so today I kinda just... fell in to facilitating a community meeting about gender. like I had proposed the meeting and had ideas of how to hold the space and then it actually just happened that way. and everyone was so respectful and thoughtful and at some points quite vulnerable. and now the community has found next steps on how to be better. and they thanked me for it. what the fuck

#like to be clear: I did not intend to be the facilitator.#but! it worked. and to be honest - i was good at it.#I keep having moments of realising that a lot of my skills lie in people. community organisation. it all just really makes sense to me.#which is hilarious because on a 1-1 level I am incredibly socially anxious lmao.#but in this sort of intentional group space I really find confidence. something about Structure does something to my brain.#anyway. i am exhausted. it was a lot. i felt responsible for queer people everywhere and it was heavy. but it was good.#moss life
