nonidol!jung wooyoung x f!reader
the one where you're stuck in denial and wooyoung's determined to not be stuck in the friend zone.
7.7k words, fluff, f2l, they've kinda got a banter thing going on, he's in a frat cuz i said so, college au, swearing, kissing, mentions of alcohol and food, pining, obliviousness, jealousy/insecurity if you squint...? (sorry mark), barely proofread, overall pretty wholesome
a/n: okay... wooyo brainrot going hard lately, but anyways, hope u enjoy <3

The horizon glittered like a sea of molten gold when you stepped onto the sandy shores of the beach. Seagulls squawked overhead, riding the setting sky like your friends currently in the surf. You smiled to yourself, inhaling the briny air and slipping the shades off your nose and up onto your head. Your sandals hung limp in your hand as grains of sand embedded themselves into the soles of your bare feet while you jogged down the hill toward the bonfire and crowd of people.
The last week of summer before the fall semester brought your friends to convince you to come to their last bonfire at the beach. It wasn't difficult to persuade you.
“Oy, Yn! Head's up!"
Your eyes shot open and your head whipped up. Sandals fell from your hand as they came up to grab the frisbee out of the sky. It was plastic and blue, with scratches engraved into its surface from thorough use.
Hoots of approval erupted from further down the bank. "Nice catch!" Yeonjun praised as he jogged to meet you in the middle. A light blue Hawaiian shirt hung loose off his lean frame, unbuttoned to display the glorious, toned muscles of his chest.
You grinned, handing him the frisbee before picking your sandals back up. The two of you walked together back towards the group. "Thanks. How're you, Jun?"
He pulled you into a brief, yet affectionate side hug. "I'm great! You?"
"Same here." You had been itching for an outing—and dreading the first day back to class—so this would be good for you. “Who's here today?”
“Ah, y'know, the usuals.” He grinned at you then, sending you a teasing wink. “Your lover boy's here for sure. He wouldn't miss this for the world.”
Your skin warmed at the playful comment and you were failing to pretend it was just because it was hot out here. You rolled your eyes. “He is not my lover boy.”
“Based on the fact you knew who I was talking about though,” he drawled with a singsong tone. He let out a loud guffaw at your less than gruntled expression. “You know, he ditched his frat's annual pool party to be here.”
“That's his prerogative—I don't know how that relates to me,” you said with your palms raised up helplessly.
As you turned around to walk in front of him, Yeonjun wrinkled his nose with a grin. “It's cute when you're in denial.”
You scoffed, backpedaling in the opposite direction to where Changbin was hollering for him to hurry up with the frisbee. “Denial, as if.”
“Whatever you say, Cher,” he snickered, then raised his hand up in goodbye to jog across the sands to the game of frisbee.
You huffed a laugh and shook your head. The sun glared in your eyes as you trudged through the sand toward the sounds of your other friends hollering at you from the barbeque and speaker system set up. You flicked your shades back over your eyes, an easy smile coming to your face. “Hi everyone! Smells delicious over here.”
Chan was stationed at the small, portable barbeque with a bottle of beer in his hand. He smiled as you neared, digging his hand into the cooler beside him to pass you a fresh bottle of hard lemonade. “You're right on time, Yn. Dinner is almost ready.”
“I do believe I have impeccable timing,” you mused, thanking him while accepting the bottle. You dropped your sandals to the sand by your feet so you could free your hands and twist the bottle cap off.
“So glad you could make it, Yn!” Lia chimed in from her spot beneath the beach tent. She and Chaeryeong were lying on their stomachs with books splayed out before them for a light beach read.
“Hey guys! Glad I could make it, too—”
“Oh my god, is that Yn Ln?”
Your head whipped around in the direction of the new voice, and you watched as Felix trudged up the sandy bank with his surfboard under his arm, his free hand brushing back his strands of damp hair.
“Felix Lee, you've been chickening out on me all summer.”
He gave a lazy smile back at you as the two of you clasped hands in greeting, his being cold and wet from the waves and yours dry and gritty with sand. “You say that like you haven't been working all summer. Anyways, there's someone who's been dying to see you even more than me.”
You could spot the impish mischief in the blond's eyes from a mile away. “I feel like everyone's been telling me the same thing, but I haven't seen Wooyoung anywhere.”
“First time she says my name, and it's not even to my face,” came a dramatic sigh from somewhere behind you.
The organ in your chest kicked into action and you turned to face the newcomer bounding toward the group from up the hill where the parking lot was. He was clad in a pair of board shorts and a tank top, his skin glowing in the golden afternoon light. “Speak of the Devil,” you jested, poking your tongue into your cheek as you smiled.
Jung Wooyoung peered at you from over the rim of his sunglasses as they slipped down the slope of his nose, then pushed them up to nestle in his locks of dark brown hair. “That nickname's a new one.”
“It's an expression, Jung,” you said, eyebrow arched.
He gave yet another melodramatic sigh. “And she's back to the last name-calling. Would it kill you to try a 'sweetheart’ or a 'darling’ one of these days?”
“I think Yn would rather go into cardiac arrest before calling you by your first name, mate,” Felix gave a warm laugh as he sidled up beside his friend, propping his arm up onto Wooyoung's shoulder.
You lifted your bottle of lemonade in salute. “Lix, you are not wrong. Where've you been anyways, Jung?”
“Did you hear that? She cares about my whereabouts,” he gasped in giddy delight, palm over his mouth as if he and Felix were co conspirators. “I'll have you know, Ln, that Hyunjin and I were scouting for ice cream carts, but he had a phone call to take so I came back here.”
You gave a pleasant hum, knocking back a sip of the spiked lemonade. “An ice cream cart? A man after my own heart.”
“Took you that long to notice?”
You weren't given much time to ponder on that statement before everyone's attention turned to Chan, who announced that it was finally time to eat. By some miraculous force of nature, Hyunjin heard Chan's call, too, and came barreling down the hill toward base camp a few moments later. The frisbee was laid to rest, the books were marked for later, and the bonfire was set ablaze.
With delicious eats and favored company, the lot of you gathered around with one another to have dinner and watch the sun slowly sink into the horizon line. It was the perfect cap to a long and warm summer.
A few hours later, when the sun had only just disappeared from view to leave the sky a lingering shade of hazy orange, you settled beside Lia, Chaeryeong, and Yeonjun on one side of the fire pit while Chan sat on his stool with a ukulele he kept in his backseat. (You were pretty sure that ukulele lived in his backseat at this rate. Once, you saw him buckle the thing with its own seatbelt. To each their own, you supposed.)
“So Wooyoung-ah,” drawled Changbin from his perch beside Hyunjin, as the two of them plucked chips out of the same bag, “did Hongjoong say if movie night was confirmed for next Friday?”
All eyes flickered over to Wooyoung expectantly, and you found yourself meeting his gaze as his own flitted from your eyes and back to Changbin. “I’m pretty sure we're still on for Friday, yeah. All of you better be there,” he said pointedly, his finger drawing over the group.
“What time is it again?” Yeonjun asked as he shoved a marshmallow into his cheek. You smiled to yourself and poked at it, making him send an adorable scowl your way.
Wooyoung pursed his lips. “Ah… it should start around nine o'clock. But make sure you guys text me first so I can let you in. Sometimes the pledges don't care to ask before collecting fees at the door.”
Nods and murmurs of agreement resounded from around the group. Each one of you had your own experience with getting hassled for entry fee at the ATZ fraternity door before Wooyoung or one of his frat brothers came to collect you. You remembered Felix once joking about having all of your names on a list or something.
“Ln, you're coming, aren't you?” Wooyoung nodded at you from across the bonfire. He leaned his elbows onto his knees, his fine features illuminated by the fires.
Your pulse skipped. “Hm? Oh, uhm, yeah I'm pretty sure.”
A smile curled onto his lips. “Good.”
From beside you, Yeonjun lightly smacked the back of his hand against your shoulder. “Hey, you should totally invite that guy from our Econ class—y’know from last quarter—?”
Your eyebrows creased. “Mark?”
“Who's Mark?” The question Wooyoung posed was innocent, but you couldn't help hyperfixate on the way he tilted his head and pressed his lips together.
And for some reason, you wanted to clear this up. “Mark from Econ,” you said. “He, Jun, and I used to sit with each other during class. I dunno if he'd wanna come with…” You somewhat kept in touch with Mark over the summer, but it wasn't like the two of you hung out solo or anything.
Yeonjun shoved another marshmallow into his mouth, but still spoke through it, “Mawk's cool doe. I fink he iked you.”
“Ooh, someone had a crush on you, Yn?” Hyunjin snickered.
You wrinkled your nose at him. “He did not have a crush on me; he was just nice.”
“You should invite him anyway!” Chaeryeong piped up as she leaned over you and Lia to steal a marshmallow from Yeonjun's bag. The owner of said bag watched the stolen marshmallow get swallowed whole with wide eyes. “More the merrier.”
“As long as Woo lets him in,” Felix muttered into his plastic cup so his words were slightly muffled. You didn't hear what he said, but you saw Wooyoung whack him and induce a Felix-standard fairy giggle.
You reached into Yeonjun's marshmallow bag, pretending he wasn't gawking at you with even wider eyes to guilt you into not taking his precious. “Okay, I will ask, but no promises.”
Tumblr media
“Who the fuck is Mark from Econ?”
San barely glanced up from what he was reading and he flipped the page to the tune of Wooyoung's rapid pacing of their shared room. “He's from Econ, I'm guessing.”
Wooyoung stopped in the middle of the open space between their beds, hands braced on their hips. He had just gotten home from the bonfire after having dropped off Hyunjin, Yeonjun, and Changbin at their apartment. When he'd arrived home to the ATZ fraternity on Greek Row, he had not been surprised to find nearly everyone still awake, even at one in the morning.
San, as always, had his nose buried in a bout of nightly reading. He claimed it helped him sleep better, but how could it if he sometimes stayed up until five in the morning because he was so invested?
“That's very helpful, thanks,” Wooyoung deadpanned.
His friend spared him a glance from over the book's edge. Then after one peak at his sorry state, San sighed and stuck an old receipt into the book to mark it for later. “Did they mention a last name? Mark who?”
Wooyoung waved his hand around. “Agh, I dunno. Yeonjun said in the car ride home something about a Mark Lee…”
San blinked, head tilting to the side in thought. “Mark Lee? Like the Mark Lee from NCT down the street?”
For a moment, Wooyoung only stared with furrowed brows, allowing the information presented to process through his brain. When it hit him, it was clear as day. He groaned, dragging his palms down his face as he plopped down on the edge of his bed. “We can't let him into Friday's movie night, Sannie.”
“And why not? He's a nice dude.”
“That is exactly why we can't let him in!” At the way San's face arranged itself into the epitome of confusion, Wooyoung waved his hands around in a manic craze. “If he gets cozy with Yn, my chances are ruined.”
San gave up; he picked up his book again. “Sounds like a skill issue.”
“Movie night? Dark setting? Sharing blankets? Fairy lights overhead?” Wooyoung flopped onto his back and glared at the ceiling. It was the perfect way to get closer to you if he could somehow make it not weird since you were almost always with one of your other friends. This could arguably be his big breakthrough with you; it had all of the makings of a romantic night… as long as everything went right.
He just needed to be absolutely sure that your feelings and his feelings were on the same page.
San sighed, the book flopping onto his lap. “Why can't you just—I don't know—insert yourself?” He made a motion with his arm, his dimples digging into his cheeks as he pressed his lips together in a deadpan, arm jutting straightforward. “Insert. Like… insert.”
Wooyoung craned his head up from his position. “Like—insert?”
“Insert,” San affirmed. “She sits down, and you sit down next to her before anyone else can. Easy.”
“So you want me to be a parasite?”
San scoffed and fixed Wooyoung with a pointed look. “If you're not going to tell her to her face that you like her—”
“Parasitism, it is!”
As the days grew closer to the ATZ frat's annual fall movie night, you had to admit that you might have been severely procrastinating on extending an invitation to Mark. Mark was, by all counts, a nice guy. He was a good guy, in fact. But it wasn't like the two of you were buddy-buddy with each other, as Yeonjun made it sound like to everyone else. It was the equivalent of your mom asking you to invite your neighbor to your birthday party—they were nice enough, but you weren't close enough to ensure this wouldn't be awkward.
Plus, you couldn't get this sticky feeling out of the back of your mind about Yeonjun claiming Mark liked you. There was no problem, per se, with a guy liking you. It was just that… you weren't interested in him like that. You also didn't want other people thinking that you were interested in him either, and getting the wrong idea.
You tried to convince yourself that you weren't interested in anyone at the moment, but you knew, deep in your heart of hearts, that wasn't true. You just didn't want to admit it. (A tragedy, indeed.)
When the first Friday night of the university term rolled around, you and your friends pulled up outside the ATZ frat house without Mark Lee. You'd admitted to them that it was awkward, so the subject was easily brushed away. There was nothing they could do about it now, anyway.
When they strolled up to the entryway, Yeonjun told the pledges at the front that they were with Wooyoung. As per protocol, they forced you all to wait outside until Wooyoung could get there from wherever he was within the house. You could hear the music thumping from the backyard, along with chatter and laughter, all from people waiting for the movie night to start.
You shivered as you hugged your arms around your body, a cool autumn breeze blowing past. “Damn, I should've brought a jacket,” you laughed, hopping around from foot to foot to stay warm. Or maybe you should've worn a sweater rather than a T-shirt over your pajama shorts.
Lia perked up. “Oh! I think I have o—”
Felix's eyes widened as he interjected, “No, you don't!”
Everyone passed Felix a strange look, especially you and Lia. Curiously, you watched as Felix seemingly communicated with Lia in silent, urgent facial expressions before smiling at you like his regular, ray-of-sunshine self.
You blinked. What in the world…?
Lia turned back toward you with an apologetic wince on her face. “I think I took my jacket out of the backseat before I left the house. Sorry, Yn.”
“Oh, that's okay,” you assured her. “I'll, uh, probably steal Chan's blanket or something once we get settled.”
Wooyoung appeared at the door moments later, a lollipop stick between his teeth and a cozy dark blue hoodie on his frame. Like many others here tonight, he was in a pair of pajama pants and fluffy slippers. “Hey guys! Come on in.”
Thankful for the excellent timing, you all slipped inside the front doors of the frat to get to the backyard. The movie night was usually held in the backyard space just because it could hold more people. The movie was then projected against the back of the house with an old projector that was apparently passed down from generation to generation of the frat. There was oftentimes a table to the side that was stocked with snacks and booze for all those attending.
Wooyoung led the group of you out into the backyard, specifically to a spot with a decent view, already laid out with picnic blankets and regular blankets. “Tada!” He exclaimed with jazz hands, catching the amused gaze of others nearby. “I reserved a spot for all of us!”
“Without permission!” Somebody—you recognized Yunho's teasing grin from over by the snack table—yelled.
“Seonghwa hyung said I could!” Wooyoung shot back in proper little sibling fashion. He stuck one of his hands into his pockets and took his lollipop out. “Anyways, help yourselves!”
“This is really cool of you, dude,” Changbin said as he bumped Wooyoung's fist and settled on one corner of the setup.
Chan hobbled over toward Changbin. “Yeah, man. We really appreciate it.”
You murmured your own thanks to Wooyoung as you passed by him to decide on where to sit.
His eyes flickered over your form, noting the way you used your palms to keep your arms warm. “Hey, Ln.”
“Jung,” you mused back.
“You didn't bring a jacket?” He asked incredulously. “It's gonna get colder tonight.”
Sheepishness washed over you and you scratched your head with an embarrassed smile. “I'll be fine under the blankets.”
He shook his head, dissatisfaction clear on his face, as he stuck his lollipop back into his mouth and began shouldering off his jacket.
Your eyes widened when you realized what he was doing. “Hey, wait—I’ll be fine—”
Wooyoung held out the jacket to you, eyebrows lifting in silent communication. 'Put it on.’
You pursed your lips and considered it for a moment. You knew that he was right and it was going to get colder later tonight. You could only bring the blanket up so far… Slowly, you slipped into it with his help, and your upper body was immediately grateful for the warmth.
Wooyoung spun you around to face him again, swiftly reaching for the zipper at the bottom to zip you up.
“Oh, you don't have to—” You shut up with one look from him. You could feel your skin begin to warm, not just because of the residual heat from Wooyoung's body heat on the jacket. You weren't exactly used to this, but you also weren't going to complain. This article of clothing smelled sinfully good—was that his cologne or how he always smelled?
When you were all zipped up, his lips pressed into a content smile. “I'm gonna go grab another jacket. I'll be right back,” he said, throwing a thumb back in the direction of the house.
Based on the fact he was only wearing a tank top underneath the jacket you now wore, you nodded vigorously. “Yeah, of course,” you stammered. “Thanks.”
His smile widened. “No problem, Yn. You look good in it.”
You didn't get another word in because he was darting across the backyard and disappearing inside the house before you could. You were sure you looked as flustered as you felt, and you slowly sank onto the blanket set up beside Chaeryeong and Lia.
From down the line, you could feel your friends’ eyes and wagging brows.
“Don't say anything,” you said to them, pulling your knees to your chest and pretending you weren't in heaven from how nice the jacket felt and smelled. (Oh god, were you being weird about this?)
A snort from Hyunjin.
Felix giggled. “Not a single word.”
By the time Wooyoung returned, Hongjoong was beginning to fire up the movie of choice tonight (Parasite—how fitting) and the backyard had been substantially populated.
Though there was no Mark Lee tonight to be a parasite about, Wooyoung settled on the other side of Chaeryeong who was right beside you. There was a bucket of popcorn per every three or so of you. You dipped into the bucket closest to you, which was the one in front of Chaeryeong.
At some point during the movie, Chaeryeong raised her head from where she was resting against your shoulder and searched the area around you. “Hey,” she whispered to you, “my friend from the Delta sorority is over there and I'm gonna go say hi.”
You nodded. “Sounds good.”
As she clambered to her feet, you met Wooyoung's eyes from her other side. He had tugged his own hood over his head, so only his bangs hung out of it. He nodded toward Chaeryeong in question: ‘Where’s she going?’
“Just a friend,” you answered quietly.
From your other side, you heard Lia make a small gasping sound. “Ooh, I'm gonna say hi, too!”
When both of them had cleared out, you craned your head around to see if you recognized the Delta they went to greet. You did not, and so you stayed put.
It didn't take long for you to realize that you were pretty sure Lia and Chaeryeong were over there for much more than a hello, which was completely fine—you were simply going to hog all of their blanket space—
A throat cleared on your left side, and you watched Wooyoung take the shared popcorn bucket and scoot over into where Chaeryeong was sitting next to you. “So we can reach easier,” he reasoned, shoveling a handful of buttered kernels into his mouth.
You couldn't and didn't argue with that. Though, you were unsure of how fast your heart was beating now that you and he were shoulder to shoulder, leg to leg.
But you turned your attention back to the movie because obviously there was nothing wrong with this. There was absolutely nothing about sitting this close to Wooyoung that was making you flustered—
You jolted when your hand touched his in the popcorn bucket, both of you having blindly reached in.
Your eyes met in the dark again, and you hoped he couldn't see just how affected you were by the touch. “Sorry,” you whispered, withdrawing your hand swiftly.
“No, it's okay,” he murmured back, a small lift in the corner of his lips. “Nothing to be sorry about.”
When the movie reached its inevitable conclusion, it was nearing midnight. Though the projector was turned off, there were plenty of people still lingering to chat and drink. You wiped your hands on a napkin and smeared on a dollop of hand sanitizer that Chan usually kept in his pocket. (The crazy man was always prepared.)
Lia and Chaeryeong eventually came back to the group, but you and Wooyoung scooted over so they could sit next to each other on your right. Your arm was still pressed to his arm, and you still kept his jacket on. It had done a brilliant job at keeping you warm tonight; you were dreading parting with it.
“Can we help you guys clean up or anything?” You asked him as you passed him Chan's bottle of hand sanitizer to use.
He hummed, “Uh, I think we should be okay. We'll probably just end up leaving half of it out to clean up in the morning anyway.”
You nodded, taking the hand sanitizer back from him so you could pass it down the assembly line to Chan.
“Oh, by the way,” Wooyoung piped up. “Whatever happened to that Mark guy you were gonna invite?”
You paused, cupping the back of your neck. “Ah… yeah, I didn't actually invite him,” you admitted. “I just thought it would be awkward 'cause we're not really that close.”
He bobbed his head in understanding. “I see, I see. So what Yeonjun said about him…?”
“Your first mistake was listening to Yeonjun.”
Two people down, you heard a squawk of indignation. “Hey! I heard that!”
A chuckle rang out amongst your group. Changbin and Chan's end of the blanket mass suddenly began standing up, the former of which was propping up a half-conscious Felix, citing needs to get the blond to bed. The rest of you wholeheartedly agreed and joined them, empty popcorn buckets in hand to deposit back at the snack table.
As soon as your bare legs hit the cold night air, you gazed forlornly at the blanket you'd been using before. “Jung, let me give you back your jacket,” you said, catching his attention before he wandered off.
But instead of waiting for you to take off the garment, he placed a hand over yours to stop you from unzipping it. “Keep it,” he said.
“Keep it?” You parroted back dumbly.
He broke into a smile. “Yeah, it'll keep you warm until you get home.”
For a moment, you could only stare. Was he always this pretty? Or was it just the fairy lights that were turned on overhead? You swallowed, your lips curling into a small smile back. “Oh okay—thanks. I'll get it back to you as soon as possible.”
“Whatever you say,” he chuckled and reached over to pat your head. The action made a jolt of warmth run down your spine from your head to your toes. Maybe you were just tired.
Tumblr media
Saturday night, you found yourself jostling around in the crowd of all the other late night snackers at the fast food chain a few blocks from the stadium. The first college football game of the season had just ended, and all of your friends who had gone agreed to get a bite to eat afterward. It seemed, however, that nearly everyone else at the game had the same idea.
The establishment was packed to the brim, at least the ordering area was. Your friends had gone outside to score one of the picnic benches for your group, while you, Changbin, and Felix were stuck here to order. (It was all because the three of you sorely lost a game of rock, paper, scissors, and now your wallet would pay, quite literally.) Servers behind the counter hollered out order numbers, and plastic trays of burgers, fries, milkshakes, and grease passed hands.
Your mouth was already watering; cheering and screaming for three hours was a good way to make yourself famished. “Do we have everyone's orders?” You asked your friends, sticking your head in the open space between their shoulders.
Changbin flashed you the group text. “If it's not here, they're starving.”
“Amen to that,” Felix grunted, shaking his bangs out of his eyes and scrolling through his social media fees. “I think Hyunjin and Yeonjun purposely ordered the triple cheeseburger and loaded fries to break our banks.”
“We need to watch that WikiHow video on winning rock, paper, scissors,” you said. The three of you sighed altogether—next time, you wouldn't rely on just luck to get you through something so high stakes.
“You guys look like we just lost the actual game,” mused a familiar voice behind you.
Wooyoung appeared at your side, elbow propped onto your shoulder, accompanied by a couple of his frat brothers, San and Jongho. Wooyoung had a university branded cap over his head with a pair of cherry red heart glasses seated up on the bill, a bit of school spirit in the form of black and red. “I see you lost rock, paper, scissors, Ln.”
You scowled. Of course he knew how you ended up here. After all, he was subjected to it whenever he hung out with your group of friends. “Do you wanna take over my share of the bill, Jung?”
“Do I get something in return?”
“I don't know, your jacket?”
He grinned. “Oh, so you weren't planning on just giving it back to me?”
“I will gladly keep it if you don't want it. She's in the dryer right now,” you shot back. At some point, your heart had kicked up in your chest again, perhaps at the proximity of Wooyoung to you. There wasn't much space in here as it was.
The line scooted up about two centimeters, and Wooyoung's eyebrows shot up in amusement. “You’re washing it after wearing it once? Or maybe you've been wearing it for the past twelve hours and you're just not telling me.”
You ignored the warmth creeping up your neck. “It's called being courteous.”
“It's called wasting water,” he teased, the elbow on your shoulder shifting to an arm slung around both of your shoulders.
“Oh please. It's being washed with the rest of my clothes!” You exclaimed in your defense as you grew more flustered.
Something giddy lit up on his face as the group of you moved up closer to the register. “So that jacket's gonna smell like you? I might not ever wash it again, Ln.”
It was an unholy amount of time later that you, your friends, and the frat trio finally made it out of the stuffy fast food restaurant with your massive order. Instead of a picnic bench, however, it seemed that both your friends and Wooyoung's were exiled to the curb by the street. The sight was rather laughable—around fifteen or so people seated on the firelane like a line of abandoned ducklings.
Everyone practically swarmed the to-go bags that you and your friends deposited in the grass. You picked up one of the cartons of fries for yourself, standing just outside the circle that had formed.
Mingi was recalling one of the plays from tonight's game with vivid acting when you heard your name being called from down the road.
Curious, your eyes tracked the sound, only to see a group of fraternity guys making their way towards you from the direction of Greek Row. Among them, it was Mark Lee that you recognized first in a red bomber jacket and backwards cap. His cheeks were flushed and eyes twinkled like a pair of diamond earrings.
“YN LN! IS THAT YOU?” He giggled, and you just knew that the poor guy was drunk off his face.
One of his friends with a bunny-looking face grappled onto his arm with a groan. “Sorry! He was double-dared to take one too many shots by this bastard,” he said when they neared and cut a glare to one of the tall boys behind him. Said tall boy whistled, pretending not to hear him.
Yunho cupped his hands around his mouth and gave a loud holler. “Aye, N-City! Jungwoo, where the hell have you been, man?"
“It’s called the engineering program, bro,” the one you assumed to be Jungwoo grumbled. He hobbled over to where Yunho was seated in the circle and knocked his fist against the latter's. “Oh my god, can I steal a fry? That line over there looks awful.”
Mingi lifted his tray of fries up for Jungwoo to pluck a few.
Mark, with the supervision of his bunny friend, scuttled over toward you. “Fries sound so good, dude. Like bro. BRO. I am so hungry.” He giggled again as you extended your fries out to him in amusement. “Thanks, Yn. Do I still owe you for coffee that one time?” He slurred, shoving the slices of potato into his mouth.
You chuckled, offering his friend some fries, but was quietly rejected. “Coffee? That was like, once, Mark. Don't worry about it.”
“I know, but like—like, I keep thinking about it, y'know,” he confessed. In the streetlight, you could see his cherry red cheekbones… almost the color of Wooyoung's glas—what. Where did that thought come from?
Absent-mindedly, your eyes flickered across the circle to where you knew Wooyoung was seated with his brothers. To your surprise, you found him already staring your way.
“—it’d be cool to get coffee again sometime, and be friends! I almost took the next econ class in the series 'cause of you.”
“Oh, really?” You asked, forcing yourself back to the people in front of you and being unable to suppress a giggle. You were touched by the sentiment, and frankly, relieved to hear that you and he were pretty much on the same page about being friends. “The next class in the series is kind of ass though, so I'm glad you aren't gonna have to suffer through it.”
“Aw, but we're all in this together!” He chirped.
His friend gave Mark a small pat on his arm. “We should get a move on before the crowds get worse.”
Mark's eyes widened and he gasped. “You're right, hyung!”
“See you, guys,” you said with a small wave. The two boys threw a similarly warm goodbye to you as they slipped past you and toward the jam-packed fast food joint you had braved just earlier.
Across the wide social circle, Wooyoung couldn't hear exactly what yours and Mark's conversation entailed because of all the chatter. Sue him for being caught staring at you, but he couldn't keep his eyes off you, as per usual. There was a familiar pang in his chest as he watched you bid Mark and Doyoung from the NCT fraternity goodbye, and he mindlessly finished off the tray of fries in front of him.
Although you technically implied to him last night that there was nothing between you and Mark, there was undoubtedly a part of him that still felt jittery at the thought.
There was a nudge against his arm. “Glare even harder, and Mark might wake up with a pair of holes in the back of his head.”
Wooyoung moved his scowl to San beside him, a snicker falling from his best friend's mouth. “I'm not glaring,” Wooyoung protested and reached for a napkin in the middle of the circle.
“Oh, right,” San drawled, “you're staring at Yn.”
“Yes, and?” He shot back. “What'd'you think they were talking about?” He could practically hear the sound of your giggles in his ears after Mark said something. Wooyoung didn't like the way that made his stomach churn—the fact that this other guy was making you laugh. Did he make you laugh like that? Did you look that radiant when you were with him? God, why did you have to be so gobsmackingly gorgeou—
San considered him for a moment as he chewed on the bite of his burger. “Why don't you ask her yourself?” He muttered with a vague gesture of his aioli-covered fingers, “I dunno, go offer to drive her home or something.”
“That's the first good idea I've heard all night.” Wooyoung hopped to his feet, a misshapen plan (of sorts) manifesting in his head. Hopefully it would work out better than the movie night one. (But by some metrics, he could consider movie night a success…)
San exhaled under his breath as his friend went to go find a trash can first. “Can't believe he actually went with that,” he said with a shake of his head. He could only hope now that his friend would finally put himself out of his misery.
Having finished your post-game snack, drowsiness was slowly seeping into your joints and the corners of your eyes. It was bound to be nearing midnight at this time, and with all of the excitement within the past two days, you were about ready to head back.
You swept your eyes over the group to gauge if any of your other friends looked about ready to go home, too, when you felt someone tap your shoulder.
“Can I give you a lift home?” Wooyoung asked as he stood there, cap and glasses hanging from his hand while the other carded through his hair.
Well. “It's like you read my mind, Jung,” you mused. “Do you and your brothers not usually carpool though?”
“Eh, Hongjoong hyung brought the minivan.”
You didn't know why that comment made you laugh—perhaps it was the image of a bunch of ATZ frat members shoved into a soccer mom minivan with Hongjoong at its helm—but a laugh most definitely tumbled from your lips. The sound and sight reflected in Wooyoung's expression, a boyish grin coming to his face and reaching his eyes. “Alright, fine. As long as by taking me home, you aren't abandoning them on the streets.”
The two of you began walking side by side to where he would lead you back toward wherever his car was parked. “Nah,” he reassured you with a shake of his head. He took his cherry heart glasses and slid them up into his hair. “A nice walk home might keep them humble, y'know?”
“And who's to say you don't need humbling, Jung?” You joked.
A smirk curled up on his mouth like a cat's tail. “What? Are you going to humble me, Ln?”
You gave a nonchalant shrug to cover up the rapid pulse hammering away in your veins. “I could finesse your keys, you never know.”
He motioned to the left where his sedan was parked along the side of the street. “I'll have you know that you already have one of my keys,” he said as he rounded his car to reach the driver's seat.
You crinkled your brows together, your hand lingering on the door to the passenger's seat as he fished his keys out to unlock the car. “What key?”
“The key to my heart,” he winked, smile widening.
You glanced away, tongue jamming into your cheek to suppress your flustered smile, but by the sounds of Wooyoung's glee from the other side of the car, you were unsuccessful. “You tell that to all the girls?” You finally said when the car chirped and you slipped into the passenger's seat.
Your car doors slammed in tandem.
“Nope, that one's just for you,” he said, tossing his hat in the back and starting the engine.
The fluttery feeling in your chest was making it difficult for you to sit still. If you were so enraptured by his scent clinging to the fabric of his jacket, then his car must have been level two. Your body melted into the car seat, and you turned your head to watch the world pass through the window with a content expression on your face.
There had been something gnawing at you for a while now. You knew Wooyoung boasted a rather flirty personality; he had always been pretty outgoing and teasing ever since you met. There were so many signs that pointed to him liking you more than just a friend, but you didn't want to jump to conclusions. (Denial? What was that?)
Was this different from when Yeonjun suggested that Mark liked you? Well, yes. This was different because you… it was different because this was Wooyoung, not Mark. It was different because you were suddenly marinating on the idea of him liking you, and not dismissing it like you had with Mark.
You were growing giddy at the idea, in fact. And maybe that made you nervous.
A thought appeared in your head. “Oh, I guess it's a good thing you're taking me home, because now I can give you back your jacket.” For a moment, you deeply considered casually “forgetting” to return the garment, but your integrity won out.
You saw him glance over at you before returning his eyes to the road. “Right, right. Good idea,” he murmured. He ran his teeth over his bottom lip then. “Hey, uhm, weird question.”
“Uh oh,” you joked.
He chuckled. “Yah, it's not an 'uh oh!’ I was just wondering what Mark came to talk to you about.”
Oh. That wasn't exactly what you had in mind when he said he had a weird question.
Your eyes flickered over to him for a second. “You seem awfully interested in me and Mark,” you drawled, uncertain of where this was going.
“I mean—I know you said last night that you guys aren't that close,” he supplemented, tongue swiping over his lip as he turned the corner onto your street, “but he seemed pretty friendly tonight.”
“Mark’s always friendly,” you pointed out. Part of it was just so you could prod a little and figure out why Wooyoung was pursuing this.
“You're not wrong.”
Your head tilted to the side. “So?”
“So?”
You let out a small laugh. “Hey, Jung, what's going on? You're usually not so antsy about these things, especially not with me.” You chewed on the inside of your cheek and your fingers drummed mindlessly against your thigh in anticipation.
Wooyoung glanced over at you again, his lips pressing together. He was entering your apartment complex street now and carefully pulled up along the curb outside. “I would argue that it's the complete opposite.”
“Huh?”
“You can't possibly think that this whole time I haven't been head over heels for you?” He blurted.
Even if the car had stopped, your heart rate most definitely hadn't.
At your loss for words, he killed the engine. “Like, you think I stare at you for fun? No, actually, I stare at you because I'm literally just so attracted to you, it's survival.”
You sucked in a breath. “Jung…”
“And you know, I try to be as obvious as I can, but maybe I'm not? And I'm—I’m trying to be as loud about my feelings as possible,” he continued on, adding in an accompaniment of sweeping hand gestures. “Without actually admitting to my feelings, as stupid as it sounds.”
“Jung. Jung, wait—”
“This wasn't supposed to turn into a ramble, but what I'm trying to say is—”
“Wooyoung.”
He screeched to a halt, eyes widened as if you'd just grown two heads.
Oh, you were so endeared by this man. In this snapshot of time, there was nothing other than utter adoration in your heart for him. “You were probably being very loud, but I'm also hard of hearing sometimes.”
“Extremely,” he agreed with his mouth pressed into a line.
“Hey!”
He broke into a grin that was soft at the corners and tender at the eyes. “Just so you know, I don't treat anyone else like you. You're probably the only person I will ever address by their last name as a term of endearment.”
You laughed, skin warming to the touch. “I'll admit—same here.” A jolt of electricity warmed down your spine at the admission.
“I can't persuade you to even try a 'honey’ or a ‘baby?’ Not even a 'sweetie pie?’”
You rolled your eyes playfully. “Maybe you'll unlock some of them as time goes on. It has to feel right.”
He leaned forward onto the center console, a small, happy sigh falling from his mouth. “Okay,” he said quietly. “I can deal with that.”
In reply, you twisted around in your seat to face him, your head leaned against the car seat. “Just so we're clear though…”
“I like you—I do.”
“Good.” Your lips curled into a smile. “I like you, too.”
In the low light of the car, the sky darkened and the only light coming from the streetlight a few cars away, you and Wooyoung shared a soft moment together. The thing that had been needling at the back of your mind was finally subsiding.
Swallowing, you reached forward to brush a strand of hair out of his eyes, and his eyes seemed to shudder. “Yeonjun once called you my lover boy.”
“I'm pretty sure all of our friends knew how I felt,” he snorted.
You made a small gesture with your shoulder, wincing. “Except for me?”
“Except for you,” he sighed jokingly. “Utter pain. But you know what?”
“What's that?”
“I think I like being your lover boy.”
You slowly nodded. “It has a nice ring to it.” You couldn't help another smile as you rolled it over and over in your mind. Your lover boy, your lover boy, your lover boy… “My lover boy.”
Wooyoung pressed his palms together like he was praying, his hands touching his lips. “Give me the strength—I can't not kiss you after hearing that come out of your mouth.”
Your heart gave an aggressive palpitation. “Well… I wouldn't be opposed.”
“Hey, lover girl,” he said, mouth split open with a pretty grin, “can I kiss you?”
How could you refuse?
He leaned forward and cradled one side of your face with one hand so he could press his lips against your own. If there was any doubt left in your mind about how you felt for him, it was all dashed away once he kissed you.
When your eyes fluttered open, you met his gaze.
“I think,” he murmured, thumb drawing over your bottom lip, “I just fell for you all over again.
God, how could you compete with that line? You ducked your head, unabashedly flustered. He only cooed at your reaction and came forward to smack a long kiss to your cheek.
When it was determined that you would finally head up to your apartment for the evening, you reluctantly clambered out of his vehicle. He rolled down his window so he could drape himself out of it like a damsel in a tower, his eyes shaped like hearts.
“Is it safe to say that I can keep your jacket?” You jested, stopping in front of his window.
He huffed a laugh. “You know, I thought you'd never ask. But you'll have to trade me for something of yours.”
“Deal, Jung.” You were certain you could think of something.

Hi there! Hope you’re having a good day mama spider. Just dropping by to ask for some info on an addition to a post about Judaism you made. I chose to ask you and not op because i’ve sent you an ask before and know that you answer them. So real quick, why did you type out G-d rather than God or god? Does it have something to do with Judaism? Is it just for the faithful to follow and not goyim? As an atheist who was formerly Catholic i just wanna learn more and be respectful of others’ religions whenever i can. I know next to nothing about Judaism, even though they’re a good portion of my county’s population. Hope this ask isn’t insensitive in any way, and thanks for taking the time to read this <3
This isn't insensitive to ask. It's actually a great question, and I'm glad that you asked if you're curious.
Since those articles cover your asks pretty well, I'm gonna give you some free bits of info to help your quest for respectfulness, which is pretty rad, btw: we don't really use phrases like "the faithful" bc Judaism doesn't require faith in G-d. There is no conflict between Judaism and atheism & there are a lot of Jewish atheists and agnostics. Judaism is an ethnoreligion and a people in a way that a lot of religions aren't, and in fact, the symbolism for one of my favorite holidays emphasizes that we are not complete without all kinds of Jews:
The functions of the four species are defined by both their smell and taste, or lack thereof, along with some interesting imagery from the Midrash (Vayikra Rabbah 30:12): The etrog has both taste and smell, representing people who both perform good deeds and have Torah (knowledge). The lulav has taste but no smell, representing those who do not use their knowledge to perform good deeds. The hadass (myrtle) has smell but no taste, representing those who perform good deeds but lack the knowledge to excel at them. The aravah (willow) has no taste and no smell, representing those who lack both.
"Good deeds" here doesn't just mean "being nice to your neighbors" but refers directly to performing mitzvot/mitzvahs, the 613 commandments that observant Jews observe to varying levels of specificity and intensity.
It's not offensive to use a phrase like "the faithful," just isn't ... correct, you know? Instead, you'd just say Jews or Jewish people. If you're trying to refer specifically to Jews who are religious or believe in G-d... there isn't exactly a phrase for that, I guess you'd say "observant," because there are a lot of Jews who are observant but also atheists, since observant Jews may be observing mitzvaot for any number of reasons that have nothing to do with belief in the existence of G-d.
Anyway, there you go, with some bonus info. As always, I don't speak for everybody, 2 Jews 3 Opinions, etc.

The Half Sisters

Paring:Nerd!G!P!Yeji x reader x Cheerleader!G!P!Girlfriend!Yuna
Genre:Smut
Summary: You were initially going to Yuna's house to study, but that plan fell through.
More: Masterlist
A/n: Oh my God! It's my birthday. Anyway, my next posts will be about the stuff that was requested.
You waltz into Yuna's house, a spring in your step, ready to settle in for some quality study time with your cheerleader captain girlfriend. The familiar smell of Yuna's mom's homemade lasagna fills the air, mingling with the scent of her dad's aftershave. You head straight for the dining room to drop your bag, and that's when you hear it: footsteps, padding softly across the kitchen floor. Instinctively, you assume it's one of Yuna's parents, and you're about to call out a cheery "hey" when you realize something's off. The footsteps are too light, too feminine. Curiosity gets the better of you, and you sneak a peek around the corner.
There she is, bending over in the fridge, her lithe figure clad only in a pair of panties and a sports bra. Her glasses reflect the light of the kitchen, casting a triangular shadow across her cleavage. You're momentarily frozen, unable to believe your eyes, before it dawns on you: this must be Yuna's older half-sister, Yeji. She looks up, noticing you for the first time, and her face flushes a deep shade of crimson. "Oh! You must be Y/n, Yuna's girlfriend," she says, her voice slightly higher-pitched than you expected.
"Um, yeah… I am," you manage to squeak out. Yeji straightens up and walks over to the table, her movements graceful and fluid. "I'm Yeji, Yuna's half-sister. I didn't realize she had such a good-looking girlfriend. She's always been so lucky." Her compliment catches you off guard, and you can feel your cheeks burning now. "So, uh, what brings you here today?"
"Oh, just studying," you say, gesturing to Yuna's math textbook on the table. "We've got a big test tomorrow." Yeji nods in understanding and takes a seat across from you. "So, you two are really serious about your studies, then?" she asks, a playful glint in her eye.
"Oh, you know Yuna," you say with a grin. "She's pretty dedicated." Yeji smiles back at you, and for a brief moment, you can't help but notice how similar their features are. It's almost eerie. "And how about you? What do you study?"
Yeji shrugs, her movements graceful as ever. "I'm in my last year of law school, so I'm pretty busy with that. But I try to stay on top of things, you know?" She leans forward, resting her elbows on the table, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of cleavage. "So, how long have you two been together?"
You can feel your heart racing as you look into her beautiful eyes. You take a deep breath, trying to steady your nerves. "Um, well, we've been seeing each other for about six months now. It's been really great." You can't help but glance down at her crotch area, noticing that her panties are white with a thin blue stripe running down the side. There's an even more noticeable bulge there than before…
Yeji smiles at your comment, clearly pleased. "That's nice to hear. I'm glad you two are happy together." She leans in closer, her voice dropping to a seductive whisper. "But I bet I could make you even happier, right?" Her hand slowly begins to slide up and down your thigh under the table, making your heart race even faster.
You try to focus on your conversation, but it's becoming increasingly difficult as her touch becomes more bold. When she reaches the hem of your skirt and feels the fabric bunched up against your aching cunt, she grins wickedly and slips her hand inside. Your breath catches in your throat as she begins to rub your clit through your panties, her long fingers expertly massaging your wet cunt.
You feel your control slipping away, and as she continues to tease you, you can't help but moan loudly. Your hips begin to rock involuntarily against her hand, seeking more contact. Yeji leans in closer, her lips brushing against your ear. "Do you want more?" she whispers. "Do you want me to help you study?"
The thought of being alone with her fills you with desire, and you nod eagerly. "Yes, please."
Yeji grins, taking your hand in hers and leading you into her bedroom. The room is dimly lit, the only light filtering in from the hallway. She closes the door behind you and pushes you gently towards her bed. "Lie down and relax," she whispers, her voice thick with desire.
As you lie down, Yeji kneels beside the bed, her eyes trailing down your body. Her hand finds its way to your panties, slowly pulling them down your legs. You're left completely exposed in front of her, and the anticipation is almost unbearable.
She leans in, kissing your inner thigh before moving higher, her lips brushing against your sensitive skin. Her tongue flicks out, teasing your clit as her fingers explore your wet folds. You arch your back, moaning loudly as pleasure washes over you.
Yeji grins, watching you squirm beneath her touch. "You like that, don't you?" she breathes, her voice husky. "You like feeling me touch you."
Your answer comes in the form of a moan as she presses two fingers deeper into your wetness. She curls them, searching for your G-spot, and you arch your back off the bed, gasping. "That's it," she whispers, leaning in to kiss your neck. "Let me make you feel good."
Her fingers move in a rhythmic pattern, circling your clit as she continues to play with your entrance. You're so close, the pleasure building inside you, making it hard to think about anything but the way she feels against your skin.
As you moan, your hips begin to move in time with her fingers, seeking more contact. You feel yourself getting closer, the pleasure building inside you, and you arch your back off the bed, gasping. "I'm going to cum," you manage to choke out.
Yeji grins, leaning down to kiss you as you both feel the tension building. "Cum for me, baby," she whispers, her voice low and husky. "Let it out."
You feel your body tensing as you approach the edge, the pleasure coursing through you. You arch your back, crying out as you feel your muscles contract, your inner walls clenching around nothing as your orgasm crashes over you in a wave of intense release. Your body shudders, your vision blurs, and you let out a long, drawn-out moan as pleasure washes over you.
Yeji's fingers never stop moving, even as you come apart beneath her touch. She leans in, kissing you deeply, her tongue tracing the shape of your lips as your hips continue to move in rhythm with her fingers. When you finally begin to steady, she pulls her fingers away, licking them clean as she watches you, your chest still heaving.
Her hand finds its way back to your thigh, gently rubbing the sensitive skin there as she smiles at you. "You feel so good," she whispers, her voice low and sultry. "I could do this forever."
You feel a surge of heat in your core at her words, and you arch your back, pressing yourself further into the bed beneath her. "Do it," you breathe, your voice barely more than a whisper. "Please."
Yeji grins, and before you know it, she's positioning herself between your legs. The head of her cock nudges against your entrance, and you gasp as she pushes inside you. It's even tighter than before, but she doesn't slow down, thrusting deeper and deeper, her muscles flexing with each stroke.
She reaches down, her fingers curling around your clit, and begins to rub in a tight circle. "That's it, baby," she whispers, her breath hot against your ear. "Let it feel good."
The sensation is almost too much to bear, and you arch your back, moaning loudly. You feel so full of her, so stretched and sore in the best possible way. You try to move with her, to meet her thrusts, but she's too strong, too experienced. She's in complete control, and you can't help but surrender to her touch.
As you feel yourself building toward another orgasm, you glance over at Yeji, watching her as she watches you. Her eyes are dark and intense, her expression unreadable. But then, suddenly, she grins. "That's it, baby," she whispers, her voice husky. "Let it out."
And with that, she thrusts deeper, harder, faster, pushing you over the edge. You cry out, your body convulsing as pleasure washes over you in waves. Your inner muscles clench tight around Yeji's cock, milking her as you cum, and she growls, her hips bucking wildly.
It's almost too much. Your body feels like it's on fire, your mind reeling from the sensations. But somehow, it's perfect. As you come down from your high, you glance over at Yeji, who is just as sweaty and flushed as you are. Her eyes meet yours, and there's a look in them that you've never seen before. It's a mix of pride, lust, and something else you can't quite place.
You turn your attention to Yuna, who stands there, half naked and anger, her cock still hard against her stomach. You can't help but wonder what she must be thinking, seeing the two of you together like this. You wish you could ask her, but the words get caught in your throat.
Yuna shoves past you, throwing herself onto the bed. Her breath is ragged, her eyes darting between the two of you. "I can't believe you'd do this to me, Yeji," she spits. "You promised me."
Yeji chuckles, a cruel sound that makes your heart ache. "Oh, Yuna, you know I'm always the better fucker. It was easy." She watches you, a knowing glint in her eye. "But go ahead, be mad. It only makes it hotter."
You can't help but feel the heat in your cheeks as you lie there, your body still sore from the intense fucking you've just endured. You glance over at Yuna, wishing you could understand what she's feeling right now. Her eyes dart between the two of you, her expression a mix of anger and… something else. Longing, maybe.
Yeji chuckles again, her hand trailing down your chest and over your stomach. "Come on, Yuna, don't be such a sore loser. We all knew you couldn't keep up with me." She leans in close, her breath hot against your ear. "Besides, I think you liked it just as much as she did."
As Yeji's words sink in, you glance over at Yuna, whose face has turned an even deeper shade of red. Her eyes flick between the two of you, a mixture of anger and desire dancing in their depths. You can't help but feel a stirring in your loins as you watch her struggle with the conflicting emotions.
Yeji chuckles, her hand still tracing lazy circles on your hip. "See, Yuna? I told you she'd enjoy it. And look at her now, wanting more." She leans in closer, her lips brushing against your ear. "Why don't you give her what she wants, Yuna? Let her feel you inside."
As Yuna hesitates, you feel a surge of desire welling up inside you. You reach out, taking Yuna's cock in your hand and guiding it towards your opening. Cunt still slick from your earlier encounter, and she slides easily inside you. Her eyes meet yours as she begins to thrust, the familiar feeling of her inside you making you shudder with pleasure.
Yeji watches the two of you, a predatory grin playing across her lips. She straddles your chest, her weight pinning you to the bed as she lines up her cock with your mouth. With a sharp thrust, she sinks into your throat, choking you with the thickness of her arousal. Your eyes water, but you don't resist as she begins to fuck your face, her hips slapping against your cheeks in rhythm.
Yuna steps closer, her hand tracing over your stomach, teasing at the sensitive flesh beneath your navel. She leans in, her lips brushing against your ear. "You're so beautiful like this," she whispers. "So full of Yeji's cum." Her fingers slide lower, teasing at the hairs around your entrance.
The feel of her touch sends a shiver through you, and you arch your hips into her touch. She smiles, her hand finding its way between your legs. Her fingers dance over your clit, and you let out a moan, your body tensing as the pleasure washes over you.
Yeji watches you with a satisfied grin, her hips still moving in time with the rhythm of your lover's touch. "Oh, you like that, Yuna?" she teases, her voice husky with desire. "You like making her feel good?"
As if in response, Yuna's hand presses more firmly against your clit, her fingers dancing faster. You arch your back, moaning loudly on Yeji's cock as the pleasure builds inside you.
"That's right," Yeji says, her hips beginning to move a bit faster in your mouth. "Let her feel it. Let her make you cum." She watches with a satisfied smile as you writhe on Yuna's cock.
Yuna's cock goes faster, her thumb pressing firmly against your clit as she brings you closer and closer to the edge. You feel your body tensing, your muscles clenching in anticipation of the release that's building inside you.
"Yes," Yeji growls, her hips slamming into your mouth as she feels herself beginning to lose control. "Let her make you cum. Show her how good it feels."
Yuna's thrusts become more urgent, her body shuddering as she nears her own release. You feel her fingers dig deeper into your flesh, her thumb rubbing circles around your clit as she drives herself deeper inside you. The sensation is exquisite, the pressure building and building until you feel like you're about to explode.
Yeji watches you with a look of pride and possession, her hips undulating as she rides your face. Her moans fill the room, her pleasure clear in the way she arches her back and throws her head back in ecstasy. Her juices coat your tongue, and you can't help but taste her on your lips as you suck her cock, wanting to savor every last drop.
Yuna's thrusts are unrelenting, her body moving in perfect sync with her lover's rhythm. Her breath comes in ragged gasps, and her eyes are half-closed as she focuses on the sensations coursing through her. Her free hand reaches down, teasing at her clit, her fingers moving in a blur as she nears her own release.
You feel your body tensing, your muscles tightening as your orgasm builds inside you. The pressure is intense, almost painful, but in the best possible way. You grip the sheets, arching your back as your hips buck upward, meeting Yuna's thrusts with equal force.
Yuna's cries fill the air, her body shuddering as she reaches her climax. Her juices spill over you, coating your insides as she cums deep inside you. She collapses on top of you, their weight pinning you to the bed, her chest heaving as she catches her breath.
You feel your own energy waning, your limbs growing heavy and weak. But just as you begin to drift off, you feel Yeji's strong hands on your hips, pulling you to your feet. "Come on," she says, her voice husky with desire. "Time for a shower."
Yuna giggles, her body still pressed against yours. "And maybe some more fun while we're at it," she adds with a sultry smile. You let them lead you to the bathroom, your legs wobbly from the aftereffects of your intense lovemaking.

home is where the heart is || mary earps x reader ||
Tumblr media
you make a surprise visit to see mary.
your flight from germany landed in the middle of mary's derby. that was why you opted for going back to her apartment instead of the game. your training injury had yet to be announced, so you had some time off to go back home for a bit. germany was great, and you loved living with georgia, but the woman waiting for you back in manchester would always be your home.
mary's apartment looked exactly the same as from when you left it. she had kept everything you put up exactly where it had been. you smiled as you walked around the familiar place and took it all in. mary had always been a bit messy, and you swore that the cluttered items were still the same ones that you told her to pick up before you left.
you had at least an hour before mary got back, so you decided to turn on the game as you started cooking dinner. it was nothing fancy, just a little something that mary had always loved, your mother's beef stew. mary didn't have all of the ingredients, but you hadn't expected her to. the quick trip to the store on the way there guaranteed that you'd have everything that you needed.
"what is that smell?" you heard ella's voice before you heard her enter mary's apartment. the next thing you heard was mary drop everything and begin to run towards you. she had always been heavy-footed, stomping around the apartment at all hours of the day.
"oh my god, i've missed you," mary said as she scooped you up into her arms. she pressed several kisses to the side of your face. mary didn't care to turn you for a proper kiss, content to just have you in her arms for a bit longer.
"let her go, you're gonna hurt her," ella teased. mary shot her a glare, but set you back on the ground. "hi, (y/n)."
"hi ella," you returned the greeting. behind you, you could feel mary moving as she looked around the kitchen. "why don't you go in the living room for a bit?"
"are you sure that you don't need any help?" mary knew the answer, but she still wanted to ask anyway. you knew that it was genuine, not just because ella was here. you shooed both women out of the kitchen, unsurprised when ella announced that she was leaving a mere 15 minutes later. you gave the girl lots of hugs and a couple of kisses, having missed her nearly as much as you missed mary. you had missed most of your old friends in england, but you were glad that you followed georgia to germany.
"mary, the stew's done." you brought a bowl out to her, carefully balancing the two in your hands. there was more than enough left for later, and you knew mary would eat at least two bowls. she was always ravenous after a game, and even more so whenever you were the one doing the cooking.
"oh this is nice," mary said as she put her arm around your shoulders. you leaned into her embrace as you started eating. the two of you enjoyed your dinner while mary let you catch up on some of the shows that you had missed while you were away. you went back to take a shower while mary cleaned up in the kitchen, her getting done just a few minutes before you walked out of the bathroom in a towel. "i don't know what i did to deserve all this, but i'll take it."
"cheeky," you warned. mary pouted as she placed her hand on your towel. she didn't tug it down immediately, which you appreciated. however, you did not miss the look on her face that completely revealed her intentions. "if you pull that towel down, i'll call ella over for a sleepover right now."
"i was just feeling the fabric, that's all. i wanted to make sure it was soft enough for your skin. it's sensitive baby," mary said as she dropped her hand. you smirked at how quickly she had changed her attitude.
"i'm sure that you were," you laughed. mary sat back on the bed and pulled her knees up to her chest. she let out a small sigh as you sat down on the edge of the bed, just far enough away that she couldn't reach you.
"do you think that maybe for a second, you could drop the towel?" mary asked sweetly. you twisted yourself around so that you were facing mary before you started crawling up the bed. she let you push her legs down so that you could sit on her lap. mary forced herself to look away until you pulled her in for a kiss.
it wasn't like the kisses in the kitchen, where mary had just been trying to be all over you. this was very focused. you dropped the one hand that had been on your towel away, letting it fall between your bodies while you held mary's attention in the kiss. mary's hands came up to rest on your waist, and she let out a surprised little gasp to feel your skin against hers.
"do you think that i could have that?" you asked as you grabbed at mary's shirt. she pulled it over her head without a second thought and handed it right over to you. mary seemed to realize that you were getting dressed a second too late because she whined as you pulled her shirt over her head. "i was getting cold."
"i can tell," mary said as she reached up towards your boobs. you swatted her hands away and slipped off of her lap. mary tilted her head as she watched you put on a pair of boxers to sleep in. they had been from before you left manchester, and while mary hadn't mentioned it, you had really been hitting the gym in germany. the fabric of the boxers rode up way more on your thighs and ass, which were threatening to peek out from the bottom.
"are you ready for bed?" you asked mary. she shook her head, but made absolutely no effort to move an inch. you knew that she'd be out like a light the moment that you laid down in her arms. there was only one thing that would keep mary awake this late if she was already in bed and after your long day of travel, you weren't quite up to it yet. "i love you."
"i love you too," mary muttered as she kissed the side of your forehead. she laid back and let you get situated on top of her. it had been a long time since you had gotten to fall asleep to a good mary earps cuddle, and you were going to enjoy your injury time out while you had it.

The Boy Is Mine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Miles Morales x Black Fem Spider-person Reader v Gwen Stacy.
Summary: He saved you and She didn’t want to and maybe she was right because the boy is now yours.
WARNINGS: Fighting, bad words, I think that’s it.
A/n: I was tied!!! Of seeing Miles cheat with Gwen so I took matters into my own hands. This is probably one of the best stories I’ve ever written too so don’t skip. I had so much fun writing this.
Tumblr media
For the past 2 years, you've been the one and only Spider-woman. Everyone knows the story by now, bitten by a radioactive spider, and now you spend your time protecting the city. Everything was going great. Or that's what you wanted to believe as you fought Wilson Fisk, a person who is supposed to be behind bars. This Wilson was different - bigger, stronger, he was giving you a run for your money.
"What have they been feeding you at the Raft, Willie?" You quipped as you dodged a punch. "Haha, missed me," you said, landing a punch combo to his jaw.
"You stupid spiders are always in the way," he said, managing to catch you off guard, knocking you back. This fight is definitely gonna take a while.
"Who are you anyway, where's Spider-Man?" Fisk asked, walking menacingly toward you as you lay on the floor to catch a breath.
"I don't get paid enough for this," you said, getting up, squaring up with the large man.
Spider-Man, what are you talking about, Fisk?" You asked the man leaping backwards, dodging all of his hits.
"Enough of this talk, this ends now," Fisk said, running toward you. You charged back, your fist balled, about to strike, but he dodged and caught you by your throat.
"Another spider under my belt," Fisk said, laughing as he squeezed your throat. Gasping for air, you tried your best to break free from his grip, but your vision began to fade out. Your strength left you, and your eyes began to close. All you wanted to do was sleep, but you blinked your eyes again. Maybe you were hallucinating from the lack of oxygen, but a portal with glowing lights appeared, and two other spider personas flew forward, knocking Fisk out. You dropped to the floor, gasping for air, but still fainted in the process.
You probably weren't out for long, but you heard faint voices, a female and a male.
"What do we do, Gwen? We can't just leave her here."
"Miles, what are we supposed to do? We can't take her back to HQ."
You were too weak to actually open your eyes to see who was talking. Too weak to stop them from kidnapping you and taking you to wherever HQ was. You tried to let out a small groan, but it was useless.
"That's exactly what we need to do, Gwen. She needs medical care."
"Ughhh.... Fine, you grab her."
You heard footsteps move towards you, and your body being lifted before you succumbed to the darkness around you again.
✨HQ✨
Your bloodshot eyes shot open as you sat up, feeling around for your mask that wasn't on your face. You heard the fast-paced beeping of a heart monitor, letting you know your heart rate was up as you ripped all the pads off of you, standing ready to leave the room before two people came walking inside. You immediately got in defense mode as you studied them - an older man in a blue suit with a spider on the front, and a younger boy about your age in a black suit, also with a spider on the front.
"Where the fuck am I, and who are you?" you said, pointing.
"Welcome to HQ, Spiderwoman. I'm Spider-Man, and he's Spider-Man. Glad you survived. Miles, I'll leave you to it," the older man in the blue suit said, walking away.
Miles walked closer to you, setting off your spider senses. You closed one of your eyes, moving your head to the side, resting your hand on your head. "Don't come any closer," you said.
You're probably not used to that, but you're like me, it does that sometimes. I'm Miles.
"Yeah, I got that from earlier," you said, flopping back on the hospital cot, still very much in pain.
Miles wasn't in the room when they took off your mask, so this was the first time he saw your face. He scanned every detail of your face, taking in the way your plump lips formed into a natural pout, or maybe that was just because you were in pain. The way your brown eyes sparkled under the bright white light, he couldn't help but be captivated by your gaze. He loved your braids and the way your pink beads rattled every time you moved.
Miles felt something stir in the pit of his stomach the longer he looked at you. Maybe it was just gas from the spicy food he ate earlier, he thought, in denial of the growing attraction he felt for a stranger.
"Well, aren't you gonna tell me your name?" Miles finally mustered the courage to ask.
You turned to face him, the pain momentarily forgotten as you observed his silly smirk. You weren't usually the friendliest person, but there was something about Miles that felt different, something that made you want to open up.
"I'm Y/n," you replied, a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips.
Nice to meet you Y/n," Miles said, offering his hand. You looked at it. "I'd shake your hand, but I'm in too much pain right now," you said, causing both of you to laugh. There it was, that fluttering feeling in the pit of Miles' stomach again as he watched a beautiful smile grace your face.
"So, what is this place and why am I here?" you asked Miles, curiosity shining in your eyes. "This is the Spider Society. We brought you here because you were in bad shape from fighting Fisk," Miles explained. You coughed a bit. "Yup, he whooped my ass," you said, making both you and Miles burst into laughter again.
Unbeknownst to the two of you, Gwen stood outside the door, her eyes fixed on the scene unfolding inside. With each word you said to Miles, with each chuckle you elicited from him, the flames of jealousy ignited within her. Unable to bear it any longer, she burst into the room, startling both you and Miles.
"What the fuck? You didn't even have to do all that, shawty," You exclaimed. Miles stood up, a look of surprise on his face. "Gwen, this is Y/n, Spider-woman, the one we helped," he explained, pointing toward you.
"Oh, hi. I'm glad you're okay," Gwen said, her words laced with a hint of insincerity.
This your girl Miles ?" You asked.
"No, no." They both said in unison dragging their o's. It was obvious to you that there was more to the story by the way she busted into the room but that was none of your business.
"Well, it was nice to meet you, Y/n. We should get going," Gwen said, gently tugging Miles towards the door.
Before leaving, Miles tossed you a watch that you effortlessly caught. "Maybe we can see each other again," he said, a glimmer of hope in his eyes. You smiled, watching him walk away.
"Hmmm," you hummed, examining the watch before clasping it onto your wrist. "Maybe we will, Spider-Man."
As Gwen and Miles made their way through the headquarters, Miles couldn't ignore Gwen's evident distress. He studied her face and body language. He called out to her, "Gwen?"
Getting no response, Miles tried a sing-songy voice, calling her name once more. "What, Miles?" she replied, her voice tinged with bitterness.
"I know you're upset. Do you want to talk or not?" Miles asked, genuinely wanting to understand what was bothering her.
"Why don't you go talk to Y/n?"
"Gwen, are you serious? I barely know her, but she's a cool girl," Miles defended, trying to reassure her.
"Oh, she's cool now?" Gwen's tone dripped with sarcasm and doubt.
Miles gently reached for Gwen's hand, stopping her in her tracks, making her face him directly. "Look, Gwen, you don't have to worry about her, okay?" he said softly.
Gwen's expression softened, and she nodded, a flicker of trust returning to her eyes. "Alright, Miles. She said giving him a small punch to the shoulder.
✨The Mission✨
You were back in your dimension 2 days post fight with Fisk feeling good as new. You were in bed, examining the watch Miles gave you, when a hologram of a woman appeared, making you scream.
"Oh hey there new recruit, I'm Lyla," she said, waving.
"Hi... Lyla," you said slowly, waving back.
"Sorry to scare you, but the boss needs you at HQ, your first mission... Yayyyy, so suit up," she said before disappearing.
"Uh, okay," you said, slipping into your skintight suit and mask, slapping on your watch, struggling to find out how to get it to work because no one gave you a tutorial. But you managed using your genius brain and stepped through the portal, gracefully landing in a dark room with monitors.
"Great, you're here......Miles!" the man you were familiar with but never got his name called out.
From the shadows, Miles emerged with a smile on his face. "Good to see you again, Mamita," he said.
"Oh, we're using pet names now?" you said, matching his flirty energy.
"That's enough," Miguel said as he stood before you two. "Anomaly in Earth 746, catch it."
"Anomaly?" you questioned.
"I'll tell you all about it later," Miles said, grabbing your hand, opening a portal, and pulling you through.
You dusted off your hands. The mission went well, a little too well, especially for a Goblin mission.
"You're pretty good, Miles."
"You too, Mamita. Gotta say, I doubted you a little after the Fisk fight," he teased.
"Oh, whatever," you said, rolling your eyes, chuckling a bit.
You moved closer to Miles, mere inches between you two, as you ran your fingers along his jawline.
Miles' breath hitched as you touched him, his hazel eyes expressing the tension between you two. There was no denying that Miles was handsome, and you were eager to learn more about him.
"So what dimension are you from, Papa?" you asked playfully, a flirtatious smile gracing your lips.
"1610. Maybe we could go there?" Miles responded, his voice filled with anticipation.
"Take a girl on a date first, Miles," you laughed, teasing him gently.
"No, I didn't mean it like that. I..." Miles stammered, trying to explain himself.
"I would love to see your dimension, Miles," you interrupted, cutting him off.
And so, Miles took you to his dimension.
"This is Brooklyn." Miles said as you two stood atop the Williamsburg Bank building, you marveled at the city below. It was similar to your own home, yet distinctly different. Miles watched in awe as your eyes sparkled at the city, feeling a flutter in his stomach.
"It's beautiful, Miles," you whispered, taking a seat to soak in the view.
He walked forward and sat beside you, his face beaming with joy. You turned towards him, a warm smile on your lips.
"So, what's your story, big head?" you asked, playfully leaning on him.
"My story?" Miles responded, a hint of surprise in his voice.
"You're Spider-Man, Miles. What's your origin?" you asked , curious him.
"You know, regular Spider-Man stuff. I gained my powers and now I fight bad guys," Miles answered, a humble tone in his voice.
"That's not what I meant," you said, giving him a small shove. "What's the real story? I was bitten by a radioactive spider too, two years ago on a field trip to Oscorp. Your world doesn't seem to have Oscorp." You sighed, frustration and sadness mixing in your voice. "I got these crazy powers that I didn't know what to do with, so I decided to keep them a secret and pretend that I was a regular kid."
The weight of your words hung heavy in the air as you choked up, memories flooding back. Miles noticed your distress and perked up. "It's okay, you don't have to share if you don't want to," he said, trying to comfort you.
But something compelled you to open up, to let go of the burden you had been carrying alone for so long. You rested your hand gently on top of his. "I pretended to be some regular kid, and that led to me losing my mom. And from then on, I decided to help everyone else," you finished.
Miles's heart stung as he listened to your story. "I lost someone close to me too, my uncle Aaron. He was shot saving me," he shared, the pain evident in his voice.
A sense of understanding and connection washed over you both. You leaned your head on his shoulder. "See, that's your story, Papa," you said softly, appreciating the bond that formed between you. "You know, Miles, it's so nice to have someone to talk about this stuff with now," you added, gazing at the sun setting on the horizon.
That moment solidified your blooming relationship with Miles. Whenever you had free time, you would pop into his dimension, and vice versa. Now, in your suit, you found yourself in dimension 1610, patiently waiting for Miles to catch up as you swung through the bustling city.
"Keep up, Miles," you teased, a mischievous glint in your eyes as you effortlessly jumped from building to building, landing with grace. The two of you were headed back to his house, where Jeff and Rio, his parents, adored you and had grown fond to your presence after all the time you spent with Miles.
They couldn't wrap their head around the whole different dimension thing and just assumed Miles' imagination had run wild. You two walked through his front door.
"Hey Mama Rio," you greeted Miles' mom.
"Hey Mija."
"Hey Mom," Miles said, hugging his mom before the two of you walked into his room. You two were too caught up in conversation to notice a guest. Gwen. She cleared her throat, making you two snap your attention towards her.
"Gwen, hey," Miles said nervously. "What are you - what are you doing here?"
"I came to see you because I barely see you anymore, but now I know why," Gwen answered.
You snickered a bit, knowing you essentially snatched Miles from Gwen.
"Oh, that's funny?" Gwen asked.
You threw your hands up in surrender, not wanting to get into it with her.
"We were about to watch a movie, order some pizza. You can stay if you want," Miles offered to pacify Gwen, but he was hoping she'd turn it down. He cherished his alone time with you.
"No, it's fine, Miles. I'll leave," Gwen said with a hint of frustration in her voice.
"Uh, okay. Bye," Miles said
"Bye, Gwendolyn," you added, unable to hide the small smirk on your face.
Gwen turned to you and asked, "You know what, can we talk outside, Y/n?"
Rolling your eyes, you agreed, "Sure, why not?" You grabbed Miles' hand, signaling for him to come along.
"Alone," Gwen insisted, her tone unwavering.
"Okay... I'll be back, papa," you said to Miles, giving him a smile and a pat on the cheek.
As you followed Gwen out of the window and onto the roof, you could feel the tension building up. Once you reached a secluded corner, she turned to face you, arms folded.
"What is your problem?" she asked, her voice filled with accusation.
"Girl, what are you talking about?" you answered defensively.
"Miles," she replied, her tone laced with frustration.
"What about him? He's fine, great even," you said, walking closer to her.
"Don't play dumb, Y/n," Gwen snapped.
"What are you getting at, Gwen?" you said, your tone becoming pointed as you grew tired of the conversation.
"He's mine, Y/n, and you're trying to steal him away," her voice filled with possessiveness.
You couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Yours?" you asked, shaking your head. "Gwen, you lost him the day you two saved me."
As the words left your mouth, the truth hung heavy in the air. Gwen had been holding onto her feelings for Miles while pretending everything was okay. But deep down, she knew that the connection between you and Miles was undeniable.
What you didn't see coming was a slap across your face from Gwen, not thinking she was bold enough to do it. The sting of her actions lingered in the air as shock resonated through your entire being. And what Gwen didn't see was Miles, camouflaged and watching you two from a distance. He didn't hear anything you two talked about, but he sure did see the slap.
As the pain subsided, you didn't retaliate. Deep down, you and Gwen both knew that you had won this battle, that Miles was now dedicated to you.
"Why would you do that, Gwen?" You heard a voice behind you, and turned to see Miles standing there, his eyes filled with disappointment.
You watched in satisfaction as Gwen's eyes widened, realizing that she had not only hurt you but also jeopardized her chances with Miles. She had unknowingly made it even easier for you to snatch his affection away from her.
"Miles, I..." Gwen stammered, unable to find the right words to justify her actions.
"Why would you hit her?" Miles asked, his voice filled with a mix of anger and hurt.
"You didn't hear what she said, Miles. She's trying to tear us apart. You were mine," Gwen spewed out, desperately clinging to her fading hopes.
"Yours? I'm not some object, Gwen," Miles retorted, his voice laced with disappointment. "Is that why you brought her outside? To hit her?"
A heavy silence hung in the air as Gwen struggled to find an explanation, her words failing her. The truth had been laid bare, and Miles saw her for who she truly was.
"Save it, Gwen," Miles said, his voice firm. "You just showed me the type of person you really are. I've been pining after you for months, and you always brushed me off. But now, now I have someone who actually likes me back."
With those words, he took your hand, intertwining your fingers with his.
You looked at Gwen, a smug look on your face as you squeezed Miles' hand tighter.
"You don't mean that, Miles."Gwen said.
"Yes, I do," Miles turned to you. "She likes me back, and she's the most caring, sweetest, funniest person in this dimension and every other," Miles said, making you tear up a bit, your lip bottom poking out.
"You're so cute when you do that," Miles said.
Gwen watched as her heart slowly broke. She had played with Miles, but now she had lost the game. She wanted to look away, but she couldn't. She should be the one he said all those things to. The tears pricked her eyes.
"Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" The words echoed in Gwen's head, the final blow that made her tears roll down her face.
"Of course, I will, papa," you said, jumping on Miles and giving him a tight hug before pulling back and giving him a big kiss, your first one in front of his former crush.
You and Miles turned to Gwen, watching as she continued to cry.
"You should go, Gwen," you said, your heart aching a bit for the girl, but not a lot.
Miles grabbed your hand as the two of you walked off toward the stairwell, leaving Gwen behind.

Chapter 34 of human Bill Cipher not making friends with Stan during his imprisonment in the Mystery Shack, featuring: the tooth fairy and her dentist attempting to steal Bill's teeth in the middle of the night. Stan would care a lot less if he weren't still handcuffed to Bill. And also: Stan and Bill have a friendly chat. As you can see.
####
Even though Bill and Stan were trying to watch the same TV as they had dinner, Bill refused to sit in the living room with Stan; so he sat on the bottom step of the stairs in the entryway, Stan perched on the end of the couch, and they strung the handcuffs around the doorway with their little plastic microwave dinner trays balanced on their knees.
Both of their dinners had come out undercooked. Both of them were too proud to complain.
After picking through maybe a third of his meal, Bill decided he'd rather go to bed hungry than eat something he didn't enjoy, dropped his tray on the floor, and kicked it into the kitchen. "Hey Stanley, still glad you went with the cuffs instead of the bracelets?"
"Shut up."
Bill smirked victoriously, and looked back to the TV. "No mayonnaise in Ireland."
"What?"
Bill pointed at the screen and the rows of blank letters waiting for contestants to fill them in. "The round that just started. That's the solution."
"Oh." Stan counted out all the blank letters, frowned, and said unconfidently, "It can't be that. It doesn't make any sense."
"You're wrong," Bill said lightly; and then fell silent, running the tip of his tongue over the new gold spots on his teeth.
When the contestants had guessed enough letters that one could hesitantly offer, "Is it... 'no mayonnaise in Ireland'?" Bill smirked triumphantly at the sound of Stan's silence. He just barely waited until the next board of blank letters flashed on the screen, and then announced, "Tip your waiter."
Stan counted the letters under his breath. "Man. I thought I was good at this, but we'd clean up if we put you on this show. No one would ever figure out how you're cheating."
Bill laughed. "Listen to you! If you were Ford, you'd just be mad that I'm giving away all the answers before you can guess. That's the great thing about you, Stanley: you don't get irritated at me for stupid little reasons. You're more fun." He took a deep breath and shouted, "Hey Ford, did you hear that?! Stan's the fun twin—!"
"Keep it down, you idiot. Ford's in the basement, he can't hear you." Stan had thought Bill was finally sobering up from the sedative; maybe not. (Then again, maybe this was just what he was like sober.) "And what are you talking about? You irritate me all the time!"
"Oh, well, I guess I just don't care when you're irritated." Bill laughed.
Stan grumbled, planted his chin in his hand, and tried to focus on Cash Wheel. It was difficult when he already knew the solution.
He tolerated the silence for less than a minute before sighing, looking toward the doorway, and demanding, "What's with you, anyway? Why are you so obsessed with my brother?"
Bill spluttered in disbelief. Stan could feel his handcuff chain jerk over. Voice even shriller than usual, Bill said, "Excuse m—Excuse me?! Obsessed? Moi?! I don't know what you're talking about!" He forced a loud laugh.
"If Ford's in the room, he's the only one you talk to, and when he isn't here you're yelling across the house for him—"
"Is it obsession to sometimes pay a little more attention to the human here I happen to know best and to whom I happen to be a teacher, muse, and friend—"
"Oh that's a load of bull," Stan snapped, "you're not any of those things! Friend? Friend? He wants you dead, you crazy—"
"Well if he does," Bill said, louder still, "then wouldn't it make perfect sense to keep my eye on the guy who killed me? There's no big mystery—"
"That's it! That's just it!" Stan tossed down his TV dinner and stood so he could face Bill properly. "He didn't kill you alone, remember? That was a two-man con you fell for! But you keep talking like Ford was the only one there!"
Without bothering to stand, Bill looked up at Stan and said, quite confidently, "Only one person killed me. You're just the place where I was killed."
"I wh...?" Stan fell silent, blinking at Bill in disbelief.
"Do you even remember what happened inside your brain? After you took my hand?" Bill asked. "You don't, do you?"
Stan glowered at Bill, but he shut his mouth and said nothing.
"I knew it." Bill laughed nastily. "We were both trapped in there when Fordsy fired the gun. Completely powerless. You were weeping and begging for a way out when the flames got too close, but there was nothing I could do by then—"
"All right," Stan took a threatening step closer, "I know that that didn't happen! I would never—"
Bill leaned back, hands raised palm out in appeasement, "Okay okay okay! All right, you got me—just embellishing the story a little—we actually had a big psychic laser battle. Imagined up all kinds of futuristic weapons. It was very 90's action movie. You did... fine, you were fine."
Stan considered that. "Ehh... sure, that sounds more like me."
"But it was all imaginary," Bill snapped. "It was a vast illusion! At that point there was nothing either of us could do to the other. We were just two victims locked inside a burning house as it came down around us. You didn't kill me, you never even had the power to kill me."
"Huh." That was all Stan said. But he kept looking at Bill, frowning distrustfully, studying him.
Bill's shoulders slowly went up under the pressure of Stan's gaze. "Oh—oh wow, okay, I see what's going on!" He gave Stan a crooked, mean smile. "You're jealous, aren't you? You thought offering up your body to be the scene of a murder finally made you a co-star instead of a sidekick! All your lives, Stanford got more attention from daddy, more attention from the teachers, more attention from the whole world... and you thought you'd finally get at least a little attention from the big bad living nightmare. Just because you let your brother shoot you in the head!" Bill laughed. "You weren't special enough for anyone else—why do you think you're special enough for me?"
Stan jerked Bill to his feet by the handcuff's chain. "I bet I'm special enough to break your face!" He dragged him into the living room, fist raised. "Let's see if you stay down this time—"
Bill scrambled back as far as the chain allowed him. "NO!" Horror filled the one ragged syllable. His free arm was raised to shield his terrified eye.
They froze, staring at each other.
Bill straightened up, forcing a nervous, rattled laugh. "Come on, I just got all this dental work done. At least give me a couple days to enjoy it before you pound it in!" He was talking fast to fill the silence. "Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind having a flatter face, all these bones and cartilage jutting out never did feel right—"
Stan feigned a punch.
Bill flinched.
Stan laughed at him, slapping his knee. "You big chicken! Look at you! Baw-baaawk-bgawk! HA!"
Bill tried, very hard, to explode Stan with his brain. This usually worked on people who dared try to insult Bill Cipher. "If I had one billionth of a billionth of my power, I'd have already destroyed you—!"
"But you don't, sucker!" Stan laughed louder.
Bill screamed in frustration, turned his back on Stan, and stomped upstairs to sulk.
Or, he would have, if he hadn't gotten one step up the stairs before the handcuffs yanked tight. He stumbled back, landed on his butt, and inadvertently jerked Stan down on one knee with a yelp.
Bill cast a resentful look at Stan—who was rubbing his shoulder and finally looking as irritated as Bill felt—and then he lay down and deliberately stared straight at the ceiling. "Whatever. I don't even care about your pointless mammal posturing. It's fine. It doesn't bother me. I'm calm. You're just making yourself look stupid." Bill shut his eyes. "I wanna go to bed."
####
"Bill," Ford said.
Bill cracked open an eye and peered up at the form looming over his makeshift cushion bed. "Mrm?"
In a very calm voice that suggested he was not calm at all, Ford asked, "Why are you sleeping on the floor in front of my bedroom door."
"Oh. Right, you missed it." Bill yawned and sat up. "Well, you see, Stanley got us handcuffed together until tomorrow morning," he pointed at his cuffed wrist and rattled the chain, "and I tried to be accommodating, but he doesn't want to sleep in the attic and won't let me sleep in the guest room—"
Stan yelled through the door, "And Mr. Accommodating here still refuses to sleep on the sofa bed."
"—so the best compromise we've got is sleeping on the floor with the chain under the door. Not my idea of a fun evening, but." Bill shrugged ruefully, like an adult resigned to indulging the whims of a petulant child. "Do you want in? It'll take us a little coordination to get the door open, but we've already done this once, so—"
"I'm not messing with this," Ford said. "I'm sleeping in the basement. Good night, Stanley."
"Night, Ford."
Trying not to sound miffed at being snubbed, Bill said, "Hey, do you still keep your cot on that rug you used to channel me better?" He laughed.
"Nope. I burned that rug." Ford turned the corner and left.
Bill stuck his tongue out at his back. He didn't actually know whether Ford was lying. He wished he'd thought to check out Ford's study before heading down to the portal back when he'd had his time tape.
"Hey." He rapped on the bedroom door. "I thought we weren't asking Sixer for help so he wouldn't find out about the handcuffs." They hadn't actually discussed it, but he'd taken it for granted. "Now that he knows, why aren't we getting his help?"
"What, you think I need his help to solve all my problems? Ha!"
"Okay, fine. Doesn't matter to me, I'm used to sleeping on the floor." Bill lay back down and sighed.
He shut his eyes and tried to go back to sleep.

Bill wasn't quite dreaming, but for a few seconds it was something very close to a dream. He saw points of light in darkness. One of his earliest, oldest memories. He'd memorized the constellations outside of his plain when his starblind species didn't even have a word for "constellations."
But these weren't those points of light in darkness. Some nearer, some farther—he could sense their distance—and all of the lights were calling to him. All of his eyes. He could see so many more than he had last night.
One was just a few inches away. He could almost reach out and grab it.
But those few seconds of light-in-darkness were in the gray twilight between the dreamscape and the physical world, and Bill only fleetingly glimpsed them as he passed from sleep back to wakefulness. He opened his eyes.
To see a person looming over him.
And the taste of thick metal tools in his mouth.
"Hi," Bill said, for lack of anything better to say under these circumstances.
It was enough to make Dr. Illing gasp and stumble back from Bill. "Jeez." He clapped a hand over his heart. "I'm sorry— I-I didn't want to—"
"Uh-huh." Bill sat up and took the abandoned tool out of his mouth—pliers. They'd been gently clamped around one of his canine teeth. "Not the most unpleasant thing I've had aimed at my face in the middle of the night," Bill mused, "but it's pretty high on the list." He tried to lift his other hand to feel his face for damage—and only remembered the handcuff when the rattling chain caught his wrist in place.
They both looked at the cuff. As Dr. Illing realized Bill was trapped, a change came over his face—a desperate, crazed fury.
Bill shook his head. "Ohhh, no no no—"
"Give me that!" Dr. Illing lunged for Bill, one hand reaching toward the pliers and the other toward his throat, trying to pin him against the door.
Bill shoved his feet in Dr. Illing's chest, trying to hold him back. "Stanley!" He pounded on the door with the pliers. "We have visitors, wake up!"
"It'll only take a second," Dr. Illing insisted. "You were going to give me one anyway! And that tooth is already loose! You can handle the pain! Just—hold still, I can't damage it!" He managed to get his thumb in Bill's mouth—he cringed when Bill bit down, but didn't back off—and pulled a fresh set of pliers out of his tool bag.
Bill parried the pliers with his own pair. "STAAAN—"
The door unlatched and Bill tumbled backward into the room. He twisted out of the dentist's way, slid the handcuff chain out from under the door, and skittered behind Stan.
"Wha—what's—?" Stan squinted into the dark hallway. "The heck's going on?"
Bill stretched to Stan's nightstand and grabbed up his glasses and hearing aids. "Put your face on!" He shoved them in Stan's hands, then reached back for his dentures.
Stan put his glasses on first. "What the— Illing? What are you doing here?"
Dr. Illing stood forlorn in the hallway, trembling all over, eyeing Stan nervously. "Uhhh," he said eloquently. "I just..." He gestured around Stan's shoulder toward Bill, "wanted to check her fillings. I thought one of them might be a little loose—"
Bill's cackle cut through his excuses. "Oh, come on! I know your boss put you up to this! What does the little lady want with my mouth?"
Dr. Illing's eyes widened. All he managed to produce was a squeak.
Stan said, "What 'little lady,' this guy's self-employed. What are you talking about—"
"The tooth fairy, genius!" Bill flung his free hand in the air. "Why did you think your dentist pays you to pull your teeth! He lives in a van, who'd you think was funding him?!"
"Uh," Stan said. "You know, I sort of just took his whole 'creepy sadist who bribes people to let him pull their teeth' shtick at face value." (Dr. Illing's shoulders slumped.) "But—I know things are weird around here, but the tooth fairy's gotta be fake, right? That's the stupidest..."
A fairy popped out of Dr. Illing's bag—just large enough to use an adult man's hand like a chair, with a bob cut so white it almost shone, giving off a glowing toothpaste-blue aura, wearing a necklace of baby teeth like a hunter who'd taken trophies from the bones of her kills.
"Oh," Stan said. "Well. Never mind. Just one more crazy thing in this town."
Bill's back went stiff, his eyes widened, and he curled his fists into the fabric of Stan's tank top like he was holding his shield in place. "Oh, she's here." He lisped an inhuman swear under his breath.
Ignoring them, the tooth fairy glowered up at Dr. Illing. "How did they know? What did you tell them!"
"Nothing!" he protested. "I swear! I'd never!"
"Well, you must have let something slip—"
Bill swallowed hard; but then he straightened up, let go, and stepped into the open. "Why, if it isn't Miss Pearl E. White, in the fae flesh! To what do I owe such an honor?"
Dr. Illing and the fairy both flinched. She asked, "How do you know my...?"
"Oh, Pearl. I know things you couldn't even dream of." Bill favored her with his best, widest, most unnerving grin.
And got the creeping sense that she'd stopped looking at his face, and started staring at his teeth. He pressed his lips together. "And here's just one thing I know: lady, if you were toeing the line of your treaty any harder, you'd be tripping across it. So tell me what you're doing here and what you want."
She huffed defensively, wings buzzing as they lifted her several inches in the air. "I'm well within the terms of the treaty! I haven't laid a hand on you and I'm not about to start, and I've been offering more than adequate financial compensation—"
"Oh, right," Bill laughed, "I'm sure the queen of your court would be thrilled to hear you ordered your legally-dubious helper to rip out someone's teeth in the dead of night—"
"Hi," Stan said, "question. What the hey are you guys talking about. Treaties? Queens?"
"Oh, this is all going over your head, isn't it! I'll catch you up." He turned to the side to point accusingly at Pearl, "Little miss enamel-happy here has a thing for teeth. To the extent that she started stealing them straight out of humans' mouths. She went so crazy that the local human settlements actually declared war on her court over her dental kleptomania—and the fairies she dragged into the conflict weren't any happier about it than the humans were. So now, under the conditions of a human-fairy peace treaty, she's only allowed to acquire already freed teeth that are voluntarily offered to her by their owners—which is why she started bribing children."
Pearl crossed her arms, fuming. "That's a very biased version of events. You're just trying to paint me in the worst possible—"
"Save it, sparkles! I woke up with your minion's pliers in my mouth, I'll be as biased as I want!" He shifted his attention to Dr. Illing—who seemed to wilt under the force of Bill's glare. "But she's getting deep in a gray area working with this guy. Once a tooth is handed to a dentist, he's its 'owner,' and can freely give that tooth to the tooth fairy—but him extracting the tooth puts the whole operation on shaky legal ground. Really, I think the only reason you've gotten away with this racket so long is because nobody's filed a legal challenge with the fairy court yet."
"Nobody's complained about it," Pearl said hotly.
"None of your victims know about it," Bill countered. "Hey Fisherman," he jabbed Stan's arm, "how do you feel knowing your teeth were sacrificed to the tooth fairy?"
He considered that. "Well—it was free."
Pearl crowed, "Ha!"
Ignoring Stan's reply, Bill blithely moved on: "But by any reading of the treaty, hiring a human to steal teeth straight out of someone's mouth is beyond the pale. So you'd better have a good explanation for this!"
"Yeah. I do have a good explanation." She sucked in a deep breath. "I want your teeth!" She launched herself toward Bill; Dr. Illing had to grab her around the waist to hold her back. "I'd do anything for those teeth! They're the most amazing teeth I've ever seen!" She clawed at the air, hissing and straining as she tried to reach Bill.
"My lady, please," Dr. Illing said pathetically. "The treaty—"
She aimed a swipe at his face. "I know about the stupid treaty!"
Bill stared at her, baffled. His perfectly normal human teeth? But he shook his head, smiled, and said, "Well okay, fantastic! It's been a while since I've bargained with the fae, but I'm not too attached to this body—so how much gold do you have on you, kid?"
"We're not bargaining. You already know too much," Pearl snapped. "I'm not about to get blackmailed by a human, and I'm not going back to fairy jail. So here's what's happening." She jerked a thumb over her shoulder toward Dr. Illing. "I'm gonna have my guy rip out every one of your teeth, and then rip your head apart so you can't talk, and the only negotiating you get to do is whether or not my guy uses the local anesthetic before he starts. So what's it gonna be?"
Dr. Illing went deathly pale and his knees shook as he verged on fainting.
"Hey," Stan waved at the fairy, "listen, I'd love to see this guy's head get ripped apart, but—crazy thing, long story—it turns out there's fifty-fifty odds that killing him could end the world. So, maybe let's talk this out—?"
Pearl gestured dismissively at Stan. "His mouth has nothing left of interest to me. He's a witness. Kill him, too."
Dr. Illing swallowed hard; but, with trembling hand, he reached into his tool bag and slowly pulled out a large power drill that definitely wasn't designed for teeth.
"Right," Bill said. "Okay. This'll be fun." If he said it convincingly enough, maybe it would be true. "Hey, Fisher—you know that spell Sixer's got on me? If I cast it on Frankie here, can you..."
"Yeah, I see where you're going."
Pearl's eyes narrowed. She pounded her tiny fist on Dr. Illing's finger. "Hurry up, before they—"
Before she could issue a warning, Stan charged at them, fist raised. Dr. Illing flinched, shielding his face with the drill; but Stan dodged around him, heading for the hall. Bill seized Dr. Illing's upper arm as he passed—"Amnesia Limina, Stupidi Digiti, Occultus Locus!"—and then Stan yanked Bill out into the hall by their chain and slammed the bedroom door.
Dr. Illing gasped. "What?"
Blue light radiated through the cracks around the door as Pearl darted around, shrieking, "Open the door, you idiot!"
There was a moment of futile scrabbling. "How?!"
Bill and Stan retreated to the entryway. Bill said, "If we get outside, we can lose 'em."
"Or get the car and run them over," Stan said.
"You don't wanna be the guy who kills the tooth fairy! She might be in the doghouse, but she's still old fae nobility. Her court would—"
Bill cut off as Stan opened the door. Instead of leading to the porch and the forest beyond, it now opened into a bone-colored cathedral, the arches and vaulted ceilings constructed out of what looked like small irregular pebbles: teeth.
Stan gaped at the vast chamber. "Where the heck...?"
Bill looked at what had once been the outside of the door; the numbers "13 / 32" were carved into the wood. "Nowhere we want to go! Shut it!"
Stan slammed the door.
"That explains how she got in," Bill muttered. "There's no time to un-enchant this exit, we'll need another one."
Stan pointed toward the living room. "We can go out the—"
"The floor room exit." Bill dragged Stan back toward the hallway they'd just left.
"What?! That's the other end of the house, you idiot, the gift shop's right through here!"
"But it's a straight shot down the hall—" Bill stumbled to a stop.
The tooth fairy was clawing her way out from under the bedroom door. She caught sight of Bill, and her wings raised in a sharp V like a wasp preparing to attack. "You!"
"Never mind."
Stan dragged Bill back toward the living room. "Now can we go—"
Bill saw the living room—that familiar dark room, the familiar walls and carpet, the familiar armchair facing the doorway as though welcoming him back, the pale blue light from the fish tank climbing the walls like flames—and Stanley Pines, dragging Bill by a chain toward this tomb—and he grabbed on to the staircase railing. "Up."
Stan jerked to a stop. "That's a dead end!" He tried again to pull Bill toward the living room. "Are you insane?!"
"Yes." Bill locked his hand around the railing like a corpse in rigor mortis. He'd break his fingers before he let go. "We're going up."
"We are not—"
The tooth fairy shot past them like a glowing blue bullet, streaking into the kitchen. Stan started, and Bill took the opportunity to drag them up the stairs. Stan finally followed.
"You're not getting out of here with my teeth!" Pearl screamed after them.
"Ignore her," Bill muttered, "she can't risk touching us and she knows it. She's powerless without her minion." He stumbled on a step and just kept climbing on all fours.
"I wouldn't bet on her self control!" Stan struggled to keep up, his cuffed wrist in the lead. "Why are we going this way? How do you expect to get out from the attic?!"
"I don't know! It just seemed like a better idea! Do I have to think of everything?!"
"This was your plan!"
"There's got to be a ladder in the storage over the kids' room, we can get down out a window."
"I don't keep ladders—!"
"Well maybe Jesús does, do you know everything in the attic?! Come on!"
Bill kicked the door to the kids' room until Stan opened it. After a short argument about who should climb to the storage loft ("I have to look, you can't see in the dark!" "And you can?! Since when!" "Since always! You didn't need to know!"), Bill scrambled up the makeshift rungs nailed to the wall while Stan climbed halfway up to give the handcuffs a little slack.
As Bill started searching for anything useful, Pearl's ranting filled the shack: "Those teeth are too good for you!"
"I think she's getting closer," Stan said. "Find anything?"
"Not yet." Bill pulled out a broken umbrella with a hooked handle. He clung to it like it was his only defense as he scanned the loft for any signs of a ladder.
Pearl went on, "They're the most beautiful, pristine, unblemished, perfect teeth I've ever seen in my life!"
Bill asked, "Are they really that great?" He'd never paid that close attention.
"Eh..." Stan shrugged and made a so-so gesture with one hand. "A little weird-looking, honestly. They've got those jagged bits in the front that make 'em look like kids' teeth?"
"Huh."
"They're pure," Pearl snarled. "I've never seen adult teeth so pure! And you're ruining them by drilling out chunks of perfect enamel for unnecessary fillings! You don't have the right to those teeth! I deserve them!"
"Hey Bill," Stan said. "So you knew my dentist works for the tooth fairy, right?"
Bill was dragging aside a large box to see if anything ladder-like was hiding behind it. "Yes."
"And you knew she goes crazy for nice teeth."
"Yes." No ladder; he moved to another stack of boxes.
"And it didn't occur to you that she'd be furious that you carved up your new teeth."
"It's in the past, Stanley! Focus on the present!"
"—and I don't even know how you got magic teeth," Pearl continued. "Fully adult teeth in a fully adult mouth, but somehow they're barely a month old! It's impossible! I could barely believe it myself until I saw your mouth with my own two eyes! I must have those teeth, as soon as possible, so I can preserve them exactly like this, who knows if I'll ever find such a novelty again—"
"Ahh, so that's it," Bill said. "Welp, nope, didn't see that one coming at all."
"She's been shouting a while without actually coming after us," Stan pointed out. "What's she up to?"
Bill paused. "Check." He lay down and stretched his cuffed arm down from the loft to give Stan enough slack to peer out the bedroom door.
Stan frowned. "Huh. Weird."
"She's upstairs?"
"Yeah. But she's just flying in a circle. With... I think a veggie container from the fridge?"
Bill sucked in a breath. "Do we have mushrooms?"
"Wh—yeah? How'd you..."
"What!" Bill half-climbed half-fell to the attic floor. "That little cheater's making a fairy ring! That's not fair!" He leaned out the door with Stan. "She's probably already made the matching ring downstairs. We have to destroy it before—"
The circle of chopped portobello mushrooms glowed white; and with a glittery puff, Dr. Illing appeared in the ring.  He coughed out a lungful of fairy dust.
Pearl pointed at Stan and Bill and screamed, "Get them!" With a murderous scowl and terrified eyes, Dr. Illing stared them down and revved his drill.
Stan yanked Bill back into the bedroom and slammed the door.
Dr. Illing whined. "Aw, f—again?!"
"Just break through it!" Pearl commanded. "It's just wood! You have power tools!"
"He can't do that," Bill said confidently. "Doors don't work like that."
Stan said, "He can do that." A power tool whine announced Dr. Illing beginning his assault on the door.
"Oh." Bill considered that, eyes scanning the bedroom from one side to the other, mouth set in a grim line. "I have an idea." He pointed toward the window with his umbrella. "Stan, open the window." He hooked the umbrella over his elbow as he ripped the bedsheets off Dipper's bed and started tying the corners together.
Stan shook his head in disbelief. "You don't really expect us to climb out that window on bedsheets, do you?"
Bill dragged Stan closer and murmured in his ear, just quiet enough that their assailants wouldn't hear him over the power drill, "No, I expect them to think we climbed out the window, while we hide in the closet in the alcove. Once they're past us to check the window, we can sneak out and run downstairs."
"I don't like hiding like cowards instead of fighting. Illing's rickety, we can take him."
Bill kept tying bedsheets. He picked up Dipper's zodiac blanket, flinched, and tossed it to the floor on the other side of Dipper's bed rather than add it to his chain. "Funny—you didn't seem to have any problem hiding for a week while I had your brother prisoner."
Stan grabbed Bill by the shirt, dragging him closer. "You wanna say that again?"
Bill's hands shot up next to his face in surrender. "Sorry, sorry, sorry—"
"There were people in this shack I wanted to keep safe," Stan growled. "I'm not half as fond of you."
"Got it," Bill squeaked. He pointed toward Mabel's bed. "But I can see a dozen futures that end with our brains splattered across Mabel's dolls. I do not want to fight power tools."
There was a crack as the drill flung the first few splinters of wood free from the door. Stan's scowl deepened, but he let go of Bill and nodded.
They tied the bedsheet rope to a table leg, opened the window, and flung the rope out the window; then retreated into the alcove at the other end of the room, pulled shut the ragged curtain that hid it, and closed themselves in the closet to wait for the tooth fairy and Dr. Illing to break in.

(Thanks for reading!! If y'all enjoyed, I'd love to hear what y'all think! Next week we conclude both with the tooth fairy and with whatever the heck is going on between Stan & Bill.)

27 Asks! Thank you! :)) 🍰
Tumblr media
Comments and interaction are the only way I'm afraid.. But your comment doesn't have to be some lengthy and clever compliment. Simple comments like "I love this! :D" "Looks great!" "ASJDKNF" and "Lovely drawing!" will work just fine. <:)
I promise I'm not gonna look down on those comments in anyway. If someone commented on 100 posts of mine with very simple and even copy and pasted responses, I wont be annoyed- if anything that will clearly show me that this person is trying to show their appreciation for my art will also respecting my boundaries. I'll appreciate it a lot is what I'm saying! XD
Even so, if its still too much pressure or you feel too awkward, I totally understand. You don't have to interact at all if you don't want to! I wont look down on you for that either. You can drop a simple like and leave it at that! :)
Tumblr media
I am! :D Although I'm not fully in the loop- apparently there's been an update..? :0

When it comes to transformers? I would say its probably impossible to fully memorize their design line for line <:( at least it is for me!
All I can advise is to draw up a very extensive ref sheet for them, as I have done before. <:T

@neo-metalscottic (Cake hound and Tuna post) (recent Gravity Falls art)
hello hello! :D I've been hanging in there, recent art thefts and tracings has been pretty disheartening.. but I've been doing my best to move past it <:)
Also thank you! :DD I'm glad to hear you liked my cake hound artwork! :)) As for names, I was gonna say that they don't have names and aren't canon yet.. but then two names came to mind <XDD
The name Chief seems pretty fitting for the old chocolate cake hound :0 And I imagined the name Bailey for a smaller vanilla cake hound that tuna might have in the future! :0 Think of a golden retriever :00
As for Gravity Falls, I will admit it was nice to draw Stanley again! And thank you kindly for all the compliments! :DD But man, does it just make me think of all the old embarrassing GF posts I made in the past.. 😅 I'm glad you liked it none the less! :))
And lastly, I'm not sure what kind of coffee Stan would like :0 but he strikes me as the type to say "I like my coffee BLACK like my SOUL" but then secretly fills it with 75% sugar and creamer XDD

I've watched the original show in its entirety, they're absolutely hilarious and very witty XDD and their 1960s DeSoto adventurer was such a cool touch to the show! It's a shame the show didn't last longer.. 😔 Also Sam is my favorite of the two :))

I did have a comic in mind where Wally wakes up from a nightmare and and its sends him into a panic attack. But he doesn't react the way you describe, quite the opposite actually :0
I pictured that he has a more silent panic. Where he shakes violently, his eyes are wide an he's sweating bullets. Unable to speak all the while. Even when he starts to cry he doesn't react to the tears, they just drip down his face silently.
He ended up thinking "Its okay, you're panicking. You're just panicking" but when that doesn't calm him down he thinks "Just call Barnaby. Talk to Barnaby and he'll calm you down, go call Barnaby."
He stumbles to the phone and while its ringing, he hears the floor creak behind him he whips around and knocks the phone off the table. The crash sends him over the edge and he drops the phone to run and hide. When Barnaby picked up his phone and no one replied.. he became really worried.
You cant accidentally butt dial someone on those old phones. Someone intentionally called him and then seemed to drop the phone.. knowing Wally has been acting off lately, he couldn't shake his worry and went out to check on Wally.
When he got to the door and knocked, he heard a vase shatter in Wally's house. Barnaby burst in and found Wally in a state.. The rest is what you can imagine. He comforts Wally and stays with him the whole night. They talk about his nightmare and the sleeping problems he's been battling.. things like that :0 Barnaby is goated :)

@caronaro-flipaclip
His theatrical tone can be a liiitle annoying sometimes. And I cant not hear Finn the human when he talks <XD
But otherwise I like his character :) I feel kind'a bad for Gingerbrave sometimes- it kind'a feels like a lot is expected of him. Everyone is constantly asking him for help and he's always the one trying to defuse any given situation. Poor guy.. <:(

The Boyfriend? || Shawn Spencer
Tumblr media
Paring: Shawn Spencer x gn! reader
Summary: reader is Carlton's younger sibling and is secretly dating Shawn
Warnings: idk Carlton?
P.s. this is based off of a request I got from the lovely @hpxmcusworld takes place around season 1-3
༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶
You've been keeping a major secret from the two most important people in your life and it's killing you. You've been trying to make it seem like nothing was wrong, but the truth had to come out at some point. You were just hoping that point in time would be far off in the future. Not in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner.
"Y/N stop chewing on your nails, it is very annoying." You drop your hands into your lap quickly apologizing to Carlton. You then opt to stand and start pacing around in a circle.
"Come on why are you so worried? If this guy is as great as you say he is then everything should be fine." You stop and turn to glare at Carlton who is currently cleaning his gun.
You were about to yell at him but before you could the doorbell went off. Carlton makes eye contact with you before cocking his gun and standing up.
You sprint across the living room and try to make it to the door before Carlton but you're too slow. He throws open the door and stands face to face with your boyfriend Shawn Spencer. Who was holding a pineapple with a bow on it? You decided not to question it, just happy that he actually came.
"Oh, Lassie! I'm so sorry I think I'm at the wrong apartment!" Your boyfriend looks around a little before you step out from behind Carlton and give a little wave to Shawn.
"I'm so glad you could make it!" Two things happened once you said this. One, Shawn immediately went towards you and gave you a quick peck on your lips before excitedly showing you his pineapple he picked "just for this occasion" as he quoted. And two, Carlton was figuring out 20 different ways to kill Shawn and leave no trace of his body.
Shawn had to make the situation more tense by opening his big mouth. "So what's Lassie doing here and when do I get to meet your brother?" You look between Shawn and your brother (who looks like he is about to strangle Shawn) before finally fessing up.
"Um... actually you're looking at my brother Shawn." You point to Carlton who is now cocking his gun with a murderous look on his face.
"Ha, that's a good one babe. But seriously when is he going to be here?" At this point, you have to stand between the two men as Shawn looks around cluelessly and Carlton starts raising his gun towards Shawn.
Taking a deep breath you slowly push Carlton's gun down and gently grab Shawn's face to make him look at you. "Guys I'm being so serious when I say this."
You look at both of them to make sure you're being heard. "I love both of you so much. And I don't want you to fight... At least not in front of me."
"But he..." You cut Carlton off with a sharp glare. He gulps and nods his head.
You look over at Shawn expectantly. "Hey man, I'm perfectly fine with this. It means I get to spend more time with my two favorite people in the world." He gives a flirtatious wink to Carlton. And you close your eyes with a sigh as Carlton lunges at Shawn in an attempt to strangle him.
This is going to be a long day.

When the two of you arrive, the bowling alley is mostly empty, save for the JustJerk employees milling around and a couple of people hanging out in the arcade. The staff member at the counter gives you a warm greeting and directs the two of you to the lane your friends are at.
You walk up the ramp, scanning the area. The first person you spot is Hoyeon, who is sitting down, chatting with Minho. When she notices the two of you, her lips stretch into a wide smile and she raises a hand to wave. You return the gesture, and the two of you approach her.
"Hi," you smile, plopping down onto the seat next to her. Bada sits next to you, effectively sandwiching you between the two women.
"Hey, guys," she greets, a twinkle in her eyes.
"Did we miss anything?" Bada asks.
"Just the boys getting their asses beat by the girls,” Hoyeon says, glancing at the time on her phone.
"Sounds about right," Bada chuckles.
"Hey! We're not that bad!" Minho says, mock-offended.
"Sure, Minho," Hoyeon says, smirking.
"I don't know. I'm not that great either," you admit.
"Really? Why?" Bada questions.
"I guess I'm just not competitive," you shrug.
"Well you’re gonna have to start getting competitive. I can’t let you be the one who lets the boys get a hold on us,” Bada proclaims, nudging you.
“Why not? We could have a tie, then. Wouldn’t that be nice, Minho? For the boys to not be so embarrassingly outplayed all the time?" you suggest, earning a glare from Minho.
"Oh, shut up," he mutters, causing the three of you to laugh.
"Anyway, y/n, if you’re really that bad, don’t worry about it. I’ll help you out,” Bada promises, placing a hand on your knee. You try not to react.
"Okay, cool, thank you.” You nod, trying not to react.
“No problem,” she says, planting a quick kiss on your cheek. You were going to die before tonight was over.
You glance at Hoyeon, who, upon seeing the exchange, smirks. “So, I'm guessing you two are getting along well?"
"Yeah," Bada grins. "I think so."
"That's good," Hoyeon smiles. "I'm glad."
"Thanks," you reply, avoiding her eyes. You haven’t told Hoyeon that you were faking things with Bada. After the pictures dropped, Hoyeon was one of the first people to text you about it, sending you a flurry of messages full of profanities for not having kept her updated. You’re not sure why you don’t want to tell her the truth. You know she’d be able to keep a secret.
But a part of you knows that you’re enjoying the pretending a bit too much. If you fess up, it would make the reality of the situation more apparent, and the thought of that is starting to disappoint you more than the idea of losing the prize, altogether.
“Hey! There you two are,” Youngj shouts, breaking your train of thought. He makes his way toward you, followed by Redllic wearing a sour expression on her face.
Youngj stops in front of your group, placing his hands on his hips. "You're late," he pouts.
"Sorry, boss," Bada apologizes.
"It's okay. You're not the only ones," he says, sighing. “Are you guys gonna come play or what?”
"We're coming, we're coming," Bada replies, grabbing your hand and pulling you up.
“Eat em’ up, girls!” Hoyeon shouts with a whoop, followed by loud booing from Minho.
"Let's go," Bada smiles, squeezing your hand.
"Right," you reply, ignoring the racing of your heart.
Bada drops your hand, walking over to the rack and grabbing a bowling ball. She turns around, giving you a thumbs up and a cute smile. You roll your eyes and she laughs, turning back around.
As she steps forward to take her turn, you catch a whiff of her perfume. It's intoxicating.
The ball rolls down the lane and knocks down nine pins. You close your eyes, resisting the urge to shout. Why was this woman good at everything?
Bada throws the ball again, knocking the last pin over and finishing her frame with a strike. The crowd applauds, and she does a cute little curtsy, which you find unreasonably adorable.
You watch her, transfixed, as she approaches you.
"Good job," you say, a bit too enthusiastically.
"Thank you," she smiles, placing a hand on your shoulder. "Now, it's your turn."
"Alright, alright," you say, making your way over to the ball rack.
You select a red ball, testing the weight. It's heavy, but not too much, and fits comfortably in your hands.
"Remember, use the guide, aim for the middle, and throw slowly," Bada calls, and you nod, not turning around.
You position the ball against your chest, lining up your feet. Then, in one swift motion, you push the ball forward and release it.
The ball lands directly in the gutter, rolling down and colliding with thin air. You groan, watching the screen count up the pins you hit, or lack thereof. Zero.
"It's okay. Here, I'll show you," Bada says, placing her hands on your shoulders and guiding you over to the middle of the lane.
"First, you want to line up your feet." She says, standing behind you. "And then, you want to position your shoulders and the rest of your body."
You do as she instructs, attempting to focus on her directions.
"Then, the key is to relax and to keep your arm loose. If you tense up, your ball will go all over the place," she says, wrapping her hands around your bicep, massaging it a bit. "So, take a deep breath, and just throw the ball."
You breathe deeply, closing your eyes. You feel the weight of her arms leave your own, and then the weight of her hand on your back.
"Ready?" she whispers, and you nod.
"Okay," she says, patting you, signaling that she has moved.
You exhale, opening your eyes and swinging the ball forward.
You release the ball, and it glides down the lane, knocking eight pins down. You can hear the cheers, but the sound is muffled.
"You did it!" Bada exclaims, hugging you tightly from behind. You laugh, returning her embrace.
"You did most of the work," you say, grinning.
"You would have gotten it without me eventually.”
"Whatever you say," you say, not wanting to argue.
The rest of the night passes by quickly, with you and the girls absolutely destroying the guys, filled with laughter and smiles. By the end of the night, your stomach is sore and your cheeks are aching. When you’re not laughing with one of your coworkers, you’re with Bada, giggling at her jokes, listening to her stories, and being a part of her world. And in the moments when you think nobody is looking, she looks at you and smiles, her eyes soft and sparkling.
Toward the end of the night, you head to the bathroom, fixing your makeup and taking a few breaths.
After you finish, you exit the restroom, walking over to the bar and ordering a glass of water. As you wait, you notice Bada talking to Redllic, their faces stern and serious. You can't hear what they're saying, but something about their expressions is making you nervous.
"Here's your water," the bartender says, handing you the cup.
"Thank you," you respond, accepting the drink. You take a sip, trying to act casual, but you're not fooling anyone. You knew Bada and Redllic had some kind of romantic history, but you weren’t sure how significant it was.
After a moment, Bada and Redllic separate, heading toward different ends of the bar. Bada makes her way over to you, her features still hardened.
"Are you okay?" you ask, concern filling your tone.
"Yes. I'm fine," she replies, her voice stiff.
"Do you want to talk about it?" you offer.
"Not now. Let’s just have fun, yeah?" she says, a forced smile appearing on her lips.
"Okay," you say, reaching over and squeezing her hand. She squeezes back.
"You know, you look nice tonight," she compliments.
"Thanks," you smile, blushing slightly. "You do, too."
"Thank you," she says, and a small grin replaces her false smile. "So, are you having fun?"
"Yeah, I am," you nod. "A lot of fun. It’s a good thing you dragged me out here, seriously. I’m actually good at bowling now.”
"I mean, you weren’t that bad of a student. It’s not like you needed much help. I’m almost wondering if you faked being bad," Bada teases.
"What?! Of course not. How could you think that?" you exclaim, feigning offense.
"Mhm, I don’t know, you seemed pretty excited when I came to help you out. I think I felt your heartbeat over there," she laughs, poking your arm.
Oh shit. You’ve been found out.
You cross your arms, stubborn and determined to get yourself out of this. "Well, was it necessary to get so handsy with it? Do you do that with all of your students?”
"Only the cute ones," Bada says, staring you down.
Your heart races. This was escalating quickly. “Well, then, I guess I’ll consider myself lucky."
"You should," she says, a smirk appearing on her lips. “I could get much more handsy, if you wanted me to."
What the hell was going on? As much as you and Bada have casually flirted, it’s never gotten this bold. Whatever happened while you were in the bathroom must have seriously messed with her brain. Maybe she’s experiencing face blindness and thinks you’re someone else.
"Oh, how so?" you ask, playing along, testing the waters.
"I can show you," she says, placing a hand on the side of your face, brushing her thumb across your cheek. She moves her other hand onto your lower back, her grip light, yet firm. You shiver, leaning into her touch.
"What do you think?" she whispers.
"I think I'd like that very much," you admit, feeling her breath on your neck.
"Good," she murmurs, her eyes locking onto yours.
She closes the space between you, and her lips are on yours. She tastes like the fruity wine she had earlier and her chapstick.
You kiss her back, savoring the moment. Warmth and comfort is all around you, enveloping your senses. You pull away after a moment, catching your breath.
"What's wrong?" Bada asks, searching your face.
"Nothing. Everything's perfect," you say, kissing her again.
You don't care anymore. You just want her.
You move your hands, wrapping them around her neck and pulling her closer, deepening the kiss. Her hands trail up and down your sides, sending goosebumps up and down your arms. She bites your lip gently, and you gasp, tugging on her hair.
Finally, after what seems like an eternity, you separate.
Bada exhales, fixing her bangs.
You stare ahead blankly, your mind fuzzy. But, through the haze, you feel a wave of euphoria rush over you, and you have to bite your lip to stop yourself from grinning. There was not a single part of you that would've guessed that you'd end up kissing Bada Lee upon joining Justjerk. Really, you were surprised she even gave you the time of day in the first place. You'd spent months trying to work up the courage to speak to her, and when the chance came, you almost choked and avoided her, too overwhelmed by the mere thought of speaking to her. But, as the old adage goes, life's full of surprises.
Bada twists her head to the side, staring at something, or someone with a furrowed brow.
"Hey, what's wrong?" you ask, placing a hand on her forearm.
"Oh, nothing. I was just looking out for Redllic," she replies, her frown melting into a small, apologetic smile.
The smile that you were trying to hold back disappears, replaced with a cold, hard pit of dread. "What about her?"
"She's over there," Bada nods, tilting her chin. You don't bother to turn to look. "You know that conversation you saw us have? She came up to me and accused us of pretending to get together for the money. Said there was no way we actually got together that fast. I, of course, denied it. Hopefully that kiss will shut her up."
"Oh. That makes sense. Sorry for not being more helpful," you apologize, your voice coming out hollow.
"Don't be," she says, her words rushed. "I didn't tell you about it because I didn't wanna worry you. But, we're in this together, right?"
"Yeah, definitely," you say, attempting to ignore the lump in your throat.
"That's good. Now, what were we talking about?" Bada asks, grinning.
Were you even talking about anything? You can't remember, too preoccupied with the dull feeling in the center of your chest. It's not like you were expecting Bada and you to be an actual couple. You were well aware that whatever relationship the two of you shared was just a facade. But hearing the reason why she kissed you was like a bucket of ice water poured over your head, reminding you of reality.
"I can't remember. Actually, I think I'm feeling a little sick," you lie.
"Oh, are you alright?" she asks, her voice laced with concern.
"Yeah. Don't worry about me. It’s probably something I ate. I'm just gonna head home, I think. You don't have to come with. I'll catch an Uber," you reply, forcing a weak smile.
"What? No, don't waste your money. I'll drive you home. Let me just grab my stuff," she offers, but you shake your head.
"It's really okay. I don't want you to miss out on fun with your friends," you insist, the ache in your throat growing. Why'd she have to be so nice?
"No, I insist. I'll drop you off and come back."
"Bada-"
"Y/N, please," she interrupts. "You're important to me. You're my friend. Helping you out isn't a big deal."
Her words simultaneously break your heart and fix it, and, finally, you give in.
"Fine," you sigh.
She grins. "Now, stay put," she commands, a stern expression replacing her worried one.
"Yes ma'am," you salute.
"Good girl," she teases, and you just stare, your face turning pink.
Bada walks off, and you stare into your glass, the ice having melted. After a moment, she returns, her jacket and backpack slung over her shoulder.
"Ready?" she asks, and you nod, following her out of the bar.
The night is cold and dark, and the stars are shining bright. The sound of the wind fills the air, and your footsteps seem loud, crunching against the ground.
You get to the parking lot and walk over to her car. Bada unlocks the doors, and you open the passenger door before she can do it for you, ignoring the frown on her face. You slide in, put your seatbelt on, and she turns the key, the engine roaring to life.
The ride home is filled with an awkward silence, neither of you sure of what to say. Finally, Bada clears her throat.
"Listen, y/n. Are you upset with me, or something? If I did or said anything to make you mad you, I'm sorry," she says, her voice tight.
"No, it's not that," you assure, and she relaxes a bit. "I'm just feeling sick. Like I said."
"Alright," she sighs.
You arrive at your house, and you unbuckle your seatbelt. "Thanks for the ride."
"Of course. I'm glad I could help. Goodnight," she says, and you nod.
"Night," you say, exiting the vehicle.
You head up the path, the wind causing your hair to fly in your face. As you are about to reach the front steps, Bada pulls her car back, reversing. She rolls the passenger window down, sticking her head out.
"Wait!" she shouts, and you freeze, your hand gripping the railing.
"What?" you call back, confused.
"I-uh...ugh," she exclaims, her forehead wrinkling. "I can't just leave you alone. Not when you're sick. Let me take care of you. Please."
You blink. You just could not get rid of this woman. "I'll be fine," you reply, shortly, turning toward your building again.
"At least let me walk you inside. Then, I'll leave," she offers.
You groan, stopping in your tracks with your eyes closed in frustration. It was too cold for this. "Fine," you mutter.
"Great," she says, and the relief in her voice makes you feel guilty.
"But only for a few minutes. And only because I know how persistent you are."
"Thank you," she says, and the sincerity in her voice makes your chest tighten.
She turns her car off, grabs her backpack, and hops out of the vehicle. You lead her into the building, and the two of you make your way up the stairs, eventually arriving at your door.
You unlock it, and the two of you enter. Your apartment is dark and silent, and the sound of your breathing is loud.
"Well, here it is. It's not much, but it's home," you shrug, flipping the light switch on.
"It's cozy," she smiles, and you can't help but grin, too.
"Yeah. Um, would you like some water, or tea, or anything?"
"No, thank you. I'm okay," she replies, adjusting her backpack straps.
"Alright, then," you say, standing in the entryway.
The awkward silence returns, and the two of you stare at each other, neither knowing what to do. Finally, Bada steps forward, closing the space between the two of you.
"Are you sure you're okay? You seemed pretty distant toward the end of the night," she asks, her features soft.
"Yeah. Like I said, not feeling great. Must have been the food," you repeat yourself  robotically, not looking her in the eye.
She frowns. "I'm sorry."
"Why? It's not your fault," you shrug, avoiding her gaze.
"It is, though. Isn’t it? You're my friend, and I care about you. So, if something is bothering you, I want to know and work it out,” she pauses, a guilt-ridden expression overtaking her features. "If this is about the kiss...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that."
Your stomach drops, and your eyes widen. "What? Why?"
"Because," she sighs, rubbing the back of her neck. "I took advantage of the situation. I should've just told Redllic to fuck off. Or maybe even asked you if you were comfortable with it beforehand."
"You didn't take advantage of me," you argue.
"Still. It wasn't right. I shouldn't have done it. I'm sorry," she repeats, looking at the ground.
"You don't need to be sorry," you insist.
"Really?"
"Yeah," you nod.
"Okay," she says, the crease between her eyebrows disappearing. "Well, then, I guess I should go."
"I guess so," you agree, not making a move.
She hesitates, staring at you. You stare back, your heart racing. She reaches out and takes your hand, giving it a squeeze.
"Goodnight," she whispers, her voice soft.
"Night," you reply, her touch burning your skin.
She releases your hand, turns around, and heads out, the door closing behind her. You watch her leave, your brain going a mile a minute.
You don't know what's wrong with you. It was just a stupid kiss. It meant nothing. But, despite all of that, the pit in your stomach won't go away, and the thought of her lips against yours replays in your mind.
Maybe you were wrong. Maybe it wasn't just a kiss. Maybe it meant everything.
Oh fuck it. Fuck it.
You open the door with a vigor that rivaled that of the Hulk's. "Bada," you call out, sprinting into the hallway.
A few steps down the hall, she freezes.
"What is it?" she asks, turning around, her eyebrows raised.
"Just-just, um," you stammer, your mouth dry. "Come back."
She stares for a second, then smirks. "Okay," she says, walking back with a pep in her step.
Once she reaches the door, she enters, and the two of you stare at each other, unsure.
"What is it?" Bada asks, her face calm.
"I-uh," you start, then swallow.
Fuck. Why was this so hard? Why couldn't you just be honest with her?
"What?" Bada urges, the smirk returning. You look at the floor, the wall, anything. Finally, you take a deep breath, and look her in the eyes.
"I wanted to ask if...you could maybe stay a little longer," you murmur, your cheeks hot.
She raises an eyebrow, her expression a mixture of amusement and disbelief.
"You sure?"
"Yes," you respond, a little too quickly.
She grins, the smirk replaced with a genuine smile. "Then, I will."
"Okay," you breathe, letting the tension flow from your shoulders.
"So, what did you want to do?" she asks, staring at your lips.
"I don't know," you shrug, not taking your eyes off hers.
"Hmm," she hums, stepping closer.
"Uh, did you wanna, uh, watch TV, or something?" you offer, your voice quiet.
"No," she replies, shaking her head.
"What did you wanna do, then?" you ask, your heartbeat fast.
"Something else." She mutters, and without warning, her lips are on yours again.
She wraps her arms around you, and you immediately melt into her embrace, her scent clouding your senses. Like last time, you wrap your arms around her neck. Her tongue slips into your mouth, exploring, and her hands run down your sides, sending chills down your spine. You let out a moan, and she bites your lip, drawing another from you.
Your hands tangle in her hair, and hers cup your ass, lifting you up. She carries you over to your bedroom, per your directions, and places you onto your bed gently. Her fingers graze your thigh, and goosebumps pop up all over your body. You pull away, and her eyes are dark.
"Do you want to do this?" she asks, her voice low.
"Yeah," you respond, and she grins.
She kisses you again, and her fingers inch upward, her hand sliding under the hem of your shirt. She traces your skin, leaving a trail of fire, and your breathing quickens.
"Can I take this off?" she asks, pulling at the bottom of your top.
"Yes," you say, lifting yourself off the bed slightly.
She slides your shirt up, and over your head, tossing it aside. She unhooks your bra and discards it, too.
Her eyes linger on your bare chest, and you watch her pupils dilate. You bite your lip, running your hands through her hair.
"Fuck," she growls, and she pushes you back down onto the mattress, her lips trailing from yours to your jaw, your collarbone, your neck, and finally, your chest.
She sucks and nips at the skin there, and you grip her hair tighter, eliciting a moan. She moves downward, kissing down your torso. When her lips reach the waistband of your jeans, she stops, glancing up at you.
"Do you want me to keep going?"
"Yes," you plead, and her mouth curls into a mischievous smirk.
"Okay," she says, and she undoes the button and zipper of your jeans.
She tugs them off and throws them aside, leaving you in just your underwear. Her eyes are on yours, and you're frozen.
"Please," you beg, and she lets out a deep chuckle.
"Begging already?"
"Shut up," you hiss, and she laughs, before her hands slip beneath the hem of your panties.
She pulls the material off, leaving you completely exposed.
"Fuck," she mutters, her eyes wide.
You squirm under her gaze, suddenly feeling self-conscious. "What?"
"You're so fucking sexy," she breathes, her eyes filled with lust.
"Really?"
"Of course. Do you even know what you're doing to me right now?"
"N-no," you mumble, averting your eyes.
"Look at me."
You obey, her usually warm puppy eyes now darkened into something wicked, capturing yours.
"Do you trust me?"
"Yes," you breathe.
"Good. Now, lay down," she commands, her voice firm.
You comply, relaxing your body. She climbs on top of you, her hand resting on top of your thigh.
"Do you still want to do this?"
"Yes," you affirm, nodding.
"Okay," she says, and then, her hand is between your legs.
Her fingers slide along your wetness, and your breathing quickens. Her eyes are fixed on yours, watching your reaction.
"Shit," you groan, as her finger presses against your clit.
"You like that?" she purrs, her lips ghosting across your skin.
"Mhmm," you moan, her finger circling the sensitive bud.
Her finger slips inside you, and you cry out, throwing your arms around her torso. She pumps slowly, and her thumb brushes against your clit.
"More," you pant, your body trembling.
"Of course," she hums, slipping a second digit into you.
"Ah," you moan, gripping her tightly.
She thrusts her fingers deeper, hitting that special spot within. You gasp, your back arching. You're so wet you can hear the squelch of her digits moving inside you, and you slam your eyes shut, overwhelmed. Her lips meet your neck, her teeth nipping at the sensitive flesh, and your moans are muffled.
"Bada, please," you whimper, her fingers curling against that spongey tissue, the sensation making your toes curl.
"Please what, baby?" she murmurs, her thumb rubbing against your clit, the friction making you shiver.
"Fuck, fuck, I'm close, please," you gasp, your walls tightening around her. "Make me come," you choke, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes.
"I will," she promises, and her fingers thrust harder, her thumb moving faster. You cry, the tension in your abdomen building.
"That's it, baby, come for me," she coaxes, and with one final brush against that sensitive spot, you shatter.
The orgasm rips through you, and you convulse, your vision blacking out. You gasp for air, trying to catch your breath. She watches you, a satisfied smile on her face as she caresses your sides with her other hand.
"Did you enjoy that?"
"Yeah," you say, breathless. "But you didn't finish," you frown, your eyes trailing to her still-clothed form.
"Oh, I will," she says, a smirk reappearing. She rolls over, grabbing her backpack.
"What are you doing?" you ask, sitting up.
"I'm not done with you yet," she answers, her smile devilish. You watch, transfixed, as she pulls out a strap-on and a bottle of lube.
"Oh," you exhale, your core heating. This women was going to be the death of you.
"This okay?"
"The fact that you're casually carrying around a strap-on?"
She smiles, sheepishly. "I like to be prepared."
"But, yes, that is more than okay," you say, licking your lips.
"Great," she says, unbuckling her belt and shrugging her pants off, revealing black boxer briefs. She steps into the harness, pulling the straps tight. She squirts some lube onto her hand, reaching for the dildo, but you stop her.
"Wait-can I?"
"Go ahead," she nods, giving you a smile.
You kneel on the bed, facing her. You gather some lube onto your hand, then coat the silicone. Your hand runs along the length, and your eyes are fixated on the fake cock. It's large, and ribbed, and the mere sight of it makes your thighs squeeze together.
"Like what you see?"
"Yeah," you whisper, looking at her.
She grins, her hands tangling themselves into your hair, pulling you forward. Your lips crash into hers, and she pulls away, her hands tugging your head backward.
"How do you want to do this, pretty girl?"
"I-I don't know," you stammer, flustered.
She chuckles, releasing her hold on your hair. "Lay back down."
You follow her orders, laying back against the pillows.
"Spread your legs," she commands, her tone firm.
You do as she says, your pussy aching. She positions herself in front of you, and leans forward, her lips brushing against your ear.
"Ready?"
"Yes," you sigh, wrapping your arms around her again.
She guides the dildo into you, and the tip teases your entrance, the cool silicone sending shivers through you. She pushes into you, and you gasp, the ribbed surface scraping against your walls.
"Is this okay?"
"Yeah," you moan, squeezing her.
She hums and begins to thrust, hard, the silicone stretching you open.
"Fuck," you cry, digging your nails into her back. Her mouth reaches your neck, sucking, and biting, the sensations overwhelming.
She picks up the pace, your bed squeaking in response, and your hips buck, the pleasure building.
"Oh god, oh fuck," you whine, tears pooling in the corners of your eyes.
"So beautiful," she murmurs, her voice strained.
"Bada, please, faster," you beg, your muscles tensing up.
"Fuck," she hisses, her pace quickening.
"Yes, yes," you pant, the coil in your stomach tightening.
"You gonna come, baby?"
"Yes, fuck, I'm so close," you moan, her words pushing you closer.
"That's it, come for me," she groans, her thrusts getting sloppier.
"Fuck, Bada," you whine, and you break, the orgasm consuming you. You scream as you ride the waves of ecstasy, her name tumbling from your lips. You cling to her, shaking, the intensity nearly blinding.
"Fuck," you whisper, the euphoria fading, and exhaustion taking over.
"That's it, good girl," she whispers, slowing her thrusts.
You let go, sinking into the bed, your mind hazy. She pulls out of you, and removes the strap-on, tossing it onto the floor. She lays down beside you, and you snuggle into her, your head resting on her chest.
"Fuck," you mutter, unable to form a coherent sentence.
"That was fun," she says, her tone teasing.
"Yeah," you sigh, nuzzling closer.
She strokes your hair, her fingers soothing.
"We should get some rest," she says, her voice low.
"Mhm," you hum, your eyes closing.
You feel her place a kiss on the top of your head, and a smile forms on your face. You drift off, a grin still on your face, and a certain someone's heartbeat the last thing you hear.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Bada was nowhere to be seen. After you woke up to an empty bed, you searched your house, convinced she was playing a prank on you. No trace of her, her clothes, her bag. You tried to call her, but her phone was turned off. It was as if she'd vanished into thin air.
And so, there you sat, in your apartment, where you slept with her, alone, wondering if you hallucinated the whole thing. Maybe, the stress of working at Justjerk, the pressure of living up to your expectations had finally gotten to you, and caused a nervous breakdown. But, no. She was there, she was real, and she'd given you the best night of your life. The best week of your life. So, where was she?
As the days dragged on, your heart grew heavy. Your calls went unanswered, texts left on read. You didn't even see her at work. The other teachers at Justjerk asked around about her, but the only answer everyone had was that she'd called in sick. You were worried, confused, and mostly hurt. What had happened? Did she regret it, and that was why she disappeared?
In addition to that, your deadline was approaching. People seemed convinced enough that you two were dating at this point, but it probably didn't look good to show up to the Valentine's Day party without your supposed girlfriend.
You're sitting at home, silently wallowing next to Hoyeon, who is lying on your couch after coming over to your house to edit because of her noisy neighbors. While you're aimlessly shifting your oatmeal around in its bowl, you hear her slam her laptop shut with an exhale.
"Y/n, is everything okay?" she asks, her tone concerned
"Yeah, I'm fine," you say.
She shifts on the couch. "Really? Cause it doesn't seem like it."
"It's nothing," you shrug, pushing the bowl away.
"Come on, you can talk to me."
"I just-," you start, before pausing.
"Take your time," she says, her voice gentle.
"I think something's wrong with Bada," you say, quietly.
"Isn’t she sick?"
"I don’t know. I don’t think so. I actually haven't seen or heard from her since, uh, last week. And she won't answer my calls or texts."
"Huh, that's weird. Why?"
"I-I don't know. She just up and left. We had sex, and the next morning, she was gone. Like she'd never been there," you confess, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes.
"Hey," Hoyeon says, reaching over and rubbing your shoulder.
"I'm sorry. I'm just-,"
"It's okay. You're allowed to feel this way. I mean, who does that to their girlfriend? That's horrible," Hoyeon huffs, a look of indignance crossing her features.
You cough. "We're not-we're not really dating. Well, I think we aren't," you admit.
She stops her ministrations. "What do you mean?"
"We-uh, pretended to date. To win the contest."
She blinks, processing this in silence. Then, she lets out a loud guffaw, the force causing her to slip off the couch and land on the floor.
"What's so funny?" you ask in disbelief.
"You-you are so ridiculous," she manages, her body shaking with laughter.
"Ridiculous? Why?"
"Do-do you not realize that the two of you have been pining over each other since the day you started at the studio?"
"Wh-what? No. We have not," you insist.
"Yes, you have," she giggles, wiping a tear from her eye.
"How could you tell?"
"It's so obvious! Listen, I don't know what kind of weird situationship you guys have gotten into but I don't think anyone is pretending to like anyone, here."
"But she left me!" you argue, exasperated.
"Maybe she was being stupid. Or embarrassed. Who knows? But, she definitely has a thing for you. She's been bothering the videographers forever asking for you. Were you the one who suggested you fake date?"
You blink. "No.”
She laughs again, picking herself up off the floor. "Exactly. Now, have you told her how you really feel?"
"What? No."
"Then, go do that! That's probably why she ran for the hills. Just go to her house and confess."
"I-okay. You're right," you say, standing up.
"Damn straight I'm right. Now, go get your woman," she grins, ushering you towards the door.
You give her a smile, and step outside, a new sense of confidence flowing through you. What were you so afraid of anyway? She wouldn't have done all that she did if she didn't care about you, right? You needed to find her, and tell her. Tell her everything.

After driving to a random neighborhood and being hit with the realization that you had no idea where Bada lived, you receive a text from Hoyeon just in time with an address.
The sun was just beginning to set, and the sky was a beautiful gradient of blue, pink, and purple. You drive for a bit, eventually making your way to a more residential area, until you find yourself parked outside of an apartment complex.
You exit your car and make your way inside. When you arrive at her unit, the door opens before you can even knock.
"Oh, y/n, hi," Badi says, her voice raspy, her eyes wide.
She looks unlike herself. Her hair is unkempt, her skin paler than usual. Her clothes are rumpled and her eyes are red, like she's been awake for days.
"Hi, are you okay?" you ask, worried.
"I've been better," she shrugs, looking away.
"Can I come in?"
"Oh, uh, yeah, sure."
She steps aside and you enter. The interior is what you'd expect from her; tidy, and simple.
"Are you hungry?" she offers, gesturing towards her kitchen.
"No, I'm good. Thanks."
"Okay."
You stand in the middle of her living room, the tension growing by the second.
"I've been trying to reach you," you start, tentatively.
"Oh, yeah, sorry, my phone's dead," she lies.
"Really? Because, the first few times I called, it rang," you say, crossing your arms.
She sighs, and walks over to the couch, flopping down. "I'm sorry," she mumbles, burying her face in her hands.
"Sorry? For what? Leaving me alone in bed, with no explanation, not answering my calls or texts for the past week, and lying to my face?"
"I didn't mean to-,"
"Why'd you run?"
"Because I was scared," she says, looking up.
"Of what?"
"This," she admits, gesturing between the two of you.
"You're not scared of anything," you scoff.
"I'm scared of you, y/n."
"Me? Why would you be scared of me?"
"Because I've liked you ever since the day you walked into the studio. I wasn't lying when I said I think you're amazing. And then I didn't want to ruin the friendship that we built."
"So, you pretend to be my girlfriend, sleep with me, and then leave without a word?"
"I'm sorry. I wasn’t initially planning on doing things this way. But you brought up the fake-dating and I thought maybe if we pretended, that'd be enough. It wasn't, and I let my feelings get  ahead of me. And, I'm sorry," she confesses, her gaze dropping.
You review that first meeting you had in the dance studio. For the first time, you realize that Bada actually didn’t suggest fake-dating you. You did. She just proposed that you approach things romantically, rather than platonically. Which could have easily been her attempt at asking you out.
Whoops.
You exhale slowly, sitting down next to her. "You know, it's funny. I was coming over here to tell you the same thing. You're really special to me. And, I didn't know how to express that for real. So, I thought, if I was in a fake relationship with you, then it would be easier to do that. Guess, I was wrong too," you say, smiling sadly.
"So, does that mean-,"
You roll your eyes. "Yes, Bada, I like you."
"Oh," she says, smiling, looking away again.
You bite down on your lip. "So, what are we gonna do now?"
She fully turns toward you, a hopeful gleam in her eyes. "I guess, we can start over. If you want. Go on a real date?"
"Sure," you reply, a warmth blossoming in your chest.
"Cool," she says, her expression brightening.
"Cool," you echo, the two of you grinning, staring at each other like idiots.
"Can I kiss you?"
"Please," you whisper, and she leans forward, her lips capturing yours.  You close your eyes, sinking into her touch, the worries, and anxiety of the past week disappearing. Who would've thought that a silly team-building exercise within your company would have ended up leading to this? You almost wanted to ask Bada to pinch you, but, the feeling of her hands cupping your cheeks, and the taste of her mouth, was enough to reassure you that this was real-that the whole thing had been real the entire time. And now that you knew it was, you couldn't wait to explore it further, and discover more about the beautiful woman next to you, who has stolen your heart.
Or, maybe you should give that credit to Cupid. After all, the Cupid Project turned out to be way more successful than you, or Youngj, could've ever imagined.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Not.
"How did we lose?!" You nearly screech, watching Hoyeon and Howl stand in the middle of the room with a check in their hands.
Bada stares at them with a frown. "I don't get it either. Isn't Hoyeon a lesbian?"
Youngj appears out of thin air, sliding into your line of sight. More accurately, it is his bright red fuzzy sweater with pink hearts that captures your eye. "Irrelevant to the contest. Remember, this project was not meant to encourage new workplace relationships."
"But—"
"Nope," he pops the 'p', "You two are very cute, but you lost because you two idiots were already in love with each other, and were just too stupid to admit it. You didn't even need to be a part of the cupid project."
You groan.
"On the bright side, we have free heart-shaped sugar cookies in the corner. Congratulations, Y/n and Bada, on a job well done. Please don't break up, because I do not want to deal with any workplace drama. Goodbye." He disappears again, leaving the two of you staring at the ground.
You guess you were gonna have to say goodbye to that camera, as well.
Bada turns to you, offering a small smile. "Are you okay?"
You shrug. "It's alright. I didn't need the money anyway. I got something much better out of this whole thing."
She blushes, her cheeks matching the color of her plain red sweatshirt. "Ew."
"Oh shut up," you say, swatting her arm with a laugh.
She rubs her arm, her bottom lip jutting out.
You sigh, pulling her into a hug. She buries her face in your neck, humming. "Well, I guess I don't need to give you the gift I got you for today, then."
"Gift? Wait, what?" You say, shoving her away in shock.
She bursts into laughter, raising a bag that she's been holding silently behind her back. "Of course. I couldn't not get my girlfriend something for Valentine's Day. I've been hiding it the whole time. Here."
You grab the bag, opening it. You pull the gift out of the bag, and a soft gasp leaves your mouth.
It's the camera.

All Hallow’s Eve, chapter 1
Cordonian Royal Palace
"Ellie, you're so funny," William howled in laughter.
"It'll be great," Eleanor insisted, her eyes lighting up with excitement. After describing her plans to her brothers, she was determined to make her idea happen.
"Drake will never see it coming," Stefan agreed, giggling.
"Okay, now I need Uncle Leo and Uncle Maxwell." Puling out her phone, Ellie tapped -
Ramsford Country Club - Golf course, 11th hole
"Nice swing, Your Majesty," Drake smirked slyly.
Liam chuckled, "I can't believe it took us so long to do this."
"Yeah, well, ruling a country takes a lot of time," Drake laughed.
Handing his club to his caddy, Liam sighed, "So, what do you think of the club?
"I have to admit, it's pretty awesome."
"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself."  Liam took a swig of water.
"I could get used to this," Drake replied, sipping on a cold beer.
"We should do this more often."
"That would be great, Li"
Liam's phone vibrated, and he pulled it out to answer a call from his daughter...
'Hi, Daddy, can you give Uncle Drake a message?'
'What is it, Princess?'
'Tell him - Gotcha.'
Chuckling, Liam replied ...
'Okay, sweetheart. I will.'
He put his phone away, with a puzzled look, and decided not to question her.
"Ellie ... wanted me to tell you ... 'Gotcha'."
Noticing Liam's expression --"What is it?" Drake asked with hesitation.
"I'm not entirely sure, Drake. Give her a call later. Riley is planning a surprise party tonight for the kids."
Drake looked puzzled. "What the hell does that mean?"
Grabbing another club from the caddy, Liam shook his head. "Yeah, well ... she has a costume waiting for me to wear."
"Really? ...they are going to enjoy an American tradition...New York style."  Drake chortled, "Knowing Riley, she will pull out all the stops."
Snickering, Drake added, "I want to hear all about it."
Liam raised an eyebrow, "That's a hard NO! Now, let's finish up our round."
"Sure, Your Majesty."  Drake continued to snicker.
Meanwhile, in the clearing behind Drake's cabin.
"Okay, Ellie, you're the mastermind, what do you need us to do?" asked Leo.
"We're gonna need a ton of fake spiders, some black cloth, and lots of fake cobwebs."
"On it!" Maxwell cheered. I had all the supplies dropped off after he left for the golf course.
"And the fog machine!" Ellie looked pleased, as Maxwell uncovered a cage beside it.
"That's diabolical!" Leo sneered as he opened a box of plastic bats and spiders.
"...and ... la meillure partie."  (the best part)...
"Perfect," she giggled.
"What else, Ellie?"
"Hmmm. I know, we can add sound effects for the bats, and the fan will swirl and make the spiders come alive."
"How'd you get these ideas anyway, Ell?"
"From the best horror movie ever made," she replied proudly.
"Which one is that?" asked Leo.
"Nightwing."
"That's an old movie, isn't it?"
"Yes, it is," she replied, "but it's the best."
"I'm surprised the nanny let you watch that," said Maxwell.
"She didn't. Mom did, though."
"Oh, man, your mother's gonna kill me," Leo groaned.
"Don't worry, Uncle Leo, this will be so worth it," Ellie giggled.
"I'm still not sure about this, kid. You really want to pull this prank on Uncle Drake?"
"Trust me, Uncle Max, I promise I won't tell anyone," She insisted.
"If you say so, kid."
"All right, Ellie, we're ready," Leo called out.
"Awesome, let's get started."
They placed the fake spiders all around the cabin and draped the black cloth over the furniture.
"What's next?"
"We need to put the real bats in the rafters."
"The real bats? How did you find those?" Maxwell gasped. "That is so cool!"
"I ...may have asked one of the menagerie guards in Valtoria." she replied proudly.
"Damn, Ellie," Leo cackled. "I am so proud of you!"
"Thanks, Uncle Leo. Now, let's get started."
After their plan was set in motion, they hid behind the bushes and waited outside of Drake's log cabin.
As the fog machine began to create a thick haze around the cabin, the lights inside flickered on and off, and the sounds of bats echoed throughout all the rooms inside.
"Holy crap," exclaimed Leo.
"It looks like the set of a horror movie."
"It's perfect," Ellie beamed.
"Wait until he comes back."
"What do we do then?" asked Leo.
"Hide, of course. I'll tell you when to jump out."
"Sounds good to me."
***
Drake was exhausted after his round of golf with Liam. He couldn't wait to relax by the fire with a cold beer and some good music. Not paying particular attention to the fog outside.
However, when he walked into the cabin, his entire body went rigid.
He was met by a sea of cobwebs and fake, moving spiders.
The lights flickered, and the sound of bats echoed through the air.
"What the fuck?!"
Trying the light switch, Drake felt something flutter on his head.
"This is not fucking funny!"
He searched the cabin but found no one.
"Come out, now!"
Suddenly, the front door slammed shut, and Drake was trapped inside in the dark.
"This isn't funny anymore!"
"Whoever did this is going to be grounded until their kids have kids!"
"I'm serious, now!"
Drake's blood was boiling, and he was fuming.
"I don't have time for this bullshit!"
Suddenly, the music began to blare, and the fog machine created a thick haze.
The sound of bats echoed throughout the area, and the lights flickered on and off.
Drake was furious, and he stomped over to the stereo, slamming his fist on the button.
The music stopped, and the cabin fell silent.
But the real bats kept flying, and the sounds of bat chirps were all around him. He grabbed a broom and began to knock them down.
"Fucking bats!" he screamed.
"Who the hell thought this was a good idea?"
"It's not fucking funny, Ellie! If you're watching this, it's not fucking funny! Your dad is going to hear about this!"
Drake was so angry that he didn't notice the front door open, and he was oblivious to the footsteps approaching.
"Drake?" Liam called out.
"Fuck!"  Drake jumped at the sound of Liam's voice, and his heart nearly stopped.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"I came to check on you. I heard your yells when I dropped off your clubs on the porch. You forgot them in the SUV."
"I'm fine," he grumbled.
"Why is it so dark in here?"
"It was like this when I came in."
"I see. So, you're hiding from the spiders."
"Fuck no! I'm not afraid of fucking spiders!"
"Okay, then let's turn on the lights and get rid of these."
"Fine."  Drake exhaled loudly.
Liam flipped the switch, and the cabin was bathed in light.
"Better?"
"Yes, much better."
"Good. Now, why don't we have a seat and relax."
"Fine."
They sat on the couch, and Drake poured himself a drink.
"So, do you have any idea who could've done this?"
"Not entirely sure," Drake sighed, taking a sip of his whiskey.
"Well, it was a clever prank."
"A clever prank? It's not funny, Li."
"Of course not. But, come on, Drake. You have to admit, it was creative."
"It was not fucking funny. Someone needs to ground her."
"Who?
"Eleanor."
"My Ellie? She did this?"
"That's it?"
"I think she had some help from Leo and Maxwell. She sent that message 'gotcha' to me, and I'm sure they helped her pull this off."
"Yeah, that's it. And I know for a fact that this was her."
"How?"
"Because she's the only one who can get away with shit like this."
"Drake, come on, she's just a little girl."
"She's twelve, Liam, and she's too smart for her own good. She is just like her mother."
"Hey, I resent that."
"It's the truth. Your wife is always coming up with some scheme or another, and now, Eleanor is doing the same thing."
"Look, Drake, I understand you're upset, but I'm sure she didn't mean any harm."
"You're not the one that was almost scared to death by bats."
"It could've been worse."
"Yeah, well, it wasn't. It was just a stupid prank."
"Look, Drake, I'll talk to her. But, come on, it's Halloween, and she's only twelve. Cut her some slack."
Drake breathed out loudly, hanging his head.
"I'll make sure she apologizes to you, too."
"Well, I can't argue with that."
"That's all I ask... now, I need a fucking drink."
As the two friends relaxed by the fire, Drake decided to let his guard down and enjoy the moment.
He couldn't believe Eleanor was able to pull off a prank like that. She had to have had help. He knew she had a mischievous side, but he never expected her to be so bold.
"Well, I'm glad you find this amusing," Drake grumbled looking at Liam.
Liam, on the other hand, was amused by the whole situation. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself at the thought of his daughter scaring Drake.
"Drake, come on, the princess just wanted to have a little fun. And, let's face it, you can be a bit of a grouch sometimes."
"Gee, thanks."
"It's the truth. And you know it."
"Fine, I may have been a bit grumpy. But that doesn't excuse the fact that she scared the shit out of me."
"Again, she's only twelve, and you were in no danger. I'll talk to her."
"Good, thank you."
As the two friends relaxed by the fire, Drake couldn't help but wonder what else the princess would get up to in the future.
"Here's to Eleanor Rys and her sense of humor," Liam said proudly, raising his glass.
"May she always find joy in life, even if it's at the expense of others."
"And here's to you, Liam, for putting up with me," Drake chuckled.
"Cheers."
They clinked their glasses together and drank deeply, enjoying each other's company.
They had no idea that their princess had already hatched a new scheme in her head, and she was determined to get the upper hand on her uncle Leo.
It was going to be a long Halloween season.
As Drake and Liam enjoyed their drinks, the princess and her uncles were having a celebration of their own outside the cabin.
"Did you see his face?" Leo chuckled.
"That was epic," Maxwell added.
"You were brilliant, Ellie," said Leo.
"Thanks, Uncle Leo," Ellie giggled and hugged her uncles.
"Happy Halloween."

friday 3rd march, 2023.
after returning to your hotel room, the sun had already set and the moonlight was the only thing currently illuminating you as you stood there. thinking about what had just happened in the small timeframe you were at work. on your first day. you sat down onto the bed and sighed. its not like you weren't flattered that the world famous charles leclerc was, well what you thought, flirting with you. and of course he was undeniably handsome, yet having only just met there was something in the way he looked at you, which you had never seen before. and it made an odd feeling rise up in your stomach when you thought about it.
to try to get your mind off it, you started getting ready for bed. taking a nice warm shower and then doing all your skincare. your hotel was very nice, clearly the company you worked for had splurged out in hospitality for their employees and you were very thankful for it. with a small sigh you collapsed on the bed, exhausted from the day that you'd just had.
lying in bed you decide to check some of your socials, to see what some of your friends from uni and school were up to. you only told your closest friends about your job when you first applied, afraid that somehow you might jinx it. a small befell your lips at how much has changed in a matter of months.
clicking onto instagram you notice you had a new follower, your instagram was public but you didn't have many followers anyways, only people who knew you closely followed you, so you were a little surprised. you definitely didn't expect this.
new notification- charles leclerc started following you.
your mouth dropped open in pure shock. how did he find you? when you introduced you only gave your first name, there was nothing else that said your full name. during both of your interactions with charles your name badge was shoved into your bag. with wide eyes you clicked onto his profile. fuck, of course you were already following him. before you began your new job you immediately followed every single driver on the grid, it was your job of course to know all of the gossip.
a small groan escaped your lips and you shook your head. he clearly had asked about you, how else did he find your instagram? jesus, this guy really isn't giving up. you weren't going to deny having a man like charles practically stalk you was flattering, but also added to your annoyance!
you only had a handful of posts on your instagram, most of them were you with our friends. a few of you by the beach somewhere, in a cute little bikini. of course you looked great. it was your second recent photo which caught your eye, you remembered the memory with a smile. it was a slideshow of pictures with you and your best friend luke, you two were both pretty drunk and did a small makeshift photoshoot in his apartment. you had also posted the pictures that same night, and boy did you look good. wearing a little dress that skimmed over the top of your thighs, the moonlight bounced delicately across your skin, accentuating your curves in the best way.
the first photo on the slideshow however was a picture of you and luke together, a selfie taken by you. your hand holding up the phone above you both, so you could see his hands wrapped tightly around your waist, you were smiling and pressing a friendly drunken kiss on his neck, while he laughed. looking back, the photo did really look like you two were a couple, but you knew that wasn't the case. he was one of your closest mates, and things never went further than that between you both, due to mutual respect for the friendship.
today you saw how possessive and jealous charles could get, if he had seen these pictures then you were a little terrified for tomorrow. he would obviously bombard you with questions and you were definitely not looking forward to it. with a dramatic sigh you rolled over to your side, placing your phone onto the table beside you and attempted to fall asleep.
saturday 4th march 2023 - qualifying day.
you awoke with your alarm blaring into your ear, and a pit in your stomach. of course you were excited to witness the first qualifying of the season, and your career. but there was someone you were hoping to avoid. hopefully today you would meet the rest of the drivers, and could be preoccupied by them and their quali results.
┊┊┊┊ ➶ ❁۪ 。˚ ✧
you arrived at the circuit with a smile on your face. you were determined to make a great impression to the rest of the drivers and prove that you were smart, qualified, and not in this business just for the ‘good looking’ drivers. you had on a pretty outfit, which made your confidence levels skyrocket, aiding you in setting a good first impression. light wash denim jeans hugged your body perfectly, with a little flare at the bottom and  two red stars on the butt. red boots underneath tying in with the red stars on your jeans, and a pretty white top to tie it all together. maybe your outfit was a bit much for work, but this was the first race of the season, and you had to come in with a bang.
the circuit was even more packed than yesterday, fans eager to see where their drivers would end up on the grid. after pushing through the swarm of people you finally arrived into the sky hq, greeting everyone warmly you then sat down. your boss, then comes up to you, greeting you with a small polite smile and hands you a folder. he perches against your desk.
“morning y/n, amelie is going to be doing the post quali interviews today, i was hoping you could tag along with her after you finish some paperwork.” he motions down at the folder now in your hands.
“sure thing!” you reply back enthusiastically, a large smile on your face.
“good, and also great work with the ferrari drivers yesterday, i've had some great feedback from them, all good things!” he chuckles and then began walking alway to greet the other employees. so, charles has been talking about you. god, it's been one day. Rubbing your hands over your face to snap back into work mode, you then began working through the excessive amounts of paper from the folder.
┊┊┊┊ ➶ ❁۪ 。˚ ✧
you were finally done, it was around 12pm so you and amelie decided to go grab some food. there was still another few hours till qualifying, as it's in the evening today. after grabbing your begs you exit the small office and are hit with the warm days heat. you close your eyes for a moment, basking in how nice the heat feels on your face.
“okay, so you've only met the two ferrari guys, so i was thinking i could introduce you to some more of the grid? so you are more familiar during interviews?”her works quickly snapped you out of your relaxed state as you listened in cautiously. you were excited to meet some other drivers, you just hoped that charles wasn't around when you did. in the way she spoke you knew she wasn't really asking you, she was going to make you go either way.
“that sounds like a good idea.” you replied softly with a smile.
“perfect let's go, most of them just hang around their own hospitality areas, but if they're good friends they may be sitting together.” she explained, and you listened, nodding your head. she started walking down the paddock, first we passed the mercedes hospitality, but neither george nor lewis could be found.
“most likely they are having a meeting, or lewis is in his trailer.” she explained.
you simply hummed in agreement, your journey through the grid continued as you two walked by the red bull hospitality. you noticed max first, a group of men around him. they were all sitting at a table. then you clocked who they all  were. max, charles, carlos, pierre, lando and daniel. they were all wearing their team's shirts paired with some jeans or simple trousers. they were all sitting outside due to the warm temperature, laughing at a joke one of them had said. you didnt realise they were all good enough friends to be able to sit and chat together. they hadn't noticed you and amelie at first, although you were sure if charles back wasn't facing you he would have spotted you instantly.
“jackpot!” amelie whisper shouted and motioned for you to follow her. you stay in your spot. suddenly feeling extremely nervous.
“you know i'm not feeling too good actually, i think i need to sit down. you go ahead.” she looks at you like you'd just kicked a puppy. eyebrows shooting up her forehead.
“no! come on it'll be quick, just introduce yourself, they are all so lovely i promise!” she's still lightly holding your arm and sending you a reassuring smile. yet you really didn't want to face charles right now.
“honestly amelie, its okay. i can meet them all later.” you spoke a little louder than anticipated, your words all rushing out at once. clearly one of the drivers had heard the commotion behind them because their conversation had also died down, and you could feel their eyes on you both. fuck.
before you could make any move to leaves, amelie turns around and smiles at the drivers politely. and lets go of your hand, which she was practically pulling you with. before either of you could speak max send you a smile and nods at you both. you were scared to even look in charles direction, so you quickly angled your eyes to the floor.
“amelie, y/n. how are you both?” max says, he then motions with his hand for you two to come over to the table.
“y/n is the new reporter for this season. she's going to be working very closely with the different teams, so you'll probably be seeing her a lot!.” max explains to the group. you nod shyly and then all of the men start introducing themselves one by one. politely extending out their hands for you to shake.
carlos smiles up at you and sends you a knowing nod, as you had already met. “good to see you again y/n”
“you too carlos.” you reply politely.
charles didn't say anything though. his eyes simply trained on you, you finally built up enough courage to look at him. he didn't smile this time. his eyes dark and piercing into you. the tension between you both was obvious to the rest of the group and amelie, who thankfully  awkwardly cleared her throat and began talking.
“okay, we're off to grab some lunch, good luck for qualifying! great seeing you!” amelie says, a warm smile on her face, and you can tell why she is really great at her job.
the group of drivers all mumble out polite replies, and some small waves go around the group. all except charles. he sat there, arms crossed and a somewhat angry expression on his face. eyes switching between you, or the group of his friends. he'd been watching how they reacted when they saw you, and the way they looked at you. a pit of jealousy had formed deep in his stomach.
“good luck.” you smiled out, trying to maintain a polite expression on your face. as you both begin to walk away, you hear a deep familiar voice behind you. charles. he calls your name again. you pause, then quickly turn around, not wanting to appear rude or give an unpleasant impression to the drivers.
“could I speak with you? just for a moment.” he informs you. fuck, well you couldnt exactly say no.
“sure.” you indulge him, but your voice comes out a little snappy and annoyed. the group of drivers exchange some confused looks, and amelie awkwardly wavers behind, before informing you she'd meet you by the coffee stand, you send her a smile and reassuring nod and she's off.
charles begins walking through the paddock, and you awkwardly trail behind him. the tension filled silence just fuels your nerves even more, so you feel like you must say something before you explode.
“char-” before you could even finish his name he stopped you. and you then suddenly realised he'd stopped walking and you were both standing by his driver's room. another wave of nerves floods over your body. you know for sure you're not going in there with him.
he spoke your name, and it broke you out of your panicked train of thought. you look up at him but stay silent. awaiting what he has to say.
“i am sorry, if i've…” he pauses for a few moments as if he's searching for a good way to phrase what he's about to say. you're just shocked that he's about to apologise for something.
“if i've given you the wrong impression or anything. you have a boyfriend and I have a girlfriend.” another pause, and as he says those words you can tell that his ‘apology’ is half assed and clearly not how he truly feels.
“yesterday was a stressful day, so i am again sorry if i behaved rudely.” his eyes were trained to your face while he spoke, attempting to catch your eye but you were purposefully avoiding his gaze. his words annoy you even more. why is he apologising now? what after he thinks you have a boyfriend then he backs off? does he actually think i believe him?
“well thank you for your apology i guess.” you reply. trying to switch this conversation so you have the upper side. “but I don't have a boyfriend, and even if I did that wouldn't be my reason for staying away from you” with that you send him another sly smile and begin to walk away. feeling somewhat triumphant over what you've done. yet suddenly a hand wraps tightly around your wrist and pulls you back. your body slamming against his, his breath tickled against your ear as you hear his slow melodic breathing.
“it's rude to leave when the conversation is not finished. ma belle” my beautiful.

Pairing : Miguel O' Hara X Reader
Genre : fluff, tiniest twinge of angst
Summary : Miguel's not very happy when he finds out you've walked home by yourself last night(morning)?
Wordcount: 1.3k
[ A/N: Here's pt.2 : D. I've decided I'm making this a little connected one shots book.]
Miguel O'Hara Masterlist
Tumblr media
" You didn't text me when you got home last night." Miguel suddenly spoke, breaking the comfortable silence that was between the two of you.
Yesterday, you had been taking care of him as he was sick, pampering him a little extra because he deserves it. The two of you had eventually fallen asleep, with you waking up around 3 in the morning and heading back home.
You look up from where you're seated on his desk chair, having been busy playing Good Pizza, Great Pizza on your phone. His back is turned to you, eyes focused on the different screens showcasing the Spiderverse and whatever else.
" Oh, uh, yeah. I must've forgotten. I was so tired, my head went straight for my pillow once I got home." You shrug.
He hums in understanding, although he's a little curious. Who dropped you off last night? He's made it very clear before that he doesn't want you to walk home by yourself at the ungodly hours, no matter how short the walk to your house is. You're the last person he has in his universe (and outside of it, for that matter.) The only person who knows him better than anyone. He'd be damned if something were to happen to you. The thought of it already sets him on edge.
" Who brought you home?"
" Oh, uh, I did-"
" What?" Now he turns to look at you, a displeased look in his eyes.
" What? Everyone was asleep." You shrug.
You turn to look at your phone again, wanting to avoid the look in his eyes. He whisks the device from your grip as you do so, setting it aside on his desk. It's still whitin your reach. When you look up at him again, he's got his arms crossed, a strict look his face.
" I hope you know that I would've thrown whatever's in my reach if you were any of the other spiders. " He points out.
You roll your eyes.
" What, you give them bedtimes too? I can take care of myself. You've taught me enough self defense by now. I know how to handle myself." You huff.
He's aware how you dislike with how careful he's often being.
" I know you can, but you also know why I'm so careful with you. Just wake me up next time you're leaving early in the morning."
" While you're sick? No. Besides, you're barely resting as it is, I'm not waking you the rare times you're asleep." You point out.
You get up from his desk chair, stepping closer to him as you unfold his arms, taking one of his hands in yours.
" Stop worrying about me so much. I'm fine. Take a little more care of yourself maybe though. For me?" You ask him.
He sighs, eyes showcasing emotions he usually hides.
" Just stay over if you don't want to wake me up. We fall asleep together anyway, We can wake up together too."
He's not looking you in the eyes as he speaks, eyes on your joined hands, admiring the size difference. You're not looking at his face either, understanding how he feels. He's glad you're not looking at him, his cheeks having gotten the faintest of pink. It scares him how much he likes the idea of waking up with you.
" I guess we can do that. If it makes you feel better." You hum.
A flash of surprise passes through his eyes, but it's not caught by you. It's not everyday your crush says yes.
However, your sweet moment is broken up when the sound of the door is heard, and so Miguel steps away from you. You give him a small smile before picking up your phone again.
" Oh, Hey Y/N. Since when are you here?" Jessica asks as she steps in the room.
" Uhh, a while? No idea. Speaking of time, I gotta go. My shift starts soon." You say, suddenly realizing the time.
Miguel wordlessly lets the platform go down, but you don't have the patience to deal with that.
" Don't jum-" He sighs as you do so anyway, landing with a loud slam on your knees.
This isn't the first time you've done this, and most probably not the last.
" I don't have the patience for that wacky thing. Anyway, see you around. Maybe I'll be back later, maybe not. Bye!" You tell him with a smile, turning to the exit.
You greet Jessica on your way out, giving her a quick hug before finally leaving.
Jessica looks after your form as you leave, before turning to Miguel with a knowing smile. Miguel ignores the look in her face, instead getting straight down to business.
" How'd it go?" He asks her.
" Well, the anomaly is caught. He's stuck with the other anomalies downstairs. " She tells him.
He nods, turning around to face the screen again.
" Good."
She knows it's his way if dismissing her.
" Soo, you and Y/N?" She asks suddenly.
Miguel doesn't even glance at her as he responds.
" What about it?"
" Your feelings for her are pretty obvious. You should ask her out." She suggests.
He glances at her with a sigh.
" Not obvious enough for her to notice." He murmurs in response.
She still heard it either way.
" That's only because she's in love with you too. You should ask her out. She's a lovely woman."
" No. I can't treat her the way she deserves. She deserves better than me."
" Maybe. But I doubt she wants anyone else. Just think about it a little more. Y/N is sweet, if you don't make up your mind soon, there's a good chance someone else will ask her eventually. " She points out.
" Yeah, well, we'll see about that."
He's aware he's close with you. Too close. No one would appreciate having a girlfriend who's got a best friend who's constantly at her heel.
The sound of the door opening suddenly sounds again, and you suddenly come running back in.
" Hey, sorry, forgot my jacket." You puff out.
Miguel turns to you right away. He glances at his desk chair, where your jacket is indeed still hanging on it's back. He picks it up wordlessly to throw it at you.
You catch it.
" Thanks!" You call again, before leaving.
A teeny tiny smile graces his lips at your behavior. God, he's smitten for you.
" How do the youngsters refer to you again? I think it was whipped. You are 'whipped' Miguel." Jessica smiles.
Miguel barely huffs at her, instead turning around and pushing a button for the platform to go up again.
" Sure. Do you have something better to do or should I see if there's something to do for you here in the building?" He suggests as he goes up.
" No, I'm good. Say hi to Y/N when she comes back in a few hours." She laughs as she heads out.
Miguel shakes his head, putting it in his hands for a moment before finishing back on the task at hand.
' My feelings aren't obvious.'

The Cat and Dog Game [Chapter 1]
Tumblr media
Genre: Romance, Fluff, Comedy
Pairing: Yunho x Reader (y/n)
Characters: Chef!Reader, RestaurantOwner!Yunho, MaitreD!Hongjoong, Waiter!Yeosang, Waiter!San, Waiter!Mingi, SousChef!Seonghwa, SousChef!Wooyoung, PrepChef!Jongho
Summary: Yunho's dream was to open and run his own restaurant. But he doesn't know anything when it comes to cooking. Until you came along and accepted the job, bringing with you a small crew. How will the black cat tame the energetic golden retriever?
Word count: 3.2K
"Wait, hold on. You're opening in 3 days and you don't have anyone to cook?" Mingi blinked at his best friend. The two of them were seated in the soon-to-be opened cafe/ restaurant.
"I... Look, I had a guy, we spoke over the phone and everything but he ghosted me!" Yunho defended.
"Yeah, he probably got frightened off when you said he was going to do everything solo! I would too. You can't just pluck random chefs off the job ad site, Yun... You have to put together a crew." Mingi sighed, slapping his forehead.
"I'm sorry, okay?! It's my first time doing this. I'm nervous and stressed, I have not been sleeping." Yunho groaned, letting his head drop onto the table.
"You really don't know anything about running a restaurant, don't you?" Mingi scoffed.
"I literally just said this is my first time doing this." Yunho growled.
"I'll ask the others if they have connections. Let's hope lady luck is on your side and the universe can give you a kitchen crew in 3 days." Mingi clicked his tongue, typing away on his phone.
"Why did I do this again? What do I know about running a restaurant?" Yunho asked himself.
"Apparently nothing." Mingi stated.
"Mingi!" Yunho hissed.
"What? I'm just stating the truth. Look, Yunho, you're doing this because this has always been your dream, with your halmeoni. When she passed, she gave you all this money to open your own place. You'll be fine, you have San, Yeosang, Hongjoong hyung and myself. We won't let this place fail." Mingi promised.
"Thank you, Mingi ah." Yunho smiled softly. Mingi was direct but Yunho was glad to have him, knowing Mingi will always encourage and support him.
'Wait, you're opening in 3 days and you don't have a kitchen crew? How are we going to have food? We can't cook! - Yeosang'
'Speak for yourself. I can make great ramen! - San'
'We can't make ramen for our opening! And yes, we have established that Yunho doesn't know anything about restaurant planning and/or what a kitchen crew needs. Move on. - Mingi'
'Gee, thanks Mingi ah. - Yunho'
'You're welcome. - Mingi'
'I may know someone but I think he's just a sous chef. Let me see if he is looking for a job and if he can recommend a crew. I'll keep you posted, Yunho ah. - Hongjoong'
"Let's hope Hongjoong hyung's friend comes through." Mingi told Yunho, sipping his coffee.
"At most, we'll survive the cafe portion. We can all make coffee and help around this gets settled. Only when we can secure a kitchen crew, then we'll have dinner service." Yunho said, trying to calm himself down.
"Yeah. We'll manage. A cafe doesn't need to be fully waited on anyway. We can take turns doing the barista stuff while you manage the counter." Mingi suggested.
"At least the place is done. That's one less thing to stress about." Yunho looked around the empty place.
"And soon it'll be bustling with people. Customers." Mingi smiled.
"I can't wait! I only wish halmeoni was here to see it and be a part of the process." Yunho grinned. It was not easy but he was glad it was finally happening.
"I'm sure she knows and can see it." Mingi assured. Even if he personally may not believe in the afterlife, Yunho did.
"Yes, I hope Joong hyung comes back with good news. Then all will be good and smooth!" Yunho smiled, his mood flipping quickly. Mingi looked at his best friend in amusement, Yunho rarely let anything put him down. But seeing him so happy and excited, Mingi nodded along. He'll help Yunho to make him happy.

*KNOCK KNOCK*
"(y/n)?" You frowned at the person who called your name, squinting one eye open to see who it was that disturbed your sleep. Seeing that it was Seonghwa, you grumbled and closed your eyes again.
"Good you're awake, I need to talk to your about something. Don't go back to sleep." He said.
"Hwa... it's too... early... Come back... another time..." You groaned.
"It's 2pm, darling." Seonghwa stated. Seeing as to how he wasn't going to leave, you sighed and scooted to the side.
"Fine. Come... here..." You said sleepily, patting the space beside you. Seonghwa chuckled and walked over, sitting on the mattress, looking over at you to make sure you're listening.
"Talk... Am listening..." You mumbled into your pillow.
"So one of my old classmates, we're not that close but we add each other on LinkedIn, as people do on a business or acquaintance level. We've only ever seen each other at old class reunions and such, nothing major. " He started. You suddenly raised a hand, making him pause in his speech.
"Hwa... I love you and all. But please, get to the point or I'm going to fall back asleep." You placed a hand on his thigh.
"Right. So, he just texted me. One of his friends is opening a restaurant cafe type thing in 3 days and he needs a kitchen crew. My friend is going to be the Maitre D." He informed.
"(y/n)? Did you hear what I said?" Seonghwa poked you when you didn't reply him.
"Yeah... I did. What idiot opens a restaurant in 3 days and doesn't have a kitchen crew?" You frowned.
"That's what I thought too. But that's beside the point, are you in?"
"You know I don't stay in one kitchen for too long." You finally opened your eyes to look at him. Seonghwa nodded, he was part of your crew. Where you go, he goes.
Wherever you have went, he has went.
"Hang on, let me wake up first. Can you call the others to come over in a bit? I need to clean the kitchen. I was so tired after recipe testing that I completely crashed on the couch. Then made it back to my room at sunrise." You sat up, rubbing your eyes.
"I cleaned when I arrived this morning. But yes, I'll call the others over." Seonghwa smiled, stroking your head.
"Thanks, Hwa." You cracked a small smile. He hummed and stood up to let you get ready. Seonghwa was one of the few people you let have access to your house. You didn't trust people easily.
When you shuffled to your bathroom, you brushed your teeth and washed your face. You changed out of your sleepwear and into more presentable clothes.
"I brought coffee." Jongho said when you stepped out.
"Thanks, Jongho. Life saver." You said with a rubberband in your mouth as you pulled your hair up into a bun.
"Let me move all this." You moved the equipment off the kitchen island and counter. When you designed this house, you didn't care for a dining room area so you extended the kitchen to take up a bigger area of the house. Not like you had people over regularly where you needed a whole dining area.
"Where's Wooyoung?" You asked.
"On the way. He had just woken up." Seonghwa informed. You nodded, leaning against the counter and drinking your coffee.
"In the mean time, I'll make breakfast. Or lunch... I got nice chanterelles yesterday and the gochujang cured bottarga I made months ago might be done." You said and opened the fridge door.
"Are you sure you want to cook? Aren't you tired from recipe testing?" Seonghwa asked.
"I'm fine, Hwa." You waved him off.
"Okay but we're doing the dishes after." Jongho said. You nodded and took ingredients out to cook. Your fridge was full of your recipe testing dishes.
"I'll prep the chanterelles." Jongho got up, putting the expensive mushrooms in a bowl to brush clean.
You made a simple meal of goat cheese, spinach and sundried tomato frittata, grating the gochujang cured bottarga (mullet roe) over the top for a spicy, salty kick. On the side, Seonghwa cooked the chanterelles in a basic beurre blanc with thyme.
"Sorry, I'm late. I got ready the moment Hwa hyung called me." Wooyoung said as he entered.
"It's fine. Sorry for calling all of you to come on your rest day. But Seonghwa has a proposal and it is only fair that all of you are present to hear it. And we can have a meal together too." You told him.
"What is it?" Wooyoung raised an eyebrow, putting his coat over the back of your couch.
"Hi." He smiled to you, hugging you tightly. Wooyoung always liked skinship, you were still getting used to it after all these years.
"An old friend contacted me. He has a friend opening a restaurant in 3 days and he doesn't have a kitchen crew. He seems desperate, on behalf of his friend." Seonghwa informed.
"But (y/n) doesn't stay at one place for so long." Wooyoung pointed out with his fork.
"That's what I said." You chuckled.
"And where (y/n) goes, we go." Jongho added. You softened at that, they didn't need to follow you, they could always have big culinary careers on their own but they still always moved with you, they trust you. You've been together for so many years, you worked well together, like a well oiled machine.
"Besides, are you sure this place would even be good? What kind of restaurant owner looks for a crew 3 days before opening?" Wooyoung raised an eyebrow.
"I said that too." You replied.
"I think we should give it a shot. Don't make promises of staying. We can always test it out. If we don't like it, we leave." Seonghwa said.
"We need more details. What's the concept of the place? What cuisine are they expecting us to serve?" Jongho asked the most important question.
"Oh yeah, I never thought about that. Good thinking, Jong. Hwa?" You nodded in agreement, turning the the tallest.
"Apparently it's a cafe in the morning so pastries and sweets. Night time, restaurant. And if my friend is right, we have creative liberty with the menu. No set cuisine. You like that, don't you (y/n)?"
"I do." You nodded, slightly more tempted and inclined to actually learn more about this now.
"But that's barely a concept. This restaurant owner really has no culinary knowledge, does he? Who lets a random kitchen crew walk in and decide your menu? This is suspicious." Wooyoung shook his head with a frown.
"You think we shouldn't do it then?" You turned to the male. Wooyoung made a face but shrugged, taking another bite of food. That was enough of an answer.
"If all of you feel like we shouldn't do it, then we won't... Simple as that." You crossed your arms.
"Like Seonghwa hyung says, I think we should check it out. If it doesn't suit us, we don't stay. No harm in that." Jongho said.
"What about you, (y/n)? Do you think whould we try it?" Seonghwa asked. You remained quiet for a bit, wanting to collect your thoughts before saying anything.
"You really don't want to do it?" You turned to Wooyoung.
"You know that I'll follow you, no matter what. It's just suspicious, that's all I'm saying." He replied. You looked at Seonghwa and nodded.
"We'll head down tomorrow to check the place out and speak with the owner. But no promises." You decided. Seonghwa took his phone out, presumably to text his friend. You finished the coffee Jongho bought you and headed to the fridge to pour yourself some more from your own cold brew stash.
"Don't go overboard with the caffeine and give yourself a migraine." Seonghwa reminded. You nodded, taking a sip of the cold coffee and took your iPad from the charger.
"Thoughts on the gochujang mullet roe?" You looked at the 3.
"I think it can do better with more days of salt cure. Did you add salt to the gochujang?" Wooyoung asked.
"No. But maybe I will in the future since the sodium content of the gochujang is lower than a miso or just pure salt." You said, noting down their comments and feedback on your iPad.
"Would you try doing a few weeks of salt cure first then moving to gochujang?" Jongho suggested.
"Oh... That's an idea." You raised your eyebrows, intriged now.
"I just realised. If we take this job offer, we'll be expected to churn out pastries and desserts too." Seonghwa said, putting his phone down. The boys all looked at each other.
"You make it sound like you guys can't bake. We have done desserts before, even for full banquet dinners of like hundreds of people. We've made both pastries and cakes." You scoffed at them. Wooyoung and Jongho looked at Seonghwa who sighed softly.
"But (y/n), those were 300 copies of the same dessert. Now, we'll have to make a variety of pastries and cakes for a cafe. On top of a dinner service." Seonghwa explained it to you.
"It might be too much to do for just 4 of us." Wooyoung added.
"Should we not do it then? Or tell them we'll only try out for dinner service?" You asked.
"(y/n) will be fine. She runs on no sleep and coffee." Jongho snorted. You shot him a flat look for exposing you while Seonghwa glared at you, he was always worrying about you and your unhealthy habits.
"Look, I say we meet the owner, find out what he actually wants from us. Then we go from there, okay?" You sighed.
"Okay." The boys said. You nodded with a hum of approval as you slid off your bar stool and shuffled over to your fridge. You took a tray out with ramekins.
"Here. I randomly made smoked creme bavarois last night when my brain couldn't work. These two are Madagascar vanilla and these two are Tahitian." You explained, putting the tray on the island for them. Then you took out a bowl with mixed forest berry compote that you made to go over.
"Let me." Wooyoung took a cooking spoon and carefully spooned just the perfect amount of sauce over each ramekin. Then passing them out to the others.
"Hmm, I always like Madagascar vanilla. Brings out the more floral notes in the berries." Seonghwa sighed blissfully.
"But for infusing into alcohol, Tahitian is nicer. Good with a bourbon and rum." Jongho noted.
"Oh, like that amazing rum cake Jongho made the other time." You smiled, remembering how delicious the cake was, even thought he was nervous about it being a new recipe.
"Yeah I used Tahitian then. That bourbon poaching liquid for the poached apricots the other time was also Tahitian." He informed.
-
That evening, Hongjoong, San and Yeosang dropped by the restaurant. Yunho and Mingi were there, chatting happily as they started to unbox the coffee equipment and tools to set up the barista counter. Yunho looked up when he heard the door open.
"Hey!" He waved happily.
"Good evening. We brought some dinner, guessing you two have been here the entire day." Yeosang said, putting the boxes of fried chicken down on one of the tables.
"Our dear Yunho is too excited for the opening. We might have tod rag him out later or he might sleep here." Mingi chuckled.
"T-That's not true! I just want everything to be perfect!" Yunho defended himself.
"The place really looks great, Yunho ah." San complimented, making the taller male grin proudly. He was ready to start this new adventure with his closest friends.
"Did you hear back from your friend, Hongjoong hyung?" Yunho asked.
"Oh yeah! Right. Their crew would like to come and meet you here tomorrow to discuss things. See what their expectations are and what your expectations are before making a decision. You're free to meet tomorrow right? Don't worry, I'll be here too during the meeting." Hongjoong assured.
"Yes! Tomorrow is great! And did you say 'crew'? Your friend has a kitchen crew that he is a part of?" Yunho blinked. This was working out great.
"Well, I say crew but it is just 4 of them. I don't know much about them but I heard they usually help out at pop up events held by chefs. Or temporary kitchens." Hongjoong explained.
"Your friend, he is the head chef of the crew?" Yeosang asked.
"No. He's the sous chef? His name is Seonghwa. From the way he put it, there is a head chef. There's another sous and a prep chef."
"Wow, even if it is just 4 people. That's 4 more people than Yunho has so you're a life saver at this point, hyung." Mingi laughed. Yunho pouted at his best friend's taunt.
"I'm trying my best!" Yunho exclaimed.
"Hmm, should we test them though? Like ask them to prepare a dish or something? I mean, a lot of people can claim to be chefs but how good are they?" San brought up. The others nodded in agreement while Yunho hummed.
"I would but at this point, I am desperate for a crew. I don't think there is time to 'test' them. Plus, Hongjoong said they work with professional chefs. It shouldn't be that bad, right?" Yunho said.
"Well, that's the information I pulled from Seonghwa's LinkedIn profile... Look, we're not THAT close." Hongjoong raised an eyebrow.
"So we're just waiting to see how they do on Day 1?" San's eyes widened in shock.
"Do we have a choice? We can't be unfair and suddenly ask them to whip up dishes for us tomorrow. And we barely know anything about food ourselves." Yeosang scoffed.
"I see where San is coming from but honestly, if they were such a big shot kitchen crew, they wouldn't work at a brand new restaurant for Yunho." Mingi reasoned.
"What do you mean?" Hongjoong asked.
"Yeah. What DO you mean?" Yunho crossed his arms, suddenly looking at his best friend with the most offended look ever.
"Think about it. Yunho is a first time businessman who is opening in 3 days and doesn't have anyone in the kitchen. They wouldn't risk it and there's no reputation. We shouldn't expect a professional kitchen crew who has worked with Gordon Ramsay. Plus, if they have, Yunho might not be able to afford them." Mingi explained.
"I guess Mingi is right. Look I just want people who cook well. I don't need Michelin meals. We'll go into tomorrow's meeting with an open mind and low expectations." Yunho said to the group.
"Maybe not low... Just, not that high." Hongjoong corrected.
"Right." Yunho nodded in confirmation with a smile. With that, the boys all gathered around the table and dug into the fried chicken.
"Other than the whole kitchen crew situation, I can confidently say that we're good to open. I've got to unpack the silverware, plates, bowls, all that." Yunho updated.
"We'll help with that." San said.
"The shelving is all done and designated with labels so it should be done quickly." Mingi nodded over to the rack.
"I've put the ads out on social media like you wanted and put some posters up around the nearby universities. Seems like there's quite a bit of positive responses online." Yeosang reported. Yunho felt his heart pound in his chest.
"Are you okay?" Mingi asked worriedly, seeing Yunho clutch his chest like he's having a heart attack.
"I'm fine. Just really excited for this. It might not be a smooth journey but I know we'll work out way around the obstacles." Yunho smiled, looking at all his friends.

casper did ended up coming to you. running away from his job to be with you. with love of his life. he would never guess in the life of his he would fall in love with a some mere mortal. after all, hes the grim reaper he shall be feared! but... it ended up in love. in something he never felt before. he was confused at first. oh so confused. he didn't knew what to do. but he did ended up confession to you. and even left his job because he couldnt get himself to collect a soul of his precious mortal. his newfound lover.
"kiss me then, sunshine" he said as he closed his eyes. he was laying on your bed with you on top of him. his hands looking so tempting to just grab and hold... but maybe later. his lips slightly parted waiting for the kiss. his first kiss. you smirk and lean down connecting yours and his lips together in a soft and loving kiss. you didn't wanted his first to be harsh after all. you don't want your pretty boy to have bad first impression on such an important thing after all.
"so, how was it?" you asked after a kiss pulling slightly away. "it... it was great" he replied as he cannot speak such a things like lie. why would he even lie in situation like this?
"i'm glad" you replied and peck his cheek. "but i'm not done, caspy" you chuckle and caress his soft cheek. casper skin care routing really paid off, huh? "well, i have in mind... to help you forget about your awful job, you want me to help you pretty boy?" you asked with teasing tone as he blushed and cleared his throat. "what do you mean by that, sunshine?" he asked blushing. "you will see, cutie" you chuckle. kissing his lips once more. "dont worry, nothing bad" you wink and laugh softly playing with his hair. "dont worry pretty boy... you will loooove it" you smile as he look no so sure but agree anyway. hes curious what might be on your mind even if he can guess alredy.
after a small kissing and talking you pulled away. but he wasnt surprised with it quickly pulling you back into another passionate kiss. his hands wrapped around you neck as his hand is on the back of your head pulling you closer and closer. his breath rapid and hitching as small whimpers leaves his lips as they connect and disconnect from yours non stop. he wanted more. he needed more. he wanted you and you only. his one and only sunshine.
and that's how both of you ended up ex grim reaper face pressed into a pillow as he bite on it to silence his loud moans and whimpers. it's so embarrassing... laying in mortal bed getting fucked dumb from behind by a mortal... but it was his mortal after all.
his hand gripping on the sheets. "s-sunshine" he moan out as you hit his prostate. small tears of pleasure slipping past his eyelids down his cheeks and onto a long time ago drenched pillow. "oh god.. r-righht here!" he arch his back as a pearly white drop of pre cum falls down his dick onto sheets underneath him. your hand massaging and kneading on his ass before sliding up his back and into his hair wrapping them around you'r hand and yanking them to yourslef making him look back. "hey, look at me, pretty boy. i want to see you" you say as his glossy eyes look at you. small sob escaping his lips but soon gets forgotten as slutty moan takes it place and his eyes close.
your thrusts getting sloppier and sloppier as you're close to your finish. you dont even remember what time he will get filled this night. not like it matter. you can fill him up once more.
your hips thrusing your cock in and out hitting casper sweet sweet spot all the times. your balls slapping against his ass making wet clapping sound but its mixed with grim sweet moans anyway. "sunshine.. ah! oh my~ d-dont stop i beg!" he moaned in erotic way gripping the sheets even harder. his brain a mush and heavy blush covering his face from all the crying. "i love you... i- i lohve youh sho sho muchhh" he stutter out as his words are getting slured with every new word he speak until you can no longer tell what hes saying. small 'i love you's sleeping past his lips with various moans, whimpers and squeaks. air getting kicked from his lungs with every hard pound into his now streched out hole. his walls clamping on your lenght as you can feel how they are squeezing even harder.
you didnt even had time to blink as another squirt of cum escaped casper cock head onto the small puddle of cum on the sheets. your moves gently slowing down before you pulled out of him and finished on his back. you leaned down massaging his bruised hips and kissing his cheek. "you did great, casper. such a good and pretty boy for me" you smilled and started the after care.

Hey,
I just wanted to say that seeing your thoughts and opinions on Ashton have been really cool. I'm someone who never connected with Ashton and was struggling to grasp their choices and their opinions as I'm someone who just views the world so differently.
But the way you phrase things, especially stating you love them as a character even if you dislike their choices and framing them in the way you have has helped me understand a little more and even if I still can't say I like Ashton, I can respect them more and Taliesin's choices with playing them and that's nice to have especially when they have been quite vocal the last few episodes with their opinions concerning everything.
You doing great things. Keep going
Hi anon,
Thank you so much! I love this ask a lot and I really appreciate you sending it.
One of my favorite aspects of fiction is being exposed to perspectives I don't share and seeing why a character feels that way. Ashton's behavior this last episode absolutely drove me nuts - but I get it! The shard was only a week ago, and that's not a lot of time to get over their desire to feel wronged and robbed, and so when Ludinus drops a golden example of "here's something else you can use to explain why everything is someone else's fault" in their lap, of course they're going to take it! I think Ashton has, throughout the campaign, really been struggling with the fact that he does have a lot more agency and freedom and power than he is willing to believe or admit, and so a narrative of powerlessness in the face of the gods is very seductive even though it's also a nonsensical one (both because the gods haven't remotely struck anyone down in the present day, and because Ashton themself is claiming the power to decide, for the world, what to do next).
He's overlaying his own personal experiences of trauma over the narrative of what was shown in the Occultus Thalamus, and that's extremely normal and (in our world, anyway) human! We all bring our own biases and experiences to the world and to fiction and view things through a particular lens. It would be weird not to. It's just also important to constantly question "am I reacting to what I actually saw and what is actually there; or am I making assumptions that are unfair to make in this particular setting," and Ashton's not in a place to do that. It's rough to watch at times - I know I'm like "HEY YOU'RE IN THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY, YOU GOTTA CHILL" but it's such a real response I cannot, ultimately, hate on it.
Anyway it is great that you're trying to approach a character who is being abrasive and difficult and very unlike you with thought and compassion, and I am so glad that some things I've said have helped with that.

“I think we should stop seeing each other.”
the last thing you said to Fontaine before you guys became no-contact for weeks.  Lately, you've been worried about Fontaine both mentally and physically. Losing homies and being around streets he got no business being in. but every time you mention any concern for him, his ears go mute. Him saying shit like “I’m cool” and “I’m fine” never cleared your cloud of fear. Yet, he continued his shenanigans. You knew as someone who grew up with a good family and a great upbringing, you shouldn’t be dealing with someone as reckless as him let alone dating. But deep down you loved him. You loved how he had a soft spot for you, or how he always reassured you whenever you were feeling unmotivated or unwell, even when he’d run baths and rub your feet as you rested. You knew Fontaine was a good person, all you wanted was for him to be more careful.
You told yo-yo about your recent breakup and all she could say was
“I told you niggas ain’t shit, at least Fontaine isn’t.” she’s folding her clothes while you sit at her house head to the knees seconds away from breaking down. “He coo’ as a friend but relationship? Girl…. If toxicity was a city, that man would be mayor, believe that!” she whistles. She always did when she talked about anyone. Both bitches and niggas. You didn’t know how to live without him. Not only was he your lover, but he was your friend. Best friend at that. You’ve been through thin and thick together. Being each other’s comfort on different days and different nights. What were you thinking? You couldn’t live without him.
This was three weeks ago
Now, you're sitting at your desk organizing your planner, adding stickers, and color-coding events with colored pens and highlighters till you get a call. You look at your phone and notice the call came from an unknown number. “Now who the hell..” you whispered to yourself. It didn’t take till the 5th ring for you to just say fuck it and answer. You held the phone up to your ear, slowing down your breathing to try and hear something from the other end, till your heart dropped.
“y/n?”
The familiar deep voice. The tone, the way he said your name, everything made your eyes widen from realization.
It was Fontaine.
You frown your eyebrows as your throat tightens. What happened to seperating? What happened to no contact? You felt sick. all of your love, your concerns, and your worries for Fontaine came all at once. You gasped lightly as you whispered his name.
“I miss you, I wanna see you again”
Your heart sinks, just when you’ve already heard enough. You ended things with Fontaine. You were done with him. He should be done with you, so why is he calling you? and from an unknown phone number at that? “See me again? Fontaine, what do you not understand by separating? Your tone obviously sounded pissed. You were upset. This wasn’t gonna help anything between you guys. But deep down, you were happy to hear from him. You were more than glad to know that he’s still alive and okay.
“Look, I know we suppose to be alone n shit but lemme at least see yo’ pretty ass one last time, end things on good terms.”
One last time.
You take a deep sigh.
“That’s it, one last time”
You tried to exchange a place to meet up but he insisted to pick you up and take you out for “lunch n shit.” You started getting dressed, wearing something casual but sexy, to remind Fontaine of what he’s gonna miss out on. Wearing your favorite perfume combinations, lathering your deep color legs with cocoa butter. you made sure to throw on anything Fontaine couldn’t resist. As soon as you heard the two honks from out your window, you knew it was go time.
You open the door to Fontaine smoking. The blunt between both his thick lips and his rough fingers, the view of it could make you bite your lips. Fuck the lunch date and fuck the back seat you needed him in the driver’s seat right then and there! But you wasnt gonna admit that especially with the position you were currently in. he noticed your googly eyes toward him causing his lips to sneak a smile. “Y’tryna smoke?” he lends you the blunt but you shake your head as you shake your hand in the same direction. “I’m here for lunch, not no smoke sesh” you declined. “Mkay” he sets the blunt down as he shifts the gear and drives off. slouching on the car seat, left-hand steering while the other on his thigh, manspreading with the most obvious tent in his pants. The view made your legs quiver.
“You mind if we make a stop real quick?” the male asks without moving his sight away from the street. “Nah do what you gotta do.” you weren’t expecting anything crazy, but you also weren’t expecting him to park in some random ass empty parking lot. “I’d be lying if I said I ain’t miss you,” Taine says. But it was quiet. So quiet that it took time to understand what he said. “taine, don’t start this shit with me, I came here for lunch, not so you can convince me to stay with you while you do what I left you for.” your tone started from upsetness to disappointment. “I love you, and there ain’t nothing that’d change it, but it’s draining having to worry about where you are and even if you’re alive” You look down as you fidget with your hands. “I had to grieve someone who’s still here so I wouldn’t have to once you’re gone.” he understood how you felt but unlike you, he had a rough upbringing. Being around drugs and introduced to dealing at a young age. of course, it was gonna be hard and nearly impossible to get out of what he started in. he loved you dearly but he knew it would be a crazy idea to just up and go. He sighs as he licks his lips.  “Lemme try to figure shit out, I ain’t promising nun, but I’ll try to reduce all the crazy shi, ight?” you look at him with deception. “You sure? I don’t gotta worry about whether ya ass is injured or dead?” you frown. “I ain’t say allat, I said ill try. It’s gonna take time” you sigh. You’re more than happy that Fontaine is at least trying to get out of what he’s in. The awkward silence filled the room quickly.
“But, until then” Fontaine stretches as he lets his seat down. “How bout you tell me why you came out like that, just for lunch” he mocks you as you smack your lips at the question. “Damn, I can’t look good now?” you smile, analyzing Fontaine. You knew Fontaine for years. You knew what he liked and when he liked it, and as of right now, he was ready to take ya ass to poundtown. “Nah, unless there’s a reason you wore them scents ykno’ i like.” you had that man looking up and down in greed and lust and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t feeling the same way either. After moments of intense eye contact, you were on top of Fontaine. grinding your sweats on his jeans, moaning through the messy, passionate kiss, hands holding his locs, desperate for any and all of Fontaine. Hands gripping your ass through your sweatpants, seamlessly and eagerly pulling them off while kissing your glistening breasts as he pulled down the zipper, teasing you as he planted hickies from the neck down. Lord, how were you gonna explain to yo-yo how they suddenly got there?
You knew this was wrong, you knew ‘one last time’ would turn into multiple. But you couldn’t stop.
“I missed you so much, I missed this” he mumbled in between each kiss. Each one being sloppier and more passionate. You couldn’t say anything. You were so caught up in the pleasure that all you could do was sigh and moan. “Damn I see you missed me too” he grins as he rubs his fingers on your clit, spreading the wetness all over your inner thigh. “Don’t you think that’s why I-” You get interrupted by the male’s thick fingers teasing his way inside. You couldn’t do anything but grip his shirt and rub yourself against him to get anything from him. “Please don’t stop Fontaine..” you gasp, lying your forehead against his shoulder. All you could do is gush and melt onto him. “Im not gonna stop ma,  haven’t seen ya’ass in a month and i still know what you like” and with that you fell apart, cuming all over Fontaine hands. Rolling your eyes back and crying, practically screaming his name.
After a moment you finally catch your breath slightly raising your head up to look at Fontaine’s reaction and his cheesy ass was smiling. “Damn you must of really missed me” he laughs at the mess you have yet to see. “huh?” you sigh as you look back and notice a nice-sized wet spot on his pants. “shit im so sorry i didn’t mean to-” you get caught off by a heavy sigh “shit! how we supposed to eat when I look like I dun’ pissed myself” you laugh. “You can wear my sweater around your waist” you suggested but Fontaine had a different idea. “Nah, ima change at the house after i finish what you started” he lazily wraps his arm around you enjoying your defense argument on how he started this whole thing.
We all knew that one last time was gonna be a few.
