Let's settle our score. You and I !

Another hc of mine, though in this it's more like brotherly relationship.

Explanation and rambling below!

Meta Knight knew and acknowledged that Kirby is strong, (stronger than himself which took years and more difficulties to accept that fact) and so he treated him as an equal despite their age difference and personalities. And so, their brotherly bond is formed and it's perfect.

Meta Knight who has a streak of mischevous hidden underneath his serious exterior and Kirby being all sunshine and rainbows but in actuality he's a menace; made the duo quite deadly.

Bandana and Dedede were the ones who had to keep the two in check. God forbids if two of them decided to create chaos which could potentially destroy their home. They've dealt with invaders, they don't need two accidental ones.

Despite their brotherly relationship, it doesn't mean Kirby did not see him as a father figure and vice versa. In fact, Meta Knight is the closest one that he could consider a father in terms of their species. So in some nights where Kirby was haunted by mistakes and faults, he would silently made his way to Meta Knight's quarters for company. Said knight didn't mind it at all (their species are quite social) so he let him be comfortable.

Meta Knight never desired to have children of his own despite being so good in handling them, but seeing Kirby as his son figure (?) made him almost changed his mind. He's still dead set on not having children.. but there's some hesitation.

Bonus:

Dedede: I get how Kirby got injured since he's a bad driver...but why are you soaking wet?

(Kirby smacked a nearby cliff while going hyperspeed to beat Meta Knight. Said knight was hit by very fast Kirby and landed head first into the ocean below)

Kirby: I'm not a bad driver!!

MK: ...

BWD: Kirby... we've been through together a lot by now... You are a bad driver.. (just like Meta Knight)

Kirby: Hey!!

MK: How much do I need to pay you to not tell everyone that?

BWD: Your stash of chocolate!

MK: ....

MK: I hate you

I'm looking at the time and now I have less than 5 hours to get ready for tomorrow's licence test. Insomnia, fail me now.
