Just wanted to give a protip. If you want to search on Ao3 for fics that are longer than ficlets, you can set your search for that
And if you really care about a fic, bookmark it so you can always see their updates!
#because ive seen people shitting on other authors for posting shorter fics#which??? more content is literally always better... youre not entitled to telling people what they can or cannot create#and no one should feel entitled to showing up at the top of fandom search results#thats why ao3 has such good search filters#frankly i think this whole issue is absolutely ridiculous and petty and im genuinely mad that youre directing negative attention to writers#ugh whatever#i just hate the idea of treating other people's work as an inconvience to you#what a way to create a negative vibe#anyways im working on a fic rec list for ao3 because im bad at promoing stuff i read over there#so stay tuned for that <3#ultimately if youre gonna complain on your own blog thats your prerogative i just dont like it lmfao#generally i try to keep complaints about other people (esp if theyre not hurting anyone) private
