I think I might want to write a 40 page essay comparing the representation of female characters in the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels vs the film
#it's just so interesting to me#like in many many ways it's much better in the graphic novels??#Ramona quite literally gets to fight her own battles#redeem herself#all of that yk??#as well as that people like envy adams are much more human#she gets such an interesting and sad arc in the final comic it's amazing#and KNIVES I don't even have to start with knives but the film did her so dirty#AND ROXIE??? SHE WAS.
