i've been talking about this for two months now, but we're past onyx storm and i'm finally far enough into this fic that i'm almost ready to start posting, which means. . .

dead on arrival chapter 1 will be coming your way on feb 3rd!

this is a bones-inspired modern au, and i'm in love with every moment of it so far. i can't wait to start sharing it with you, but in the meantime, here's the summary - and below the cut, a longer look into the first bit of chapter 1

Violet Sorrengail is a forensic anthropologist good with only one thing: dead people. Their bones speak a language only she can hear, but the living aren't quite so easy to understand - particularly one FBI Agent Xaden Riorson, who does everything possible to get under her skin. When an unexpected murder victim washes up in DC, the ensuing investigation brings them closer together despite her every effort to stay away, and she's forced to decide if the careful distance she keeps around her heart is really worth it.

There was a dead body.

That was what the text message said anyway, the one that interrupted Violet Sorrengail’s music with a cheerful little ding and made her flinch. It popped up on the screen of her car—from FBI Agent Xaden Riorson.

7:03 am There’s a dead body. I’ll pick you up in 10. 

When she read it, she rolled her eyes. Of course there was a fucking dead body. That was the only reason he ever texted, called, emailed, or otherwise contacted her. There was a steady stream of texts from him dating back six months, from their first case together, all variations of: Got a body. On my way to pick you up. Any updates on the case? Why aren’t you in the lab? I have new evidence for you. Never so much as a hello or a how are you. If his neck was more easily reachable, she would have strangled him by now, but as it was, he stood about fifteen inches taller than her, and Violet hated both high heels and step stools, so he got to keep breathing. For now. 

A bark came from the passenger seat. She spared a glance at Tairn and found the dog was already glaring at the car screen, as if he knew exactly who had texted. He held a special sort of contempt for Xaden Riorson that Violet didn't think he'd ever shown anyone she knew, and he'd been her service dog for almost three years.

She was stuck at a red light, so she took a fortifying drink of her coffee and then plucked her cell phone out of the second empty cup holder to respond. 

7:04 am  it’s 7 in the morning on a monday y tf do u think i’m in the lab already. i’m 20 min away 

Riorson hated shorthand text. Violet normally didn’t do it, but once, in a hurry, she’d typed bc instead of because, and it was the first thing he’d commented on the next time he saw her. She’d made it a point ever since to shorten as many words as possible. 

7:04 am  Then I’ll pick you up in 20. Washed up from the Potomac at a park in Alexandria a couple hours ago.

Sounded lovely—and unstable for her, given it had rained the entire weekend before and she could break or dislocate just about anything with a single wrong look.

It took her twenty-two minutes instead of the promised twenty to get to the lab, and she felt confident Riorson was losing his mind. He had a thing for punctuality that bordered on compulsive. Sure enough, he was already there, his government-issued SUV parked next to her usual spot. He stood outside it, leaning against the closed driver’s door, wearing a sleek black suit and aviators, not a strand of dark hair out of place. He looked the perfect picture of professionalism, were it not for the tattoo on his left arm that wound from wrist to jawline. The early morning sun gilded his brown skin, and he looked almost ethereal. It was both infuriating and unfair how beautiful he was, but he made up for it by being a complete and utter dick most of the time. 

Riorson was too composed to show any outward signs of impatience, but Violet was sure he was counting the seconds it took her to gather her coffee, her phone, and her bag and climb out of her own car to join him. Instead of waiting for her to round the car and open the passenger door, Tairn followed her out of the driver's side, his leash trailing. She didn't bother to pick it up; he stuck close to her side regardless, his nose nearly against her thigh.

“I need to go inside and get waders,” she informed Riorson instead of offering any polite greeting. She knew he certainly wasn’t going to offer her one. She skirted around the back of his car to the passenger side. She was wearing jeans and a white sweater and sneakers—not exactly appropriate attire for investigating a dead body on a riverbank. “I’ll be right back.” 

“Your waders and boots are in the trunk, and Sloane has the rest of all your fancy tools and equipment. She rode ahead to the scene with Rhiannon.” 

Well, that at least answered the question of which intern was on the schedule today. And hopefully Rhiannon was far enough ahead of them that she’d be done with her preliminary analysis by the time Violet got there. If this was the FBI’s problem, and Riorson wanted Violet there, then the remains were presumably in bad shape. 

Violet opened the back door for Tairn and stood back as he jumped inside, settling on the nice leather seats without a care for his claws. There were scratches in the material already, but Violet was sure most of them came from Xaden's own dog, Sgaeyl. She wasn't a service dog like Tairn, but Riorson had brought her around a few times, usually when a case called them in on a weekend or late at night. Tairn used his teeth to tug his leash closer when it dangled, and then sat back on his haunches, looking at her expectantly. She shut the door.

Violet climbed into the passenger seat, dropping her bag at her feet and her coffee in one of the cup holders, then buckling her seat belt as Riorson climbed in next to her, starting the car without a word. 

He was seemingly allergic to music, so they almost always rode in silence. Violet was never quite sure why he felt the need to drive her to crime scenes. She could just as easily get herself there, or hitch a ride in the forensics van with Rhiannon or Ridoc. But since the very first case, he’d insisted, and he was about as much fun to argue with as a brick wall, and some things simply weren’t worth the energy to complain about. 

Every so often, Tairn would make a little chuffing noise in the back seat, but he didn't actually lean forward and alert, so she ignored him. He was always restless and grumbling around Xaden. Despite his relative youth, he acted remarkably like an old man.

"So why are we going to Alexandria?" Violet asked skeptically as Riorson weaved expertly through the early morning DC traffic, heading the opposite way Violet had just come from. She had a charming, spacious house in Georgetown she'd received as a gift from her father, with a secluded backyard and even a small heated pool. As one of the most renowned forensic anthropologists in the world, she made good money, enough to cover the utilities and the property taxes and insurance with ease, but it was still far too rich of a neighborhood for her; she never could've afforded it outright. There had been questions for a while about where the money came from for her father to afford to buy her such a place, if it had been earned through legal means, but after six months of investigating when she first got the deed, everyone had stopped looking into it, and she'd been able to finally move in with no problems.

She'd been there for three years now with no additional issues. She suspected that was her mother's doing, but Lilith Sorrengail had never admitted it outright.

"Because that's where the dead body is?" Riorson offered dryly without taking his eyes from the road.

Violet huffed, and Tairn echoed the noise behind her. "It's in Virginia," she said, like it should've been obvious, because it should have. "What makes this the FBI's problem? Shouldn't local police get first dibs?"

"They don't want it," he answered. "The remains are in bad enough shape that we need you, Sorrengail. Do you really think Alexandria PD has the resources to investigate this?"

"Do you really think I know anything about the resources Alexandria PD has?" she countered. She didn't, and she didn't want to. That fell into the pile of things that were very firmly not her problem. Her brain had a lot of room, but local police jurisdiction wasn't really something she bothered to make space for. Riorson gave her bodies, and she told him how they died. That was her job.

He did look at her then, a brief, cutting glance from the corner of his eye. "I thought you knew everything."

She rolled her eyes. "Obviously not, Riorson."

A little smirk curled up one corner of his mouth, but he didn't say anything else.

Violet spent the rest of the car ride braiding her hair. She kept it long, and she liked to wear it loose, but her work didn't often lend to it. When she was younger, her older sister, Mira, had braided it into a crown for her when she'd gone through a phase of reading only princess books, and had taught her to do it herself as a teenager. It had quickly become her signature style in college and while she completed her PhD; it was the easiest way to ensure it was all out of the way while she was in the lab or on the university's body farm, studying decomposing remains. Beyond its practicality, she just thought it was pretty, especially because the ends of her hair were leached of all pigment, so the silver strands looked interesting all weaved together.

It was a challenge in the car—she had to lean forward to flip her hair over and start the plait at the back of her head, which didn't do great things for her heart rate—but it wasn't the first time she'd done this and it wouldn't be the last. She had hair ties and pins in her bag that she held between her teeth until she needed them.

By the time she was done, they'd reached the crime scene. The park was right on the Potomac River, and already blocked off with yellow tape. Riorson eased the SUV around a group of civilians standing and tittering as they watched the FBI forensics team as they gathered evidence. Violet couldn't find her own people among the sea of navy jackets, so they must have been closer to the river.

She hopped out and paused when her head spun, bracing a hand on the open door. Tairn barked, scratching at the door she hadn't yet opened for him.

"You good, Violence?" Riorson paused, leaning back down to look at her through his own open door. His sunglasses slid down his nose, revealing dark eyes and long, thick lashes.

She lifted her head enough to glare at him. "Don't call me Violence."

Okay let me start this by saying I was a big bobby is alive truther since 8x15 ended

Though I went into 8x16 believing he'd be dead because that's what I had to do. Was I happy with believing that no. There was a big part of me still hoping that he'd turn up alive.

Anyways this episode was just so so bad like worst episode of TV I've ever seen. (And I've seen bad TV)

I honestly don't even know where to start with this.

He was on the show for 8 years. 8 whole years and this is how you say goodbye to your main character and to Peter Krause.

The disrespect I've seen towards both bobby and Peter has been diabolical.

We got a 2 week time jump for what. Oh so you could skip over the shock everyone felt and skip over their feelings.

You scream realism but yet somehow 2 weeks after the person that meant the most to each one of those characters dies their somehow just okay with it.

This subplot of the mother thinking her son was kidnapped was cruel to do to the fans.

You took a story and had it metaphorically represent the fans the mother was the fans believing the child/bobby was alive.

Everything to do with that mothers storyline represented what the fans had been saying since the funeral bts leaked. The writers literally wrote the episode to laugh in our faces and be like fuck you.

Tim Minear said he stuck in the hotshots bit earlier on in the season (comfort captain scene I'm talking about) to foreshadow bobby dying (which I don't understand because Brad ended up making captain banner survive) but say this foreshadowed Bobby's death is another fuck you to the fans. He's like I see you guys find comfort in bobby as much as the characters of the show so guess what I'm gonna kill him.

I also agree that I think a lot of the characters were acting so weird in the episode.

●Chimney's survivors guilt was so choppy I couldn't follow it.

●Buck who literally said bobby was the father he never had barely showed any emotion (yes I watched the 8x15 I know bobby told him they were going to need him so people will argue that buck was suppressing his feelings) but like literally we barely got a tear at the funeral. THE FUNERAL OF THE MAN WHO CHANGED HIS LIFE FOR THE BETTER.

● Eddie only coming back the morning of the funeral like WHAT THE HELL this would not of happened eddie would of been on the first flight back to la once he heard the news. You know why because BOBBY CHANGED HIS LIFE TOO.

●Hen also barely showed any emotion like considering bobby was the first person to really accept her and chimney as part of the 118 and we barely got anything from her it was like she just accepted it.

● Ravi well cmon you spent half of 8x14 showing ravi contemplate his place at the 118 because he nearly got bobby killed to him telling bobby he would get the antiviral and that he was no longer going to quit and it basically looked like he accepted Bobby's death too.

●Before anyone says we have two more episodes to explore their grief yeh we do but cmon in an episode about their captain they could've showed more emotion. BOBBY CHANGED EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEIR LIVES FOR THE BETTER THEY WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN OVER HIS DEATH AND ACTED THE WAY THEY DID AFTER 2 WEEKS.

Gerrard showed more goddam emotion than some of them and he barely knew them.

If you really wanted athena to work a case that was one bobby had been called to years ago you could have done it without taking up the whole episode. Not to mention like it's supposed to be some story to help Athena to get out of the denial stage yet she was never in it. She was looking at places in the mosoleum she couldn't do much else seeing as the military still wouldn't release his body.

Like I saw the post episode stills and we missed out on scenes from athena's parents and bobbys mom and brother. Like I would have preferred to see them than some case you used to laugh at fans with. In the end all we saw was the side of Charlie's head.

The funeral itself got the last 5 mins dedicated to it. How is that an episode about remembering bobby only got 5 minutes to remember him. I would have preferred to have seen his full funeral and then them all together remembering Bobby. This would of also been a good way to use flashbacks and in whole made the episode better. Like the 118 sharing their memories of him.

In whole the episode was not a good send off for a beloved captain.

Peter krause also has been so disrespected in this whole process. Like firstly with both 8x14 and 8x15 a character who peter loved playing in overall got an average of maybe 15 minutes at most for his death and funeral. ONLY 15 MINUTES. Not to mention he didn't want to leave and this has been confirmed by Tim Minear himself that it wasn't Peters idea it was Tim's. How do you turn around to your lead actor and executive producer and tell him oh I'm killing your character off and all he's going to get is at most a 5 min (I think it was less) for his death scene and then his funeral and remembrance episode in totals if we include the times peter himself appeared in the episode maybe like what 7 minutes. 7 minutes to say goodbye I really don't understand it. (Also I know that doesn't add up to 15 mins but I'm giving and average incase I missed something)

The 9-1-1 page itself never even acknowledged Peter. Let me spell this out for you WITHOUT PETER THEIR WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN BOBBY NASH. He doesn't even get a sentence thanking him for his commitment to the role.

Peter said last year he could do a 100 more episodes of 9-1-1 its like Tim Minear heard that and was like I'm gonna make sure that doesn't happen. Why? Idk

In regards to the rest of the cast I'm just so puzzled by all of them.

Angela has two different stories on how she found out one was by phone call and one was by reading the script.

Kenny has been the only consistent person making it know that he was against this decision.

Aisha and her multiple changing captions was just way to confusing.

Ryan has basically just taken the piss out of it again no real appreciation towards peter.

Oliver has quiet frankly pissed me off in the last couple of days. Firstly his goodbye post gets archived exactly three days before the episode. After talking so much in the past about his relationship with Peter it seems so odd to archive it, but also no one will convince me he didn't know what he was doing or that he was archiving it because it didn't match his aesthetic. BECAUSE THATS NOT WHY HE ARCHIVED IT. He knew he would set the fans crazy it would make them think oh he's not dead. And I think firstly it's horrible to do the fans (he knows what these characters mean to them) but also in ways it's disrespectful to Peter because he didn't even keep it up for a whole FREAKIN MONTH.

The script leaks by both oliver and Jennifer is also horrible towards the fans because firstly who has time to create a fake script but also how were they convinced to leak it. Like what do you mean you leaked a script about bobby being alive when you know he's dead. How do you do that to the fans. Why? It's horrible.

The funeral leaks themselves and Tim minear saying he didn't think that would happen what's he going on about he filmed it downtown on a busy street in front of the public like what??? 911 isn't a show no one knows about like. It was going to get leaked for God sake. The funeral should've been kept a secret.

This is long and messy af so sorry but my thoughts are messy I haven't processed anything I know for sure that killing bobby off will ruin the show. People don't watch for realism we watch for the found family and the escape from reality it provides.

This has taken me days to compile all together I've still been reading a lot on here so my minds still going back and forth between if he is or if he's not. But I'm just trying not to hold out all my hope on it because I have a feeling ill be so devastated if he's still dead by the end of the season. Though I'll probably always hold out hope that they'll fix their mistake and make him be alive.

I will say though and it kills me to say it (because up until this storyline I have loved this show with all my heart) if Bobby is truly dead come the end of season 8 I won't be tuning in for season 9. I honestly can not see a way this show can work without him.

Also I just saw the 8x17 still why do they all look like literally no one is dead and this whole team + Athena have just moved on.

Anyways I'm not sure how much more I'll post on hear I might just stick to reading but yeh...

Myself and a few others added onto it, but that's all. It's new year's eve! Traditionally, this means ginger snaps. (it's not really a tradition, it's just the thing I do when we have people over and it's closing in on 1am and I want them out of my house. surprise! I wandered out of the living room to make cookies, stuff that in your face and gtfo. but slightly nicer than that.)

Since we're not hosting anything or going anywhere this year, and since December has been such an epic shitshow, I'm skipping the cookies and making Nigella Lawson's Chocolate Gingerbread Cake.

...you know, I kind of understand the recipe-blog urge to pontificate before the recipe. maybe I just like to hear myself talk. Anyway, this is a slightly modified version of Nigella's recipe. It's a gooey, spicy, chocolatey, decadent thing, and it's possibly my favorite cake recipe, ever.

1 1/2 sticks (12 tbs) butter

1 c. + 2 T dark brown sugar

2 T granulated sugar

3/4 c. golden syrup (sub half corn syrup and half honey- or all honey- if you don't have a tin of golden syrup lying around, dont sweat it)

3/4 c. molasses

1/4 tsp ground cloves (I'm still using allspice, fuck cloves, all my homies hate cloves, unless they're being poked into oranges)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tsp ground ginger

1 1/4 tsp baking soda

2 T warm water

2 eggs

1 c. milk

2 c. flour

1/3 c. cocoa

1/4 tsp salt (omit if using salted butter)

1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325. Line a glass 10x13 pan with parchment paper. (You want glass because of the honey; if using golden syrup, use whatever pan your heart desires.)

In a large saucepan, melt the butter with the sugars, syrup, molasses, cloves, cinnamon and ginger. make your life easier by using a lightly oiled liquid measuring cup for the molasses and other syrups. or don't! enjoy being sticky.

Dissolve baking soda in water.

Take saucepan off heat, and whisk in eggs, milk and soda/water

Reserve ~1 tbs flour.

Sift remaining flour, cocoa, and salt into wet mixture and stir to combine

Toss the chocolate chips in the reserved flour, then fold in chocolate chips.

Bake about 45 min until risen and firm. The middle should still be a little damp under the set top, and will sink a little. . (I went an extra 10 minutes because I used a 9x13 pan, it went until the middle was set but not risen.) Cool in the pan.

Make glaze or frosting, if you want. Nigella has a ginger beer and chocolate glaze; I've also made this with a cardamom cream cheese icing, which is faaaabulous. (take a standard cream cheese icing- block of cream cheese, few tbs butter, powdered sugar until you like the consistency- and add 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2-1tsp ground cardamom.)

I like the way Nigella describes this- makes 12 fat slabs. This is technically a 1 bowl recipe, even if I magically always manage to dirty every bowl and utensil in the house; the flour sifting is entirely optional, but it will help reduce lumps in the batter.

The first time I made this was in 2010, when I ran out of molasses, had no corn syrup, and had to scrounge for as much honey as I could find in the cupboards. My early #disaster-kitchen days were full of me starting recipes without checking to see if I had all the ingredients. (There are several funny stories about that, actually, one of which led to me getting married. Remind me to make that honey cake recipe again.)

But, more importantly, the last time I made this was some time in 2011 or 2012, so I had no idea what recipe I'd used for it. But I did post about it on livejournal when I made it. Buuuut my LJ is friends locked, so I had to log back in. Which, of course, meant I had to reset my password. And that was one of the last posts I'd made! But the recipe I linked to went to a dead site. But! The Wayback Machine saved me! So here we are.

It smells so fucking good, you guys. The molasses, the spices, the chocolate- so. fucking. good.

(Sorry mainline, Another duology and Heartless Deceit, it's been a while since I've thought about those :() This will include both wholesomeness and sadness as appropriate, so get ready for anything!

Minor spoilers for all the fangans mentioned in their respective sections.

By the way, I apologize in advance if a lot of them are just "spends it with family/friends", sometimes I can't think of anything actually interesting to say :v

Danganronpa: Despair Time

Ace: Spends the day with his family, and pretends not to be as scared of firework noises as he is.

Arei: Spends the entire day with her friends (or "friends" while she was in high school, depending on who you ask).

Arturo: Doesn't celebrate, but does keep track of what various celebrities do for the holiday.

Charles: Just a get-together with family. He goes to bed as soon after 12:00 AM as possible.

David: Posts something motivational on social media, sometimes does a themed TEDTalk. Then proceeds to spend the entire rest of his day in bed.

Eden: Celebrates her birthday (31st December!) late into the day with all her friends and family, only to switch to celebrating New Year's the moment 12:00 AM arrives. Basically one long birthday party :D

Hu: Depends on the year. Sometimes she enjoys just chilling with her family, sometimes she accompanies her friends to parties to make sure no one gets hurt. Designated driver when said friends drink alcohol, as she likes to feel reliable.

J: Celebrates with Ryan... mostly the fact that Mariabella is Somewhere Else for the day. Also goes out with friends sometimes.

Levi: Doesn't celebrate, and usually doesn't even notice the new year's coming up until he's woken up by fireworks the day of.

Min: She treats it like any other day, though maybe with an extra family visit. Every year, it takes convincing to get her to stay awake until 12:00.

Nico: Spends it at animal shelters, helping any animals who might get scared of fireworks.

Rose: Spends it with her family, and sleeps through most of it. Takes a lot effort from her siblings for her to stay awake at 12:00 AM to see the change in year.

Teruko: Used to celebrate with her brother, but doesn't bother to celebrate at all too much anymore. She mainly just spends the day trying to get as far away from any fireworks as possible (far too dangerous for her luck).

Veronika: Christmas and new year's themed horror marathon! She occasionally manages to drag someone into it with her, but it's not necessary for her.

Xander: Volunteer work with friends during the 31st, and a visit to his family's graves at some point during the 1st.

Whit: Spends the day with friends, but always cooks dinner at home, usually eating alone since his father's usually overseas. He always makes sure to save some food for his mom, though :)

MonoTV: Treats itself to some of its favorite movies of the year. By which I mean it eats the CDs of said movies.

Cassidy: New Year's charity stream marathon that always starts a few days before and lasts for a few days after the turn of the year. She streams even through the clock hitting 12:00 in her timezone.

Damon: He prefers to ignore the holiday, but his family gets together so he can't exactly manage it. Still studies for a large part of the day though.

Desmond: Takes it a bit easier on the training for the day, but otherwise doesn't alter his routine too much.

Diana: Hangs out with her friends for a good chunk of the day, and particularly enjoys doing their makeup for any party later in the night.

Eloise: Spends the day with her sisters and mother.

Eva: Doesn't celebrate, and probably spends it studying one subject or another.

Grace: Doesn't celebrate, but enjoys watching the fireworks.

Ingrid: Spends the day with her family.

Jean: Usually out at sea, so he celebrates with his crew, drinking and playing around all night.

Jett: Parties hard with his friends all through the night.

Kai: Other than posting a bunch on social media, he doesn't really go out much, and prefers to spend the day with family.

Wenona: Only celebrates in whatever way benefits her business, as long as it doesn't involve making a public appearance. This usually means she doesn't do jack shit.

Wolfgang: Doesn't celebrate, but he's willing to be designated driver if some of his friends want to party.

Tozu: Practices his evil laugh for hours.

Mara: Puts up with Tozu practicing his evil laugh for hours.

Cara: Uh... she's dead chat I don't think she can celebrate.

Hi Gina!! First of all, I wanted to thank you and Daisie and everyone else here for the amazing Larry masterlist. I'm a new larrie myself, though I've been around the fandom since 2011 (tho not super closely) when WMYB MV was released. I was deep diving on receipts, and as per usual, I took it all in with a grain of salt and kept all my conclusions rational and unbiased. I just wanna add something you might consider a receipt, connecting to one of the tour receipts ones I’ve read on Daisie’s tags (I dove into both yours and Daisie’s tags lol). This isn't so big and new at all but I thought I'd add. Sorry in advance if I am too vague with this lol

A quick context: I had worked with small event productions here in my country, and had become pretty close with suppliers (tech, security, venue, etc). I got curious about an entry I read from your receipts tag which happened in an international tour here. Anyway, I am pretty close with our security supplier, and I thought I'd check if there were traces of them working with the boys. After a few google search, I saw them with Louis on a video during his tour here - confirming that at least for that show, they did work with Louis. He has been very open to me ever since we met, so when I DMed him about being involved in the show, he enthusiastically answered that they did all 1D-related ones in the country.

Anyway, bottomline, I tried to ask if it's true that Louis was here during Harry's concert because I've kind of heard it somewhere (being the receipt I read from Daisies' account). That’s when he got weirdly super silentl and left me on ‘seen’/‘read’ (which had never happened EVER before). I waited with the chat box open; he se seemed type after a few mins - and then stopped completely. When I realized he (c)wouldn't reply, I didn't push it and said he doesn't have to respond and that I respect if he’s bound by certain contracts. After that, he immediately replied, basically just saying "Thank you" (for understanding, essentially). We just chatted a bit more before ending the convo.

So I guess I'd say it somewhat solidifies that theory in my head because I personally know them, and if there's really something super big they cannot share at all, they WONT. I knew there was something because it was almost comical for me how he suddenly left me on ‘read’. So if it's not a big deal at all he would've shared because we've talked about other works they've done in the past (he was so enthusiastic and shared all the names of the shows they've done with 1D a few mins prior lol) - but when I specifically asked if Louis was with Harry here for his tour, he immediately closed off and stopped replying - and THEN thanked me when I said he didn’t have to reply lol (I didn’t ask anything else, just that exact wording, straightforwardly asking if L was there during H's show, and I didn’t phrase it in a playful or teasing way like I am implying there’s smth gossip-worthy between them I'm fishing out of him)

ANYWAY, I’m not even sure if this is worth posting but I needed someone to share it with and I thought it could be like a backup info for the future hahahaha I am trying to be vague because I do want to protect myself and my (in a way) source (?). Ofc, a part of me wish I could've gotten something, but I also respect them for staying quiet. And even if they did share something big, I might've had second thoughts on sharing bcs I was mainly asking it for my own sanity tbh, knowing that I knew who the security team was lol So I guess my point of sharing this with you is to basically share that the usual NDA thing with H&L, whether as a whole 1D unit before or as solos, is definitely enforced here. New dream kids:

Gwen is the "oldest" twin (by like 3 min) and you bet they use this as much as possible to get away W things. Gwen is a very chaotic person. Often blowing things up and creating chaos. It usually takes them a while to get close to anyone (for.. many reasons) but when they do they clings onto them like a lifeline (Flynn). Gwen is one of my fav new dream kids but I haven't rlly thought of much character for them besides chaotic and funny situations W the other characters 😔.

Ari is the oldest (named after Arianna OFC). She doesn't rlly care abt anything and is very closed off but when she explodes it is very loud and scary (family game nights are just GREAT). She loves jewellery and anything shiny. She's always been jealous of her younger siblings since they don't have to worry abt being queen and ruling a kingdom they just get to enjoy being rich. (I also find it funny that she's just kinda had this one sided rivalry W them since they were born. Flynn specifically.) She's also prob my fav new dream kid (TOTALLY NOT AT ALL GONNA PROJECT ANYTHING ON HER 😁

Flynn is the "youngest" but is always having to be responsible (well that's what he thinks). (Named after Flynn rider OFC). He used to love his sister but now despises her bcuz she can't be responsible W ppl she doesn't know them like he does and instead of trying she locks herself in her room. Out of all the siblings Flynn is the most beloved by the public. He's pretty much the "perfect" child. He's very neat. Him and Gwen's relationship is very close unlike W Ari (AUUUGH I could talk abt Flynn and Ari's relationship for DAYS) even tho Flynn usually spends most of his time chasing after his twin and apologising to the public. Honestly the only reason Flynn isn't my fav is BC of how "perfect" he is. He takes alot after his mother. He's compassionate but can be kinda out of touch sometimes. (Also one of my family friends is named Flynn and it doesn't help that he looks like a male Rapunzel 😭)

I really wanted new dream to adopt a kid but I also wanted the dynamic that I've got W the twins and a cold royal as the oldest and I felt like more than 3 kids would be overcrowded.

Evelyn is varigos only child. I like to think she's a little bit younger than the new dream twins but more mature. I don't rlly know how to explain Evelyn. She's very smart but like her parents can over estimate how smart and be a show off. Like her father she gets angry very easily but luckily it's also very easy to distract her. She is the royal herbologist and spends most of her time in the forest. I've made maybe two posts on this? But I like to imagine one day whilst in a forest she meets a little monkey and they become friends. (I do also wanna give the new dream kids pets but idk how well that'll go..). I had alot of fun designing her my fav part being her green and blue heterochromia 😋. Since both her and Ari have lots of piercings I like to imagine they pierce them together and have a little "girls night" (really they're just sitting there in silence doing whatever they want. But it's nice and they love it.) I think that Hugo did both of their first piercings as well.

Evelyn was the first fankids I made and I feel like I haven't rlly developed her much which is sad BC she's my baby and I love her.

I do wanna make more ocs just like their friends or random civilians W fun interactions. And one thing I really love abt tts is how all the bg characters have personality to them. I really admire that. well done designers and animators.

Hello anon! I apologize for the late reply to your ask, I've been writing up a lot of different posts + It was hard for me to come up with a theory for what you asked, cause this is a part of the trial I don't necessarily think about a lot. But I'll try my best for you! Before we get into it though, I guess I should start off by saying that like you alluded to in your ask, we don't even know if Ace is telling the truth or not. Both him telling the truth and not telling the truth have inconsistencies in their logic that we simply do not have enough information to confirm or deny. That being said, however: I personally do think that Ace is telling the truth about David and Arei's conversation. For one, from Ace's perspective, I don't necessarily see the logic in telling a lie. Ace isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he is very aware of how others feel about him.

(x) Ace: Ooohhh, I get it. Ace: You all think I'm damaged in the head. I got that. But more than that... Ace: Levi, Teruko, Nico, Veronika, and everyone else. You all think you can say whatever the fuck you want to my face, right? Ace: I'm stupid, irritating, a good-for-nothing, and a spineless coward. Ace: Is that what everyone really thinks about me? And it's fine that you drill it into my head over and over again, because you think that I'll forget about it in 5 minutes like you do?

Hell, him waiting until he's basically the main suspect to release his alibi most likely hints that he knew that the cast wasn't going to believe him (which he was right, most didn't), and if that really was his thought process, why would he lie when he knows the cast will most likely not believe him anyway? The second reason as for why I think Ace is telling the truth with his testimony is because of this

(x) David: My secret is that I have a family history of depression. Veronika: My, coming right out with it. Arei: ... David: The reason you're all fighting... It's because you're stressed from this killing game, right? More specifically, stressed over this motive.

I recommend watching the actual clip because it's hard to capture what I mean in just text, and I fear this might be a slight asspull, but at the same time I have learned that DT-Dev doesn't just include dialogue to fill space, everything a character says, even if it's just ellipsis, more than likely has a purpose behind it. So why is Arei shown to say nothing in response to David, instead of just cutting to David's next line after Veronika's? To me personally, I think it was to show Arei's understandable confusion at David saying a secret that wasn't the one she saw. So I do think that Ace was telling the truth with what he saw. That does open up a few question marks, like why Ace didn't hear anything after a certain point despite being literally right near the door, but I assume those will be filled in as time goes on if he really is telling the truth. With that cleared up, I think we should get to what you actually want to hear anon: What happened during the conversation itself. Something about David is that when he is interrogated, especially of something that goes against his image, he has one of two reactions: A) he'll shoo the person away, acting dismissive and blunt

(x) Teruko: Then which one is yours? Tell me, since you're all about sharing secrets-- David: Seriously, will you shut up already? David: ...Please?

or B) he'll completely double down

(x) David: I'm a lying, manipulative, scumbaggy piece of shit. Is that what you all wanted to hear?

(x) David: Tch. Listen to me. I'm not the killer-- David: ... David: [Sigh] David: I know when to give up. Like I said, I don't want to end up like Min. Futilely fighting a war that I can't win. David: Tch. Fine. David: Hahaha... David: Ahahahaha!! Oh, fucking fine. David: I... David: I killed Arei. David: Does hearing that make you happy?

(honestly the last 17 minutes of ch2-11 can be described as david doubling down, but these are the main two examples.)

Personally, I think David ended up doing both in the Arei conversation. At first he tried to dismiss her accusations, but since Arei is an incredibly stubborn person, he ended up doubling down on them, most likely acting very similarly to how he does in the latter half of CH2-11. This would most likely follow up with an argument between David's philosophy that no one will ever change and that people are born either good or bad people, and Arei's newfound desire to become a good person after bullying and manipulating others for so long, a hope that David gave her. Both of the people in this scenario are very much guided by their emotions, and said emotions are very high by the time Ace's flashback is cut off. I'd say it's an inevitability. As for what would happen after that, I'm not entirely sure. But those are the predictions that I'm sure about. If anyone has something to add, than please do so in the notes. DRDT ROLE SWAP: CHAPTER 1 SUMMARY - DAILY LIFE

Since me and the friend I've been watching DRDT with have finished Chapter 1 not too long ago, I've decided to think about the thoughts of that one DRDT AU I have (Not DRRT, but the Role Swap AU).

With that in mind, this obviously has spoilers for all of Chapter 1! If I get any of the events wrong, let me know!

Also... this is long :,) I've underlined & bolded the important parts.

After the killing game was announced, the students were left speechless. They eventually decide to investigate the facility in hopes of finding anything useful. Veronika, the ultimate horror fanatic, was used to this. She was content with being alone. However, Xander quickly perked up and offered to go with her. With other's encouragement, she decided to accept his offer.

The investigation was pretty standard... if not a wee bit swapped. Veronika was the one who made most of the informative comments, while Xander commented on other things. However, he was able to get a list of the other participants' weapons.

During their investigation, they ran into many of the others. This included J in the infirmary with Rose, patching up the latter's wounds (though J kept commenting on how she really was not fit for this, and Arturo should be the one to be doing this), as well as Ace and Min in the bathrooms - Ace seeming bored out of his mind as Min rambled about something that neither Veronika or Xander cared about.

Eventually, the investigation came to a close. Nobody was able to find an exit, unfortunately. That aside, everyone decided to split up and do their own thing. Before doing so, however, Levi had mentioned that the elevator was probably something to look at.

As such, Veronika chose to do just that. There, she met up with Arei and Rose. They get into a small scrabble about talents, with Veronika explaining that she has been destined to be, what she likes to call, a "typical horror movie final girl". Why else would she be so interested in horror? VERONIKA: "Ever since I can remember, I've been put through very interesting experiences. Many people who even dared to walk into my life are met with an unfortunate end. I just find it interesting to see people who are like me... you know?" Arei calls bullshit on that, but Veronika insists that it's true. Regardless, she talks about herself as well, claiming that she never really wanted to get into bowling. Well- she did, but she quickly lost interest after lots of "sleepless nights", though she does not elaborate. She comments about having to want to prove someone wrong, but once again, refuses to elaborate. Even though they were unable to open the elevator, at least they have something to bring to the rest of the class.

With that in mind, they do just that! And Ace has the perfect solution to see who's strongest; an arm wrestling competition. He was originally just gonna have a fist fight, but quickly realized he'd have to partake in that. And quickly changed his mind. The arm wrestling competition goes as the same in canon, with Xander winning it. Upon opening the elevator... the same thing happens. It's out of order.

Without much else to do, Veronika finds three people in the kitchen; Nico, Whit, and Levi. The three of them explain that they were planning to bake some stuff, which was admittedly Whit's idea. Veronika very excitedly joins in. While they bake the cake, Whit is quick to make a bunch of baking puns (I would specify, but staring at the 113 baking puns list is giving me a headache) while Nico and Veronika tend to the actual baking. Also ignore Levi, he's totally not just eating straight up sugar. That's not a thing he's doing. Totally. Anyway, after the baking is done, they decide to frost the cookies! They turn out... um... Nico's are certainly the best, being animals that they feel represent the others (Golden retriever - seeing as Whit is very... well... I don't think I have to explain, Siamese Cat - for their supposed chill nature, and Parrot - for their very talkative nature). Veronika's is of various horror characters. They're amazing works of art, but the cookies look inedible. Whit's are mainly just hearts. Nothing special, to be honest. And... Levi... Let's just say that it barely looks edible with the mass amount of sprinkles he put on it.

But, of course, the cake is ruined after they decorate it. It was certainly fun while it lasted. There's better things to worry about, anyway. The fact that Veronika seemed to sprain her knee! Due to that injury, Nico decides to take Veronika to the infirmary.

At the infirmary, they meet up with (or, rather, literally run into) Xander. He looks very out of it. However, before either of them could ask him what's going on, he stumbles away, leaning on the wall for support. Brushing off that strange interaction, they enter and see Charles in an almost similar stance. Upon closer inspection, Veronika realizes that he had removed his mask (In case I forgot to mention it, RoleSwap! Charles wears a mask to conceal his wound. It's like a mask that painters would use, but more... chemist...y. If that makes any sense.) The horror fanatic helps him calm down, and thanks to that, Charles orders Nico to leave. With them gone, the chemist shows Veronika his weapon: Some sort of chemical mixture. It's definitely not deadly, which he emphasizes greatly. VERONIKA: "Why are you showing this to me, Charles?" CHARLES: "..." VERONIKA: "Aww, do you trust me?" CHARLES: "...I'm not going to elaborate." VERONIKA: "You DO trust me~!" Alas, that couldn't be further from the truth.

Hearing some commotion in the dining hall, Veronika and Charles discover that Ace is causing a ruckus. He seems really petty about the whole baking situation. Like... really, REALLY damn petty. So petty that David has to shut him up. However, after a half-assed apology, MonoTV announces that a motive is to be held! And just before the class goes to sleep, Charles instructs Veronika to meet him in the computer lab. According to him, he found something on the computers that could be of use.

The next day is laundry day! Min and Xander are there! As the three of them discuss various things, Xander suddenly brings up parents. He mentions that his family was very nice- they're the reason why he's so motivated. Min is reluctant to engage, claiming that her family was... average. Veronika (I don't know anything about Canon! Veronika's family, so this is just an educated guess) explains how her family was... not exactly the healthiest. With all of the horrible incidents Veronika nearly caused by accident, her family is very weary of her. Xander promises Veronika that they'll try their best to make her comfortable and safe.

Surprisingly enough, Arturo had gotten Veronika to walk around with him. However, despite her excitement, Veronika quickly comes to realize that it's only so Arturo can complain about his special weapon. Levi hears the commotion and tags along, trying to see how a scalpel can be useful. However, Levi gets distracted, mentioning how they might be able to discern what kind of paint was used for the walls. He has slight knowledge about that kind of thing, as you have to take into account of the fabric dye when making a costume (ignore the fact I'm pulling this out of my ahh). However, without the right materials, it's close to impossible to figure it out.

Later, in the computer lab, Veronika runs into Teruko and J. They seem to be having a civil discussion... until Teruko starts talking about her misfortune again. After hearing so much about it, J gets fed up and leaves. And... That's all that happens there. Yup.

At lunch (dinner?), Charles and Veronika talk to Eden. It's a nice conversation, honestly. Even if nothing important happens, it's nice to hear about the hours of work Eden spends on clocks. However, they're interrupted by Arei, who mocks them. This causes Eden to quickly retreat, annoying Charles. However, nothing is really done about Arei. It's not like Charles or Veronika feel any extreme compulsion to confront the bowler.

They also talk to Hu! Now, I haven't mentioned it yet, but in this AU, Charles is actually very fond of the zither player. She's the person who he treats with the most respect. In fact, he's listened to her music whenever he needs a break, or is studying... or... well, he listens to her music a lot. So it's very nice to hear sweet nothings words of encouragement coming from his idol. In this AU, there's a good chance that Charles/Hu will be a ship. I love rarepairs. Feel free to put down ship names in the comments. Please.

Finally, they show the cookies! And... the cake... ...We don't talk about the cake.

BUT IT TASTES GOOD SO NO WORRIES.

After that mess, Veronika keeps her promise to Charles and meets him in the computer lab. He's acting horribly suspicious...

She suddenly felt a rush of pain in her stomach. As the blood dripped from her mouth, she could only stare up at Charles and watch his reaction. The way he stumbled back, almost drunkenly. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. It was as if something possessed him to stab her.

VERONIKA: “Why… did you…?”

But Charles didn’t respond. He only stared at the blood, his breathing increasing. He couldn’t bring himself to articulate any words for a long time. There was only silence filled with Veronika’s sharp breaths. Finally, he spoke.

CHARLES: “I… I was told to… V-Veroni—ka—“

Then, there was silence again. The chemist was surprised that she hadn’t fallen yet. Then, suddenly…

She began to laugh.

VERONIKA: “Kagh… hah… This… you failed.”

CHARLES: “…??”

VERONIKA: “Y… You can’t kill me. Over and over… I’ve gone through this same thing… horrible events that left my friends dead… left me… in pain… haha…”

She gave him a terrifying smile.

VERONIKA: “…you’re nothing more than another antagonist in my story…”

Charles shut his eyes. Those were the last things Veronika remembers before passing out. As the world grew dark, she could still hear her distant laughter.

hi girlies, long time no see. tbh I was just logged out of this account for so long I kinda forgot about it...I logged back in and saw I had a backlog of like, 4k posts....

just spent the past like 20 min deleting them all LOL. sad tumblr doesn't really have xkit or anything anymore to mass select posts, I had to manually select them all....ugh. I just hate having so much history on my accounts tho, I used to say so much embarrassing stuff so I usually try to purge every couple months.

it feels weird to scroll back on tumblr...well, I'm kind of lying. I DO have another tumblr I've been more active (?) on (kinda). I use it as an actual blog tho, to make long, properly written posts and well...blog to myself lol. not the freeform head empty run on posts I usually make here. I have a photoblog I occasionally use sometimes as well, but I'm thinking of just deleting that and having only the longform blog since I enjoy that more. we'll see.

I'm tempted to delete this blog just bc having 3 different tumblr logins is a lot...but like I said, if I delete the photoblog it'll go down to 2 which isn't terrible. idk!

this blog has been with me my whole life basically...well, at least the sandshrew url has. your girl is now 30 and I've had sandshrew since I first made tumblr at like 14/15. I'm very attached to it. Maybe I'll delete this account (that is a remade one anyways) and move the url to my main blog and use it for some kind of pokemon sideblog bc I feel bad having it go to waste...hmm

hey i'm really curious about what you mentioned about the episodes of spn u haven't seen before and the ghostfacers ep being one of them – why did you skip that one in particular before?? like why would u skip that one and not, like, bugs?

hi! So it didn't really have anything to do with the content of the ep. And I wouldn't skip a "bad ep" like Bugs either, because while Bugs absolutely has its issues it is, IMO, a pretty crucial ep for the brothers and their perceived family dynamics and Sam and John's relationship. Sam ends the ep wanting to find John not only for revenge-quest hunting reasons but so he can also apologize to John!

Anyways, tangent aside, why did I skip Ghostfacers? Well, it was late Dec. 2020. I'd started binge watching SPN just a few days after Christmas and was basically going through nearly a season a day (it was peak covid lockdown times, there was not much to do). And since Nov 5th I'd been not-so-slowly becoming so so invested in destiel via tumblr gifs and video edits and scene compilations and posts. So I was very eager to get to s4 and the destiel of it all. So as I neared the end of s3 and realized Ghostfacers was "just a filler ep" I was like okay I can skip this for now. I always intended to circle back to it, especially after I realized how beloved the ep is and the "gay love piercing through the veil of death" stuff and the Ghostfacers Effect. But, I have adhd brain, and that often means putting off things I want to do for sometimes years.

My original plan was to actually watch Ghostfacers LAST, as in after 15x20 on my original watch as like a meta commentary basically saying that ep is not the REAL SPN because Ghostfacers Effect (+ Chuck Won Theory). And to also just end on a better note. Buuuut then I never ended up watching 15x19 and 15x20 lol. I read the transcript for 15x19. And basically know the gist of 15x20 but 15x20 is like, my blurry wife. Everything I know abt it is pretty hazy. I've watched the Dean heaven scenes and that's about it. I probably will watch both eps on this rewatch for completions sake because I really do not like having unwatched eps of a thing, even if they're horrible. But we'll see. I might still not watch 15x20 because Dean's no good very bad death is painful for me.

And then the only other ep I haven't see is Bloodlines. When I got to it I already knew it was a "filler" and backdoor pilot for a spin-off and I got abt 5 mins in before being like yea I really really do not care abt Chicago monster families. But I'll watch it this time on the rewatch.

Ok I'll admit I worded the "no one's taught me anything about bills yet" part weirdly. I know what bills are, I've just never been taught how to pay the bills.

Also another thing is that after I made that edit where I wrote that I didn't know how much the water bill was in my family's apartment, I asked my mom how much it was (y'know, to see if my long showers were actually causing my parents to pay more bills) and she told me that we don't actually have a water bill since we rented our apartment. I was gonna add that extra context to the post but I didn't really think many people would notice it tbh.

If I ever implied at any point that the reason my mom and sister were complaining about my long showers was because of bill reasons then I'm sorry because that is definitely not what's going on. The reason they were complaining about my long showers is because our apartment only has one bathroom and they think I'm hogging it by showering for so long (which I'll admit is a valid reason to be mad at me but it's not related to the bills at all)

I'll start paying bills/rent when I get a job, but for now I don't have much money to offer to my parents.

Anyways, I think I'm gonna delete that poll (either now or sometime soon), since I feel like I've already gotten all the info I need.

I will try to start taking shorter showers, though. As of recently, they have been starting to only be about 30 minutes, so I think I'm making some progress.

A Story About Eating The Best Gyoza With Mana-chan 〜Lifetime Gyoza Fans〜

I decided to really laze around during the New Year's holidays, I didn't do any of the strength training or cooking that I usually do, I didn't sing at all, I basically just slept and slept some more without thinking about anything else. Then, I gradually started forgetting what my life was like before so I got scared and immediately went back to my usual routine 😂 It's scary because if you don't set boundaries for yourself you can easily let yourself go forever! ! 😭

Generally, I enjoy singing all-year-round but after focusing hard on a concert, I like to take a break from singing for a while🧚‍♀️ It depends on the situation and my mood but those breaks could be a few days or even a month. If I don't do that, I feel like my perspective on many things will become too narrow...🥺 Lately, I've once again realised that it's important to create a sense of contrast and variety so I don't get stuck on something (^^)✨

Now! I would like to finally talk about my Gyoza Eating Journey that was featured in my latest newsletter. In Vol.#5 of my journey, I visited two amazing gyoza restaurants together with Mana Ogawa-chan🥟🥟＼＼\\٩( 'ω' )و //／／ Mana-chan is active as a singer, she also does stage work and participates in a project called Benesse Kodomo Challenge ♪(*´ω｀*) I can't believe she was still in elementary school when we first met...😱(I was already an adult at that point)

Mana-chan also loves gyoza! ️ We live by the motto “NO GYOZA, NO LIFE”!! ️ (no, okay, this is really just me who is saying this). Anyway, I have been wanting to do some sort of gyoza activity together with her for the longest time😆♡ Finally, that dream-like project came true!! ️ Thank you Mana-chan😍

I asked Mana-chan to make a suggestion on where we should go first. She requested a Chinese restaurant called "Rengetsu" that was introduced in my gyoza guide book! Since I had read a lot about it in the book, I was of course very interested. Furthermore, there was another restaurant mentioned in the guide book which happened to be near Mana-chan's recommended place so I really wanted to check that out too, it's called "Min Min"🥟That's pretty much how we ended up going to two restaurants! (^-^)

First of all, let me introduce "Min Min" in Akasaka! The vending machine outside was only selling food that I love 😳✨ The inside of the store was much more lively than I had imagined from the outside, and the tatami room seats made it feel a bit like an izakaya😆 We had an appetizer but I was so focused on the gyoza that I don't remember anything about it😂. The highlight was definitely the fried gyoza! ️🥟 They are as big as a steamed bun! And so chewy! ! Akasaka's "Min Min" is a direct descendant of the currently closed Shibuya's "Min Min Yan Rou Kan" which is said to be the origin place of fried gyoza in Japan. Apparently they make around 1,000 pieces a day😳 We had our order together with their famous "vinegar and pepper" dipping sauce which actually originated at this restaurant♡ The gyoza filling had plenty of chives which Mana-chan was a big fan of! All in all, they were really delicious 😍 Next up we had boiled gyoza! The soup is so flavourful that you'll want to eat it with some noodles! Honestly, it was so delicious that you will be left wanting more 😳✨ Lastly, we had miso gyoza which was actually my first time😳 They were so rich in taste...!! ︎ The bean paste which looks reminded me of mapo tofu was so smooth and rich that I really wanted to eat it with rice! Look at the face I am making, pure happiness...😂 Akasaka's "Min Min" was truly the best~😭💕 There were many other menu items but we didn't pay attention to anything other than the gyoza😂We left the restaurant having thoroughly enjoyed a nice variety of gyoza: Fried, boiled and miso🥟

Next, we went to the restaurant Mana-chan wanted to visit, “Rengetsu” in Aoyama!🥟 The noren at the entrance was so cute ♡ The gyoza on the fabric looks like flowers 🥟The inside of the restaurant is very compact with only one table and a counter. My manager had made reservations for me a month in advance so we were able to get in but it was fully booked😳 (By the way, Akasaka's "Min Min" was also fully booked! Seems like both restaurants are really popular😍) As appetizers we had Szechuan pickles and a "green chili pepper, cucumber, and coriander salad"! Both were spicy and Mana-chan struggled a bit with those since she has a low tolerance for spicy food...! First, we wanted to try "Rengetsu's" signature meal, the boiled gyoza with minced lamb! ! Oh, oh, it was so delicious...! ! ! ! ! This was the best boiled gyoza I've ever had! ! ! 😭✨The sauce was also great! Apparently, the owner of "Rengetsu" won the Chinese Cuisine World Championship back in 2012😳 The taste was worthy of a world champion for sure! ! Of course we had another plate of boiled gyoza and then we moved on to the much anticipated fried gyoza 🥟 This one was also delicious! ! ! ! 😭😭✨ The sauces were different for boiled gyoza and fried gyoza, both delicious of course! ! (I actually switched between the sauces). We ordered another place of this too...😍It felt like a true indulgence and we were eating as much as we wanted😂

This was my 5th time eating gyoza for the fan club magazine and I had a special guest join me for the first time, it was really delicious and fun, I want to do this again and again! ! 😂Mana-chan and I got to talk a lot, not only about gyoza but also about work. Talk Garden Vol. 5！〜Part 2〜

It's part of my daily routine to keep an eye on the plants in my house, but when my heart gets distracted by other things, I end up not being able to keep an eye on all of my plant babies so they will often end up running out of water. The frequency of watering varies from one plant to another, so it is essential to watch each of them very closely for sign of dehydration. (Sometimes I'll just lift the pot to determine how much water is left in it. By now I have a pretty decent understanding of how much water my plants need based on their weight!) For my bigger plants, I am using a moisture meter (I became a big fan after receiving one at a plant shop I visited a while back), so when the meter turns white, it's a signal to water my plant. I also want to keep track of the times when I water my plants throughout the year so I always write it down on my calendar. It's been dry lately, even my giant plants like Schefflera and Everfresh have been having a hard time😳 When I'm home all day and can take a close look at the plants, I try to take them for a walk around the room. Basically, I just move them around, following the sunlight🚶♪ Recently, I have also tried having my children stay in another room with considerably more sunlight, I pretty much send them abroad to learn and grow. However, studying abroad is a bit of a gamble for both humans and plants, there's always a risk that you don't like the place you're going so instead of growing stronger, the experience will end up weakening you. Not every place is a perfect match for every individual, for some it works, for others it doesn't...😭

As usual, my Queen of the Night is holding a bud festival but she really does it at her own pace...😳 There are a lot of buds but they don't grow at all 😂 The thing is, she will suddenly start blooming out of nowhere so you really need to keep an eye on her!! Sometimes buds are blooming and I don't even notice🤣

The truth is, I have had so many people help me. Whats up im Vivian, or Vivi, or Viv, you can call me whatever. My pronouns are she/her and I am asexual. This is a SFW vore blog where I will only do oral, soft, and safe vore. Firstly I am really new to this, I've loved vore since birth but I've never interacted with the community like this. I've always been ashamed for liking, what's culturally a "weird" thing, this is my first time being open about it (this is an alt cuz aint nobody needa know about this.) Thanks for tagging me @colourme-feral, @wen-kexing-apologist and @thegalwhorants! I wrote this at night on Christmas Eve but then tumblr ate the post when I moved it from my drafts to my queue, so I had to write the whole thing again...

1. Are you named after anyone?

No. My parents had a difficult time deciding on a name and just eventually landed on the one they gave me.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Well that depends on what kind of crying... I teared up last Wednesday when my furniture and belongings arrived from being in storage for 17 months. Tears rolled down my cheeks and my breath hitched a few times when I watched ep 6 Last Twilight (damn you Aof!) nearly two weeks ago. But the last time I ugly sobbed was whilst watching a musical in June, but I was feeling especially emotional about my temporary living situation at the time.

3. Do you have kids?

No.

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

I don't play any now (but I do go to the gym) but when I was a kid I did gymnastics and then dance (although that's not a sport). I played different sports in school but only because I had to and they weren't any I really enjoyed.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Sarcasm? Who, me?! Nooooooo never.

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Probably their posture or body language.

7. What's your eye colour?

To be honest I'm not sure. There's grey and bits of blue and green and even brown but I wouldn't be able to call it a colour. I used to say hazel but then I realised hazel was more brown than my eyes are so I don't really know.

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Oh happy endings for sure. I mean, I'm on (this) tumblr because of the qls I watch so it should be obvious.

9. Any talents?

I can hold a handstand for 30 secs (I've also managed 1 min in the past but that was a while ago now) but that feels more like a party trick than a talent. I guess I could say dancing. Oh, maybe guessing the time usually quite accurately.

10. Where were you born?

In the UK, specifically England.

11. What are your hobbies?

Apart from going to the gym, handstanding and watching ql series? I'm currently obsessed with the clothes from the shows 😅...but I also like to go for walks, sometimes I play boardgames, and I like to read (I've been mainly reading fan fic recently though). I also think about lego a lot (and now I have my own place I might get some sets - bonsai tree my beloved) and I used to write but it's been a few years since I last wrote anything.

12. Do you have any pets?

No. I've had cats in the past and I'd like another cat at some point but not for a while.

13. How tall are you?

I'm not 🤭

14. What was your favourite subject in school?

I can't remember now but probably geography...but more geology than countries...or creative writing. There was a point where I enjoyed maths...but didn't study it beyond 16.

15. What is your dream job?

I'd actually like to be able to not work, or to only work part time. I've been lucky to have actually had my dream job and I'm very grateful for the opportunity/experience.
