How do you get so much love for your Cyberpunk 2077 screenshots? I spend hours posing, setting up lights etc etc but I get 0 love. Ok, I'm definitely not a professional photographer, but 0? Teach me, plsssss.

Oh my goodness, I need to gather my thoughts for this because as someone whose struggled with this for a long time, I understand 100% how you feel right now and I just want to give you a bit of advice.

I'm not a professional either, and what I mean by struggle is that when I first came into this fandom I came in with nothing. I hardly got any notes or any recognition for my posts as well.. Granted I was on console and console users sadly don't get the love they deserve, and I think they deserve just as much love if not more from people, and that doesn't happen, it's a fact.

When I started using mods and got on PC, I still barely got anything, and it started becoming a struggle for me because I fed off of validation and approval from others, and that is something I still struggle with to this day, maybe not as much, but I def still do and I think most people in this fandom do. No one can say they don't crave validation, we ALL do, if we didn't we would post n o t h i n g. And while I do agree that we should post for ourselves, we also post because when we do something we are super proud of, we want others to see it and enjoy it as well and there's NOTHING wrong with that at all. We reblog our things multiple times to push it out so other's can see (and because the algorithm truly sucks, just my opinion).

I was desperate for validation because I craved interaction and friendship, that's all I ever wanted, and I wanted to bond with people I have the same interests in and because of my desperate need for it I made enemies, still to this day. It only makes you feel icky on the inside when you're constantly trying to appease others, and while it's normal to want validation, it's not normal to only do it for that and that alone. I don't know who you are anon, and I cannot "teach" you, simply because what you're doing right now is good enough, not even good, it's great & regardless of how many people interact with your VP, you are good enough and you shouldn't stop, because if you love it that's the #1 most important thing. But also don't be afraid to reblog your stuff! Reblog it as often as you like.

Also, P.S.. I am still not always proud of what I do. I still get a little envious, it's human nature, I'm on a shitty laptop with horrible graphics and I can't do much with it, but I love taking VP, it's a passion and I will do it no matter how it looks. You should do it too, the best part of doing it is doing it because you enjoy it with no regrets. Sometimes this fandom will make you feel like you have to be the very best or at the very top for people to interact with you or enjoy your VP/art, and sometimes that's true, mostly it's true... but there are still good people here who genuinely appreciate all forms of VP, whether it's console, modding, gorgeous lighting, no lighting at all, etc. It's all beautiful, and at the end of the day, that validation is gonna come and go anyway. But you will continue to look at your art and go "yeaaaaah, I did that :)"

So please don't feel upset for getting "0" love, cos I promise someone loves it.

Sexuality Headcanon:

Now, see, starting off with a kinda hard one... Taka's an interesting bean in what I calculate his sexuality to be. Most people assume Gay since... ya know. And while I don't think that's necessarily a bad take, its the popular take. And I am one who tends to shy away from popular takes. (I am also one to vehemently project onto the characters I love). Hence, I HC Taka as Demiromantic! (and demisexual to an extent...)

Forms strong emotional bonds with people close to him? Check. Only ever seems to fall romantically for those he is extremely close with??? DOuble check babeyyy!

Gender Headcanon:

Aaaand now its simple. Taka's a male. Cut and dry. Rather fondly a guy, I must say. He strikes me as the kinda guy who would be so excited to share with you that he uses he/him pronouns! He probably did some soul searching when he first learned of transitioning and other gender orientations only to find he was rather comfortable and happy where he was. (you know he spent hours studying to learn all he could) and would be all for helping others explore their gender too!

I know a lot of people hc him and mondo both as trans, but personally I think hes just very proud of his manliness.

A ship I have with said character:

I couullddd go the easy route and say Ishimondo... But you all already know that. Instead I'm going to go with a more... scandalous... ship.

Its KiyoKiyo. Korekiyo and Kiyotaka. Its my guilty pleasure ship.

Now, granted, I imagine this as a Korekiyo who has shaken himself of his 'sister's' grasp and is "normal" (Ie LOTS of therapy), so its more like the shy introvert getting dragged along by the loud golden retriever boy but I digress. Its sweet to me. Tall lanky and smol but strong.

A NOTP I have with said character:

There are so many... who do I begin with... Genuinely who do I begin with. Alr I hardly see this one in the wild but Kokichi and Kiyotaka I despise. Either that's just because I hate kokichi but-- BESIDES THE POINT. Hiro and Taka is another one I don't particularly like.

I get where it comes from, the few times they interract in the canon could be seen as brotherly (I GUESS) from Hiro's standpoint but-- Idk it just kinda rubs me the wrong way. Hiro's character in general does that...

A Random Headcanon:

Taka enjoys, and is really good at boxing. (Or wrestling) Like how some stories I've read put him on the football (soccer for us americans) team (or rugby ig idk.) I have a (self-inflicted) HC that Taka has slight anger issues hes still recovering from as a child and ABSOLUTELY uses the environment of controlled violence as a way to work off pent up steam. Any sport could do that really, but the inherent homoeroticism of wrestling is just *mwah* too good to pass up.

I know people like to HC he's into some kind of martial arts lessons for the same kind of vibe, and the art of him and Peko, but I find the inante physicality of using yer fists and body as a much more... *Taka Centric* activity. Idk.

Its the same reason he really enjoys thrill rides like rollercoasters and horror movies (if he can stand to not postulate the entire plot the whole time, ruining climactic moments and making people shush him.)

did i just see NARCISSA BLACK walking through the corridors? it must be her… though i could’ve sworn the pureblood fifth year told me to look for her in the slytherin common room! i must’ve been mistaken, since sometimes she gets confused for elle fanning. she reminds me of slipping off a bathrobe, a cold winter day spent inside by a fire, a whip cream moustache after drinking hot chocolate in the three broomsticks, painted light pink nails that can cut anyone who threatens her, faking a smile on christmas morning with her extended and immediate family. some people describe her as protective & determined, though i’ve heard she can be pretty unapproachable & gullible, too. here’s hoping she has a great term, either way!

Thursdays | Charlie Weasley x Reader

A/N: I’ve never written for Charlie Weasley (though I do love him), nor have I ever written an AU. This was completely uncharted territory for me, and I loved it. Also, I almost considered waiting until Thursday to post this, but decided to post it as soon as I finished writing it (10:58 pm on a Sunday night).

Thursdays, you thought, How boring.

Thursdays were always dull and dreary. Time always seemed to drag on. You never got many customers on Thursdays, when everyone was at work or school. The coffee shop was unpopular enough as it was, but it was practically dead on this cursed day.

Occasionally, you’d steal a muffin or two to keep yourself busy. Other times, you’d grab a random book from your bag and just read for a while. If you felt like it, you’d redecorate the chalkboard wall behind the counter. But nothing kept you very entertained for long.

When the little bell on the door rang, signaling a customer coming in, you smiled. A ginger man walked up to you, smiling brightly as he ordered.

“Eleven chocolate chip muffins and a vanilla latte, please,” he requested. You raised a curious eyebrow at the number of muffins he ordered. You weren’t trying to be judgemental with the amount of food he was eating, you were simply curious. He caught your eye and blushed.

“For my family. Mum could easily make them herself, she’s the best cook in the world, but my siblings and I were planning a surprise visit, so she wouldn’t know to cook beforehand,” he explained.

“How big is your family?” you inquired.

“Well, there are nine of us in my immediate family,” he explained, before casting his eyes to the ground with a sad expression. “Eight now, actually.” You frowned in response but didn’t question it. You’d dealt with deaths in your family, too, so you were sure he probably didn’t want to get too far into it. You silently urged him to continue anyway. “Right. So eight of us. But then there’s my youngest brother’s two friends, one of which is actually his girlfriend and the other is also dating my little sister, and then my older brother–I’m the second oldest–has a wife, so that makes 11 of us.”

“Can I have a name for the order?” you asked. As much as you wanted to keep the conversation going, you didn’t want to hold him back from a visit with his family.

“I’ll give you my name if you give me yours,” he quipped. You laughed.

“Deal,” you replied. “I’m Y/N.”

“Nice to meet you, Y/N. The name’s Charlie.”

“Well, Charlie,” you had to admit, you loved the way his name rolled off your tongue, “Here are your muffins and I’ll get you that latte.” You placed a bright pink box of eleven chocolate chip muffins on the counter for him.”Do you want any special art or something? I’ve been practicing.” 

“What kind of art?”

“Latte art. I can do pretty much anything. Shape, patterns, animals-”

“Can you do dragons?” he asked eagerly. You giggled at the child-like wonder on his face.

“I sure can try.”

Try you did, and you were rather proud of the successful dragon design. Charlie grinned as you handed him the styrofoam cup.

“I take it you like dragons, then?” Charlie’s eyes lit up.

“More than you know.” You raised an eyebrow at his answer, but didn’t press on.

“So, what do you do for a living?” you asked in an attempt to get to know more about him. “Since you obviously can tell what I do.”

“I work with, uh, animals,” he cleared his throat awkwardly. 

“So like, vet stuff? Or do you work at a zoo?”

“It’s more of, um, a sanctuary for,” Charlie paused for a moment, “Exotic animals, I guess.” He laughed awkwardly. 

The two of you continued talking for a few minutes longer. Actually, it was more Charlie talking and you admiring the beauty of the man across the counter. There was a twinkle in his blue eyes when he spoke and you adored how occasionally, his hair would fall into his face, the fiery red color and the pale tone of his skin contrasting quite nicely.

“Shit,” Charlie mumbled after a moment of silence, “I’m late!” He sighed, glancing at you in with a frown. “I gotta go, Y/N. Maybe see you soon?”

“Definitely,” you replied with a smile.

He came to the coffee shop every Thursday after that, and you couldn’t help but think that maybe, just maybe, Thursdays weren’t so terrible after that.

Backstage Review

SO I JUST FINISHED BACKSTAGE AND IM SO EXCITED AND HOPING THERES AT LEAST SOME SORT OF TUMBLR FANDOM HERE. under the cut ill do my review on characters and such to avoid spoilers for those who are still catching up

-jax: jax is so cute??? he’s so adorable LOOK AT THAT FACE

THIS GIF DOESNT EVEN GIVE HIS BEST SMILE UGH HES SO GOSHDARN CUTE. i didnt like him at first but now i love him. i just hope that him and bianca work out. ALSO his accent is so cute that i sometimes hear myself talking like his accent even though im not canadian.

-bianca: for the longest time i got kit and bianca mixed up so until like ...episode 15... i thought bianca was kit and kit was bianca. BUT IM GOOD NOW. like jax, i didnt like bianca for a long while but i love her now. and i also love her relationship with jax. THEY BETTER NOT FUCK IT UP.zel: 

-alya: shes SO PRETTY and shes so talented and i love her - backstage, plsssss let it work with miles

-miles: i s2g if backstage does a 360 and has him reject his kidney

-sasha: i wish this wasnt a freakin kids show i neED SASHA TO COME OUT AS GAY can u imagine. anyway hes iconic

-carly: ok girl you dont need vanessa, down with vanessa. shes such a great character w/o v. 

-vanessa: lil bitch. carly cant do anything anymore. 

-kit: if they pull a hannah montana where she tells the whole school (as opposed to the state of tennessee) her secret i s2g

-denzel: MY SON adorable cinnamon bun who needs to be protected. i cried when the kids followed him into the principals office. also if this were rated t or something i would be so for a gay plotline for him. 

-scarlett: honestly im not crazy about her. as a performer i couldnt stand the whole ‘i can only work alone’ plotline but it seems like shes learning that she cant only work alone and still make it in the business. i also love her sister relationship w kit, its amazing

-julie: im kinda salty that shes getting this into dance when she was an art person and doesnt have formal lessons but whatever

-jenna: cute when she was with jax and not noticed but i have a terrible feeling about her, both about the texter/blogger and as a person

overall feelings about this show: I really enjoy it - i feel like there are some times where I can predict what’s going to happen, but it turns into the thing that’s there to distract you to the real plothole. I hope alya and miles get back together, and i hope to see some more jax/bianca moments too. 

ps: im so excited to hear that fresh tv has rights to backstage, theyre my fave canadian network.
