Reasons I won’t write some things:

1) if your ask is super super specific and already seems to be really fleshed out (I’m talking 100-200 words just to explain your idea) then I’d love for you to go ahead and write that yourself! With requests like this, I get really nervous that I’m not doing it exactly the way you want it, and that if I diverge from that, I’m not hitting the spot. To fix this, look at your request and boil it down to what emotions/actions/tropes you want present and ask me those! I’ll be able to do a much better job :)

2) for Star Wars requests, if your ask closely resembles r*ylo or has rey as a main character, I probably won’t feel comfortable with it because of my stance on r*ylo in general and that’s a can of worms I just do not want to open lol. To fix this, ask for something that doesn’t resemble r*ylo, or if a secondary character is crucial to the plot, just say ‘someone else’ and I’ll fill in the blank!

3) if your ask is not reader/self insert, I probably won’t write it.

4) if your ask has a kink/fetish that I don’t identify with and don’t think I could do justice to, or am ethically against, then I won’t write it. Unless you’re requesting something non/dub con, involving minors, or something gory, I’ll address these on a case by case basis! To fix this, ask me to write something for a different kink, or ask me to recommend a writer who could write that kink for you!

5) if your ask revolves around non-canon children, or focuses heavily on children, I might choose not to write it. Personally, I don’t want kids so I find it hard to write about them, and especially because a lot of my content is dirty, I want to keep kids separate from that. To fix this, request domestic couple stuff generally, or fic with pets!

6) if your request is for a reader with specific physical attributes, I will usually turn down these requests. The beauty of reader/self insert is that it’s broadly applicable to those who might read it, and a lot of these requests tend to resemble “would X character really love me if I’m Y?” And the answer is hell yes! If any of my writing ever feels like it’s not inclusive, please call me out! A lot of the time, I’ll write fem!reader, and some of the time, I’ll include backstory that won’t be applicable to everyone, but beyond that, the reader should be vague enough that their stature, race, body type, etc should be representative of everyone. I’m a white, cis, plus size woman, so I’m writing from that perspective, but part of antiracist fandom work is decolonizing reader insert characters, so please, please let me know if anything I’m writing is alienating. 

7) if I don’t like the request, or you’re rude in the way you ask it. I reserve the right to not write anything I don’t feel like writing, because this is not my job and I am doing this for fun! Also, If you don’t include basic etiquette like please and thank you, I probably won’t answer your ask. I’m a human being behind this askbox, so please talk to me like I’m not just a writing generator.
