Ummm...gonna go left field and share a blam (Sam/Blaine from Glee) headcanon since I feel slightly strange about calling RPF stuff headcanons in the same way, but:

Sam pretty much returns Blaine's crush as soon as he realises Blaine has a crush on him, but he doesn't figure out that's how he feels for a while because he's like 'Blaine is just my good bro, right?' and also doesn't realise bisexuality exists/that's a thing he can be. Then he opens up to Brittany about it (since, you know, he's dating her, and she is also bisexual) and she's like "yeah Sam you can like both" so Sam is like yay yippee I have a crush on Blaine but is still a little in denial about it since he's. You know. Still in a relationship. This is why he's so weirdly pushy about Blaine admitting his crush on Sam to him in Guilty Pleasures. Anyway angsty ending Sam doesn't tell Blaine before Blaine gets engaged to Kurt and now it's too awkward to come out to him since his discovery of his sexuality was BECAUSE of Blaine (and maybe emotional affair shenanigans happen in New York and they get together eventually). And that's what you missed on Glee!

What do you think Santana’s parental situation is? Do you think her parents are still married? And what do you think of her non-existent father?

I think based on a few throwaway lines in s3 we can assume her Dad is still around, and married to her Mom until at least the end of season 3. I like to believe they were still together in s6, and he attended the wedding off-screen somewhere because Glee didn't bother to cast someone to play him lol (maybe he and Quinn were drinking in the back together somewhere idk). My personal headcanon is that he's a workaholic doctor and maybe a little emotionally detached, so he wasn't around for Santana much growing up in any sense of the word. But there's love there. He probably overheard her and Brittany hooking up during sophomore year while coming home late from work one night and was just too awkward to say anything. Not even to Maribel. When Santana came out to him, he was just like... and?

Her Mom is clearly more present in her life, but I'd say she probably also worked full time so Santana would've spent a lot of her childhood crashing at her Abuela's house or hanging out with friends instead of at home. That caused her to be able to hide a lot of herself from her parents through her early teens, and being raised by her Abuela gave her a mean kick which her Mom didn't love because I reminded her of her own childhood, and habits she's still trying to break free of. I'd say her Mom in particular would've picked up on a lot of Santana's secrets anyway and maybe waited for the right time to bring it up on each occasion. Her sexuality was the elephant in the room for years. They grew closer after Santana came out, because losing her Abuela hit hard and her Mom absolutely lost it at the old hag on her behalf. Plates. Were. Thrown.

As for post s6, Santana is 100% one of those young adults who calls her Mom at random now, whenever she wants to chat. It drives Maribel crazy because Santana has the worst timing, but she secretly loves the fact she's managed to grow closer to her daughter as she grew up, despite not being there as much as she wanted to while Santana was a kid. Santana sees her Abuela from time to time, but she's more wary around her than before for obvious reasons. Her Dad is planning on retiring soon, so maybe they can get to know each other one day too.

Mitsuhide

You would feel the disturbance in the force. One minute this dude is saying the foulest shit you’ve ever heard in your life the next he’s gone silent. Face pale as if he’s seen a ghost

Mitsuhide makes himself known with a casual hand to your lower back as he greets you and asks “who your friend is.”

The man is a big ball of nerves and you find yourself unable to reply for a moment before you happily say “we’re just acquaintances.” 

The sengoku is a dangerous place to make enemies but you’re certain you wont have any problems with this douche again anytime soon.

It’s been nearly a month when you realize the man who had been giving you a tough go around hasn’t been seen anywhere. A point Mitsuhide casually brings up in conversation with you. 

You roll your eyes and pat him on the back. Dropping down to place a quick kiss on his temple as a thank you. 

He claims to have no idea what you’re talking about but says your welcome anyway. You know better than to believe that smirk on his face. 

Masamune

The man had been downright ornery when you told him to keep his hands to himself unless he wanted a good smack to the face. 

He did not oblige until Masamune walked up loud as hell. Hand on his sword handle trying to figure out what had you so riled up.  You were never one for needless violence. 

When you explain what the creep did Masamune gives him a look and the chase is on. You’re left standing by yourself in town wondering exactly how long this is going to take. 

For what seems like hours by yourself you peruse the market stalls only to hear the clamor of a crowd behind you. 

When you turn to see what’s going on Masamune can clearly be seen dragging your harasser through town by the back of his haori.

He’s dumped at your feet and without pause the man bows deeply and apologises profusely. 

You’re not sure what happened while you were on your own, but the look of unadulterated glee on Masamune’s face tells you, you probably don’t want to know. 

Nobunaga

Threatens to banish the dude. The literal first words out of his mouth are “begone” you find it so endeering you almost laugh. 

You might have if Nobunaga hadn’t pulled out his sword. The man looked up in disbelief. He hadn’t meant to upset Nobunaga.

There wasn’t much else to be said. He was on his first trip out of there. It took a hot minute for you to be left alone in the markets again though.

Either Nobunaga or one of your warlord friends was enlisted to accompany you, for safety measures. 

You didn’t mind your little trips to the market with nobunaga though, you quite looked forward to them actually. 

Hideyoshi

He had tried to talk the situation down. When that doesn’t work and the man keeps spewing his thoughts his hand grows tight around your wrist.

Hideyoshi pulls you as close to him as possible, so you’re glued up against his side. This dick can’t get to you if he can’t get through Hideyoshi first.

You can see the rage in his eyes as his voice shakes, he usually a very diplomatic man, but you can see all the wrong wheels turning. 

Let’s head out. You suggest. He only shakes his head, refusing to break eye contact with the foulest of men. 

A crowd was starting to gather, not that you blamed them. It wasn’t often Hideyoshi got like this. The people wanted to see what had caused such a commotion. 

Eventually he backs down when Hideyoshi’s fan club (and your friends) start to belittle him in public.

The whole debacle earns him bad business in town and he’s gone within a week. Run out. 

Kenshin

He’s a dead man. 

It takes so much convincing to let you out of his sight. You’re frustrated because it feels like square three all over again but you can work through it. 

He holds you tighter at night, constantly checks in on you, makes sure that you’re okay. Physically and emotionally. 

You need a little space at first, eventually he relents and you both have the time to calm down and regroup.

Always tries to make sure that you’re alright when you’re off on your own. Still lurks, from time to time, just to make sure you’re alright.

Scarlett knows that there are rumors about her dad being in the mob. In fact, she sometimes tells people that the rumors are true just to get them off her back. Of course, Scarlett is pretty sarcastic, so no one truly believes her. She doesn’t care that people think her dad is a part of the mob because she likes that people are afraid of him. Scarlett believes that her dad is involved in some illegal activity, but she doesn’t care enough to find out more. As long as they are wealthy, Scarlett will let her dad’s illegal acts slide.

Growing up with money, allowed Scarlett to embrace her vindictive side. Whenever one of her friends “wronged” her, she always tried to seek revenge on them, like sleeping with their boyfriends or girlfriends or buying the items they could only wish for. This caused her not to have many close friends as a teenager, but this side of her only increased once she got settled into high school. She cheated on most of her significant others whenever she got bored or they pissed her off. Scarlett does not mind making out with strangers or her classmate’s partners. She usually blames it on her being drunk, but it’s just her not caring about anyone’s feelings.

After a night of drinking, she landed in bed with one of her best friend’s boyfriend. She completely regrets her actions and wants to forget that it even happened. Only the boyfriend is now blackmailing her to keep their night a secret. Scarlett was giving him hush money each month, but she has recently stopped. Now, she is afraid that her best friend, and everybody in school, will find out about her past discretions.

Headcanons:

Scarlett loves to play the piano. She learned because her family is in the piano business, but she hides her talents from her friends and family. She pretends that she doesn’t enjoy playing the piano, when in fact, she is a very skilled at it.

Scarlett doesn’t consider herself mean, but she’s isn’t exactly nice either. She is opinionated and sarcastic, and will gladly tell you how she feels about certain subjects. However, she does have a soft side that her friends and family get to see on a daily basis.

Scarlett believes that she is the complete opposite of Sugar, and she sometimes questions how they are even related. She is surprised that they get along, but she does like having her around.

Despite all the cheating she has done, Scarlett does believe in love. She just doesn’t think that she will ever find it, and if she does, she’s afraid that they will find out about her past and leave, anyways. So, Scarlett would rather not put herself through the heartbreak.

Secrets:

Mickey was made by her mother to do beauty pageants when she was a kid. She couldn’t stand it and as soon as she was old enough to openly object to putting on a dress, she screamed. She’s embarrassed by it, so the only people who know are her siblings. Her mother, though seldom around, thinks it’s just as well, it isn’t as if she grew up to be tall enough to model.

Mickey was arrested at a Trump protest back in November, but she knew better than to call either of her siblings. Instead of calling their parents, or God forbid, calling Madison or Mason, she called their aunt who came to pick her up and agreed not to tell her parents, not that they would care, anyway.

Headcanons: 

- Mickey is very vocal about what she believes in, whether that means standing up for her belief in never wearing orange nail polish or the importance of freedom of religion. She’s always up for a debate.

- Like her siblings and her parents, she is very gifted musically and has played guitar since age 10.

- On weekends, she can mostly be found at some sort of protest or march. Right now, it’s important to her to get involved more than it ever has been, and she won’t stop until she’s left a mark on this world. However, sometimes these things can get in the way of her study time and she’ll slip a little in school.

- She donates half of the money she makes from babysitting to Planned Parenthood because they need every cent they can get.

- She loves her brother and sister more than anything, but sometimes she feels like they’re on a different planet than she is. Still, she makes the effort to be close with them even though they’re vastly different from her in a lot of aspects. She knows that even though she can be sarcastic and bratty at them, they’re all she’s got in the end.

- She has no idea what she wants to do in this life, but she knows that she wants to help people and bring a little bit more justice and good things into the forefront of society.
