Syd has peak only child energy because on the one hand she has this independence and backbone that steers her through turmoil by herself and she's absolutely willing to carry the world on her shoulders but on the other she's low-key desperate for someone to fully and unquestionably trust like she decides to trust Carmy about the Bear so quickly she gets so upset when he doesn't show because she wants him to!
