𝐀 𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐇𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐍 The Marvel cast x Org teen femreader!
Part 1: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
Summary: ❝Rhiannon Hart's life as she used to know it was about to change. She was a young actress in progress from a small town in Minnesota playing small roles from a very young age, After months of her latest project, Rhiannon thought she would continue with her daily routine, concentrating on her studies and resting. Until her representative gets her an audition with Marvel Studios, for a new character. After her audition, Rhiannon didn't believe she could be selected to play the new character, until Kevin Faige contacts her to give her the good news...❞
Part 1 of a series. Words: 1.661 Warnings: Angs, fluffy, silly things. Bad parents. A lovely and supporting grandma. She is just a girl wanting to be something in her life. This fics is was created for fun, nothing serious, also this fics is set in 2015, before the filming of Captain America: Civil War.
Autor's note: Hi! English is not my first language, and I apologize if there are any grammatical errors, you may find translation errors since I have little knowledge of English and mostly use Google Translate. I was also planning to move the fanfic to A03, but maybe I'll do it later. It's a little short ,but i'm gonna try to do the next chapter a little longer.
Hope you like it!
Rihannon knew the process of every audition she had ever had in her life, each audition had led her to have a small role as an extra character who only appeared for a few minutes, or a secondary character who only appeared for a short period of time in several series or films, whether they are films on the small screen or recognized TV series.
But no audition compared to the one she was going to have right now.
It's not every day that your agent gets you an audition to play a new character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Not much was known about the new character, apart from confirming that it was going to be a female character, the mysterious announcement about the casting for that new character had been announced the same day that Marvel confirmed that they had opened casting for a new Spider-Man interpreter, and that excited all the fans including rhiannon.
It had been confirmed that the new mysterious character and Spider-Man would have to be close to adolescence and that they would be something like a duo, a friendship that would form unexpectedly and not at all romantic, just platonic.
And that drove the fans crazy, forming theories about whether he was Black Cat or some villain or antihero from the Spider-Man universe.
But many fans corrected them by saying that the mysterious character could be a friend of Spider-Man and Peter Parker, based on what Marvel Studios announced.
Everyone had their suspicions and theories, and yet weeks after its announcement, Marvel still did not reveal anything.
Wiping the sweat from her hands on her flannel shirt, Rihannon stood in front of the door of the large building in front of her, her head unable to question herself and create scenarios of what could go wrong at her audition.
She loved his job, she loved the world of art and acting, but she never imagined auditioning for one of the largest film companies in the world. There was a second when she thought about leaving and not attending the audition.
But she couldn't.
Not after how hard her representative fought to get her an audition, knowing how much Rihannon loved the Marvel universe and her dream of being part of the Marvel family one day.
She couldn't disappoint her representative, neither her grandmother, and much less herself, she had worked very hard to get to where she was, it would just be one more audition, just like the other auditions she had had in the past.
Right?
Ignoring the small mess of nerves building up in her stomach, she took courage and opened the door to enter the large building, she stopped for a second to admire her surroundings, noticing the walls decorated with giant paintings from Marvel movies, several statues of the more iconic characters, she continued admiring until her bluish eyes found the silhouette of a woman sitting behind a desk.
Knowing that it was the receptionist, she grabbed the strap of her backpack and walked quickly towards the woman, feeling her nerves eating away at her for a moment.
Upon being in front of her, the receptionist, sensing a presence, looked away from her computer screen, and looked curiously at the young woman with blonde, curly hair, almost impressed by the deep blue color of her eyes, noticing her shy aura smiled kindly at the young teenager, rihannon returned the smile shyly.
━━Hello sweetie, how can I help you?━━She asked softly, Rihannon opened her mouth and closed it instantly when she felt nervous.
━━I-I, uh… I came for an audition, with Mr. and Mrs. Russo. My name is Rihannon Hart━━She spoke quickly, feeling her cheeks heat at her stutter. But that didn't seem to bother the woman, who just smiled sweetly and nodded.
━━Of course, you're on time. If you allow me, I'll make a call to notify the auditioners━━━At her words, the girl quickly nodded, letting the brown-haired woman do her job.
She stepped back from the desk a little while watching the receptionist pick up the phone and dial a number.
━━Hello, sir? Miss Rihannon Hart has arrived for her audition, should I tell her to wait in the room or…? Great, I'll tell her. See you later sir━━When she hung up, the receptionist smiled at her as she got up from her seat━━Mr. Russo said that you can come and audition now. I'll guide her to the audition room━━She speaks, Rihannon nodded following the woman from behind.
On her short walk to the elevator, Rihannon began to play with the rings that surrounded her fingers in an attempt to distract her nerves. On the one hand she was nervous at the idea of giving a bad impression to the directors and on the other hand she was relieved to Having memorized the entire dialogue of her script, she had been day and night reviewing each word and practicing her lines with her grandmother that she was sure she would do well.
Well, her grandmother and representative were in charge of letting her know that she would do it well.
She was so deep in thought that if it weren't for the kind woman at the reception, she wouldn't realize that they had already reached the door of the audition room.
As soon as she opened the door, Rihannon followed her, from her place she could see the Russo brothers and Kevin Faige himself talking to each other, and she felt the tingling in her stomach reappear.
━━━Gentlemen, Miss Hart has arrived for her audition━━━The receptionist's voice caught the attention of the three men, as Rihannon saw them approach, a small smile formed on her lips.
━━Hello, a pleasure to meet you━━She said with a small smile and stretched out his hand towards them.
Both directors and the executive director smiled instantly, from her place Rihannon could see a small shine in the eyes of the three men in front of them, she avoided furrowing her eyebrows at the emotion in their eyes.
Anthony Russo was the first to shake his hand with hers, sporting a smiling smile.
━━━The pleasure is ours, miss hart. Your agent has told us a lot about you━━He commented almost excitedly when he had her in front of them, Joe and Kevin Feige nodded at his words.
━━I hope for good things━━She spoke in an attempt to joke, which made the three men laugh. Kevin Faige nodded without removing his smile.
“I promise you it was, Miss Hart,” he assured, earning a genuine smile from the girl.
━━Is it okay if we start with the audition? You can take a few minutes if you want━━Rihannon quickly denied before speaking.
━━No, I think I'm fine. But you can call me rihannon, of course if you don't mind━━She said.
━━Of course. I guess, Rihannon, you've already read the script━━Seeing her nod, Anthony Russo smiled with his brother━━Great, we'll guide you to where the test will be done.━━Obeying the directors, Rihannon said goodbye to the receptionist and smiled at the Seeing her murmurs a soft "good luck" with her two thumbs up.
━━So miss hart, your agent, alice. You told us about your latest work in Teen Wolf, right?━━In response to Feige's question, Rihannon smiled and nodded, remembering with adoration her participation in her favorite series.
━━Yes, my participation was short, but I enjoyed the experience━━She responded softly with a smile. Feige and the brothers looked at each other and smiled.
━━One of my daughters loves that series, and I must admit that they adore her character in the series━━Joe commented, making a small shine appear in the young actress's blue eyes.
━━Really? I'm glad that your daughter liked it━━A smile took over her when she knew that one of the director's daughters liked her performance in the series
She did not often hear adulation about her participation in Teen Wolf, given that her character only appeared for three episodes and then did not appear again. She had played a girl who was the daughter of a retired werewolf hunter, who saved Derek Hale of an enemy shooting him with a shotgun and joining the pack for a short time, her colleagues and director of the series had congratulated her for her work, and her skills in the few stunts she had performed at the time.
Her grandmother was the most excited to see her granddaughter in the series, as was her friend Lucy, but no one other than the two of them congratulated her except for a few classmates from her school.
Upon arriving at the testing area, Rihannon allowed herself to admire the place, observing in detail the black walls, the lights that hung from the ceiling and the lamps that surrounded the small recording set, in front of the set there was a camera and three seats , in which she assumed the brothers russo and kevin feige would be sitting.
Seeing the young woman admiring the set, the CEO approached her.
━━You can leave your backpack there, if you want. We'll start in a few minutes━━He pointed to one of the empty chairs not far from where they were, with a small nod, Rihannon thanked him with a small smile and walked away to rest his backpack on the chair.
After a few minutes, Rihannon was in front of the camera - still off - while the makeup artist finished her work before she could perform her audition.
━━Forgive me for saying this, but you look like a badass Barbie━━At the comment of the makeup artist, named Ruth, Rihannon let out a small laugh as she felt the corner of her lips rise upward.
━━Thank you?━━She dubiously acknowledged his compliment with a small smile on her face. When she finished, Ruth said goodbye to her with a small smile and wished her good luck.
━━Are you ready, Rihannon?━━Listening to one of the Russo brothers, Rihannon took a deep breath and then nodded.━━Great, the camera is already on and will start recording in 3…2…1━ ━━Seeing the red light of the camera, the teenager looked forward, feeling her facial expression become serious.
The first dialogue was heard through the voice of Kevin Faige.
And that dialogue would only be the beginning of everything.

You were giving your boyfriend a lap dance on Steve’s couch, and it made the host irrationally happy.
Steve was glad that Sam had someone, especially someone as sweet as you. Damn, you were probably so fucking sweet.
Steve licked his lips as he watched your hips undulate in front of Sam’s face. This was the perfect opportunity to watch you and ogle your body, because everyone was a little tipsy and a little high and doing it too.
It was all in fun, right?
You glanced at Steve upside down as you gyrated on Sam’s lap now, and bent backward all the way over, your braids touching the floor, giving the room a view of your luscious tits.
Yeah. You were perfect. And this night was the highlight since Steve came out of the ice.
You winked at Steve and his face grew red, but he played it off by taking another drink and rubbing his beard while flipping his long hair out of his face.
It worked on countless other women, but you just sat back up and pulled Sam’s face into the valley of your breasts, gasping as he motorboated your clothed breasts and grabbed the glorious globes of your blue-jeaned ass.
People laughed, but Steve’s mood changed; he started plotting dismemberment and where to scatter body parts when Bucky came up to stand beside him and watch.
“Hold it up a little higher, buddy.”
Steve didn’t tear his eyes away from you as he took another drink and replied.
“What the hell are you talking about?”
“That torch you’re carrying. Maybe she’ll see it if you hold it up higher, Lady Liberty.”
Steve just scoffed and drank some more, not denying anything that Bucky had said.
Bucky laughed and went to get another beer, as Steve practically cried in his, his heart silently aching for you.
—-
You and Sam were in Steve’s bedroom, taking advantage of the fact that everyone else was doing body shots in the kitchen.
“F-f-fuckkkkk! Samuel T-t-t-hom… fuck, Samuel Thomas W-w-wilsonnnnn.”
You were grabbing Sam’s ears as he skillfully ate you out, looking down on him between your legs as he sucked and pulled and played with your clit.
“Fucky, Baby… where did you learn to do … goddamn…”
You panted to try and catch your breath as he inserted three fingers inside you and spread them out.
“Holyyyyyy Shhhhhhh!!!!!!!!”
You came like a freight train, your knees clamping down around Sam’s head. Sam’s large hands pried you from around his face and came up for air, a triumphant smirk on his face. He held your legs open and gazed at the pretty dark, wet lips of your cunt and the creamy liquid oozing out between them.
“Learning new techniques every day. Just to keep you satisfied, darlin’,”
Sam shook his head and watched as your pretty pussy lips sheltered your still quivering folds.
“It’s a beautiful view.”
Steve silently agreed from the closet, watching your beautiful cunt shine in the dim light from the street. He had his hand wrapped around his cock, fisting himself brutally at the sights, sounds, and faint smell of you. Steve silently willed Sam to action, wanting to hear how that wet pussy sounded when it was fucked good.
It was just like before the war, when he watched Bucky…
“Hmmmm, Daddy. Give me some. Please? Pretty please. Will you give me some of that thick dick?”
You leaned back, legs still open, looking up at Sam, who was standing now, in front of you.
Your face, fucked out and glowing, looked up at his friend as you licked your lips was everything in the world to Steve Rogers right now.
Steve imagined it was him you were begging, and he didn’t know if he wanted you to suck Sam off or let him fuck you senseless. He just knew that wanted to bust this nut.
“Assume the fucking position then.”
You whimpered, and Steve nearly bust in his hand.
“Yes, Daddy.”
You got on all fours on the bed and that view was even better than before. Oh, how he’d eat that ass, Steve thought.
Sam smacked both cheeks three times, and your moans and sighs alone were enough to make Steve cum. He watched his friend line up his thick dick and swipe it through your folds, and could almost feel your beautiful wetness. Stevehad to bite his lips to hold in his own grunts as Sam slowly, wetly, and solidly sank into you.
“Ohhhhhh… shit….DADDY!!!”
“Fuuuuuccccckkkkkk!”
Sam’s head lolled back on his shoulders as he bottomed out and Steve’s eyes practically rolled back in his head as he witnessed the ecstasy.
Then, Sam looked down and smacked your ass again. Steve watched, rapt, as Sam slowly pulled almost all the way out, then plunged quickly back into your wet goodness. He bet you were so warm. Sam did it again and again and again, faster and faster, and faster. Steve stroked in time as you moaned louder and louder and louder, oblivious to the others at the party.
Steve watched your back arch, and your flesh shake and ripple with every back shot delivered. He was so fucking close.
“Daddy? Daddy? Please Daddy.. I wanna, I wanna….I neeeeeed to…”
“Cum, Darlin’... give it to me. Fuck yeah!”
Sam’s voice was a growl and as you started shaking, Steve’s cum started spilling into his palm and the sock that he was using to contain it.
“Shhsshhhhittttttt….” Steve’s whisper was not silent, but quiet enough that you two wouldn’t hear it over your own noises.
You and Sam collapsed on the bed..
“That was great, Darlin’. You shouldn’t tease me like that in public. ‘S not gonna stop me from giving it to you.”
Sam kissed your nose.
“I am well aware of what that does to a man. Makes it that much better, Daddy.”
Sam laughed, and then moved toward the bathroom.
“We better get outta here, before Steve catches us in his bedroom.”
You looked toward the bathroom and then sat up on the edge of the bed, legs open again.
Steve saw your wrecked pussy, the combination of you and Sam seeping out, and his cock swelled again. He nearly yelled when he saw you playing in it again. It was like you were doing it just for him.
But you stopped when Sam came back out to get dressed.
“I need a little more time to get cleaned up. You go ahead.”
“Ok Darlin,” Sam leaned over and kissed your forehead and you reached for a peck on the lips.
“You made me hungry, took all my energy. I’m going to go eat some food.”
Sam winked and left the room smiling and happy.
When the door closed, you stared straight at the closet.
“Well? Are you going to stay in there and jack off again, or are you going to come out and clean me up?”
You leaned back on your hands, legs wide.
“Now’s your chance Steve. I know you’re in there. Are you going to come out Captain?”
Steve gulped. Then he couldn’t help but comply.
“Fuck…”
Steve emerged from the closet, the tip hard cock glistening and stiff at the opening of his undone pants. He walked toward you and dropped to his knees.
You threaded your hand in his hair, brushing it away from his forehead as he closed his eyes at your touch. You guided his head toward your throbbing cunt.
“You get sloppy seconds, but I bet that’s what you like…”
“Yes ma’am.”
Steve nodded vigorously as his tongue collected the sweetest nectar he’d ever tasted.

Runner, Runner
Warning: NO PLOT, fem receiving, language, MDI
"Fuck," I whimpered gripping the sheets.
"Sam, please I can't take it anymore," I whined, begging him for him to stop. He pushed my back in making me arch my back deeper.
“Shit, you're so tight." He groaned The sound of his voice sent shivers down my back. I could never get enough of this man, but right now I need a break.
"You take me so good, baby." He moaned, thrusting deeper.
I let out a whimper trying to get away from him, "Uh-uh c'mere, and take this dick."
He growled his words slurred as he started moving faster I was panting harder, trying not to come.
I knew he had some built-up stress from the last mission he was on and I was just trying to let him release, but this, this is something different I never tried to run from him before.
He pulled me against his chest and he continued to thrust inside of me.
I let out a loud moan as he rubs my clit, making me jerk under his hand and his cock, hitting my clit at each stroke.
I screamed out my orgasm, gripping his arms for support. My eyes rolled back when a wave of pleasure washed over me.
I felt my legs start to shake uncontrollably, Sam didn't care he held me unsteady his strokes became slopper letting me know he was close to his edge.
“Cum in me,” I moaned.
“Fuck,” he grunted, finally cumming. We collapsed together, both breathing heavy and sweaty.
I could smell him on me. It made me want more.“You ready for round two?” He asked grinning.
He chuckled lowly before pushing up on his elbows staring into my face with lust. “You know that's gonna be a little difficult seeing as we aren't fucking right now.”

Supernova Chronicles #1: Star Girl
{dad's best friend!sam}
summary: Living under your ex-military father's strict rules has always been suffocating, but now that your parents are leaving for a three-month trip, you're finally getting a taste of freedom. However, just as you're ready to embrace it, your father adds a new layer of oversight by arranging for a friend to keep an eye on you. Despite the looming watchfulness, you're determined to prove your independence.
౨ৎ.....................................................౨ৎ...................................................౨ৎ
As you lifted your eyes from the pages of your book, you were surprised to find the night had settled in faster than you anticipated. The sun had long since dipped below the horizon, leaving behind only a gentle, lingering glow that barely touched the corners of your room. Sleep eluded you, knowing that in a short while, you’d see your parents off on their trip, a farewell that weighed lighter with each passing minute.
Seconds ticked away as your thoughts drifted, pondering what freedom might feel like if not for the constant, looming presence of your ex-military father, whose shadow seemed to shape your every move. You knew he meant well, that his strict rules and watchful eyes came from a place of love, but it often felt suffocating.
He wasn’t just a father; he was a guardian, a sentinel who saw the world as a place filled with threats rather than opportunities. His experiences had made him cautious, and that caution had seeped into your life, shaping your choices, your actions, and even your thoughts. Yet, all of that would soon come to a pause when you wished them good luck on their three-month trip, a temporary release from the constant watchfulness that had defined your existence.
For the first time in what felt like forever, the prospect of having the house to yourself stirred something unfamiliar—a mix of excitement and anxiety. The absence of your father’s ever-present gaze would grant you a freedom you hadn’t known in years. But with that freedom came uncertainty. Without his steady hand guiding every move, you would finally be able to explore life on your own terms.
There were so many possibilities, so many things you had pushed aside out of respect for his boundaries. You could stay out late without a curfew, invite friends over without worrying about his disapproving look, or even take a spontaneous trip without needing to provide a detailed itinerary. But along with the excitement was the nagging fear of stepping too far, of what might happen without his protection.
Your father’s voice boomed through the room, "Young lady," The weight of his tone instantly commanded your attention, as it always did. You turned to face him, bracing yourself for whatever lecture or piece of advice he was about to deliver. His expression was stern, his eyes searching yours as if he could read every thought and feeling you were trying to hide.
You went to nod before your mother stepped out from behind him, her expression softer and filled with understanding. "Give her a break, Maliki. She's 21," she said, her tone gentle yet firm.
Her words brought a momentary relief, a small smile tugging at the corners of your lips as the tension in the room eased slightly. Your father's eyes flicked to her, his brows furrowed in that familiar way he always did when he was caught between his protective instincts and the reality that you were no longer a child. "I know," he replied, his voice carrying the weight of a man who had seen too much in his life to ever take safety lightly. "But she's still our daughter, and it’s my job to make sure she’s safe, even when we’re not here." There was a pause, his gaze locking onto yours as if silently pleading for your understanding.
Your mother stepped closer, placing a gentle hand on his arm, her touch doing what words couldn’t—calming the tension that had built in the room. "Maliki," she said softly, her voice a soothing balm to his worries. "She’s responsible. We’ve raised her well. Let her have some space to prove it."
He sighed deeply, the sound heavy with a mixture of concern and resignation. The years of military service had made him see the world through a lens of potential threats, and letting go—even just a little—was no small task for him. He turned back to you, his expression softening as he looked into your eyes, the same eyes he had watched grow from a curious child to a determined young woman.
"Alright," he conceded, though his voice still carried that underlying edge of caution. "But you know the rules, and I expect you to follow them."
"I will," you promised, your voice steady as you tried to reassure him. The tension in your chest eased slightly, thanks to your mother’s gentle intervention. Your father turned to retrieve their bags, the sound of his footsteps momentarily filling the room with a sense of finality.
Your mother smiled warmly at you, her eyes reflecting a deep understanding of what this moment meant. It was a look that spoke volumes—a mix of pride in the person you had become, trust in your ability to handle things on your own, and an unspoken acknowledgment that this was your time to step into your independence. "Have a little fun while we’re gone, okay? But not too much," she added with a playful wink, her attempt to lighten the mood bringing a soft chuckle from you.
Her words were a gentle reminder that while your father’s rules still applied, there was room for you to breathe, explore, and to enjoy the space they were leaving behind.
"One more thing," your father announced, marching back into the room with his usual determined stride. You sighed deeply, the sound heavy with a mix of exasperation and resignation. If it weren’t for your mother, this place would be run like a military camp, every minute accounted for, every action scrutinized.
He paused, clearly preparing to deliver another one of his directives. "I have a friend who's moving into town while we're gone. I asked him to keep an eye on you for me."
You felt your heart sink a little at the thought. Just when you had started to embrace the idea of freedom, another layer of oversight was being added. It was classic Dad—always thinking two steps ahead, always making sure you were protected, even if it meant infringing on your newfound independence.
Your mother, ever the mediator, shot him a look that spoke volumes, but he remained steadfast. His concern for your safety outweighed any notions of giving you space. As much as you appreciated his intentions, the idea of someone else watching over you in his absence felt like a tether, holding you back just when you were ready to spread your wings.
You and your mother exchanged glances, both of you struggling to hide your disbelief. You wanted to protest, to argue that you were capable of managing things on your own, but you knew better than to invite an hour-long lecture. So, instead, you took a deep breath and nodded.
"I am an adult, Dad," you said with as much sincerity as you could muster. "But thanks for looking out for me. I promise all the rules will be followed."
Your father's expression softened a bit at your words, though the concern in his eyes didn’t entirely fade. He gave a nod of approval, seemingly satisfied with your response. Your mother’s smile was both understanding and relieved, her eyes conveying a silent message of support.
With one last look around the room, your father finally turned to finish preparing for their departure. You felt a mix of frustration and acceptance, knowing that while you might have a bit more freedom, your father’s protective instincts would always be a part of your life.
With the little freedom you did have before the mystery friend showed up, you decided that spending the night at an old fling's house was smart. Except… as the night wore on, you realized that old sparks didn’t always reignite the way you expected. What once felt exciting now seemed dull, the connection that had once drawn you to them fading into something that felt almost forced.
The conversation lagged, the laughter felt hollow, and the thrill you’d anticipated was replaced with a creeping sense of discomfort. That led you to a bar within walking distance of the college you attended. It was a place where you had spent many nights before—familiar enough to feel comfortable but far enough from home to let you forget about the lingering weight of your father’s rules. As you pushed through the doors and into the dimly lit room, the hum of conversation and the clink of glasses provided the backdrop you needed to clear your head. Here, among strangers and old acquaintances, you could lose yourself in the anonymity of the crowd.
You settled by the bar, knowing the bartender, Danny. You called out to him, and as you did, you noticed his eyes already scanning you, a familiar gleam in them. "Is that my baby?" he teased, his voice warm and inviting, the grin on his face growing wider.
It was the kind of greeting that brought an instant smile to your face, easing the lingering discomfort from earlier in the night. You felt a sense of comfort in his playful tone, the familiarity of it all a welcome change from the awkwardness you had just left behind.
"Only if you’ve got something strong for me," you replied, your voice carrying the same playful edge.
He chuckled, already reaching for a glass. "For you? Always." With that, he poured you a shot, the amber liquid catching the low light as it filled the glass. He slid it across the bar towards you with a wink. "On me tonight," he added, his tone softening with a touch of familiarity.
Your eyes lingered on the drink for a moment, watching the way the light played off its surface, shifting colors as it danced through the glass, casting an orange glow. You wrapped your fingers around the cool glass, bringing it to your lips with a sense of anticipation.
As you downed the shot, the burn of the alcohol was immediate, but it quickly gave way to a spreading warmth that settled deep within you.
Danny smiled deeply at you before returning to some people who shouted orders at him. But even during the chaos, he didn’t forget about you. Without a second thought, Danny placed two glasses in front of you—a small routine he’d developed over the years. One glass held another mystery alcohol, something he knew would be strong but smooth, and the other was filled with water, a silent reminder to pace yourself.
You took both glasses in hand, the coolness of the water a sharp contrast to the warmth still lingering from the first shot. With a nod of thanks, you left the bar and headed upstairs to your usual table on the second floor, a quiet spot tucked away from the busier parts of the bar.
Yet, as you approached your usual table, you found it already occupied. Sitting there was a man who seemed to draw every eye in the room.
He had a striking presence that commanded attention effortlessly. Tall and broad-shouldered, he exuded a confidence that was both relaxed and commanding. His skin was a deep, warm brown that seemed to glow under the bar’s ambient lighting, and his well-defined features were framed by a neatly trimmed beard that added a touch of rugged charm.
His eyes were captivating—dark, expressive, and framed by thick lashes that only intensified their depth. They held a warmth and intensity that suggested both kindness and a hint of mischief. He wore a simple yet stylish outfit: a well-fitted shirt that accentuated his muscular frame, with sleeves rolled up to reveal strong, toned arms. His casual, yet impeccably put-together appearance spoke of someone who was effortlessly stylish, with an air of sophistication that suggested he knew exactly how to balance charm and grace.
As he leaned back in the chair, his posture was relaxed but confident, and every movement he made seemed deliberate, adding to his aura of effortless cool. It was the kind of presence that made heads turn and hearts flutter, the kind of charisma that made any woman, or anyone, for that matter, fall for him almost instantly. And despite not even hearing this man speak, you were falling.
"Excuse me, you're in my booth." The words came out with a boldness that surprised even you. Normally, if your spot was taken, you would have found somewhere else to enjoy your drink and listen to the live music. But tonight was different. Something in you stirred, pushing you to assert yourself in a way you usually wouldn’t.
The man looked up, his gaze meeting yours with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. He didn’t seem fazed by your direct approach—instead, a hint of a smile played at the corners of his mouth, as if he found your boldness refreshing. He straightened in his chair, his posture now more attentive, and his eyes sparkled with interest.
"I’m sorry about that," he said, his voice smooth and reassuring, with just a touch of charm. "I didn’t realize we had assigned seating in the bar."
The playful glint in his eyes suggested he was enjoying the exchange. His smile remained, warm and inviting, as if he were genuinely intrigued by your assertiveness. You noticed the way his smile seemed to light up the space around him, making it hard to stay annoyed. Despite the initial irritation of having your usual spot taken, you found yourself drawn to his easy confidence and charm.
"No, but it’s my usual spot," You continued, trying to maintain a balance between firmness and the hint of humor in your voice. "I guess I just get a little territorial over it."
He chuckled softly, the sound smooth and easy on the ears. "I see. Well, if it’s that important to you, princess, I’m happy to move." Yet, he didn’t budge. Instead, he picked up his drink, taking a casual sip while holding your gaze.
You found yourself swimming in the depths of his eyes, losing track of everything else around you. There was a magnetic quality to his stare, a captivating intensity that made it hard to look away. The playful challenge in his expression seemed to dare you to continue, making the air between you feel charged with unspoken possibilities.
You met his gaze with a raised eyebrow, trying to maintain your composure despite the flutter of excitement in your chest. The question hung in the air, a playful invitation wrapped in charm.
“Well, considering you seem to be quite comfortable,” you replied, a touch of amusement in your voice, “I guess I’ll have to find another spot.” You started to turn, but his voice stopped you.
“Why don’t you join me?” he offered, his tone a bit darker despite the earlier banter.
The subtle shift in his voice didn't scare you away. Instead, it drew you closer, adding an intriguing layer to the conversation. The seriousness of his offer contrasted with the playful edge, making the invitation feel more intimate. You settle into the booth - just across from him.
"How long have you been in college?"
The question took you by surprise. It was an unexpected shift from the lighthearted banter you’d been engaged in. You blinked, momentarily caught off guard, trying to gauge the intent behind the seemingly simple question.
You quickly recovered, a hint of amusement dancing in your eyes. “A couple of years,” you replied, your tone casual but with a trace of curiosity. “How did you know I was in college?”
His gaze remained steady, as if he were genuinely interested in your answer, adding a new layer to the encounter. "You have a full glass of alcohol in your hand. The college is quite literally walking distance from the bar. Plus, you just have that look." You were used to being read. Your father did it effortlessly, and you often found it intrusive and irritating. But when this man did it, you found it surprisingly attractive. Something was compelling about the way he observed you, his insight was delivered with a mix of curiosity and charm that felt both flattering and intriguing.
A smile tugged at your lips as you leaned in slightly, your interest piqued. “And what kind of look is that?” you asked, your voice laced with playful challenge. The attraction you felt was undeniable, and you found yourself wanting to dive deeper into this unexpected connection.
"What are you studying in college?" He ignored you, but the way he spoke, with that mix of confidence and insight, made the atmosphere between you both feel electric. His words, though perceptive, were wrapped in a charm. You took a sip from your glass, savoring the warmth of the alcohol as you considered his observation. “Psychology. Minor in astrology,” You admitted your voice soft. His eyes never left yours, and there was something in his gaze that made you feel seen in a way you rarely experienced.
"Oh, a stargirl. What, you're going to read my palm? Tell me that my sun's in retrograde, and I'm going to experience something devasting next week?" He was playing with you. That teasing grin plastered on his face told you everything. You played along,
"You wish," you replied with a smirk, leaning in slightly. "But no, I’m more interested in the why behind it all. Like why you think your not-so-subtle charm works, Mr…" His teasing grin faltered for a moment, caught off guard by your directness. You could see him recalculating, trying to figure out whether you were playing the same game or a different one entirely.
"Call me Sam."
"Sam." You repeated. "Nice to meet you." You let his name linger on your lips, testing the waters. The way he watched you, eyes narrowing slightly, told you he was still trying to get a read on you. "Well, now that we’re on a first-name basis, care to enlighten me on why you think my charm isn’t working?" he asked, leaning in closer, his tone playful but with a hint of genuine curiosity.
You tilted your head, considering him for a moment before responding. "It's not that it isn’t working. It’s just that it’s a little too practiced. Like you’ve used it one too many times and are still waiting for someone to catch on."
His smile grew, but there was something different behind it now—an acknowledgment that you weren’t just another easy mark. "Maybe you’re right," he conceded, his voice dropping lower. "But maybe I’m not the only one with a practiced game."
You raised an eyebrow, a small smile playing at your lips as Sam slipped closer to you in the booth. The sudden closeness sent a jolt of awareness through you, the space between you shrinking until you could feel the warmth of his presence. His arm brushed against yours, a deliberate move, but his gaze remained steady on yours, searching, perhaps, for a reaction.
“You know,” he murmured, his voice low and inviting, “it’s not often I meet someone who can see through the act.”
You felt the pull of his words, the way he was trying to draw you in, but you weren’t about to let him take control so easily. “Maybe it’s because I’ve seen it all before,” you replied, your tone casual, though your heart was pounding. “Or maybe it’s just that I’m not as easily swayed as you think.”
The band downstairs began to play a tamer version of "Lost in The Fire" by The Weeknd, the sensual beats weaving through the air, amplifying the tension between you and Sam. He leaned in even closer, his voice barely cutting through the music. “Seems like the universe is giving us a moment,” he teased, his lips dangerously close to your ear. You could feel the heat of his breath, the intimacy of the moment making your pulse quicken.
You turned your head slightly, just enough to meet his gaze, which had grown darker, more intense under the dim lights. “Is that what you think this is?” you asked, your tone playful but edged with challenge.
“Maybe,” he said, his eyes flicking down to your lips before meeting your gaze again. “Or maybe it’s just a lucky coincidence. Either way, I’m not going to waste it.”
The brief touch of his lips sent a shiver down your spine, and before you could fully process the moment, he closed the distance completely, pressing his lips to yours in a kiss that was both soft and deliberate. The world around you seemed to blur, the music, the crowd, everything fading into the background as the warmth of his kiss anchored you to the moment. For a second, you hesitated, feeling the intensity of the connection, the electricity between you both undeniable. But then you found yourself responding, your hand instinctively reaching up to touch his jaw, feeling the slight roughness of stubble beneath your fingertips.
The kiss was his, yours—a perfect blend of give and take, like a dance where neither led nor followed, but both moved in sync. It wasn’t just about the physical connection; there was something deeper, an unspoken understanding that neither of you had expected but couldn’t ignore. You weren’t new to this. Kissing strangers in a bar whenever the mood struck was something you could handle—a momentary escape, a way to feel something real in the midst of a night out. But this time, it felt different. There was something in the way Sam kissed you, something more than just a fleeting connection. It lingered, like a spark that refused to die out.
The desire for more surged through you, overpowering the usual restraint you held onto in these moments. You bit his lip, a teasing nip that conveyed your need without words. It was a bold move, one that signaled you were no longer just playing along—you were in control, too.
His response was immediate. A low groan escaped him, and you felt the shift in his demeanor as his hand slipped up your leg, fingers tracing a path that left a trail of heat in its wake. The closeness between you intensified, the air around you thick with tension as the line between want and need blurred.
You were teetering on the edge, knowing that you were pushing boundaries, both yours and his. The thrill of it all, the way he responded to your every move, made you crave more. It wasn’t just about the kiss anymore; it was about the power, the connection, the undeniable chemistry that was sparking between you two.
He pulled away just enough to shift your position, lifting you effortlessly onto his lap. The movement was fluid, controlled, and he held you there with a firm grip, his eyes searching yours for any hesitation. For a brief second, he paused, giving you the space to decide, to back out if you wanted to. But who were you to do so? The thrill of the moment, the intensity of the connection—it was all too intoxicating to resist. You could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath your palm as you steadied yourself on his chest, your legs now straddling his.
His hands settled on your hips, holding you close, but still allowing you the freedom to move, to take control if you wanted. The music, the dim lights, the distant hum of the crowd—all of it faded into the background as the space between you vanished once again.
His hand traveled farther up your thigh, reaching the edge of your lacey underwear. The touch was tentative at first, his fingers brushing lightly against the delicate fabric. You could feel the heat of his touch through the lace, a mix of anticipation and excitement building between you both.
His eyes remained locked on yours, seeking any hint of reluctance, but all he saw was the undeniable intensity between you. Your question, murmured against his lips, was met with a dark, hungry look.
“Nervous? I can stop if you don’t think you can handle it?” you asked, your voice teasing and breathless.
He responded by pulling you down harder onto him, the pressure of his hard on unmistakable against you. You could feel the heat and firmness through the fabric of his jeans, his desire pressing firmly into you. The action was assertive, a clear statement of just how much he wanted you.
His grip on your hips tightened, his gaze intense as he sought your reaction. “Handle it?” he growled softly, his voice a mix of raw desire and playful challenge. “I’m just getting started."
Finally, his pulls your underwear to the side, and ran his thick, long fingers against your pussy. You let out a soft gasp as his fingers did wanders. He bit at your neck as you moaned. His thumb stroked your clit gently, and he smirked when he heard you suck in a sharp intake of breath, the sensation making you arch against his hand. "Tell me how much you want it, my stargirl?" He purred, his voice rough. He pressed his hand forward, rubbing against your center, slowly increasing the pace and pressure, his other hand moving higher, stroking over your breasts while his mouth trailed kisses along your neck and down your jawline to your shoulder.
A deep groan tore from your throat as you bucked against his hand, the sensations overwhelming you. The pleasure was intense, a wave of heat and desire crashing over you, making it hard to focus on anything else. You could only hope that the music blaring around you would drown out the sounds of your moans, as you lost yourself in the moment.
His hand pressed against you with increasing firmness, each touch igniting a new wave of pleasure that had you gasping for breath. The crowd and the music faded into a distant background as you focused solely on the connection between you, your body responding instinctively to every movement he made.
The intensity of the moment was undeniable, the pleasure building with every second, leaving you both caught in a heady mix of desire and anticipation. Sam knew exactly how to touch you, his touches always light, almost hesitant.
His hand now underneath your shirt and letting his rough fingers pull and rub on your nipple. As soon as the sensation became too much, you arched your back towards him, desperate for release, wanting his touch to be the only thing keeping you grounded as you struggled to hold on. He continued to tease you. His words floated through your head, charged with a mix of command and promise. “Don’t you come, or I’ll bend you over the table and let the world see how beautiful you look when you moan.”
The intensity of his voice, combined with the forbidden edge of his words, only heightened the pleasure you were already experiencing. The image he painted was both thrilling and provocative, pushing you to the brink of control. Your body trembled in the need to comply with this stranger's demand. You could feel him, feel yourself pulsating beneath his hand as his finger played around the tip of your swollen clit. The sensations were indescribable, sending your mind flying as you tried desperately to stay afloat on the waves of sensation crashing around you. His fingers worked quickly, his motions slow and calculated.
“Sam,” you whined, your voice a mixture of desperation and desire. The sound was almost a plea, a soft, urgent call. He responded with a low, approving growl, his hand continuing its relentless exploration. “That’s it,” he murmured, his voice laced with satisfaction. “Let me hear you, Stargirl."
You whimpered, the sound vibrating in your throat as his lips pressed harshly against the spot below your ear, his teeth grazing ever so slightly across the sensitive flesh. The combination of his touch and his rough, seductive whisper made your breath hitch.
“Come,” he murmured, his voice rough and commanding, “Come on, Baby Girl. Tell me what you want.” The raw intensity of his voice was a seduction all on its own, fueling the fire within you. Your pleas came out in a breathless rush. “I want it. I want it so bad. Please.”
You were pleading with the devil himself, caught in the overwhelming blend of desire and desperation, the need for his touch and his dominance consuming you completely. Your arms wrapped tightly around his neck, the touch burning through the thin fabric of his shirt, making him shudder slightly as you gripped him. He could feel your nails digging into his scalp, scratching at the strands of his hair before dragging them down his neck. He shuddered again as his fingers moved faster, circling your clit in small circles. Each one drove you closer to the edge, until there was no turning back. No running from this. There was no going back after this, only forward.
As the orgasm took over, your cries echoed throughout the room, punctuated by gasps and moans that grew louder with every passing second. The intensity of the moment left you breathless, your body struggling to contain the overwhelming surge of pleasure building inside you. Each muscle felt strained, pushed beyond its limits, as every thrust drove you closer to the edge.
The sounds you made, the way he looked at you, and the intensity of his touch all combined to fuel the fire between you. The passion and energy surged, driving both of you to the brink, as you fought to get even closer, to experience the connection at its fullest.
With every movement and every word spoken in your favor, the climax approached with a force that left you completely vulnerable, the moment consuming you entirely as you both reached for that ultimate release. As the climax surged through you, it felt like an explosion of sensation, every fiber of your being caught in the throes of ecstasy. Your cries grew more frantic, each sound a testament to the intensity of the moment. The room seemed to spin around you, the music and the crowd becoming distant echoes as you were consumed by the overwhelming pleasure.
His movements were relentless, perfectly in tune with your responses, pushing you to the absolute edge. Every thrust, every touch was precise, maximizing the pleasure that you were both experiencing. His eyes never left yours, filled with a fierce, possessive intensity that only heightened the sensation.
The energy between you was electric, a tangible force that seemed to build with each passing second. You could feel the sweat on your skin, the heat of his body against yours, and the rhythm of your combined breaths creating a symphony of desire.
As the final wave of orgasm washed over you, it was as if time stood still. Your body tensed and shuddered uncontrollably, every muscle locked in a state of heightened pleasure. You were utterly lost in the moment, every sensation amplified, every sound magnified.
Finally, as the climax began to ebb, you both slowly came back to yourselves, the immediate rush of pleasure giving way to a lingering sense of satisfaction. The intensity of the connection between you remained, a testament to the shared experience and the power of the moment. He gently eased his hold on you, his touch becoming tender and reassuring as he helped you settle.
"Your charm is working wonders." You whispered to him
His eyes sparkled with a mix of satisfaction and amusement as he looked at you. You could see the effect your words had on him, the way his smile widened at your playful gratitude. He brushed his thumb over your lip before leaning in close to your face, pressing his mouth to yours in a passionate kiss. "It really does."

The next morning, as the first rays of sunlight filtered through the window, you lay in bed, reflecting on the night you had just shared. The warmth of Sam’s touch and the intensity of your connection replayed in your mind, vivid and electrifying. You could still feel the lingering traces of pleasure, a reminder of the unforgettable experience that had left an indelible mark on you.
But as you thought back on the night, a pang of regret tugged at your heart. The abruptness of your departure weighed heavily on your mind, leaving you unsettled. You had wanted to leave with him, to linger in the warmth of the connection you had forged. But as he turned to pay the tab, a sudden wave of uncertainty had washed over you.
In that fleeting moment, doubt had crept in. The intensity of what you had shared felt almost too real, too overwhelming, and the vulnerability that came with it scared you. So, instead of waiting for him, instead of letting yourself be drawn back into his orbit, you slipped quietly through the bar door, leaving before he had a chance to turn around. Not to mention, your father's call.
Now, in the light of morning, you couldn’t shake the feeling that you had made a mistake. You had let the moment slip away, leaving behind something that had felt meaningful, something that had the potential to be more than just a fleeting encounter.
You wondered what Sam had thought when he turned around and found you gone, and whether he had felt the same connection you did. The regret gnawed at you, but so did the uncertainty of what might have happened if you had stayed.
As you lay there, the room quiet and still, you couldn’t help but replay the scene in your head. You remembered the way Sam had looked at you, the way he had responded to your every touch and whisper. The memory was tinged with a bittersweet edge now, the sudden end to such a profound connection leaving you with mixed emotions.
The departure had been sudden and unceremonious, and you found yourself wishing you had been able to give the night—and Sam—the closure they deserved. You thought about how you might reach out to him, how you might explain the abrupt end and express your gratitude for the night you had shared. Yet, your little Cinderella act left with you nothing.
You decided, then, that you couldn't waste your three months of freedom of fantasizing over what ifs with a guy the same age as your father. It would never happen, and besides, you knew nothing about him. He was just some guy in the bar with really nice hands.
The doorbell rang, pulling you from your thoughts. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion as you sat up in bed, wondering who could be at the door so early. The bell kept ringing, persistent and insistent, refusing to be ignored. After another few moments, you gave in, sighing as you pushed off the covers and swung your legs over the side of the mattress.
As you made your way downstairs, you passed through the kitchen, absently pushing some dishes into the sink, just in case your father had returned. The house was quiet, the early morning light casting soft shadows across the floor. You couldn’t shake the strange mix of anticipation and anxiety that had settled in your chest, a nagging feeling that something unexpected was about to happen.
Reaching the door, you paused for a moment, taking a deep breath before opening it. The thought of who might be on the other side lingered in your mind, a blend of curiosity and trepidation swirling together.
With a quick twist of the knob, you pulled the door open, and the breath caught in your throat. There he was. Sam.
He stood on the doorstep, phone pressed to his ear, but his eyes were fixed on you, an unreadable expression on his face. For a moment, neither of you moved, the tension from the night before lingering in the air between you. The surprise of seeing him here, of all places, left you momentarily speechless.
His gaze didn’t waver, and though he was speaking softly into the phone, his attention was entirely on you. There was a mixture of emotions in his eyes—curiosity, maybe even a hint of something deeper, something unresolved from the night before.
He said something quickly into the phone, his voice low and calm, "Yeah, she came to the door."
You cocked your head to the side slightly, confusion and curiosity mixing in your expression. The way he spoke, so assured and composed, contrasted with the flurry of emotions you were feeling. His words hung in the air, leaving you to wonder who he had been talking to and why he was here.
"Sure thing, Maliki," he said, putting extra emphasis on your father's name. The realization hit you like a jolt—this wasn’t just a chance encounter. This was the man your father had sent to watch over you.
Your eyes widened slightly as the pieces fell into place. The sudden phone call last night, the urgency in your father’s voice, and now Sam standing here on your doorstep, all made sense. The night you had shared, the connection that felt so real, now had an entirely different context. He wasn’t just some guy you met at the bar—he was here because your father had sent him.
"Don't worry," Sam stated, his tone darker and more intense than anything you had heard from him the night before. The shift in his voice sent a shiver down your spine, and your heart fluttered with a mix of fear and curiosity, wondering what he truly meant.
"I'll make sure she never leaves the house," he continued, his words lingering in the air, heavy with implications.
Your pulse quickened, a knot of anxiety forming in your chest as you tried to decipher his intent. The man who had been charming and playful just hours ago now seemed to harbor a side you hadn’t anticipated—a side that was far more serious, possibly even dangerous.

Off The Market
Chris Evans x Black Wife!Reader
WARNINGS: tipsy!Chris, mild fluff, flirting, nosy tv interviewer, very mild nudity
AUTHOR’s NOTE: An oldie from my old page, edited and brought over here. Also regardless if my fic has no smut or dark mentions, all of my work is still 18+. This isn’t apart of the Chris x Wife series I was thinking about. Just a stand alone one-shot.
BETA’d: @titty-teetee
Chris Evans was standing dressed in his best on the red carpet for the premiere of the final Avengers movie, rightfully titled, Avengers: Endgame. Tonight was going to be a little bittersweet, as this would be the last time that all six original members of the Avengers would walk the red carpet together. It was finally time for the torch, or in his case, Captain’s shield, to be passed on.
This was also Chris’ very first red carpet appearance since the two of you tied the knot a little over a couple of months ago.
Of course news had been buzzing for weeks about your very secret nuptials. People were questioning if it happened or if it didn’t happen. Paparazzi scrambled for days outside of your home in Los Angeles, trying to get a small glimpse to see if the two of you were wearing your rings. But they’d come up with nothing. Especially, since the two of you had fully relocated to his hometown in Boston.
But your wedding definitely happened, and it was definitely a secret. Your wedding was so secret, in fact, that your small group of guests, who thought they were arriving to celebrate your engagement, got the surprise of a lifetime when you showed up in your beautiful wedding dress, while you and Chris exchanged vows moments later.
Both yourself and Chris, much like most of your relationship and engagement, wanted to keep this to yourselves for a while. You just wanted to enjoy being husband and wife before the press found out and started hounding you with future plans of starting a family, which of course, you and Chris were definitely excited to be practicing. Especially the horndog that was your husband.
The two of you had a date set for when you were going to announce that you had gotten hitched, but that didn’t stop the vultures from their prying.
Chris, who smiled coyly at the flashing photographers, gave a small wave and a curt nod. He was nervous, and his anxiety was on a high level, which he tried to calm with shots of whiskey earlier with his co-stars, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo. But with every scream of the paparazzi and the surrounding fans, his nerves seemed to grow a little bit more intense.
Chris continued to make his way down the carpet, saying his hellos to his other fellow cast mates, while sharing jokes with his buddies, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Luckily, most of the interviewers kept things professional in their questioning, only asking about the film and his future projects. Even asking him to give shout outs to other countries.
His last stop on the interview trail was with Nancy O’Dell from Entertainment Tonight. Now Chris has known Nancy for quite some time, as she’s interviewed him plenty of times in the past, but he also knew she was never too shy to get personal with him. And that scared the living hell out of him.
“Here we have Chris Evans, ladies and gentlemen,” the beautiful, older blonde celebrity anchor announced as Chris stepped up to his spot next to her. They quickly exchanged a casual hug. “How are you feeling tonight? You look amazing.”
Chris cleared his throat, nervously running a hand across his tie. “Thank you. I’m feeling pretty good. How are you?”
“I’m great, thank you.” She smiled, leaning into him. She was also a little too clingy with him at times, you’ve clearly noticed. But that was usually when you weren’t on his arm. Like tonight. “So, Chris, this is it. Final Avengers movie for you all. How did it feel to put that Cap suit back on for the last time?”
“A little tight.” Chris joked, causing Nancy to giggle softly. “No, it was amazing. Being on set with some of my best friends made for such a fun, great experience— a little bittersweet though since it’s the last time a lot of us will be in the same room with each other. But I feel we all did it justice. 10 years is a long time to be doing this, and I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished in the end.”
“I can definitely see lots of emotions running high with everyone. Especially on this night.” Nancy stated, and Chris nodded in agreement. “Aside from the movie premiere here tonight, I really have to ask: Where is your better half? I’m surprised she’s not here with you tonight.”
Chris chuckled softly, again, running a hand down his tie. “You know, she really wanted to be here, but her schedule is just as crazy as mine. If not more, but, she’s definitely here with me in Spirit.” He gave the nosy news anchor a smile.
Well, wherever she is, we are sending her the best.” Nancy replied, reaching out to throw an arm around Chris’ shoulder. “And speaking of your better half, I feel like there are just a few things we need to get cleared up. Maybe some of those rumors you want to address?”
This time Chris let out a nervous chuckle. He knew exactly where this was headed. “That depends on what rumors you are referring to?”
“Well,” Nancy paused for dramatic effect, “is Chris Evans officially off the market?”
Yep, she went there.
“Oh,” Chris immediately jerked his head back, as he finally started to feel that whiskey warming his system. “Oh,” he repeated over and over.
“I mean, is it true?” Nancy questioned him, desperately trying to see if she could get a glimpse of the wedding ring on his left hand. Of course, it wasn’t there. You made sure of that.
“We’re not doing that.” Chris shook a finger at her, laughing.
“Why not? I know everybody at home,” Nancy pointed to the camera, “would love to know if our favorite superhero, here, finally got his happy ending.”
“Sh,” Chris shushed her, leaning to stroke her microphone. “Sh, sh, shhh.”
“He’s petting my mic.” Nancy, again, turned to the camera, giggling. She knew that she wasn’t going to get her way tonight. “So, is this your way of leaving this one alone?”
Chris looked back up at her and gave a nonchalant shrug. “I mean, you will know when it happens. But we both are happy where we are right now.”
“And that’s all that matters?” Nancy questioned, and Chris just nodded, stuffing his hands back in the pocket of his pants. “Well, we appreciate the honesty, Chris. Good luck tonight.”
“Thank you.” Chris smiled, giving her one last hug and walking away.
The moment Chris was out of the way of the paparazzi, he immediately pulled out his phone from his pocket and sent you a quick text.
dodged that bullet
His phone buzzed only seconds later with your response.
Wifey: I’m guessing you got asked & it was by Nancy wasn’t it?
yep & yep
Wifey: well it’s a good thing I have your ring with me
Chris smiled to himself, adamantly typing on his phone.
Yeah I’m going to need that back
Wifey: you’ll get it back soon
you’ll just have to take it off of me first
Chris’ phone buzzed a third time. But it wasn’t a typed response like he’d been expecting. It was a picture of you. You were currently wearing his platinum, engraved wedding ring on a necklace, secured safely around your neck, dressed in a white lace push-up bra. The barely there material stood out amongst the softness of your gorgeous brown skin.
Chris sucked in a deep breath, staring down at the image in front of him. Goddamn it, he missed the fuck out of you. He quickly started typing again.
Mrs. Evans you’re driving me fucking crazy here
Wifey: well Mr. Evans my husband just abandoned me
what’s a girl to do by herself in this big, empty house
Before Chris started typing again, the three dotted bubble —as if you were still typing— appeared on his screen. Within seconds, another photo of you showed up. This time it was a matching lace thong you were wearing.
Fuck this premiere
I’m getting on a plane
And coming home right now.
Wifey: I’ll be waiting
Chris sighed heavily, stuffing the phone back in his pocket, and immediately tried to find the nearest exit. He needed to get home to you. And he needed to get home now.

Love lesson #1: Meeting your potential soul mate can come from anywhere. You don’t really know. Whether it’s a chance meeting, a prearranged date or fate hitting you in the face. All you know is that it always comes from the place you least expect it. Always keep your eyes open.
Being an assistant is never a glamorous job. But it is the stepping stone to get to any producer, anchor or executive job. Everyone starts at the bottom. Including you. You are an assistant on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Fate had gotten you the call for an internship a couple of years ago. Destiny placed you in the way of your future and hard work had gotten you to be one of the show’s assistants. You rarely got star struck anymore but every once in a while, it did come. You are human after all.
Tonight, it was your job to have all of the guests comfortable before the taping. And you knew it would be a more difficult night as the men of Marvel were on the docket for the week. Monday, it had been Robert Downey Jr., who had to be one of the nicest humans you had ever met. Tuesday it had been Mark Ruffalo and Paul Rudd, who were complete sweethearts. Wednesday brought Chris Helmsworth, Paul Bethany and Benedict Cumberbatch, or the international contingent as you had called them. Thursday was Anthony Mackie and Tom Holland, which went as well as you thought.
But now it was Friday, and it was the final night of the week. You had a list of things that you needed to bring to the first guest room. You knocked but didn’t hear anything. You knocked again and thought you heard a muffled acknowledgement You entered. “Hello Mr. Stan! I have…oh I’m so sorry!” You had interrupted an intimate moment between him and a blonde.
“Oh, god, sorry, I thought you were Evans.” The man grabbed his handkerchief from his pocket to wipe away the lipstick on his mouth.
“I’m so sorry. I was just bringing in the Evian that was requested.” You dropped the bottles of water into the fridge and headed back to the door. “Please let me know if you need anything else.” You spun around, your HC ponytail swinging around.
“I don’t have your name to call you.” Sebastian smiled in your direction as the blonde scowled. He took you in and absorbed the natural beauty you had in a simple white button down and black slacks. You had minimal makeup on, highlighting just your eyes. You were a stark contrast to the blonde next to him and it was a breath of fresh air.
“It’s YN, Mr. Stan.”
“YN, thank you for the waters. But please call me Sebastian. This is Alejandra, my girlfriend.” He pointed to the blonde, who gave you a pointed look. The look of fuck off and leave me and my man alone. Sebastian missed it, still captivated by you. “I don’t think you were here last time I was on the show.”
“No, I started about two years ago. I think you were here right before I joined.” You looked down. “Well, it’s nice to meet you both. If you’ll excuse me.” You head on out and let out a long breath.
“Cariño, why are you staring at the door?”
“No reason. She was nice.” Alejandra rolled her eyes. “What Ale?”
“Nothing Sebastian.” She went back to kissing his neck. He shrugged her off. “I don’t want to get lipstick on my collar.” In reality, he wanted to go after you, find out more about you. You were an enigma that he wanted to puzzle out. YN, the name of a mystery.
You headed to the other dressing room and knocked, waiting this time until you heard, “Come in.”
“Hi Chris,” you greeted. You had met Chris a couple of time, so you were way more comfortable with him.
“Hey YN!” He came over to give you a kiss on the cheek and a hug.
“I’ve got your waters and scotch as requested and… Eeekkkk!”
You screamed and dropped the glasses as none other than Scott Evans scared the pants off of you when he jumped from behind the door. He doubled over in laughter as he had gotten Chris and you in one go. You had dropped to your knees in fright and clutched at your chest.
“Scott! What the fuck man!” Chris yelled at his brother. Sometimes he wished that Scott and Jimmy were not as close friends as they were so maybe he wouldn’t have to had keep bringing him along every time.
Scott was still trying to breathe, “I’m sorry YNN. You both made it too easy.”
Sebastian, after hearing the commotion, ran to Chris’s room and looked around the corner and saw a sight that made him weak. It was you, on your knees, looking so seductive, your white button-down shirt basically see through from the dropped water and scotch, allowing a glimpse at the dark colored bra you wore underneath. He swallowed at the sight until he saw all of the glass and the liquid that covered you. “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine. This jackass scared the crap outta me,” you said pointing to Scott. Sebastian was shocked with the choice of words you used. You carefully got up with Sebastian and Christ helping you, so you didn’t get cut by the glass. Everyone was chuckling until they heard another voice scoff and say, “Pendeja.”
You froze, unbelieving what you were hearing. That didn’t stop Scott. He was fluent in Spanish and had a complete look of rage on his face. “What the fuck did you just call her?”
Alejandra paled when three male faces whipped towards her. She was speechless, unable to defend herself.
You got up and touched Scott’s arm to calm him, gave Chris a small smile and left the room. As you walked away, you turned back to see Sebastian looking like he wanted the floor to swallow him. You turned back and headed to your office and pray for a change of clothes, so you no longer smelled like scotch and humiliation.
Back in the dressing areas, Chris had called maintenance and they cleared the glass as Sebastian pulled Alejandra back into his dressing room. “What the fuck!”
“I’m sorry cariño, it slipped.”
“It slipped to call someone you don’t know an insulting name?”
“It… it wasn’t….”
“Don’t tell me it wasn’t Ale. Scott speaks Spanish and his face was what told me you said something derogatory. What did you call her?”
“I called her an idiot.” The voice was small and afraid.
“Really Ale, really? What the fuck for?”
“She made eyes at you, and I was upset.”
“A lot of women do Alejandra. Are you really that insecure in our relationship that you had to treat someone like that?”
“Cariño, I’m sorry.”
“Nah, forget it. Just go home Alejandra. You embarrassed me in front of my friends and in front of a perfect stranger.” He grabbed his bag and headed to Chris’s dressing room. He knocked on his door. “Can I hang in here for a while?”
“Sure Seb,” Chris replied as he sat with Scott.
Sebastian placed his bag in the corner and then sat of the opposite couch. “How the fuck did I end up with a bitch like Alejandra?” He dropped his head in his hands.
Chris cleared his throat, uncomfortable with the comment but knowing his friend needed him. “Did she tell you what she called YN?”
“Yeah, and the reason behind it. I mean this is the first time I’ve ever met this girl and all of a sudden Ale decided she needed to be a she-wolf.”
“You’ve never met YN?” Scott piped in.
“No, should, have I?”
“I mean, I thought…” Scott is stopped by Chris.
“He doesn’t come on the show as often as we do. I think this is the first time in a couple of years, right?”
“Yeah, I think so. She mentioned something about only being here recently.”
“For the last couple of years, yeah.” Chris is nervous suddenly but Sebastian chalks it up to his famous anxiety. They chat for a bit, waiting for the show to start.
You head back to Jimmy’s office, after changing into a black dress you happened to have, making sure that he is ready to go. “Hey Jimmy!”
“Hey YN! Ready for the last night of Men of Marvel week?”
“Kinda, all this testosterone is getting to me,” you said with a giggle.
“How are Chris, Scott and Sebastian?”
“Ready to roll, boss. Although Scott did scare me earlier.”
“Oh god, tell me we got that on camera.”
You sighed and pulled the flash drive from your pocket with the offending footage. The hallway had a camera and captured Scott jumping out and you falling. Jimmy plugs it in and views the tape. He laughs until he sees the confrontation with Alejandra. “What did she call you?”
“Pendeja. It means idiot or dumb ass in certain countries.” You look down at your hands. You knew what she said, and it hurt. She had never met you, didn’t know anything about you. And here she was, trying to make you feel insignificant.
“YNN, you know none of us think that way of you. This was an accident from a scare. You didn’t make a mistake.”
You wipe away an errant tear. “I know Jimmy. Thanks.”
“You know Chris and Scott would never think of you that way.”
“I know. I know.” You take a deep breath and square your shoulders. “You ready boss?”
“Oh, we all know you are more the boss than me,” he says. “Let me go say hi to the guys before we get started.” You grab his suit jacket and follow him to the dressing rooms. You’re surprised to see Sebastian in the Evans’s dressing room, but you didn’t say anything. Jimmy greeted everyone. “Scott, I know you are not in the Marvel universe, but you know we love you here at the Tonight Show.”
“Well if it wasn’t for YNN, I wouldn’t be here; she convinced Chris to bring me,” Scott replies, getting a chuckle from everyone else. You blush at the attention.
“Had I known I would be covered in scotch, I would have told Chris to leave you at home,” you say with a smirk, leave Scott with an open mouth and hard laughs from Jimmy, Sebastian and Chris.
Sebastian stands and asks, “um, YN, could I have a moment of your time.” You nod and head to the hallway. Sebastian pulls the door almost all the way closed and turns to face you. “I am sorry about Alejandra. Her comment was way out of line. She was rude and I just wanted to offer my apologies.”
“It’s ok Sebastian. Thank you for the apology. I’m used to snobs like her.” You play with the end of your ponytail. A nervous habit.
Sebastian gulped not sure how to convey his attraction. “It doesn’t excuse her behavior.” He slipped into Romannian. “Din tot sufletul, dragă, îmi cer scuze pentru ea.” (With all my heart, beautiful, I apologize for her.)
You look at him curiously. And reply, “Ar fi trebuit să alegi o femeie mai bună pentru ca inima ta să fie fericită.” (You should have picked a better woman for your heart to be happy.) He looked stunned and you continued. “It’s not a problem.”
You turned to head back into the dressing room, but Sebastian touches your arm. “I was wondering if I could buy you a drink after the show.”
You blush at the invitation. Sebastian Stan asking you for a drink is like the dream. However, you already had plans. “Oh, I would love to but I’m meeting someone after. Rain check?”
“Oh. Yeah sure. Here,” he took his phone out and gave it to you. You entered in your number and messaged yourself. “I live here in the city so whenever you have time.”
“Sure, I’ll text you.” You walked back into the room. Chris gave you a questioning look and you smiled and shook your head, letting him know you were ok.
You and Jimmy left the room and got ready for the show, stopping in the control room with the video, making sure it was edited to just show the scare. The show started and Jimmy did his thing, the monologue going off without a hitch. You waited for the cues, doing your thing. Sebastian came out first.
“Sebastian welcome back to the show. It’s been a couple of years.”
“Yes, thanks for having me. I wasn’t exactly sure if you’d have me back, considering the last time.”
“The last time… oh, yeah well.”
“C’mon man no need to be shy.”
“Not shy. Embarrassed maybe.”
“Now I’m hurt because we basically made out.” This drew out gasps and giggles from the crowd.
“We did not make out.”
“We did. I feel like we did. We should show them.”
“Yeah, I guess.” Jimmy points to the director. “Let’s show them last time.”
And a video play of musical cups where Sebastian accidentally takes a drink of one of the beers before the music stopped and had to spit the drink back into the cup. When the music did stop, Jimmy landed with the cup. The crowd roared with laughter watching the exchange.
Sebastian and Jimmy laugh it off and chat for a few minutes. Chris joins Sebastian on stage.
“So, Chris, we heard a rumor.”
“Ok. Lots of rumors. But hit me with it.”
“You have a new lady in your life.” Jimmy smirks at him.
“You do? You can do that?” Sebastian questions, drawing a laugh from everyone.
Chris blushes. “Yeah, well if I had a girlfriend, I would say that she wouldn’t want her name out there. Because she’s probably a private person.”
“Ok,” Jimmy says. “That’s fair. So, is that a yes?”
Chris just shakes his head and laughs.
Sebastian interjects. “I’m sure if Chris had a girlfriend, he would have told me. As far as I know, it’s just him and Dodger. And me but I’m like another puppy.”
Jimmy laughs and Chris punches Seb’s arm. They show the scare video, and they introduce you as an assistant that Scott is friends with. Scott comes out to explain what happened.
“Did you mean to get YN as well?”
“No, that was a happy coincidence. She’s a great girl and we’ve stayed close since…” he swallows, like he’s nervous… “since Chris and I met her a couple of years ago.”
“That’s great. Well, thank you to Sebastian Stan, Chris and Scott Evans for stopping by…” The show is ending. You had already finished and were putting on your coat while watching the closing. You said bye to the crew and headed over to the bar.
Ordering a lemon drop martini, you sit, waiting and get a message
I’ll just be a few.
You sigh, knowing he would be late. You take a sip and look around the room.
Sebastian couldn’t believe his luck when he went to the bar Chris had suggested. He wanted Seb to meet someone and said he would be a few minutes. In looking around for a seat, he saw you sitting at the bar. You were elegant still in your black dress, a change from the white from earlier. Like two sides of you in one day. He approached you out of your line of sight. “Fancy seeing you here.”
You turn to see Sebastian next to you with a smile. “It’s not hard to find me. I’m here every Friday.”
He took a seat next to you. “So, you know Romanian?”
You smile softly. “Yes. My best friend was from Romania. She taught me since I loved linguistics so much.”
“You are a polyglot?”
“Yep, English, French, Spanish, German and Romanian.”
“So, you know what Ale said?”
“Perfectly. Just because I don’t look like, I don’t know, sophisticated and shit doesn’t mean she should assume that I am lower than her.”
“I kicked her out. I’m so sorry she treated you that way.”
“Like I said, I’m used to it.” You sip your drink, wishing you could forget the entire day.
“So, you’re waiting for your friend or were you lying?”
“I just got a message that they are running a few minutes late.”
“So, is it a boyfriend or a friend?”
You blush, “a boyfriend. He wanted me to meet one of his best friends tonight.” You chew your lip slightly, starting to feel nervous.
“Oh, so its new?”
“No, we just never went public really. We’ve been dating for about a year and a half.” You take a sip as you can feel your cheeks are rosy.
“Oh, how’d you meet?” Sebastian felt like he couldn’t just walk away since he was meeting Chris. But he didn’t want to stop talking to the enchanting creature in front of him.
“Well…”
“Hey beautiful.” Chris walked up and threw his arm around you and kissed you softly.
“Hey baby,” you reply as you look at Sebastian who looks like a fish. Scott comes up as well.
“Hey YNN! You started without me!” he pouts.
“I run on normal time not Evans’s time,” you tease. “You’re always late Scotty.”
Sebastian finally closes his mouth. He swallows, realizing his been hitting on his best friend’s girl. “You and Chris.”
“Yeah,” he replied. “I met this one and we just wanted to keep things quiet. Didn’t want it to affect her job.”
“I was just asking how you met.”
“Well, I was out at a bar, The Kinckle Club for a blind date and he didn’t show. So after about an hour of waiting and two glasses of wine, I was going to head to my friend Jon’s for his birthday. Well, I literally ran into Chris in front of the bar. He helped me up and then I guess the rest is history. He said he knew Jon too and was supposed to go to his party as well, but we ended up talking all night that night. Never made it to Jon’s that day.”
“Best day to not meet up with you by the way,” he told Sebastian.
Sebastian thought back to when he would have invited Chris to Jon’s, and it hits him. He had stood up a date because he was too busy making moves on Alejandra, whom he met through Jon. The date was supposed to be on Jon’s birthday. The blind date was the date with you.
You hadn’t made the connection between the man who stood you up and himself. He mentally cursed himself the rest of the evening as he watched you interact with Chris.
Love lesson# 2: never standup a blind date. You never know if it’s your soul mate that you were destined to meet.

It Started With a Whisper
Chapter 2
Pairing: Sam Wilson x Black!Fem!reader / Plus Size reader
Warnings: 18+. Minors DNI. You are in charge of your own reading experience. This starts off tame, pure fluff. Soft Sam. Cursing and allusions to body parts and sex. This series will get explicit so I will keep the community label on mature. There will be angst and smut. Mentions of sick parents, responsible adulting, and unfair burdens. AAVE intentional language.
Summary: This starts off about a week or so before Captain America and The Winter Soldier. You are the front desk clerk who started a few months ago and you have a major crush on Sam Wilson, the handsome and sweet trauma counselor. Your best friend suckers you into going with Sam on a coffee run.
Word Count: 2,275k
Masterlist
A/N: The more I rewatch The Winter Soldier, I know I'm primarily drooling over Seb like everyone else, but I've really come to appreciate Sam. He's hilarious and Anthony Mackie is perfect. I just wanted to contribute a little something. While likes are awesome, please consider commenting and reblogging to support writers!
“You got a little drool there," Your best friend, Ariel, said and smacked your face with a folder. You jumped, pulled from your daydreaming, and smacked her back.
“Am not,” you muttered. You covertly wiped your mouth and Ariel laughed. “I saw that, ho,” she said.
You rolled your eyes and shuffled papers in front of you, grumbling to yourself. You didn’t want to look, but your eyes were drawn towards the front. Towards Sam. He stood talking to a veteran after their meeting and he was engaged, focused, listening. You briefly wondered what it would be like to have that focus on you.
You mentally shook yourself. You did not need those problems. Still, your eyes tracked him. How he moved, how he laughed. His smile was infectious. He was the type that not only heard you, but listened.
“When are you gonna tell that boy how badly you want to rip his–”
“Shush!” You scolded.
Ariel laughed and continued filing away client files. “He’s way over there, you think he can hear me?”
You shrugged. “We just found out Norse gods are real, supersoldiers coming back from the ice and shit, and aliens tried to take over New York. So yeah, you never know.”
Ariel laughed. “If Sam is special or whatever, don’t you think we would’ve found out by now? With how much you stare at him?”
“Hey, I don’t stare. It’s not like I can look at anything else. This is literally the front desk.”
Ariel held up her hands. “He ain’t sorry to look at. I’m just sayin’. You’d know if his fine ass had any super powers.”
You rolled your eyes again and focused on the meeting schedule in front of you and client emails. You bit your lip as you concentrated, intent on actually getting some work done.
Veterans Affairs was usually a chill place. As the front desk clerk, there wasn’t a lot of responsibility. Which you preferred. The hours were flexible, boss was understanding, and despite Ariel always talkin’ shit, you had good company. And yeah, the view wasn’t bad.
Again, your mind drifted to Sam. It didn’t make any sense for him to look that fine working in a place like this. But he was good with the veterans. His groups filled up fast sometimes, to the point where he’d stay for just one more.
You sighed. You were a grown woman. You had no business lusting after a man.
“Good afternoon, ladies.”
You jumped and looked over at Sam. Sam, standing in front of you. Sam, looking at you and smiling. You froze. Did you conjure him? Did he catch you staring?
Ariel elbowed you as she turned in the small front desk area and leaned on the desk. “Good afternoon, Sam. How goes it?”
“Afternoon,” you managed to mumble. You think. Idiot. How exactly do you talk to a man that you were just picturing naked? You bet it was big too. Fuck. You were thinking it again.
“Pretty good. I got some time before my next group. I was going to head to the cafe up the street and get something.” Sam kept his eyes fixed on you. You pointedly did not look at him. You didn’t care if you were being rude. You just wanted your face to stop giving away your nasty thoughts.
“Really! What a coincidence. Y/N was just saying she felt a little peckish,” Ariel said.
You whipped your head towards her and glared. You stumbled over your words. You couldn’t deny that shit fast enough.
“I-uh, well, my-my family packed something for me,” you said.
Sam laughed. “Don’t worry, I know you don’t want to be seen around town with someone like me.”
Your eyes widened and you shook your head. “That’s not true! I would never–I mean, I’m not…”
Sam laughed again. “I’m joking, Y/N.” How did he manage to make your name sound so…melodic?
You laughed nervously and licked your lips. You were a well educated woman, oldest child, and Sam turned you into a bumbling idiot.
“One of these days I’ll wear you down. You’ll have to give me a good excuse or go on and accept a date with me.”
Your cheeks couldn’t burn hotter. You thanked whoever was listening that your dark skin hid your blush. “Sam…”
He shook his head and waved you off. “I’m not pressuring you, I swear. I’m just sayin’, I’m a good time.” His smirk made his high cheekbones stick out.
“She knows it. She’s just stubborn,” Ariel said.
You stood up and bumped her with your hip, offering a small and fake apology. “I am not,” you said.
“I know it. I’ll have to impress her, right? Get her to take a chance on me?” Sam asked Ariel.
“Mhhm, poor thing needs to be hit over the head,” Ariel said.
“Are ya’ll done laughing at my expense?”
“No!” Sam and Ariel said at the same time. You rolled your eyes and put your hands on your hips.
Hell, you didn’t know why you kept saying no anyway. Well, you did. But your excuses never fazed Ariel. You had a busy home life, with family that depended on you. Was it really fair to start something up if you couldn’t follow through?
Ariel would say yes. That you deserved fun. That it didn’t have to be anything other than casual. But your crush was anything but casual. You wanted this man, biblically. You couldn’t string two sentences around the man.
But did you want your family to run your life? Just because you were responsible didn’t mean you had to be boring. You weren’t always like this. This…goop of a puddle who couldn’t look a man in the eye. You were gorgeous, goddamn it! You had curves, a nice ass, and a cute face. Tits weren’t bad either.
“One trip to the cafe?” You asked.
Sam grinned and nodded. “One trip. Harmless,” he said and shrugged his shoulders.
Mhmm. You looked at Ariel who pumped her fist. The bitch could at least be subtle about it. You giggled and gathered your purse.
“It appears I’m taking my break now,” you told Ariel.
“Take ya time. All the time you need,” Ariel said and eyed Sam up and down. She was embarrassing enough for the both of you.
You exited the closed off desk area, returning the half door to its place. You were doing it. You were standing next to him. You also felt like you were going to throw up, but you’d take the victory where you could.
Sam led the way out of the VA building and you blinked into the late DC sun. You forgot how dark it could be in the building. You needed to head out more and get some sun on your bones.
Together, you walked with Sam towards the small cafe on the corner. You walked in silence for a bit, biting the inside of your cheek. You were so painfully awkward.
“I gotta say, I’m shocked to see you out from behind the desk.”
You laughed. “Not what you was picturing?” You asked.
“Better.”
You laughed and rolled your eyes. “Boy…”
He laughed. “I’m sorry,” he said and didn’t look the least bit sorry. He always looked like he knew a secret you didn’t. Instead of looking like an asshole, he looked like he was dying to tell it.
“Can you blame me? I’ve been askin’ for months.” He said. You waited at a corner for the light to turn so you could cross. Sam got on the other side of you, so that he was closest to the oncoming traffic. Your heart melted a tiny bit.
DC was expansive and yet seemed so small. Cars were jam packed, honking, and everyone was rushing around. Everyone walked with a purpose, some place to be and something to do. There was a light breeze and the sun was losing its heat.
“I’m sorry about that…”
“I’m not saying it to make you feel bad. I’m just sayin’ I’m grateful I get to spend any time with you. Whatever you’re cool with, I promise.”
“I like that you ask me out. I hate havin’ to say no.” You admitted. It was so damn true, it hurt. You did hate saying no. You hated that he would smile through it all, so understanding. But you knew he was disappointed.
“Why do you say no?” He asked. He asked it softly, not judging. Sam was so damn sweet, you should have a cavity.
You took a deep breath as you crossed the street. It was a loaded question. Where did you start? A hermit mom who was too scared to leave the house after New York? Your stubborn but ailing dad who refused to go to the hospital? Your wild and out siblings who never took shit seriously?
“Home life is kind of…chaotic. After New York, everyone’s been on edge. I know it was two years ago, but it doesn’t really help. We had live footage that nasty aliens exist.”
Sam nodded his head. He held the door open for you as you went inside the cafe. The heavenly aroma of fresh bread and coffee made your mouth water. The cafe was smallish, mostly for getting the order to go. There were tables and chairs for people to sit but they were all occupied.
The shop itself had a new age, almost hippy vibe but was every inch the upscale coffee shop political types loved. Everything was modern, clean, and even had a chalkboard menu. Because of course they did.
You stood in line. “Yeah, that was insane to watch on TV before the cameras went down. I’ve talked to plenty of people that still fear going outside. You afraid of another attack?”
You sighed. You knew he wouldn’t judge you, bless him. But it wasn’t you that was afraid. Your mother’s nerves were so bad, they were contagious. It was easier to stay home than have her call you ten times per minute to make sure you were safe. Yes, you were aware that it had nothing to do with you. But you were trying, okay?
“Not me, exactly,” you said and laughed. “It’s hard to explain.”
“It’s cool. You don’t have to. But I’m here if you ever need someone to talk to,” he said.
You smiled at him. “Thanks, Sam.”
He smiled. You approached the barista and ordered. You reached for your wallet when Sam stopped you. “I asked you here, it’s my treat.”
“Sam, no. I can pay for my order.”
“Never said you couldn’t. My treat,” he said. He handed the barista his card and paid for the order anyway. You scowled. It only made him laugh.
“It’s only a few bucks.”
“That’s not the point. I don’t like people paying for me,” you said.
“Not even as a treat?” He asked. You both moved off to the side to wait for your coffee and muffin.
“Not really,” you said.
Sam smiled. “I’m sorry. Tell you what. We can walk here again tomorrow and I’ll let you pay. I’ll even order the most expensive thing on the menu.”
You laughed and shook your head. “You just want to walk here again with me.”
“Did it work?” He asked.
You pursed your lips. Dammit, yes. You nodded and he celebrated. “I’ll take it.”
You grabbed your order and headed back towards the building, asking how he got started into counseling.
“Counseling helped me a lot when I got back. I wanted to pay it forward. I’m pretty good at talkin’ to people. Figured it was my calling,” he said.
“You ever miss it?”
Sam shrugged and sipped some of his coffee. You admired anyone who could walk and drink. Your drink would’ve ended up all over your outfit. And you rather liked these jeans and your flowery blouse.
“Yes and no? I don’t miss the action. I miss my brothers though. There’s a deep bond you form over there that never really leaves you.”
You nodded. You never served but you heard that sentiment repeatedly as they checked in for groups, signed up for others, or needed resources. The military chewed you up and spat you out and never stopped to give a damn.
You continued to learn more about him, more than you managed to pick up when you started working at the VA. He was from Louisiana, he has a sister, and two nephews. His parents owned a fishing business.
He was so easy to talk to, once you got past your initial dirty thoughts and weird hangups about him. He made you laugh so many times on the way back, your sides were hurting as you entered the dimly lit, bland government building. He walked you back to the front desk where Ariel was grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
“Nothing for me? I’m hurt.”
“Good. That’s what you get for being a smart ass,” you said.
“Got your behind out walking with him, didn’t it?” Ariel laughed and high-fived Sam.
You narrowed your eyes. “I hope ya’ll didn’t plan this,” you said.
Sam held up his hands, raising his cup in the air. “On my honor as an Airman, I did not plan this.” He walked backwards as he winked at you.
“Until tomorrow, Y/N.”
“Bye, Sam,” you said and rolled your eyes. Even if it was a set up, you didn’t mind. You had a lot of fun.
You entered the booth and sat down. Ariel leaned her hip against the desk and flipped her long hair over her shoulder.
“Spill, bitch!”

New Years Eve
summary: Some time ago, you met Anthony Mackie on the set of a movie project. You two understood each other from the first second. Although you tend to avoid social contacts, he constantly invites you to his annual parties. At least five times a year, you’ll be in his house. Parties aren’t for you, but he always makes you laugh even though you don’t want to be there. And every time at those parties, you meet an incredibly handsome man. Will he and you finally get closer on New Year’s Eve?
pairing: Sebastian Stan x fem!reader
word count: 1.3k
warnings: none I guess
✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪✪
You met Anthony on Set when you became a bit bigger in the scene. As a not over social person you often stayed in your trailer reading a book. You could say that Anthony adopted you when he found out that you were practically hiding to not talk with people. He took you out to eat lunch or you were just roaming around the city. He was making you feel all kinds of comfort. You had great chemistry and soon became friends. For New Years he wanted to throw a massive house party with all his friends, colleagues and family . You volunteered to help him with decorations etc. because you really liked organizing parties. At the time time you were damn nervous because you knew that Sebastian will come tonight. You were crushing hard on this men. On the other hand you met Sebastian a few times only. Every time you had great conversations for hours ongoing, you two laughed and smiled a lot but did this mean he liked you the way you liked him? Tonight you wanted to shoot your shot. A kiss after the New Years countdown sounded perfect to you. Mackie knew about your crush that is why he bought your outfit. “He’s gonna see u in this and man.” He chuckled and made an obscene pose. “I am so good at this.” As you looked in the bag you couldn’t believe your eyes. This little black dress was a tiny piece of clothing. “I am not gonna wear that. I’d rather die.” You shoved the bag right back into his arms. “What? No! You are gonna look sexy as hell. He will be head over heels for you.” “I doubt that. It’s barely covering my ass and tits.” You gestured up and down your body. “That’s the point darling. You have great tits and a bombastic ass. Show him.” You shook your head.
Because of his compliment, you still had to smile. "Okay I'll wear it, but only if I get to do my make up and hair by myself." He grinned widely and gave you a high five. "You got it." An hour later, the house was conspicuously decorated with all sorts of odds and ends and food was on the tables. The drinks were all set up in the kitchen, so everyone could help themselves. Now you could finally get ready, too. "What if he doesn't come at all today?" You called into the room while Anthony was putting on a shirt. "Oh he'll come, he promised me." You rolled your eyes. "Okay, and what if he comes with an escort or hooks up with a pretty girl at the party?" Anthony put his hands on your bare shoulders. "You worry too much. None of that is happening. In that outfit, he only has eyes for you. Just look at you. That dress is perfect for your body type. I've outdone myself." He laughed out loud. "Just get off your high horse," you smirked.
After a few more hours, the house gradually filled up. It was still exactly four hours until midnight and you already had a headache from the stuffy air and the loud music. You weren't really in the party mood for the new year yet, inside you were rather cleaning up after the guests who were making a mess. To clear your head, you went outside to the terrace. There, the lights danced across the pool and fewer people danced and wrestled around. Anthony you had lost in the crowd a while ago. Exhaling loudly, you leaned against the wall of the house and closed your eyes. Peace and quiet. "Y/N there you are!" Sounded Anthony's voice not two seconds later. "Look who I found!" he warbled. Sebastian stood beside him, a red cup in his hand. In the blue shirt, he looked simply gorgeous. Swallowing, you began to smile. "Hey, you made it." He stared at you for a few seconds and nodded. "Yeah wow ehm you look great. That dress suits you immensely." You noticed your cheeks turning red from the heat rising into them but still returned his hug. God he smelled so divine like a man, with a hint of sandalwood. "Thanks Seb."
You chatted a few minutes before someone called his name and he turned away from you to talk to the other person. Now was your chance to grab a water. A quick check to the clock told you there was only one and a half hour left till midnight. Your eyes wandered trough the crowd of people dancing when you caught the familiar color of his shirt. A really pretty redhead reached for a strand of hair and smiled widely at him. You couldn't hear what they were saying but she probably complimented him the way he smiled back at her. Your heart pounded faster than it should with the sting in your stomach. Jealousy creeped up your blood line. But you shouldn't be jealous, he's not even yours. Quickly you looked elsewhere.
At the same time Anthony watched your reaction intensely and started playing his role as wing man for the night.
"Hey man who you kissing tonight?" Sebastian looked at him in confusion "I am single why should I kiss someone?" Anthony put his arm around his shoulder. "Everybody kisses someone at midnight." Seb drew his eyebrows together. "Who are you kissing?" He laughed. "I am kissing that hot chic right over there." Sebastian laughed nervously. "Okay good for you. And who should I kiss?" He shrugged his shoulders. "Y/N." Mackie smiled at him. "Y/N?" "Trust me. Just kiss her and you'll see how she feels about you. You flirt at every one of my parties." He rolled his eyes. "Flirting doesn't mean we're going to be anything." Anthony grinned meaningfully. "Trust me. She wants to be kissed." Sebastian sighed. "You know I'm not the type to do that." "I know, I know, but it's either that or lock you in a closet for seven minutes like the teen parties used to be." Sebastian laughed softly and took a sip of the alcohol that was mixed with some soft drink. Maybe he needed this burning in his throat today to finally have the courage to take the first step. His eyes scanned your body with arousal. The way you leaned against the bar, at the other side of the room, lost in your own thoughts. Not seeing how many men are staring at you just in this second.
In a chorus, the last ten digits of the countdown sounded. Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. You couldn't see Sebastian anywhere, how could you possibly make it to him by one? Yourself. Five. Four. You went around in circles but there were just too many people. Three. Two. Oh, God.
Before the one sounded, warm hands closed around your cheeks and soft lips touched yours. Surprised, you let your eyes open and looked into the face you just wanted to see all evening. "Kiss me Y/N." He murmured against your lips and you gave in. Sighing, you wrapped your arms around his neck and pressed your body against his. You didn't even notice the cheers and lights around you. The kiss felt so real. You felt everything. You almost lost your mind when you felt his tongue exploring your mouth. It felt like hours before you broke away from each other. "That was…" He began and you finished the sentence. "Wow." While he added "Long overdue." You both had to laugh and looked deep into each other's eyes afterwards. "Do you feel like getting out of here and maybe going somewhere else for a bite to eat or a coffee?" He scratched the back of his head and you nodded happily. "I'd love to."

No Letting Go
Pairings: Anthony Mackie x Black!Fem!Reader
Word Count: 1509
Warnings: Smoking, Choking, Back Shots
BBJ Masterlist
We know he doesn’t shy away from water. Shit, he spends any free time he has near it; fishing - a tranquil way for him to pass the time, to catch a breather if you will, or to simply enjoy his hobby.
One day, during the winter of all months, Anthony and I made a quick getaway to a cabin in the woods to escape from the fast pace city life; where you guessed it, a lake adorned a good portion of our back yard. Unfortunately for me, the lake hadn’t frozen all the way through and, my poor baby, he just couldn’t resist temptation. Dressed in his warmest gear, he waddled his ass to the lake for “no more than twenty minutes, I promise.” And what started out as dry fun soon turned into wet consequences. We spent the rest of that evening by the fireplace with me chastising him for not being more careful. And would you believe he still tried to get back out there the next day. That man is as stubborn as they come.
But I love that about him and how he’s actually my little expertise on the waters around the world. I love how he never ceases to amaze me with all that knowledge he holds inside of his big, beautiful brain. Like the fact that a little over 90% of Earth’s freshwater is trapped in the form of ice or that the Nile River is the longest. Or how there are more swimming pools in the US than stories in NYC. And speaking of pools, it should come as no surprise that they’re his preference for swimming. After all, “only 5% of the ocean has been explored,” he recited only since the beginning of our relationship.
Now normally he’d hit a couple laps in our home pool and swim his heart out, but tonight we’re just chilling with some drinks, cigars, and endless stories filled with useless fun facts on his end. But Anthony has a way of making even the mundane interesting cause really, what's a conversation with him if he doesn’t make me belly laugh. I’m talking about the wheezing kind where I have to shut him up just so I can get a second to breathe.
Wrapped in his arms, my back is facing his front as he held my body to his, stroking and kneading his calloused digits across my skin. Cocking my head to the side I lazily look into his eyes, vision blurred by the cloud of smoke between us. As the haze clears he peers down at me, a sly grin adorning his face, as he swoops down and lands a tender kiss to my lips.
Four drinks later, my peach schnapps has me feeling fuzzy and might I say, a bit daring. In my drunken state I let out a loud moan, muffled by his lips, and raised my hand out of the water to wrap around the back of his neck. Water droplets slide down my arms and to my elbows as I hold his face to mine, pulling back ever so slightly to land an open, wet kiss to his lips.
Withdrawing, I press one final peck to his mouth and spin my body around to face his. Arms folded around his neck I watched, mesmerized as he takes one last drag of his cigar and outs it on the perimeter of the pool. Attaching my lips to his, I shotgun the remaining smoke and draw back, swallowing it down before waiting a few seconds as I lift my head toward the sky to exhale the rest.
Hands cupping my ass, his mouth finds itself buried in the crevice of my neck, trailing light kisses up to my jaw. Arms tightening around me, Anthony grinds his hips into my pelvis and I feel just how excited he’s become.
“You ready to head inside daddy,” I beckoned toward the house.
“Nah,” he rasps. “I want you right here baby.”
Slowly wading in the water, he continues to guide me until I come to a full stop as my lower back presses on the edge of the pool.
Leaning in, Anthony presses his lips to mine and what was supposed to be a brief peck soon turned lengthy. Tongue shoved toward the back of my throat, thick and wet as he lazily glides it over mine, I can’t help but bask in the feeling of his fingers slowly crawling up and around my waist. When we finally pull apart, I greedily suck in a few breaths of air, but I’m abruptly interrupted as he thrusts my body forward against the concrete; driblets of water flying across the ground.
Pressing his hips against mine, Anthony’s fingers lightly brush the hair off my neck and onto the side of my shoulder, his teeth nibbling away at my ear. His warm breath tickles my jaw while he works to untie the straps of my bikini bottom.
“Whatcha thinking pretty lady?”
“Just waiting on you to fuck me,” I breathe out.
“Hmm, my babys eager huh?”
“Yes sir,” I whine out.
“Say it again,” he demands, with a snap to my bottom half.
“Yes sir,” I squeal out, watching as my underwear floats along the currents of the pool.
“Hands on deck baby, you know the drill,” Anthony enunciated.
Folding my arms on the coping of the pool, I lean forward in anticipation, longing for him to take me to pound town. My ass rises above the surface of the water and I shudder as the chilly breeze whips across it. Anthony’s hands gliding across my ass cheeks sends another shudder through me as he inches his fingers closer to my core.
“Tell me baby, is pussylips one word or should I spread them apart?” he asks, delving his fingers into the warmth of my canal.
The sudden intrusion has me yelping, taken a bit off guard, and if I weren’t so distracted I’d laugh at his lame line. He pumps his digits inside of me for a few moments before sliding them out altogether. I feel empty and if the pout on my lips is anything to go by, he’s peeped it too.
“Don’t worry sugar,” Anthony says, “you’ll get it soon enough. Just had to make sure you were ready for me, and you never disappoint,” he assured, sliding his fingers inside of my mouth.
“Mhmm,” is the stifled sound that escapes me as he rolls them around my tongue.
I don’t get a chance to taste myself often, but every time that I do I see exactly why he won’t leave me alone. Taking in the glossy goodness, I barely feel Anthony line himself up to my entrance and it isn’t until he plunges to a hilt that my jaw drops, his fingers sliding out and trailing up into my hair; where he grabs a handful, none too lightly.
He gives me a few necessary seconds to adjust to his sheer size before setting off on an unwavering pace. Mewling into the air, Anthony pulls my hair back and smashes his lips in the crook of my neck, groaning; the vibrations sending extra chills down my spine.
The water fiercely splashes between us each time his pelvis hits my ass, and I move one hand from the deck to slip my fingers in between my legs.
“Yeah, that’s right. Gone and make it juicy for me sugar,” he growls.
He knows what his pet names do for me and makes it a habit of saying them every time we have sex; not that I’m complaining. His rhythm quickens and so does the pressure on my clit as I roll my fingers around with motive.
My belly retracts from the intensity and my toes curl up under the water, body leaning forward to relive some of the pressure from my feet. Fist tightened and eyes clamped shut, my mind feels transported as different colours dance around behind my lids. I feel so close, oh so close until Anthony’s hand slithers from the root of my scalp and to the collar of my neck.
Squeezing the sides coupled with his fierce thrusting throws me over the edge and I cum, wailing into the night sky as tears stream down my cheeks.
Pulling out of me, he finishes on my back; traces of semen flying from my skin, to the pool, and to the coping ahead of us. The warmth of his spent drips down my clammy skin as he howls out his release like a wounded animal and it's only then that I’m brought back to reality.
Spinning around, Anthony plants his mouth on mine, forcing my jaw open so that he can cram his tongue inside. Nose pressed against my cheek, he retracts his lips and inhales deeply, peppering my face with butterfly kisses as his fingers slide down my waist and softly knead into them once more.
