Wait no why was Pekoms reuniting with Pedro and Zepo in Big Mom’s territory 5 years ago so ASL-coded??

Like imagining Luffy, after not having seen his brothers for a while, stumbling upon them on some island, launching himself at them and smothering them with his flying hug.

They’re happy to see him but he hugs tighter than most so it’s like. Laugh/sweat drop emoji?

Also Pedro and Zepo are probs on some mission and don’t wanna get Pekoms involved, so thinking about Ace and Sabo briefly having their missions align (Whitebeard sending Ace and Dragon sending Sabo) and deciding to work together. Only to run into their troublesome little brother who they definitely don’t want involved in whatever business bc a) he’s their baby bro and regardless of years and devil fruit, they wanna protect him, and b) he’ll inadvertently make their mission 10x harder by virtue of being Luffy XD

Also I have to imagine that they were just having a convo recalling how Luffy would always beg to join their schemes and would stubbornly follow them around until they let him in, and it’s lucky that he wasn’t here now. Although they miss him.

And then suddenly, “Ace? Sabo?” And they both deep sigh bc ofc he’s there.

Pekoms full sprinting towards them and Pedro and Zepo quietly opening their arms knowing what’s about to happen (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`) knowing Pekoms gonna garchu the hell outta them even if they are rough and tumble pirates with cool gravelly voices and epic hair. Minks be giving small town vibes and Pedro and Zepo are older brother types for all the 30-40yo range of adults.
