When I think about it, the Wii Kirby games have a trend of giving you a little hub world of sorts to hang out in.
And they were absolutely fuckin' right to do so.
#this is about the lor in return to dream land and quilty square in epic yarn#( <- had to look up the name of epic yarn's place lmao)#i never had dream collection so i dunno if that one also had a hub world or not#anyway. kirby hub areas my beloved#part of the reason rtdl is my favourite kirby game is because you can go back to the lor and hang out and talk to magolor whenever you want#and it's amazing#return to dream land as a whole is a lot more dialogue-heavy than most other kirby games and i like that about it a lot#and also rtdl has the best multiplayer mechanics in the series by far#(though i think amazing mirror would also be up there with how it lets everyone just do their own thing)#(amazing mirror's problem is that it's hard to actually get the multiplayer set up iirc dgdgshfs)#anyway. getting off topic. hub areas <3#forgotten land also has a hub world with waddle dee town and once again it was a wonderful decision <3#kirby's return to dream land#kirby's epic yarn#kirby#not a comic or an ask
