stampede was rly rly good, i liked the way it was done and think the reordering works. however i think the very most important thing that happened in all of s1 was wolfwood grabbed a big bug out of the air and ate it. big moment for me i even made max watch it

#happy orange said trigun final phase but actively rotting at the prospect that itll b after beastars 3 which is 2024 so like. a while #anyway i rewatched the original and as an og fan i like both. orig trigun anime didnt particularly handle all the story beats right #so seeing ppl complain it wasnt funny enough... well someone just didnt read the manga or maximum #and apparantly a lot of ~og fans~ never read the manga so #i like how all 3 r a diff reflection on a similar story #ppl rly wanted just a remaster of the og anime? it would never work since that style of anime is now just from a bygone era #yeah yeah urusei yatsura but id still argue the comedy beats r rly different due to the difference in animation
