xan's candle event is so funny to me. you have to choose 1 specific option for the candles to even be significant to your charname, and yet the next day xan presents you with a lit candle no matter what you said, and if you're like um is that supposed to represent something, he's like yes but also no, and i will not explain, and also i'm still going to use this as a symbol to make a promise to you, even though i literally refuse to elaborate

#i'm so sick of him (affectionate)????#the funniest part is 3 out 4 responses to the lit candle are confusion too! you have to choose 1 specific option there for charname #to even know what's going on! when they supposedly shared their minds the previous evening?? HUH??#anyway i was trying in vain to write that scene for radri based only off my memory--#but now that ive fully reread it im like okay i have my work cut out for me bc it really didn't even make much sense to me in the original #man. when i say that xan's romance has a false neutrality and really charname's personality was predetermined to begin with--#look i love him and i see the vision but i'm going to need him to do a take 2 on this #bc i am Not letting radri just light candles and sit around waiting fruitlessly for him to visit her each night #she would be nervous. she would go see him. sorry that she's not perfect & refined & patient she would definitely go see him #and definitely think his distance was her fault Again #why are they even spending their evenings apart? what happened to 'you can sleep over in my head to escape your nightmares'?#so what--they bond and then he just pulls away Again??? and charname's just not supposed to be worried about that?#in my rewrite ive already altered his behavior a bit... i feel guilty but also not #sovo note
