spent like half an hour chatting with an older gay gentleman at publix today about what it was like growing up here 50ish years ago. perhaps life is worth living?
#i love nothing more than talking to older gay and trans people. theyre the greatest#turns out we have the same stomping grounds but like 35 years apart so that was really cool lol#anyway he clocked me by my rainbow belt and shoes and big swangin carabiner#and he was like. ohhhh it reminds me of my youth getting all dressed up for pride#and internally i was like. oh god i could burst into tears right now
