I hate to be overly negative on main, but I don’t have a sideblog for negativity, so I’ll slide it under the cut. Not trying to rain on anyone’s parade, I just want to express myself in a post that’ll probably get no notes, which I am fine with
b*auy*sha gives me a headache
#antibeauyasha#update: actually screw it if others on the other side of the aisle are going to do it then fuck it#using original tag as spelled#anti beauyasha#if you don’t like someone’s opinion then ignore their post

Remember how soft and protective and loving Beau was with Jester? Remember how protective and caring and almost ~desperately invested~ Jester was with Beau??? I MISS THEM! I don't want to compare by and bj,but it is what it is, and has Yash ever made Beau laugh? Like, have they had fun together? Beaujes was just so good together! They could go from serious to goofy to supportive to vulnerable in one convo! And the CARE and the not always having the same opinions but open to each other anyway!!
BJ is how I have interacted with my romantic partners while BY is how I have interacted with people I’ve recently met that are also gay.
To me the BY “flirting” has more fallen in line with my experiences interacting with other LGBT+ people where you make sexual innuendo jokes as a means to connect with someone that has similar experiences if that makes sense. I feel like its one way the LGBT+ community communicates with each other as a way of saying “I get it. it’s cool, it’s fun, it’s normal” you know as a means of making light of and normalizing the things about us that, when we were growing up, were seen as not normal, not common, and not to be taken lightly.
So in that sense I never really thought of those BY interactions as flirting but more just how gays talk to each other because that’s been my experience.
And relating to another gay with your mutual gayness is like, real surface level stuff and like one of the only things BY are comfortable talking about with each other, if they ever try to go deeper they can barely let out a coherent sentence. How am I suppose to believe they would be good together, make each other better, grow together, have fun together, or even respectfully have differing opinions from each other when they can’t even form 2 sentences together.
Like they can be sexually attracted to each other and care about each other as friends. They could have a torrid affair because of their attraction to each other. But I don’t think it is/would be romantic no matter how hard the Cast tries to tell us it is romantic.
BJ on the other hand has the depth, the range, the understanding. They just don’t have as many sexual innuendo interactions because Beau is unsure of Jester’s sexuality so they don’t have that mutual joking yet. That is not to say they haven’t flirted with each other, because they have. Jester always complimenting Beau’s abs, Beau saying Jester is very attractive and also looks good with a purple sunburn. so yeah inconclusion BJ has it all. Thanks for coming to my TED talk
