of course he is. they met at the age of 12/13 ish and have been friends for two decades. they've been friends for almost as long as they've been in the sport. they were friends in their very formative years. although the sport brought them together, it doesn't mean it was just the sport alone that held them together.

they were kids too. they were competitive in everything. from racing to see who finishes pizzas first to making promises under the grecian skies of being in formula one together. lewis went from watching nico's debut monaco gp in 2006, to actually getting their shared podium in 2008, the famous cool down room hug and the sheer content in their eyes.

nico rosberg fundamentally shaped lewis hamilton and vice versa. it's undeniable no matter how many times lewis refuses to say his name but leaves presents for nico's daughter. no matter how many times lewis physically dodges out nico and sneaks away , he'll always know about nico's retirement because nico had texted him about it upon which they had a little chat about.

so of course nico knows lewis. how lewis is as a person, as a driver and a world champion. so he knows the exact corners where he loses time, his racing style, what he's comfortable with, and how he's literally the ❛ greatest of all time . . . ❜

so he's entitled to criticize and praise lewis however he wishes because he knows him. he knows lewis both objectively and subjectively. the reason why nico's opinion weighs in heavier is because of their shared history that was beyond the sport. he will always be his best friend irrespective of the potentially irreparable damage, their history runs deep and is etched into their hearts forever.

so if he wants to run a fucking show about everything lewis, he's entitled to do so, without any criticism from anyone..😐

Some snippets into Donnie's relationship to his brothers in the Separated AU

So after having figured out that Donnie is in fact their Long Lost Brother, the Drax Trio obviously want him back, and while Donnie is initially excited to find out that he has a bunch of siblings, he's less excited to find out that they're a bit, uh, evil. And they keep insulting April!! How dare they!!! Not to mention, he already has a dad, he doesn't need a new one! So no, Donnie isn't planning on just leaving his current family behind for this new one, and his brothers react to this in various different ways.

As much as Mikey wants Donnie back, Dr. Feelings understands that this is quite the adjustment for Donnie and that he may need some time to come to terms with the fact that he actually belongs with them and not with the humans. Mikey doesn't wanna force his brother to reunite with them, so instead he tries to convince Donnie to come home willingly through various ways. I mentioned this in an earlier post, but AU Mikey is essentially trying to give Donnie a redemption arc like Canon Mikey did with Draxum

Raph, however, sees Donnie and immedietly goes full Protective Big Brother Mode. He thinks the best course of action is to "forcefully rescue" (kidnap) him and and then convince him to stay and be apart of their family. He's can't help catastrophizing about all the way his baby brother is definitely being mistreated by Lou Jitsu and April and all the other evil humans oh NO they have to SAVE HIM!! The only reason he doesn't is because no one else in the Draxum family thinks it's a good idea

And then Leo. I'll go more into detail about Leo's character in this AU at a later dat cuz hhhhhhh but basically, he's still dealing with pretty intense Middle Child Syndrome and the LAST thing he need is another middle child joining the family! Why are all his family members so obsessed with getting Donnie back anyway? He's already clearly chosen the human side so why waste their time on him! .....Now that's not entirely the whole truth, he's kinda ecstatic when he first meets Donnie, except Donnie doesn't seem to care about them any, which... ouch.

Another way to describe their dynamic would be similar to their canon dynamic, a lot of friendly bickering.... except they don't really know each other and are also enemies here so like.... UNfriendly bickering.... which is just bickering lol. They fight a lot, is what I'm getting at.

Anyway you know the family dinner scene with Draxum in season 2 of the show? Yeah, Mikey tries that tactic here too. Like I said, Mikey wants to be patient with Donnie, but he does eventually get a bit tired of Donnie acting so hostile all the time so he starts organizing hangouts for the four of them (attendence is mandatory!)

And poor Donnie, this whole situation is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for him, as you might imagine. Reuniting with your secret lost family is fun for all of five seconds before you find out that they're actually kinda messed up uh oh. A big reason why Donnie acts so hostile towards his brothers is because it's easier for him to just dismiss them as mere enemies that he feels no attatchment to. He's basically being made to pick between this new family and his old one is Not Fun.

Honestly these are so much fun I'll always still be doing them, lol. This one in particular. Also Giliys and Harper took over my brain, so you get two for the price of one.

"Mino." He seems to be staring off into the distance despite there being a wall directly behind you. He suddenly shakes his head, like a dog shaking himself dry. "Sorry, there's...a lot that comes up when she...uh...comes up....and most of it has nothing to do with her. Uh...so first off: she's great. Just...getting that out there. I think she's...well I guess the shortest way of saying it is that she's a good person. That's...not something I ever expected to say about a hellknight. But, uh, she is. Good, I mean. And when she's with Regill -" he cuts himself off. "No. That's - you wanted me to talk about what I think of Mino. Not...yeah.

"Anyway, uh...yeah, she's great. We're bardic hammer buddies. Just...completely devastating to tonedeaf skeletons everywhere. And everyone is a skeleton if you hit them hard enough, so....and it's really fun sort of...coordinating our performances on the fly."

He sighs and hangs his head. "Sorry. That's, uh...that's not very...I just don't want to say something that might make it seem like I don't like her or anything - because I do! I just...." He purses his lips. "It was easier to deal with just being 'a coincidence of birth' to Regill when I thought he didn't have a heart anymore." He takes a deep breath, before plastering a huge grin on his face.

"But Mino! I wish we had met in Brastlewark, back before the library...you know. She's so good with Ember - you can tell she loves kids, and the kids at the library would have loved her. I'd probably have to talk to a few of them about not touching other people's tails or feathers or scales without permission, but personal space and bodily autonomy are important lessons for kids to learn. May as well let them learn it while meeting a nice knight lady."

Meanwhile, in another timeline....

"Regill's wife? She's alright." Giliys shrugs. "I mean, she's bought into that hellknight shit - "

"DAT'S A BAD WORD!" Harper screams from her perch on her father's lap, the fur on her tail puffing up as Giliys flinches. She waves a glass jar in her father's face. "You gotta put a copper in da swear jar now! Dat's da rule!"

Giliys sighs as he reaches into his coin pouch and retrieves a copper piece for the swear jar. "As I was saying, she's bought into the hellknight ideology, probably no saving her at this point - but she means well, so I don't gotta constantly stop myself from reaching for my daggers when we talk."

"PAAAAPAAAA! You're not 'lowed to talk bout daggers in front of da kids! Daddy says so! Dats da rule!"

"Is it, now?" Giliys asks. "How bout I put a copper in the swear jar, then, and we just not mention it to Daddy?" Harper shakes her head.

"Nuh-uh. Swear jar's for swears only."

"That so?"

"Good. Uh...where was I? Right, no idea why she settled for....Regill. Then again I also got no clue why Thay settled for me neither. Maybe good people just have sh - " Giliys freezes, eying the girl on his lap. "Uh, terrible taste in men. There, is that allowed, Tiger?"

"Yeah."

"Alright, how bout you go play?"

"Nuh-uh. I'm s'posed to watch you til the nice person with the questions leaves."

Harper nods again, deadly serious. "Cuz Daddy says you can't be trusted alone after last time."

Giliys sighs and mutters under his breath something about "one time" and "being babysat by a four year old" and "didn't even do anything." Having a healthy sense of self-preservation, you choose that moment to take your leave.

Episode 9 - "I GOT A SUPER IDOL AKJSDNKSJANDKJ" - Kenneth

At the last tribal, Toph was voted out. During the past round, Keith found an exile ticket in the idol hunt and is in exile this round. The individual immunity this round is a 'chop the rope' style of Touchy Subjects. It will be followed by an instant tribal council.

ANNA OU- the execution of the vote was an absolute mess this is embarrassing y'all... i'm really starting to not trust ellie more and more considering the way this vote went! the way we were originally gonna vote toph but all this mess led to us flipping votes to brayden, which was a fail cuz he played the idol to himself and not toph LOL and not babs giving the idol to ellie cuz she would've gone home tonight!!!!! thank god the end results were still in our favor, getting rid of toph, but raffy is pissed once again lmao. this twist is very interesting, because i knew ahead of time that keith was gonna poof this round but i played dumb and whateva! it's kind of concerning cuz it might actually be a 4-4 split this time which SCARES ME so the extra vote consideration might be even higher. I really wanna win this Touchy Subjects challenge so the votes don't pile onto me (even though I fully believe it'll be either Dennis or Ellie lol)

my bestie toph just went home and im so sad :( he was literally my closest ally in the game and i am literally sooooo sad that he’s gone. but i did use my idol on myself which ended up being good bc if i didnt i would have gone to jury. just like everything is going wrong for me at this point and im on the bottom pretty much with raffy and anastasia. we needed to flip 2 people to have majority, BUT KEITH LEFT TO EXILE ISLAND AND HE WAS THE MAIN OPTION WE WANTED TO FLIP, so now that leaves kenneth and babs and we have to flip both of them or we are out of here. so we have our work cut out for us, but i really think we can flip babs because like they would just get like 6th place without us, and i just gave i think a pretty good pitch to kenneth so i really hope he considers it and doesn't just run and tell his majority alliance like he did with anastasia. anyways the challenge is touchy subjects and im nervous and i kind of am wishing i voted kenneth for biggest goat but i think i put riley and i regret ut. i hope someone says kenneth as biggest goat or something so it opens his eyes and he realizes he is literally number 4 to a solid 3 and should flip and be number 4 in our not at all solid 3. anyways i really hope i live this round

Captain Exile's log, Entry #58. I have been on exile island for an hour. it seems like forever... my mind is slowing turning into mush. I fondly remember the days I would plot Raffy's demise. Those days now seem like a lifetime ago.

I wonder why the 3 time keeping hosts have forsaken to this island, making me a fool by calling it a vacation. I also will never forgive them for not having an exile island hidden immunity idol. I should have asked Jay to send her cat to keep me company. . opportunity missed.

hey everybody its round 9. i played my idol to save myself which was so cool but im sad that i had to do it bc now im really vulrunable and have no protection in this world. my only alliance left is anastasia and raffy and i dont even know if i can actually trust raffy bc he just voted toph off, but like i have no other options. also i jut realized i thimk i actually did send a confessional this round but its ok. the challenge is touchy subjects and i know i have pretty much no chance of winning but i hope i get asked whos a goat so i can say kenneth and maybe he’ll flip. the plan is to go for riley this round since they arent a huge player and hopefulyl anyoen who flips would be fine voting them. i really really really hope tonight isnt a hands up tribal bc that would be really bad ;)

I was completely over Toph's vote out. Like, it just is another demonstration of my "allies" not trusting me. They thought that I told Toph all about the plan to vote him instead of Brayden. They think I ratted to Anastasia and Brayden about the whole deal. It was incredibly frustrating to wake up from a nap with my allies not trusting them. And then they wanted me to vote for Brayden which would have landed Ellie in the jury house. Like, the plan was perfect, but Dennis, Babs, and Ellie just talked themselves into a paranoid mess. After the vote, I managed to talk myself into the good graces of Brayden and Anastasia after voting out Toph. What I said was "If y'all still want to work together, I'm down, but I didn't necessarily trust Toph. Additionally, I was approached like last minute to vote him because of Ellie's idol (they told me about it just before the vote). And I didn't want Brayden to go (didn't know about your idol)." They seemed to buy it?

I went on call with Dennis afterwards and basically asked for Riley to get voted out this round because they are Ellie's immoveable ally. They will never want to work with me. That's dangerous. It could give Ellie a lot of power in this game. Dennis seemed to agree. I also realize that Dennis has a crystal clear view of my game. He knows the type of game I am playing. That scares me. I need to play this game with the knowledge he can turn on me at any time.

My current position is in the middle. I am working with the heads of both sides in this game. I am working with Ellie, Dennis, and Babs on one side. And Anastasia and Brayden on the other. Kenneth is on the Ellie side, but I think my avenues with him are currently closed. What's the most frustrating is that Anastasia and Brayden are so misted by Babs that they can't see that they are LYING. Straight to their faces! Talking about wanting to be allies. Like, I need them not to spill to Babs about anything cause then I would be exposed.
