Can't find the one post but thinking again about just how BALLER the title Wonder Woman: the Last True Hero is and how wasted I think it is titling a trade for the WML run (and not even the part anyone cares abt)

Just like "Last True Hero" in that she leans into the heroism of a more classical age but like better. To cite her old intro "Beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, swifter than Hermes, and stronger than Hercules" or paraphrased 'as good as the greatest woman, better than the greatest man', like "Last True Hero" is a title that so WORKS for Diana imo because like she's the last of that tradition, the only one in the modern world but she's also just like better than all the rest before her

#idk this may not be coherent and may be nonsense but idk i just love that for her #just diana as someone so in the past and so in the future. so related to antiquity and tradition but its the tradition of the amazons which #is very forward thinking in many ways compared to our society etc #anyways i love wonder woman and that tpb always looks so cool but the comics inside are so garbagesauce imo #anyways shoutout to the brian bolland covers they carried me through the 1st 30ish issues of the WML run bc by god the actual comics didnt #anyways diana is so awesomesauce read and tell me your favorite wonder woman comic (run or single issue) if you agree
