Since my staunchly Protestant (or, rather, my wary-towards-Catholicism-Anglicanism-and-Orthodoxy family) don't understand my excitement, I shall tell y'all instead. I'm going to 8am Mass tomorrow at the closest church by my house :D

#i am QUITE excited actually #after weeks on end being at churches that treat communion flippantly and casually and feeling that that is just. wrong #and not being able to really ignore that feeling i am just ready to be somewhere where the Eucharist is treated reverently #no shade intended towards Protestants of which I probably am one!#all the people i met at those churches were wonderful people and i loved being there #but it kills a part of me when we get to the communion part of the service. truly it does #anyway i SHALL get to visit the serbian orthodox church next week which i am excited for as well #never having experienced eastern liturgy before
