everytime i see people argue about villain vs antagonist discourse and blah blah "oh let characters be morally grey", i think about how people suddenly turned against claude when he finally got his own story but like it still being morally better than sb so the only complaint people could say is "oh no he killed sylvain's shitty dad that we dont actually care about how terrible, oh no the character who dies on every single timeline but one dies against how could claude do this"
