RON STAMPLER IS A FAILED CLONE

YES i got some people on bord so now i feel like i can lay this out, thanks @flute-mob​ and @heizehearts​ !

So I put it in the title but it really does make sence to me that Ron Stampler is not a person created under conventional means. I wont beat around the bush I think that Ron was artificialy created to be a direct replica of William Stampler but either a calculation was off, something happened in Rons development process that impacted the result, magic goes wrong, or just anything to make Ron the way he is.

First ill deal with Willy because he is the person related to some of the more crucial evidence to this theory

So what do we know about willy so far (ep 45)?

He 1) Doesnt work well with others 2) Is power driven 3) Is unsettilingly smart and 4) Doesnt want to use (or come off as using) effort to get what he wants, hence the other grand-daddys pretty much working for him, he doesnt ever use his face to work against what he thinks as ‘below him’ because if he were to show effort personally it would be a sign of weakness. Even if it would have given all of them more power to show their faces much sooner.

These things together on its own would (in a world without daddy magic) suggest he would never want a kid. And hardly even a wife!

But he is power driven. And daddy magic is one of the most powerful. Obviously you want to get in on that. Adoption would require having the kid know you wanted it so thats not even a possibility. A co-parent would only be someone who would get in the way of your plans and drag you down, even associating with a pregnant person for 9 months so you can just take the baby and run would be insufferable for him (and likely the partner as well) So? When you want something done right

you do it yourself

wether he creates Ron by science or magic isnt clear, both are possible options. But either way it leads to the same result for the same purpose. The creation of a ‘biological’ child. But kids in general are unpleassing. Just making a kid would leave too many variables up to chance. He needs this kid to be perfect so he can raise it perfectly and with ease. But to know how would require knowlege of the child. And why whould you want to work to learn what your child is like when you can just already know because that child is you

Ron as a person 

From the very begining Ron has been a little less normal. His behavior itself is proof of that. Theres been a running gag that ron doesnt know what sex is, this is a joke but it would make sence if not only did he never get the birds and the bees talk, but if the act itself was never relavent to his creation

Rons relationship with his father is a sad one, but when talking about his dad Ron almost always mentions that his dad wanted Ron to be like him. That his dads expectaions were so high they are unreasonable to be placed on any child. any kid can’t be expected to be just like their parent. But a clone? A clone, it would be so expected that the idea that it would be just like its replica isnt even questioned. Obviously these expectations would be placed on Ron regardless even after he was proven to be his own person because Willy’s an awful human being, but it is slightly more understandable as to why they were put on Ron in the first place.

Maybe Willy thought they could fix it by raising him as one that would become more like him as it grows. But it never worked.  Ron was still Ron no matter how hard Willy may have tried. 

So Willy stopped trying at one point, and seperated himself from his son. His failure. Being absent for most of Rons life .

But it didnt matter that he wasnt a perfect clone, because Willy was now a daddy. He got what he wanted! Sure the results were dissapointing, but he was officially a daddy in the forgoton realms. 

This is where this theory transistions into the one where Willy faked his death. Though I think this theory could go with or without that idea.

So yeah! The more I think about ron the more this theory makes sence to me and the more I am hoping it will be canon because I think its super cool and could possibly blow the reveal that Henry was born in the forgotton realms out of the water! Now watch as it turns out someone else made this theory already and im actually late to the party of the well known ‘Ron’s a clone’ theory!
