Available bird: Bergamot

4 year old Frillback cock. Somewhat tame, but hand shy. Could make a great pet with a little work! He's been an joy to have inside for short stints, and will come over and hop on my lap to check out what I'm doing. If you are planning on breeding him, he needs fosters. He is not able to raise peeps due to temperamental issues when on the nest.

#frillback #bergamot #i wish i didn't have to let go of my berger boy but i only have so much space...#and i'm getting new frillbacks soon so it's time to retire the older birds #opuntia will be staying here for the time being though. i am debating letting her go as well but her grouse muffs are a cruicial asset to #some projects i'm planning on continuing so she may stay here until she stops laying altogether lol #berger is such a sweet boy though. the frillbacks are not quick to trust but they definitely remember who they can trust forever #they've been an interesting change from the ogos and the racers. i like their temperaments though they are not for everyone #especially not folks who expect a pigeon to be friendly out of the box...#anyways enough tag rambling. this is to say that berger would be one of my indoor pets if i was not going down to one indoor bird
