not sure if it says more about me or my life or the world at large that i have now had two separate instances of being horrendously hungover in a generally unfamiliar place, brain functioning on 30%, only to squint at the orangey light coming down and immediately go ".... this is wildfire lighting. wtf is happening nearby". and be right both times.

#for clarity im not even getting hungover that often!!! only three or four times in recent memory. and TWO of them have coincided with #bad wildfires in places i Do Not Live In #anyway now that ive had a day to recuperate from said hangover and also admire the Extremely Orange Sky im finding this kind of hilarious #That Wildfire Summer really taught me some very specific skills that i do not need or want #my brain: you're going to be 60% finctional in convos with coworkers today.#but you wanna recognize a wildfire nearby based on the shade of orange coming down? we can do that.#told a friend about this and we came to the conclusion: When I Get Too Drunk.
