yep ur right sorry if it came off like im comparing the two what i just meant was the new showrunner for flash didnt rly changed anything in terms of quality it kinda stayed the same they just added new characters that the fans didnt rly liked that much (hartley played one of those new characters just happened to be exposed as a rly shit person)but tbf the flash's all over quality as a tv show isnt as bad. i just feel like w sg if they bring in new ppl they wouldnt know the characters as well

Don’t worry I totally got your intentions. And again I don’t watch the flash so I can’t really speak on it but I do think that it’s in a much better position than SG, like you said. It’s the top rated show on the CW so they’re very clearly at least doing something right, whereas SG has lost half its ratings (for myriad reasons) and has pretty much striked out with its core fanbase.

Like at this point I just think they’ve truly hit rock bottom and wouldn’t lose anything by changing showrunners. I get the argument that new showrunners wouldn’t know the characters as well as the old ones and I fully respect it. But given that these EPs who’ve been around for years now and should understand the characters better, managed to produce a season that gave kara no real growth or development (even with CRISIS!!!!!!), completely assassinated lenas characters (after building her up for 3 years) and sidelined almost every other female character on the show (especially nia and kelly), I just don’t see how a change in leadership would make the show any worse than it already is lmao
