Okay okay sorry sorry TMI but

I got a call from my doctor's office saying they keep running into a gap in my healthcare history, where I'm due for a cervical cancer screening but my records show a hysterectomy, but they need the facility that took place in to verify it in order to get rid of the gap

So I said, "Yeah, let me just check my email for the right building real quick" & then said the name, & they asked me for "around the time of year," but I had it in front of me anyways so I said Nov 15 2021, & they were like "🥺 Omg you got the actual date, thank you so much you just made my job so much easier"

I didn't want to come across More like a freak (the "omg you had a hysterectomy that's so saaaad what happened???" comments are already...) so I didn't say that I keep the email confirming my surgery starred bc it makes me happy, but

#text #erin talks #I was going to add a screenshot of the email but it includes private info I don't want to bother censoring thoroughly #but it's been starred since Nov 9th 2021 #I had been petsitting until the 14th so I was like pacing in a family friend's guest room #terrified that my covid test was positive (with no symptoms) & I'd lose the Nov 15 date #& trying to convince myself that if I had to reschedule it'd be like a birthday present #the email was my lifeline re: that anxiety 😭 & now it's just a nice reminder #anyway yeah no I don't have a cervix anymore either ❤️
