You should watch Mogswamp's SOS smp series!!
Tumblr media
Why? Basically, Mog is a competent person who is great at singleplayer, and adorable when doing social things (like this smp)
You won't be bored, his entire series takes about 4 and a half hours, with the last video (covering multiple weeks) being 1 hour and 14 minutes of engaging gameplay, commentary, and interactions, like all of his episodes.
And! If you were wondering why the video in the background looks like animal crossing, it's because he adds fun gimicks to many of his videos! The Stardew Valley one might be my personal favorite.
Anyways, I'm rewatching and having a blast, but I noticed his first episode only has 300k views, which i think is a crime, so if you've been on the fence, this is your sign to watch!
Here's the link to his finished series, in order!!
(embroidery details under the cut)
it's gonna be a bookmark! One of the corner ones. Plan is to fold along the orange line to make the backing, sew along the raw edges, then fold one more to get a corner pocket bookmark :)
Tumblr media
was inspired by this pinterest picture and while i'm aware they have square backs like this one, I already had the diamond mapped out for a different project. (this piece was put aside for being too small)
Gonna add some leaves to around the flowers, and more flowers across ofc, maybe wrap the edges in yellow or green? haven't decided yet, probably green.
oh, and yes this is from an old pair of jeans, they had so many holes and the fabric was too thin for me to repair them, so now its my canvas :)

One thing I've liked with fallout 76, it's got good decent environmental storytelling in it. It's better at it than Fallout 3, 4, dare I say even New Vegas in some cases.
Fallout is famous for an environmental storytelling thing. It's all of the skeletons who are found in funny poses, or all the teddy bears found in weird places with weird things. They are more injokes than anything else. What they imply is that in a world so full of corpses and shattered civilisation, still picking up the pieces two hundred years later, respect for the dead is wholly gone - life can be ended in a blink and raiders especially would move skeletons into odd positions for their own amusement. Particularly in some places, they don't even care enough to sweep the skeletons out of the building. Unfortunately, this is so prevalent it stops being meaningful and comes off as just a dumb joke, but it's the best example of 'environmental storytelling everyone knows about'
I can point to two games immediately which have setpieces that give good environmental storytelling: Halo 3 ODST and, oddly, ArmA III's singleplayer components
Halo 3 ODST is built on this. The entire thing is in some form "The Rookie is using the shattered debris of the city to make a fanfic of what he thinks happened to his squad." There's at least one sequence in Buck's mission where you can find a shotgun at the end of a hallway, with a dead marine and several dead brutes. Hmm, wonder what happened there
ArmA III… -Contact DLC has some interesting environmental stuff. You can find a dead body on a road with a blood trail back to an unlucky squad, in the midst of which a meteorite landed, with one (mortally wounded) person surviving the initial impact. Additionally you can repeatedly encounter the spetsnaz team you later ally with, doing shifty things -A scenario added as part of a part-celebration and part-charity drive includes a small church. If you approach it you suddenly hear a pair of gunshots, and you can find two dead officers (which is automatically radioed in, and dismissed as two war criminals who probably saved the executioners a bullet) - and they have a written note that sheds doubt on the righteousness of your cause -The Laws of War DLC is really good for this too - it's about picking up the pieces and deciphering what exactly happened in this one town.
Anyway, going back to 76. All four of the modern fallout games - 3, NV, 4, 76 - depict the remnants of the nuclear war. 76, being set in 2102 just 25 years after the war, has the best possibilities for this, as not too much has been disturbed, not too much has changed, like the rest that are set two centuries later. They clearly recognised this too and put in great effort on it. On the nuclear side of things: vehicles in a traffic jam trying to get to vault 76; crashed vehicles. The number of APCs with open rears: they would've been shielded from the initial blasts inside of these CBRN-capable vehicles. At least one site where there's a dead soldier's body, on an overlook, situated where they could've looked out at one beautiful view one last time. For a less military focus, all of the signs in Beckley, the destruction clearly related to the violent suppression of a Union protest; the massacre of Watoga a day before the nukes flew after an attempt to subvert the robots gone wrong; the sheer devastation of the area dedicated to mining as nobody was around to tell the automated machines to 'stop', etc A sign on the side of a piece of large electronic equipment saying "this does not have a brain, use your own" because yeah, robobrains exist, the robots themselves are practically AIs, that's a kind of warning you need in an environment of mass automation
I'd say this emphasis on environment to tell story is largely because of how 76 was designed. It was initially built to not have humans, right? Only machines, if I recall correctly. So how do they compensate for the loss of human NPCs? (The answer is they couldn't and added them back in, but nonetheless) Part of it was putting in more focus on environmental storytelling. It's a little thing, and in the grand scheme of things it's not all that important. But it's a part of games' details I really like
Environmental storytelling is best described as "a story that is willing to let you miss it" but I always feel excited when I notice something.

good morning the colosseum hyperfocus continues. i’m gonna grab some light breakfast and then it’s time for mt battle’s battle mode for ho-oh (this is my first time ever doing it)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is the team! i did the entire shadow purification grind without connecting to my GBA and i want to see if it’s possible to do mt battle without it too, so these are all my story pokemon from playing colosseum normally. i’m happy i kept the starter espeon and umbreon on the team lol. i chose not to use the legendary beasts because eh i’ve used those in playthroughs before and i just didn’t want to this time. i’m going to be playing doubles because this team was built for doubles for obvious reasons
by the time i finished catching and purifying every shadow pokemon, my flygon was level 66 but the rest of my team was between 60-63, so i had some grinding to do bc all my pokemon need to be the same level for this. i got all their levels equal last night by battling in all the various colosseums for completion’s sake - i don’t think i missed any? and this is how i got shadow ball on metagross for example, bc of the TM rewards
Tumblr media
to be honest i’ve grown attached to this team in a way i haven’t with any colosseum team before despite playing this game multiple times. i’ve never really done the postgame for colosseum fully and as a result i’ve never put this much effort into movesets and generally thinking about my team because i haven’t had to - but unless i wanted to make my grind even more miserable, i needed to to take out overleveled opponents. and that’s been a blast for me! the slow incrementation of my team has led to really rewarding battles where i feel massive brain bc everything is always stronger than you 😭
i don’t think the novelty would still be there if i did this again, at least not anytime soon, because colo’s teambuilding options are limited due to the lack of viable pokemon to choose from, and also that shadow purification grind is a nightmare straight from hell (i had fun with it bc i like video game grinding but doing it twice in a row might destroy even me lol) but this time it was really fun!!
colosseum is really like if the indigo disc DLC was an entire video game (high compliment bc i loved ID) and you also didn’t have access to easy grinding/resources in general so you really have to think about the choices you make and how you spend your time. i was thinking so far ahead while using TMs and there’s no move reminder in this game so i had to think carefully about levelup moves as well. you have no idea how long i lingered on whether or not i should delete confuse ray on umbreon, etc 😭 this game reminds me how much i love double battles and i wish there was more singleplayer double battle content in pokemon a lot
anyway i’m just rambling at this point but i’m excited to take this team to the finish line :)

FUCK IT BFN THOUGHTS SO FAR
okay so. the game is Fun but it’s not the same type of fun as garden warfare. bfn feels akin to splatoon or overwatch and if any pvz game would have meta it’d be it
first up. i think the art style is really a hit or miss bfn leans heavy with the cartoony style. which emphasises shapes, personality and geometry while the gw games emphasised texture, colours and realism. what you prefer is simply your own tastes, i prefer the gw style but i think both have their drawbacks and positives (bfn’s characters all have super strong shape language but lack gw’s detailed textures) anyway what i don’t like
i really am not a fan of how characters HAVE to have a mirror counterpart in the game. most notably the scientist and sunflower lost all their offense capabilities. i main marine biologist and frequently play + am pretty decent with some sunflowers but playing them in bfn felt so jank and weak i did not enjoy it
weird random changes to characters like the chomper not having the goop or rose’s goatify i still do not understand
almost no character has splash damage God Help Me
lack of roots on the plants
turf takeover is literally just the payload thing from ow idk what it’s called i’ve barely seen any ow in my life
sprinting. it removes the whole each character has their own speed and you work with that dynamic
smaller lobbies
overall everything just feels shorter which i don’t really like
customisations are more annoying to get
the prize bulb tree thingy idk it disrupts gameplay
ui
the voices for the new guys + sunflower sound too. Human
no gnome plot as far as i know
sound design all the bullets sound the same and i am being thrown off
now some things that i do like!
THE CHAT FUNCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i’ve been praying that it’d get added to gw since 2015
the new plants + space cadet they’re SO FUN to use i had a blast teaming up with other acorns and space cadets
the world geometry is really good
the singleplayer stuff is wonderful, but i wish there was more
the fact boss hunts aren’t a timed event is great (< missed both the zombie ones)
the fact the game is so ambitious and changes so much
also the fact it isn’t gw3
giddy park
the changes to the z-mech reticle, all-star shields actually being useful, health boosts from sunflowers/scientists
the funderdome looks fun but i have yet to play it
music
the shader genuinely rocks for dark areas ourhg
cute animations for the characters :)
scenery variety
it’s way easier to level up characters holy shit

sea of thieves: people (pirates) in video games (on the seas ) // rex talks about video games
i have an intense Fear of People in video games, especially ones that feature pvp with randos online and related game mechanics. i prefer my singleplayers, thank you very much. or local pvp with friends, because i know those people and i’m less likely to get tounge-tied and say something stupid or get so flustered i go mute. it’s gotten worse since quarantine, since i can barely talk to the cashier without forgetting how to human. it’s a work in progress.
sea of thieves has only exacerbated this issue.
every time i see another ship in the distance my brain rings All The Alarm Bells like “RED ALERT RED ALERT THERE’S ANOTHER SHIP RIGHT O V E R  T H E R E” and, more often than not, they’re hostile. once, while playing solo, i got spawncamped by a brigand and was so flustered, i forgot all the controls of the game and was unable to scupper in time. so, too afraid to leave the ship of souls for a good thirty minutes, i eventually logged out of the game.
also, sea of thieves isn’t quite as fun singleplayer. it’s not like don’t starve together where you can potentially solo the game, despite it being marked as a multiplayer game.
however, not all sea of thieves encounters are bad.
my friend and i wish we had this on camera, because it was so funny, but we were being chased by a reaper galleon. those bastards are terrifying, because obviously, we’re just two people, and reapers are good at pvp, so, yknow, for a little skiff that mainly does pve, they aren’t... the best kinds of people to tangle with.
anyways, we were just getting back to an outpost to sell all of our stuff- we typically take long missions and offload every so often to keep moving and to prevent people from trying to loot us. the sea may be massive, but it’s not that big- and the aforementioned galleon was crawling up our tail, intent on killing and looting us. galleons are quite a bit larger than skiffs, though they move a tad slower than us, so we had a head start to the outpost.
it was a rough race. i was back at the map table, anxiously watching the other ship’s silhouette slowly eating up the nautical miles as we rushed to get to the outpost and sell our stuff in time. a ghost galleon crossed out path, which we completely ignored in favor to sell our stuff first. this turned out to work in our favor, as the reaper galleon turned her back to us and started broadside with the ghost galleon.
just as we got up to the outpost and started to offload our stuff, the reaper galleon came back, charging at our little skiff with all her might. i’d just finished selling the treasure chest we’d dug up as part of our quests and turned back to find her bow completely sawing our skiff in half. this ship just crushed ours under her heel like it was just a bug on the side of the road!
my friend picked up the last skull from the sand and ran to the order of lost souls just as a blunderbuss shot sailed over our heads. over the voice chat, the reaper’s crew was blasting this rock song to which i cannot remember the name to to this day, and both of us were caught in the next blunderbuss’ shot.
on the dime, my friend sold the skull and vanished, laughing. “byeeee!!!! quit to desktop!!!” he yelled into the call over discord as i turned around to see the reaper crew right behind me. i froze in place, all thoughts stilling in my brain while i process what the hell has just happened, and preparing for the guy to start ripping me to shreds.
but instead...
he just waved.
and i stood there, dumbstruck, my hands over the keyboard, staring at this waving avatar, before leaving the shop. the rest of the crew came up the shore, checking out all the merchants’ wares, browsing idly, and not really paying much attention to me, the deer in the headlights. if they were talking over the in-game voice chat, i couldn’t hear; i typically have it muted, though i suppose this time i didn’t, as i heard whatever music they were playing over the chat as they came up and crunched our ship into a bunch of wooden planks.
and then i quit to desktop, quite confused and nervous laughing over whatever the fuck just happened in the last sea of thieves session.
what the hell.
what are people.

Project Full Moon [Semi-Vanilla] [PvP] {Whitelist}
Full Moon is a whitelisted Semi-Vanilla Minecraft server project. Its idea is to improve vanilla Minecraft experience by adding and adjusting some features with data packs and rules thus making the game more challenging and interesting to play.
What could be looked at as the beginning of the Full Moon is the old times when I (the founder of this project) and close friends of mine had a small private server with this idea. Since it worked out fantastically, and we had a blast playing it I want to bring it back to life again but this time bigger and better.
We all know Minecraft is a sandbox game. Other than defeating the Dragon or let’s say getting the achievements there really aren’t any set goals. The way I see it, players get together and create closed communities to make the game last longer, be more fun, etc. but these communities usually don't last very long. To put it simply everyone still plays the game as if it's singleplayer. I want to change that. The community is the core of this project. Many activities, events, and general gameplay are going to be based on interaction with and just being around other players. Here's how it's going to work.
The server has a big spawn which is basically a safe zone made of players’ houses/bases, markets/shops/trading areas, general buildings for entertainment like minigames, community structures like farms and so on. In order to avoid the mess, everything more or less is split across the land into smaller areas. The choice of the global building style is medieval. No crazy floating spaceships or houses made of wool will be acceptable. In order to create a specific style or a texture, it's allowed to expand the palette of blocks but to keep the game realistic and consistent forget all the rainbow "puke".
The reason why I call the spawn the safe zone is because of PvP. Outside the safe zone, it’s all about you. Any other player for no reason can kill you and take your loot. Chests can be looted, buildings can be destroyed, raided unless it’s marked as community property. Same goes for The End and Nether unless it’s Nether Hub or the main island of The End. All those little details are in the Book of Rules which is available for members of the project. So, as I mentioned before the project’s goal is to enhance all aspects of Minecraft and fighting is one of it. Eventually, all players will have to risk getting resources or buy them from others, therefore, creating an economy.
One more thing the project has are events to which members of the community can and should contribute. It can be as simple as a group of players goes together to defeat the Dragon or there's someone’s made minigame that can be played for a prize. All players have a chance to create some sort of event themselves and allow others to take part in it. This means there always will be things to do in free time.
Full Moon is not a short term “I’m bored... wanna play some... have nothing better to do...” deal. It’s a commitment to a seriously aimed project which is set to last for a long period. We are accepting people who have time to play games, and they choose Minecraft without hesitation. We understand there is work/school or just life to take care of thus project has no specific amount of time set to be spent in the server but note that if you want to become a member one way or another you’ll have to show that you’re active and also... creative. Like I mentioned at the beginning Minecraft isn't a long game so you must have things to do. Build, explore, fight others it doesn’t matter. Ability to come up with ideas to make you interested in playing is crucial.
Anyway, that's a Full Moon for ya. If you want to join, fill and submit the form located below. If we think you'd fit right in we’ll send you an invitation in 1-2 days, and then we'll proceed with making you a member of the project.

Minecraft 1.18 will be released on November 30th.
Since I probably won't be finished with Mana and Artifice by then, I'll need to figure how I'm going to play on 2 worlds at once, I'd rather not add to more than 1 journal per day.
My master will have to play on 3 worlds at once, since he'll be starting a multiplayer survival world with his friends, which I won't be part of, but he'll still need to roleplay as me when I'm playing on my singleplayer worlds.
Anyway...
-November 18th, Trainee Wizard's Journal, Entry 24-
I think I'm ready to go to the end, and fight the ender queen (I feel like I should specify which queen I'm referring to, because faerie queens are a thing in this mod).
I managed to defeat her without any trouble, and with how much exp I got, I'm surprised my crystal of memories isn't full.
Anyway, while I'm here, I'm going to grab a bunch of ender pearls and hopefully some elytra and shulker boxes.
Luckily the end gateway was right next to an end city, though unfortunately it was a small one that didn't have any treasure apart from shulker shells, which I only got 3 of.
The end is actually really easy for me to travel across, since I can fly infinitely (just not quickly), and no enemy faction members spawn.
I found another end city, but it was another small one, and it didn't have elytra.
If I was smarter, I would have brought a compass that locates end cities, but I didn't.
I decided to stop before finding another end city, all I ended up getting were 6 shulker shells, some enchanted armor, and a few other items.
I combined my helmet with one I found, upgrading to Blast Protection IV, and adding Unbreaking III, Mending, and Respiration II, and I combined my chestplate with one I found, adding Unbreaking III and Thorns II, I also found a pair of diamond boots, but I can't combine them with my current boots since I'm still using iron armor.
Instead, I combined my boots with a pair of Soul Speed III boots that I had gotten from bartering earlier, not sure why I didn't do this when I got them.
I have an idea for how I can find more eldrin wellsprings without elytra, I can make a Self - Haste spell with Magnitude and Duration modifiers, so I can max out the buff intensity, and not have to recast it every 5 seconds.
Haste doesn't actually give you haste, it gives speed, the most I can sustain is speed V for 65 seconds.
This spell does require a lot of different resources to craft, but luckily most of them are things I either already have, or can get very easily, the 2 exceptions are a rabbit's foot, and a brewing stand, both of which are annoying.
The rabbit's foot is annoying because I went out hunting rabbits, my statistics say I've killed 22 of them, but I still haven't gotten a rabbit's foot.
The brewing stand is annoying because I already turned all my blaze rods into blaze powder, so I'll need to go to the nether fortress to get more.
I think I've played enough today.

Let’s Talk About Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch
Nintendo has long been a game company that relies heavily on their original IPs as opposed to third party games for their consoles. Usually when someone remembers a classic game on a Nintendo console, it’s usually one of the exclusives Nintendo has. Zelda, Mario, Kirby, all of those are iconic brands with several games that are considered to be iconic for how fun, memorable, and charming they were. A couple of years ago, Nintendo finally took another risk with an entirely new IP about a bunch of squids. This wouldn’t seem too strange, except it was meant to be played as an online multiplayer shooter. Nintendo. Doing an online game. With elements of third-person shooting games.
What sort of timeline are we living in? Well, joke’s on us, because even though it came out on one of their less popular consoles, the Wii U, the first Splatoon game was a hit with critics and players alike, with everyone praising it for its charming looks, fun gameplay, and memorable style. I myself never really got the chance to play it, so when Splatoon 2 was announced for the Nintendo Switch, you know I had to get my hands on it. I got to participate in the pre-release Splatfest, a recurring battle that splits players into two factions based on a “Which is better?” question, and it just got me more excited to play the full release version of Splatoon 2.
And by God, it was certainly worth the wait.
Tumblr media
Splatoon 2 is one of the must-have titles available on the Nintendo Switch. I genuinely think it should be in every Switch owner’s library. Even if you’re not typically a fan of third person shooters, I implore you to give this game a try. It has a very enjoyable single-player mode that will help you learn some tricks to use in the multiplayer mode, and the multiplayer games themselves are incredibly fun and addictive, though they do make some questionable choices that I’ll address later.
Let me start this off by saying that this game looks amazing. It’s extremely bright, vibrant, and colorful in all the right places, with little details thrown in to make the world of Splatoon 2 stand out even more. Your central hub is a city square known as “Inkopolis Square”, and you use that to get around the various shops and access the different game modes available. There’s even a little DDR-styled minigame you can access that not only lets you listen to the fantastically fun and bouncy soundtrack, but also break your thumbs in frustration because you can’t keep up with the stupid beat of the songs. Aside from that, you can jump between the shops by accessing the menu if you don’t want to bother walking around or get lost easily. It’s a nice little feature that I enjoyed, as I constantly forgot where the shirt shop was.
I do have to say I was a little bothered by how I couldn’t switch off the motion controls for the tutorial section that the game makes you start out with, but once you reach the main square you’re allowed to fiddle with it to your heart’s content. I’m very glad they’re not mandatory. The options also allow you to lock the ink colors if you’re partially color-blind, which I’m actually very happy they included. It’s little touches like this that make up the reasons I ended up loving this game.
In the singleplayer mode, you play as a nameless Inkling (the name of the squidkid race present in Splatoon) who is tasked with rescuing the Great Zapfish from the evil Octarian menace. It’s once again not meant to convey a great story, it’s just a setup meant to get you to play through twenty-eight levels where you splat, jump, and squid your way through to save smaller zapfishes. I say “squid your way”, because one of the main mechanics of the game is your ability to freely switch between Kid and Squid forms. Kid form lets you use weapons, jump around, move, etc. Squid form lets you swim around in the ink you threw around, climb up walls, and just generally helps you maneuver yourself into better positions to take out whoever is trying to take you out. You move faster on your own ink, but slow down and take damage over time if you’re on the enemy’s ink. You can cover their ink with your weapon, and they can cover yours, so it’s beneficial to be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to which color is surrounding you at that time.
The campaign isn’t very difficult, though there are some platforming moments that I remember getting frustrated with, mostly because I wanted to get all of the collectibles and was very impatient at the time. One thing I will admit I feel torn about is the way they implemented the different weapon types into the campaign. On the one hand, you actually got to use the several different weapons that Splatoon has to offer. From a “charger” weapon that acts like a sniper rifle, to a giant paint-roller that excels in everything related to close combat, the variety in the weapons is very impressive. Compared to the way they just forced you to only use one weapon throughout the entirety of the campaign in the first game, this was such an improvement. However, every level forces you to use that one weapon, no matter how much you hate it.
For example, in a previous level you could have breezed through it using the Dual Splatties, a sort of dual pistol rapid-fire short range weapon that I really enjoyed using, but then the next level would force you to use the frustratingly slow Charger weapon that I just can’t bring myself to enjoy. I’m not really much of a sniper person to begin with anyways, so it just felt annoying to have to adjust to a weapon I wouldn’t really pick in the multiplayer mode anyways. And that’s what the single player really is all about: preparing you to dive into the real meat of the game, which is the beautifully done multiplayer mode.
In the multiplayer section, you have four different types of games you can play. There’s the casual Turf War, where the goal of the game is to ink more of the current map with your colored ink than the other team. The team with the most ground covered at the end wins. Pretty simple, and it’s just a fun, casual way to enjoy the game and rank up. Once you hit level 10, you can start doing competitive battles where the rules change on a set schedule. One day it could be a capture the flag sort of game, the next it could be a “push the payload” situation. These battles are ranked, starting you at the C- rank and giving you the chance to climb all the way up to S+ I believe. I haven’t spent much time with this yet, but from what I’ve experienced it is fun to blast your way through in a more strategic manner. There’s a “League Battle” mode that you can play when you reach Level 25, but I haven’t gotten there just yet. If there’s one thing I have to complain about with these modes is that I don’t really feel like the matchmaking system is very fair, at least for the casual mode. I was Level 6 or 7 at the time, but I was being put against teams that had their lowest member at Level 17. It felt like it was a crapshoot on whether or not the match would be fair or completely one-sided.
Finally, there’s the enigmatic, frustrating, extremely fun game mode known as “Salmon Run”. This game mode takes you and three other players and pits you in a cooperative horde mode against creatures known as Salmonids. Your job is to collect a certain amount of Golden Power Eggs from the tougher Boss Salmonids while using pre-chosen weapons provided at random. At the start of each wave, you’re assigned one of four random weapons, and you have to work together to survive the salmonids and collect the eggs. If your entire team is killed or you fail to collect enough eggs, the game is over, and you lose a bit of your Salmon Run ranking. Yes, there’s a ranking for Salmon Run, but it really only applies to how much experience you get for the in-game rewards.
I call it “frustrating” because even though I adore this game mode and how it encourages teamwork, it does have a few issues. It feels like the difficulty can be extremely random at times, with some Boss Salmonids being much tougher to beat than others, and the way the maps can actually change during the match. For example, some maps have a low tide and high tide, giving you either more map room to work with, or so little that it feels like it’s way too easy to get cornered and separated from your team. It’d make more sense if this happened later in the match, but it can happen at seemingly any moment. Or maybe that was just my luck kicking in.
And then there’s the weirdest thing about Salmon Run: It’s not always available to play. For some reason or another, this game is on a schedule, being available some days and shut down on others. I can’t figure out why this choice was made, and it still baffles me as I write this review out.
To give yourself an edge in the multiplayer modes (aside from Salmon Run), you can actually buy clothes and accessories that come with passive bonuses, such as giving you damage resistance, faster moving or better swim speed. These little bonuses can make all the difference, and if you really like the way a particular piece of clothing looks but not the bonuses, you can add or reroll certain bonuses on the item until you’re happy with both how you look and how it helps you play. It’s a neat little system that allows you to make your own unique Inkling.
If there’s one thing to take away from this very long-winded review, it’s that Splatoon 2 is an essential title for anyone’s Nintendo Switch library. It’s one of the reasons to own a Switch, and with more free DLC content on the way, I don’t have an inkling of an idea as to why you shouldn’t own one of Nintendo’s best new games. I’d say it’s a splatting success.
