it has literally never been a mistake to force myself out of my apartment to do something I genuinely want to do---at least, wanted to do, before inertia caught me in its grip. This still applies even when I am all cozy and snug in my bed, and forcing myself upright and into real world clothes sounds like a fate worse than death.

........the fact that I have to keep having this conversation with myself, despite years of evidence, is why people worry about the singularity.
