Been watching the Rookie, partly with my flatmates and partly in my own time. The first time I watched it I jumped in part way through season one, and they ran through the cast to give me context.

They pointed to Tim Bradford and introduced him as "Lucy's T.O. He's really hard on her and has high standards and is kinda mean." Immedately I was like Oh he's going to be my favourite. That dynamic is going to be my favourite.

Ladies and gentlemen guess who my favourite is.

#wren rambles #the rookie #look okay. the Closed off and Gruff superior office and Less Jaded and younger office he has a soft spot for despite himself #is one of the reasons i love cop shows i Wont Lie #anyway Tim being terrified of the virus at the end of season 1 #and then doubling down and being EXTRA hard on Lucy because he didnt like how vulnerable he was??#INCREDIBLE 10/10 #i do believe in more recent seasons Lucy and Tim are heading towards romantic #which i dont HATE #AFTER Lucy graduated and he is no longer her TO and they are in more equal footing in that regard #right now i am GREATLY enjoying their TO-Boot dynamic #anyway runner up shout out to wesley #who because of the weird order im watching in #my intro to him was a) proposing to Lopez after shed been STRESSIN all day on a super sweet way #and b) JUMPING out of bed no questions asked and pulling his pants on to represent Nolan in the middle of the night #what a legend
