About your observation that every time there's a JLA/JSA interaction, there's always the same team ups: isn't it because Geoff writes most, if not all of them? He wrote virtue and vice, the Thanksgiving issue, and most of the post crisis JSA stuff, so.... He probably just likes how certain characters play off of each other.

yes. it wasn’t a bad thing lmao i love the parallels i just noted that like. it happens !! (i meant ‘for some reason’ in like a character, emotional-tie sense not a meta-writer sense. logistically alan would ‘team’ with kyle (which he does, occasionally. but the more standout parallels are with clark), clark would team with karen, i’d still team bruce w michael tbh but if not michael then ted, then court with zatanna or even kyle, and diana with kendra. like i was saying the parallels made weren’t clear cut or “meant to be”; there are other paths that could work.)

but like there’s also kindt and lemire like,, it’s not just johns who does it because they are GOOD parallels to make also like as i said i LIKE THE PARALLELS !!! i think they’d be stronger if we saw more interactions between them but my yearning heart is laid asunder again i suppose

actually i’m gonna spin this ask into a positive (bc i am so filled with love and i do not have time for negative vibes here) and talk about other justice league interactions with court that i adore

courtney and clark have a GOOD few interactions that make my heart SOAR. court really, really idolizes clark and he’s one of the few older superheroes that never discredits her for her age or lack of experience, and is literally ALWAYS thankful for her help. they’re not super close, but their interactions always mean the WORLD to me because he literally respects court so much

the best thing to come out of new-52 was the court and j’onn relationship, god i was FED. j’onn acknowledging courtney was going to be the one to save the justice league, the mind meld, the implication that courtney still had j’onn’s powers even after the split, COURTNEY BEING ABLE TO MIND LINK TO FIRESTORM ON HER OWN, j’onn about to wreck everyone’s shit because he was worried about courtney, COURTNEY GOING AFTER J’ONN EVEN IF IT WAS DANGEROUS, sorry but they make me go FERAL they parallel SO WELL and it’s so good and wholesome 

court & diana are often a trio with karen and i love all three of them SO MUCH. they balance against each other SO WELL with diana and karen sticking around court like two moms who care for their impulsive star powered daughter. i think there’s a lot to be said about how their morals align but their levels of recklessness and playfulness vs order and organization contrast with each other but still manage to work REALLY well!! also like their conversation’s range from “thanksgiving is bad and here is why” to “u read rolling stone?? :o” and i just. i love them so much i do
