anyway thinking about how as Fuck Around, Find Out as Thistle is...he is still someone who reacts. Of the Calhoun siblings, he's the more composed and rational. Jesse was an instigator, she was go go go. She was Fuck it, We Ball ALLLLL the time.

Thistle was clumsier and got caught more, was in trouble more. He got the belt more, etc etc. So he has that sort of beat of hesitance before doing stuff because it's just ingrained in him to think about potential consequences whether he wants to or not.

He's gotten some of that impulsiveness since Jesse's death, but when they were young they balanced each other out. Thistle was Jesse's angel on the shoulder and Jesse was Thistle's shoulder devil and it just worked.
