i have to confession to make that when i was kinda sorta into miraculous ladybug (like season 1 way back) i was a gabriel agreste apologist because i thought it wouldve been more interesting if he wasn't hawkmoth and just an emotionally stunted asshole who can redeem himself somehow but then i lost all interest in the show after he was hawkmoth and he just became boringly worse and worse

#talkin #i also was curious on how they would redeem chloe even though i didn't like her but they really fucked it up on her 'redemption' episode #than made it more frustrating in the zombie episode and then i heard they just decided this girl was irredeemable #which is such a strange take cuz THEY WROTE HER and stubbornly kept her worse because she had so much potential and was clearly redeemable #even back in the early seasons but they didn't even try for some reason which is really sad for fans who wanted her redemption #anyway when they decided to make gabriel just a boring emotionally abusive dad he just got boring so he can choke lol
