The overwhelming lack of media literacy in squid game fandom is soooo frustrating

I joined this fandom again after S2 because I wanted to see what people were thinking and theorizing; the themes of this series are so interesting. Plus some of y’all are really funny so it was nice to read the episodes reaction threads after I finished them. I like the memes, the occasional edits; overall just people being excited about things

Those type of posts don’t bug me, more annoying to me is when I have to scroll through 54334455 posts in social media like “has anyone noticed In ho look like Mads Mikkelsen” or “omg who edited this wiki page” (You. You did.) posts, or 3344456233 posts about shipping the characters to the point that now are mischaracterized or shipping the actors themselves (just… no)...

That’s why all these ultra stupid theories are abound. “The frontman is the old man’s son cus the frontman can’t drink milk!” What sense does that make? Gi hun didn’t drink milk either. Are they both his sons?

seungho is a spoiled brat and obviously a r*pist so he’s bad without question. but i think inhun is just as bad, if not more. and i do not want anything good to happen to that selfish man either.

ugh idk i never liked inhun, especially since the first time seungho approached him. and it's worse that nakyum went so far as to try and physically stop seungho from attacking him in ch27 and ended up getting attacked once again just for the sake of that ugly bastard! and he doesn't even care about him! disgusting ung. he even asked nakyum to spy on seungho for him 🙄 the gall !
