They do take a percentage of donations but in my experience ppl fundraising for pet medical expenses especially get a MUCH bigger response that way. i considered it but i just feel really guilty about it cause there are so many ppl that need assistance more than i do, and i will be able to scrape by its just that im also saving for my college living expenses and supplies, top surgery (which my parents are expecting me to pay 50% of the cost if not more), and hopefully to be able to move out soon and this vet bill would kinda wipe me out/leave me almost right where i started at the beginning of quarantine/the gap year i took to work which would basically erase all of the savings ive gathered over the past year which just is so disheartening and makes me feel like ill never afford my top surgery, be able to move out, etc. like i said in the original post its Not Urgent nor is it a life-or-death situation its just that ive been working so hard to try and save up for these multiple expenses coming my way and this vet bill on top of the other hundreds of dollars ive spent on ipod kinda would wipe out everything that ive been working for which is not great. like i just feel so guilty about the whole thing so im not comfortable setting up a whole gofundme or anything but maybe ill make a ko-fi or sumthing ? also i just wanna reiterate again This Is Not A Life Or Death Situation So Please Prioritize Living Funds for Black, Brown, and Indigenous Folks, LGBT Folks, Disabled Folks, Palestinian Relief Funds, Etc And If You Have Anything Left Over Feel Free To Send It My Way If You Feel So Inclined But Again This Is Not Super Urgent So Please Keep That In Mind, Thank You So Much!!!
