the quarry got me thinking about mothers in horror again ..........
#the monstrous other more like the monstrous MOTHER am i right#like i can't think of any horror games where the mother is a protagonist (in the vein of last of us)#(if you want to think of tlous as a horror game which i will for this lol)#except for uhhhh#funcom's the park#which is not like. uh. considering how that game ends it's uhhh#ANYWAY#the quarry#but also evil within 2 and presumably other examples i'm blanking on right now#(meanwhile we are SWIMMING in creepy daughters lol)#anyway if u remember any horror game mothers worth talking about please let me know haha
