steven moffat as head writer for doctor who never understood anything good about women. no, women are not some magical phenomenon that are robbed of their agency and are controlled by the whim of their confusing presence in the world. they are people, with hopes and dreams and funny little quirks. and no, those quirks do not need to be (and shouldn’t be) fucking plot devices.
