a/n: ahhh thank you for sending this in! it was so fun to write like stopppp i just want to give him a hug omg. also thought i'd post this to hold y'all off until i post the next part of LTPF. anyway, enjoy!

You had a very stable grasp of the limits of your relationship. What was appropriate, and what was not. You were quite shy, and Coryo always carried himself with a high level of decorum. You would eat together at lunch, and he would walk you home most days. The weekends, your study dates, were always your favourite. He was significantly more relaxed, but you could still tell he was just a little tightly wound. By now, you've just learned that's who he is. Not overly affectionate, but he cares for you and you care for him. 

"I can't stay late today, I'm sorry." You said, genuinely feeling bad for having to turn down the request. In your junior year, you started tutoring for younger grades at the academy and it is something you thoroughly enjoyed.

"I have a test tomorrow! Why can't you stay? Just for a few minutes- I just have a couple of questions." The first year, Aelia whined.

"My boyfriend is supposed to walk me home and he has a tight schedule, but I'll tell you what, I can meet you in the library in the morning before class. That way it will still be fresh in your mind, yeah?" You grinned, and she seemed satisfied as you agreed on a time, not knowing that a few of the girls in your grade were listening in.

"Y/N," Clemensia decided to approach you as Aelia walked off, Arachne and Livia following close behind. "Did I catch you telling someone that you have a boyfriend? Did I hear that right?"

"Oh, well, yes." You answered sheepishly, gathering your things to put in your bag before your next class.

"Really?" Livia chimed in, and you just nodded. "Okay, well, spill. Who is it? Do I know him?"

"Um..." You looked around, deciding what to say. You weren't necessarily keeping it a secret, but you just hadn't felt the need to tell anyone you went to school with. "It's Coriolanus. Snow." You cleared your throat, unsure why you even added his last name. It's not like the name Coriolanus was abundantly common.

"Shut up." Clemensia laughed slightly, eyes widening at you. "You're joking, right?"

"No... We've been together for almost seven months now."

"I just... wow. We had no idea. Seven months! I feel like I've never seen the two of you get closer than two feet apart." You weren't sure whether to interpret this response as teasing or genuine shock- so you just gave them an awkward smile and a small nod before walking away.

At the time, you had never considered how your lack of affection in public could be confusing to people- not that it mattered. Rumors had spread quickly after that, which was to be expected when Livia and Arachne were involved. However, PDA just wasn't your thing. General displays of affection weren't really your thing, either. Both of you always had a lot going on, and having been together for almost a year by now, you knew that you loved him and he loved you. You didn't have to prove it to each other or to anyone, there was no pressure for anything to change. On your end, anyway.

Coryo, on the other hand, was feeling something shift. Leading up to the reaping and more importantly, to the prize. You both were in the running, being in the top twenty-four of your class, and you had no doubt that Coryo was a shoo-in, but you didn't know how extremely anxious it was making him. The now constant thrumming of his heartbeat in his chest and his shaky hands were always less around you, and he can only dream of how much better it would be if he could just hold you.

These days, he'd wake up expecting you in his arms due to a particularly calming dream only to be disappointed. He respected you a great amount and wouldn't want to push your boundaries, however unspoken. Still, he wasn't sure how much longer he could go about his day-to-day without testing his theory that holding you could cure his fears, or at least let him forget about them for only a moment. He would happily take just a second of peace.

Coriolanus usually greeted you outside of your unshared classes, seeing that you tended to stay a few minutes late to ask questions or polish off your notes. He couldn't wait to see you, he needed to.

"Coryo." You smile, walking out of your lecture hall to see him waiting.

"Hi, Love. How was class?" Your boyfriend greets you, joining you on your walk towards the exit of the school.

"It was good. Though, I find the topic of the rebellion kind of redundant at this point." You say, books tucked against your chest under folded arms. "Is it not too soon to discuss it in a history class? I mean, I literally remember what it was like to live in a bomb shelter."

Your joke seemingly lands on deaf ears as he just hums, placing a hand on your lower back to guide you out of the building. This wasn't totally unusual, but with the way he was pushing you, albeit gently, was telling you that something was wrong.

"Is everything okay?" You ask him, looking up at the boy next to you as you reach the bottom of the academy's front steps.

"Fine." Coryo nods, attempting a reassuring smile that he isn't aware falls short.

"Okay, well... If you want to talk about anything, I'm here for you, you know. Always."

"I know. Thank you, Love." He drops his hand from your back to hold your free one, turning in the direction of your apartment.

The next afternoon, you're in the same class, one of the rare ones you don't share with Coryo, taking down notes from the lecture when there's a knock on the door, followed by it creaking open. You pay no mind, taking the opportunity to catch up on everything written on the board.

"May I borrow Y/N, please?" Your boyfriend's voice is scratchy and shakey in a way unfamiliar sounding to you, making your head snap up. You'd never seen him cry before. "Only for a moment."

Your teacher dismisses you, likely on account of your and Coriolanus's mutually spotless records and his red-rimmed eyes. Clearly, you were needed urgently. You leave your bag and your books, ignoring the whistles and heckling of some of your classmates as you rush to the door.

Coryo had reached his breaking point. He was writing his third paper of the week, unable to focus on that and get his mind off of how unlikely it was he would get the prize if the Dean had any say. Sitting in the library, the world had started turning around him. People were talking, laughing, even, and he couldn't take it anymore. The floodgates opened and he had rushed out of the room. He couldn't go home, his attendance would be affected and he'd be throwing away the prize most definitely. He had nowhere to go, except for to you.

You close the door behind yourself, thankful that the hallway is completely deserted during class time. "Hey, what's going on?" You ask, and before you can get a good look at him he's pulling you into a crushing hug, shaking around you.

You're shocked for a moment, pulling yourself out of your head to hug him back. Whatever is bothering him must be bad. He'd hugged you before, but never like this. "Hey, it's okay..." You whisper, rubbing his back. "Let's go outside for a second, yeah? Get some air?" You offer, gently prying yourself from his grasp to look at him.

Coryo can't speak, overtaken completely by the tears flowing down his cheeks and the anxiety flooding every inch of his body. He feels like he could be sick, all he knew that he needed was you. He just nods, trying to regain his composure, if only for the couple of minutes it takes to get outside.

"Okay. Let's go." You smile, trying not to show how worried you are as you wrap an arm around his back, still holding him close to you as if he has a broken ankle and you have to carry him. So far, his theory was proving to be correct. Just having you at his side was calming to him, and mentally he's cursing himself for not voicing his fears to you before they broke him.

As soon as the door of the rarely used back exit to the school is closed, he's essentially collapsing onto the ground, tucking his knees up to his chest and crying into his hands. You're quick to join him, draping an arm over his back and trying to grab one of his hands to hold. Your brow is knit with worry, rubbing his shoulder as he allows you to take one of his shaking hands. "Coryo..." You say softly, trying to get him to look at you but he won't. "What's happening? Talk to me, you can trust me. I just want to help."

He sniffles, looking up at you. "What is it?" You ask again, hoping to prompt any kind of information out of him. When he doesn't answer, you curve your approach to yes or no questions, hopefully, to make it easier on him. "Is someone hurt? Is it Grandma'am? Did something happen?"

He shakes his head slightly with every question, once again avoiding your eyes as he looks down at the ground, occasionally trying to cough out the knot in his throat.

"...Do you want to talk? Or do you just need a hug?" You realize, leaning in so he would look at you again.

He pulls you closer, wrapping both his arms around you awkwardly due to the way you are both sitting. "Just need you here." He mumbles, hardly audible as he buries his face in your shoulder and neck.

Relieved to hear his voice again, you place a hand on his hair and on his back, holding him tight. "I'm here, Coryo. As long as you need me."

Okay, this was actually really neat because it wasn't the fic I was expecting it to be - I haven't really checked that aspect of my Ao3 stats in a while!

My least kudos'd fic is i've got sunshine on a cloudy day - it's an Ed-centric OFMD fic that's set in the poly au 'verse. It's a fic where Ed finds a kitten, and eventually gets to keep it. I wrote it for the tiniest holiday fic exchange between me and two of my best buds, and ahhh I really love it still. It's just a really soft fic!! And has a lot of soft domestic polyamory vibes, in a way that was just so fun to write. And as someone who is super duper allergic to cats, writing a story where someone finds a kitten is fun in a good wish fulfillment type of way XD

It didn't get a lot of attention because it's got a strong Ed/Jim focus (along with Ed/Stede and Jim/Olu) but I adore it. It's a poly ship I really love, and I think it has a nice vibe to it.

quoting lines from the story - hello you found lines you loved so much, and sometimes they are my own favourite lines, what an amazing experience

keyboard smash or emoji dump - i love it, no words only feelings

single emoji or single line comments - i especially love this because it's what i do when i really enjoyed a fic but am struggling with spoons to write something - so it feels like someone took the time to leave a comment even if it was tough in the moment

paragraphs - y'all there is no greater gift as a fic writer than feeling like someone wants to write an essay about your fic

comments telling me that i've inspired their own writing is also just. delightful

anything telling me that i've done my research or put a lot of work in and it shows is the MOST validating thing!!

Okay window is probably my new favorite (I’ve already reread a couple times). Yoongi being so determined to show her how much he’s hers is just chef’s kiss tbh, like where do I get one? Lol. Brat reader is my new fave, even if I think she barely scratched the surface of that Pandora’s box. And I can’t wait to see more because that will be fun. (And this may be me realizing that I also enjoy being a brat whoops) Let’s not even talk about how this is Grammys Yoongi because that look is SO killer. Though I am still reeling about Yoongi at the Lakers game. Sports Yoongi is also something I can barely handle lol.

You really had me screaming at their interruptions. Though the 2nd interruption scene may be my new favorite snippet of 3tan. The tension and release and them finally thinking they’re alone. Which omg Tae’s reveal remains hilarious. And Dom, I love her we all need a bestie like her and like the way she read them to FILTH. Sometimes all it takes is someone else laying out. Since we don’t know where exactly this sits in canon I think it highlights that we saw in flutter and forfeit even more. But damn if that type of behavior isn’t relatable unfortunately. Their communication has gotten so much better and that’s so important, personally I think it’s the key to all relationships (platonic or not). If or when brother finds out, it’ll be very very interesting.

dom and tae in this one?? fck. i love them both. as far as reader's behavior, it's definitely showcasing that they aren't perfect and still have things to work on. but that's all of us, you know? none of us are perfect, so my characters don't get that pass to be the ideal person. we're all gonna fail at times, and so will they. it's about the learning process and how they handle things, which i think was handled very nicely by the both of them when they finally spoke.

Zuko remembers the day clearly—he was walking down the halls with Sokka, his boyfriend, who was happily spinning his fidget spinner, as one with a fidget spinner does.

It just so happened that Zuko’s ex and current best friend, Jet, was walking in the opposite direction at the time, twirling his own fidget spinner.

Jet and Sokka had never really gotten along well; they were always tense, defensive, and quick to anger around each other. But, since they were in the same friend group and both cared deeply for Zuko, they sucked it up.

Ahhh, I'm so happy to hear that your home life is doing so much better! What new video games are you planning on playing? I don't know how you feel about vampires, but there's this action rpg called Vampyr that you might like. It's a choose your own adventure type of game with a level up system that you allocate skill points into certain skills and those certain skills unlock other skills. The story is a bit iffy, especially towards the end, but the characters are really cool. The main character is also hella handsome and the soundtrack in it is really good as well. The game is out on multiple platforms; I was able to play it on my Nintendo Switch!

Wait, now I'm thinking about vampire!Bucky... hmm, nah. I think werewolf!Bucky fits him more, especially with the little blurb you wrote about Bucky and the Winter Wolf and stuff. I just want to cuddle that big wolf like no tomorrow still like UGH

MY GOD EVERYONE SAYS THAT. drawing front on is so much easier for me, y'all can actually do that annoying ass eye thing and the cheek and the jaw like WHAT HOW. But ye okay I'll actually try to practise it lmaoooooo ahhh THAT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA. Also the order thing THank you!

just letting u know now that the video is completely useless unless you just like to watch someone’s process in general SO i wrote up a rly quick summary of what i did

1. i start with a circle and 2 guidelines facing the direction i want. the horizontal guideline gives me an idea of where to place the eyes / start the cheek, and the vertical guideline lets me know where the middle of the face is / where i’ll add or join the chin.

once i draft that circle, i draw over it with the basic face shape of the character, usually setting the forehead and cheek out further than the chin. 

2. for the eyes, i like to begin with the outer-most eye so you can get an idea of the curvature , placement, etc. i place the inner corner of the eye in line with the vertical guideline, and end with the outer corner touching the edge of the face.

although i didn’t do it here, it’s really helpful to draw the upper lids for both eyes first, that way you can nail the placement and symmetry while also making sure you don’t dedicate too much attention to one side. this probably wont make sense, but i also “squish” the iris of the outer eye because as the person is looking over to you / “over the nose”, you’re going to see less of that than you would with the eye completely facing you. if that makes sense  (??)

i also tend to draw the outer eye, eyelid, and eyebrow with more of a “curve” because of how the perspective works. in my mind, anyways. i don’t know if its actually correct oop-

3. flip the canvas !! it definitely helps you understand what you need to fix in terms of both anatomy and perspective. it also makes everything so much easier if you take advantage of the lasso and transform tools. sometimes you don’t draw it right the first time or the 50th time, so it helps when you can just stretch and squish a shape to your desire

4. i draw the bridge of the nose next to the inner part of the outer (furthest) brow bone and drag the line downwards (about midway). i also like to draw that weird triangle thing because of personal preference, dont mind that. to me, it just makes sense in my mind as the shadow cast to the side/on the cheek

5. the mouth!! the edges of the mouth should align with the pupils. so i like to start, again, on the outer edge and bring it inwards. to give the illusion of that 3/4ths profile, i like to end the bottom lip a bit shorter than the top lip and add some dark space inside / where the teeth would be to give the impression of space, cheek, etc. **the red circle under the eye was to show that my lower lids werent level with each other so i wanted to fix that**

6. the ear (v generally speaking) should begin at the same height as the eyes and end at the bottom of the nose. i dont draw the other ear bc its obviously hidden hehe

biggest tip: curves curves curves ! i curve the eyes, the brows, the cheek, the crop of his body, etc. i just feel like it sells the point a little bit more

A Month of Nocturne Alchemy Samples: Week Four

Ahhh, my last week of samples! This has been a fun foray, and hopefully it will make me keep on wearing these more frequently.

Dream Bottle: Goddess Dreams: Bastet Amber, SL Crystalline (Egyptian Vanilla Orchid stigma Resin), Frankincense & Myrrh, Snow Musk and Blue Sandalwood NAVA Accord. The Dream Bottle Collection was released in December of 2015. There were six bottles in the exclusive set, four of which were reimagined perfumes from the PC, and two were brand new "Dream" blends. Goddess Dreams was one of those. You could order the four individually, but the only way you could get the exclusive two was to order as a set. The other exclusive is Nag Champa Dreams, and I found that in a full size one day in the NA Marketplace group on Facebook. Lucky break! Anyway, I've never seen Goddess Dreams come through, so yeah, I hoard my decant. These were my introduction into sleep scents, and it's no surprise I now love those, they have a special spot in my collection. Goddess Dreams feels slightly familiar to me now that I have Love Of Bastet: White Sandalwood Vanille. I'm not quite sure why, but I suspect it's got something to do with the sandalwood, although the notes are mostly different, except for Crystalline. This is a white, soft scent, very dreamy and lifted, if that makes sense. It puts you in a different space - takes you away from your everyday cares. There's serenity here, peace. It doesn't quite knock me out the way Sleepyceratops or Sleep Elixir does, but it helps me to put away my worries, and that helps me a lot. Love it! I've always kind of hoped they'd bring the set back one day, but no luck yet.

Plumeria Sapphire: Egyptian Plumeria, Hawaiian Spring Plumeria, White Jasmine amidst the gem of Amber and Musk (Nokturne:Sapphire). This is a now discontinued scent from the PC subcollection Bastet's Garden, and I hoard it rather than wear it usually. It's so beautiful. It starts out with an almost candied burst of plumeria, sweet but not too sweet. That mellows into a lovely, lush floral, with the base of Sapphire's golden, rich amber musk. Unfh. It feels so warm, tropical, and summery. Absolutely adore it. There's almost a little floral/spice to this in long drydown, it's such an interesting blend. They've said a while back that Bastet was working on a viable replacement, something that the components wouldn't be so expensive to acquire. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Kiskah Kashmir: Aged Kashmir Red Musk, Bittersweet Cacao, Kiskah Incense Smoke, N3 Musk, Black Incense, a drop of blood from a Black Pungent Rose and Sugar Vapour. This was from the Halloween 2014 LC release! Okay, it's no secret, I absolutely adore this. The cocoa starts out strong, but within minutes is reeled in by the other notes and becomes a soft, supporting note. It's perfect against the warm, deep red musk of Kashmir. This feels so gothic and velvety. The rose is STUNNING. Easily my favorite rose I've ever tried. It's balanced perfectly with the other notes, none of them overpowers the others. And the sugar note. TO. DIE. FOR. It's as if you dipped a lush, dark rose into a little sugar syrup and it hardened to a crust - and the sugared rose playing against the red musk is just right. Unfh. Absolute perfection.

Crystalline Burning Jack: Indian Ajowan, Pumpkin Skin, Pumpkin Seed, Zucchini and Pumpkin Bread, Cinnamon Stick, Smoke, Nutmeg, Clove and fallen leaves of the old oak tree. Adding a smattering of White Fig absolute, Lychee Oil concentrate and a big kiss from Crystalline Vanilla. This was a sample a few years back from NAlloween - Bastet made these for us, but they've never made a full bottle of the scent, so I hoard my sample. I absolutely love it. It's warm and cozy, and such an iconic fall scent. Very evocative. The pumpkin and zucchini breads are delicious, and the Crystalline adds almost a sweet vanilla "glaze". It's the perfect addition. The spices are not overwhelming, but add the perfect support needed. I would for sure buy a big bottle of this, if it were ever offered!

Dragon Rain: NA Tibetan Musk, Nokturne: N3 Egyptian Musk (a softer Egyptian Musk), Egyptian and Arabian Dragon's Blood Resin, Dragon's Blood Resin (from Africa), the ethereal Bastet Amber, White African Musk, Roman Amber, Egyptian Sandalwood, Seville Orange e/o, sweet Egyptian Styrax and aged Nokturne: Crystal (Vanilla Musk). This one is a Vault from June of 2013. Because it's had so much time to age, it's very hard to pick out individual notes. It's a light blue, serene musk, a little sweet, almost watery. Very lovely!

Day of the Dead: In the cemeteries, the living clean the graves of their loved ones and celebrate with music, dancing, drinking and eating things their loved ones can enjoy 'through' them. It is a time of celebration and this is our honouring of the dead by creating a perfume of Horchata, a drink made from ground up rice along with sweet cinnamon sugar infused with almond milk and blended into Nokturne:Crystal as our ode to sweet Vanilla Musk celebrations! This is from the All Hallows' Eve section of the PC, one of my favorite sections. My friend Heather actually gave me this sample, and I love it. It smells just like the Horchata drink, and it's very appealing. The sugar and milk almost has a little dark smell, like carmelized a bit? And it's so appealing. It's a little musky, and I love the rice milk. For me this is one of the easiest gourmands I've ever worn. I love it and will definitely be upgrading it when my sample gets low.

Sacred Scarab: Black Fig, Raw Pumpkin and Black Egyptian Sugar. Renewal, eternal youth and resurrection. A sweet earthy scent. This is from the Egypt and Her Wonders section of the PC. This one is a simple scent, the fig is brown and a little spicy, the pumpkin is warm, and the sugar adds a little crusty sweetness. It's easy to wear. I've got a somewhat similar scent from the Pumpkin Library, so I probably won't be getting a full bottle of this for a while, but I really like it!

So that's it, a full four weeks of samples! I hope you've enjoyed this look into my sample box. It almost feels like Mary Poppins' bag, I don't even know every treasure I have in there. It's been a fun challenge. I will probably do my Vaults next month, but because I don't have a full month's worth, I won't be regularly publishing. It will probably be every other week. im SUPER sorry;; if you’ve requested something im super busy w family stuff and work but next week im free so ill get the requests done,, this was just something i’ve had written for a while lol its basically the plot of an episode of a tv show i watched when i was in spain in august idek what it was called but it was super cute and i thought it fit jisung because?? idk i feel like his personality fits this sort of thing lol anyway hope u enjoy

you joined the organised crime unit straight out of police training and tbh you were a prodigy

you were known for solving cases in record speed and you were always effective in undercover work

you knew of someone else on the force who was just as good at solving cases/being undercover as you were

but you had no idea who they were, just that they were in the homicide unit

anyway

your unit had been following a gang for quite a while

and you’d come to know all of their members quite well

when suddenly, the guy you were preparing to arrest was killed by a contract killer

your unit managed to catch the killer and he confessed that he was paid to kill the guy by a guy within the main gang in the city

and so your unit decided,, you should go undercover

you studied up on the members of this second gang and you focused all of your efforts on who appeared to be pulling the strings even though he wasn’t the leader

this guy called yoon jisung

luckily someone else in your unit was already undercover in the gang and so when you joined he introduced you as his half-sister

and straight away you spotted jisung looking at you up and down

you knew he was a bad guy, his files said left the police force a year ago and joined the gang straight away

he was very close to the leader already and was almost like his right hand man

little did you know, jisung was also an undercover agent

THE undercover agent from the homicide unit

he kept his real name in the gang to make his story more believable,, also because he can’t deal with fake names because he’d never adjust to being called something else lol

but boy did he think it was fishy that straight after this guy from another gang was killed that you were introduced

he immediately suspected you were in some way connected to the contract killing,, probably because you had close ties to a contract killer or something

anyway

after the gang meeting where you were introduced he approaches you straight away

and you're just like wow okay that was easy lol already my suspect is talking to me try to find info;;

that's literally exactly what he's trying to do with you as well

ahhh when he starts speaking to you you realise ;; oh my god;; he’s actually super good looking lmao no don't fall in love with a criminal

he holds out his hand for you to shake it and he smiles wide and tilts his head to the side slightly

you take his hand hesitantly because how is someone in a gang this bright lmao

he immediately starts asking you where you’re from and stuff which is really cute because he’s listening so intently to everything you say and he seems really interested

he’s interested for a different reason lol

it’s got bits of truth in there too but your undercover identity is that you do really have “ties” to a contract killer organisation

and he's mentally kicking himself like lmao they’re a cold hearted killer don't fall in love

and over the next few weeks you’re always put on jobs together

when you both had to go to a meeting with the head of a supplier chain he claimed that ‘the boss told him that you needed to accompany him’

your coworker later revealed to you that no… jisung requested that you went with him to the meeting

this all was a bit,, suspicious but

you accepted it because it meant you could get close to your suspect even if it was in a weird way

one day, after you attend another meeting together he invites you out to a bar for a drink

and the gang you two are in basically controls that bar lol

so you decide you’ll try to get him drunk and get some information out of him so you can arrest him

but when you get there turns out he had the same idea and you both order virgin drinks lol

anyway

you swallow your pride and ask him about the case and you find that he oddly knows a lot??

like he knows who did it ok suspicious much jisung

and he’s realising that you know who did it too,, which is also really making you look suspicious lol

but you’re also realising that under this soft light god damn is he beautiful?? Oh my god??

lmao he's thinking the same about you like god they’re so?? Evil?? But so?? Good looking??

of course its jisung so he makes lots of terrible jokes along the way when will he stop

out of nowhere he starts to talk to you about the story of his friend in the gang being killed in a hit by the gang the guy who died was from

and he was telling the whole truth, his friend was undercover with him (which he didn't mention obviously lol) and he was killed

and jisung didn't know why he was opening up to you but you just seemed so easy to talk to lol

and you could tell this thing with his friend was really eating at him like he was truly upset wow gangsters have feelings??

in the back of your mind you were thinking ok motive found but you pushed it aside because he was really opening his heart to you and he was genuinely upset and no decent human being is about to ignore someone in distress

so as it seemed like he was about to cry you took hold of his hands and held them

he squeezed your hands back and looked up

and oh my god

he was crying but it was like a hiccupy cry (you know the one)

and it was so cute because he was smiling at you as well as like;; a thank you for being so comforting

and seriously this guy is damn cute for a gangster like wow how??

but really your feelings for each other are just getting deeper and deeper and you know it's so wrong because you’re meant to be arresting each other but you know love you can't help it

soon enough you guys are pretty much partners (in crime, literally)

like you always attend meetings together and stuff,, and y'all are both close to the boss

and you can full on admit you’ve totally fallen for this weird soppy cute gangster and don't tell anyone but he's fallen for you too UH

when suddenly there's an attempt on your colleague's life, the guy who you’re undercover with

and almost immediately there's a retaliation from what seems to be your gang

something clicks inside your brain and you realise

jisung put the hit out for that retaliation

nobody died but he did it because well you’re his partner, and your colleague is supposed to be your brother so it's like the done thing in a gang lol

little do you know, he's thinking the same about you, that you put the hit out yourself because well… it's your brother of course you’re going to get one back

so that night he decides to invite you out for a drink and then he’ll arrest you because well clear motive??

and when he invites you, you also decide that tonight's the night you’ll arrest him because DAMN the evidence is overwhelming

when you both arrive at the same bar as you went to before, you both order virgin cocktails and sit next to each other at the bar

reminiscing about the past few months of knowing each other and stuff, and laughing about how dumb jisung looked when he cried (sorry jisung youre cute i love you really??)

after a while theres a break of silence

and you both reach into your pockets/bags and pick out the handcuffs inside

you breathe in and out slowly and turn to fake jisung right as he turns to face you with his hands in his pockets

‘y/n, you’re under arrest-’

‘jisung, you’re under arrest-’

‘wait, what??’

Jisung stands up straight away and hes completely taken aback like whats going on

And theres a total ruckus going on in the bar now because ok theres two policemen here?? what

Jisung quickly grabs your hand and pulls you out of the bar and down into an alley beside it

as you’re trying to recover from that shock he fires questions at you like;;; quick fire

‘What was that?? You’re police too? What unit? Why didnt you tell me? Were you going to arrest me? What for? Oh my god, my boss is going to kill me…’

somehow you find the humour in all this

like you were just about to arrest each other for the exact same crime at the exact same time but you’re both undercover agents

(pls @ police units improve communication look what you’ve done)

when he hears your soft giggles he stops worrying and just joins in laughing because

admit it

its pretty funny yall were both the best undercover agents and you just tried to arrest each other

then he realises this cute little gang member he has a crush on isn't a gang member at all and there is no reason that he can’t kiss them right now

so he does

right then and there

and of course you’re shooketh because oh yeah;; he’s not a gangster i can totally do this and not feel bad lol

and then you realise your cover is completely and utterly blown and you can’t stay undercover anymore because BASICALLY the whole gang knows you’re policemen… either that or they think you’re into really kinky stuff oo ;)

and you can see the look on jisungs face when he realises it too but

‘Cover is blown but… got to admit it was worth it’

and he leans in to kiss you again uh BLESS

after that mess of a case you join the same unit as jisung and you two become the famous undercover couple

you always go undercover together, always as a couple because a) its easy and b) you don’t even have to act

every time someone new joins the unit you take your roles as the official parents™ of the unit and you train everyone who wants to go undercover as though they’re like your child uhh cute

your picture is up in the hall of fame for agents and sgadjfg the picture is so cute because you LOOK like parents

basically you two are like the cutest and the BIGGEST undercover agent power couple

AHHH it’s good to be back with a mini-fic! I’m sorry for being gone for so long, just two more months and my schedule will finally OPEN UP and I can focus on this blog. Anyway, this is just a little thing I came up with. This ask has been in my ask box for MONTHS and I’ve always wanted to write it.

YOU FELL FIRST (ZEN X MC) - PART 1 (possibly?)

Zen was confused, and for multiple reasons. He couldn’t understand how he could fall for someone so quickly. Five days was all it took. Maybe it was the genuine kindness that seemed to just radiate off of you, or maybe it was because for the first time in his life, the girl he liked didn’t like him back the same way. Was it just the thrill of the chase? Did he just feel challenged to pursue you more because you were hard to get? He didn’t know.

At first, it did break his heart a little. He wanted to be able to express how much he liked you, but he didn’t want to make you uncomfortable since you didn’t feel the same way. Nonetheless, he never stopped showing care and concern towards you, and you didn’t either. Just like how he envisioned his ideal girlfriend to be, you supported his dreams, you were always there for him, and you didn’t like him just because he was handsome; you saw past his looks and you learnt to appreciate his personality, even down to his tiniest quirks.

The first time he met you, he had a broken ankle and you appeared at his doorstep, a worried look on your face. He observed your features closely. He had worked with many pretty actresses before, but you were beyond beautiful. Even your voice sounded even more melodic in real life. And boy, hearing you laugh made him wish he was a comedian, just so he could hear it over and over again. He had a huge crush on you. In fact, he had hoped that while the both of you sat on the rooftop that night, you couldn’t hear his heart beating so fast in his chest. Several times that night, while you stared at the night sky, he debated reaching over to hold your hand. Would that make you uncomfortable? You didn’t even feel the same way! After that night he prayed. He’d never been the religious type, but he prayed to whatever or whoever was out there that you’d be safe, and that you’d come around and fall for him too.

The both of you weren’t together but he found himself staying committed to you. In the past he would allow himself to flirt with other girls. Now it seemed wrong. Sure, the both of you weren’t exclusive to each other, and he respected if you chose to flirt with other people, even date other people, but he just couldn’t. He would think of you the moment he woke up, and you were his last thought before he would fall asleep at night.

You’d wake up with a good morning text, and you could only fall asleep if you knew he was going to bed too. Friends. That’s what friends did right? It was normal… right?

A month passed.

You got to know him better. The both of you started to hang out more often, to the media’s content. The bolded headline “IS THIS ZEN’S NEW GIRL?” followed by a blurry picture of you and Zen sitting in a café would be on page 2. Three days later, another headline “MYSTERY GIRL CUDDLES UP TO YOUNG BROADWAY STAR” would be right next to a picture of you hugging Zen goodbye after a picnic at the park; front page. You learned to laugh at them, and so did Zen. Whatever relationship you had with him was purely platonic, but why did you feel like he didn’t want it to be? And why did you feel like you didn’t want it to be that way either?

Two months passed.

You were cooking dinner. Zen was coming over after his rehearsal. It had been over two weeks since you had last seen him. Damn his busy schedule, the boy’s director was working him to the bone! You hoped that a nice dinner would help him relax a little. You’d never been the makeup type, but you found yourself putting on some mascara and tinted lip-balm. Why? And why was your heart beating so fast?

You heard a knock on your door and instantly your heart started beating even faster. You were so used to texting him every day but lately he hadn’t been consistent. Again, blame it on his busy schedule. So yes, maybe you did miss him. Yes, that was why your heart was beating so fast right? Right. You took a deep breath and opened the door.

There stood the tall, white-haired guy. He was clearly tired. His hair was slightly dishevelled and there were even slight bags under his eyes. Of course, they didn’t make him look any less handsome. He still looked like a damn model. You pulled him into a hug instinctively. You felt his whole body tense up, but a few seconds later he relaxed and wrapped his arms around you too.

“How are you?” You asked, breaking the silence.

“I missed you.”

Your heart started beating even faster.

You both sat down for dinner. This time you decided to observe him closely. What was it about him that changed that made you suddenly… attracted to him? He looked up from his plate and saw you looking at him inquisitively. He offered a small smile.

“You okay there, MC?”

“No, something changed about you,” you replied back.

“Really? What?”

“I don’t know, but this feels different…”

He laughed. “I don’t feel particularly different. But you look a little different, so maybe it’s you?”

And then it hit you.

There you sat in front of him, in a pretty dress you only ever wore on dates, with your hair tied up neatly, makeup done; from the beginning he had only ever seen you in shorts and a t-shirt, and your hair was always in a mess.

You were trying to impress him.

Because you liked him.

“Hmm.”

You weren’t gonna show how much your realisation affected you. You weren’t gonna talk about it. He had had a busy enough day. He was clearly tired. Did you really wanna pile emotions on top of that too? Nope.

You didn’t realise that you’d been sitting in silence until he cleared his throat.

“I didn’t mean it in a bad way. You look very beautiful as always, MC. You could sit in front of me in a black trash bag and I’d still think you’re gorgeous,” he said. “You know that right?”

He complimented you a lot. You knew he liked you from the start, but how did your reaction to all of this change from “Wow, what a great friend, such kind words.” to “Holy sh*t my heart is gonna beat out of my chest did he really just say that to me!”?

You shifted uncomfortably in your seat, trying to come up with a topic for conversation. Sure, you liked him, but so did around a million other girls. Who wouldn’t like him? It took you some time, but did you really think you could befriend a guy like Zen and not become infatuated with him eventually?

You didn’t know what exactly you were going to do with your feelings, but what you did know was that it wasn’t the right time to confess.

Maybe you’d just let your feelings dissipate. They will eventually, right?
