ANSWER THE PUBLIC: AEO IS NEW SEO
Comparing SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) reveals both similarities and crucial differences:
Similarities:
Focus on user experience: Both strategies aim to provide users with the best possible experience on the internet. This means optimizing content, improving website usability, and ensuring relevance to user search intent.
Keyword targeting: Both SEO and AEO involve identifying and targeting relevant keywords to attract users, although AEO focuses more on specific questions and phrases likely to be used in voice searches or answer boxes.
Technical factors: Both require attention to technical SEO aspects like website speed, mobile-friendliness, and structured data to ensure search engines can properly crawl and index your content.
Differences:
Goal: SEO aims to improve your website's ranking in general search results pages (SERPs), while AEO focuses on getting your content featured in answer boxes or direct answers displayed at the top of SERPs for specific questions.
Content approach: SEO content might be broader and encompass various formats, while AEO content is typically concise and directly answers specific questions.
User intent: SEO caters to users with various browsing intentions, from exploring to researching to buying. AEO targets users with specific, answer-seeking intent.
Metrics: SEO success is measured by metrics like website traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions. AEO success is measured by click-through rates (CTRs) for featured snippets and direct answers, along with user engagement with the provided answers.
Future of AEO:
AEO is poised for significant growth, driven by several factors:
Rise of voice search: As voice assistants and smart speakers become more popular, users increasingly ask questions directly. AEO-optimized content will be crucial to appearing in voice search results.
Evolving search engine algorithms: Google and other search engines are constantly prioritizing accurate and informative answers. AEO strategies that provide direct and valuable responses will gain prominence.
User preference for quick answers: Busy users often seek immediate answers to their questions. AEO content that concisely addresses their needs will be favored.
So, while SEO remains essential for broader website visibility, AEO is becoming increasingly important for capturing featured snippets and direct answer placements, especially for long-tail keywords and conversational queries. Businesses that master both SEO and AEO will be well-positioned to succeed in the evolving search landscape.

Becoming a Yandex SEO expert takes dedication and an understanding of the nuances that differentiate it from Google SEO. Here's a roadmap to help you navigate your journey:
Master the Yandex Algorithm:
Dive deep into Yandex Webmaster Tools: This is your key to understanding Yandex's indexing, ranking factors, and performance metrics. Familiarize yourself with Yandex Rank, SerpStat, and Wordstat for keyword research and competitor analysis.
Embrace user behavior: Yandex prioritizes user engagement. Focus on creating high-quality content that satisfies search intent and keeps users on your site longer.
Refine your technical SEO: Ensure your site is mobile-friendly, loads quickly, and has a clear sitemap for efficient crawling and indexing. Pay attention to internal linking and URL structure.
Content is King (but not a robot):
Prioritize quality over quantity: Yandex values fresh, unique, and informative content. Avoid keyword stuffing and plagiarism. Focus on providing value and expertise to your users.
Optimize for local search: Yandex places a strong emphasis on geographical ranking. Optimize your website and content for specific regions and cities relevant to your target audience.
Embrace the Russian language: Understanding the nuances of the Russian language and cultural references will help you create content that resonates with your target audience.
Beyond the Basics:
Stay updated on Yandex algorithm changes: Yandex updates its algorithms more frequently than Google. Keep yourself informed through official Yandex announcements, industry blogs, and forums.
Build backlinks from high-authority Russian websites: Backlinks are still important for Yandex SEO. Focus on quality over quantity and prioritize relevant links from established Russian domains.
Consider Yandex paid advertising: Yandex Direct can be a powerful tool for driving targeted traffic to your website. Familiarize yourself with its functionalities and consider utilizing it alongside organic SEO efforts.
Bonus Tips:
Learn from the Yandex SEO community: Engage with other SEO professionals in Russia through online forums, conferences, and workshops. Networking with experienced Yandex SEOs can offer valuable insights and advice.
Analyze successful Yandex case studies: Study how other websites have achieved high rankings in Yandex SERPs. This can provide you with valuable ideas and strategies for your own SEO campaigns.
Practice makes perfect: Implement what you learn through experimentation and analysis. Track your results and continuously refine your strategies to improve your Yandex SEO performance.
Remember, becoming a Yandex SEO expert is a continuous learning process. By staying dedicated, adaptable, and focused on user experience, you can navigate the unique landscape of Yandex and help your clients achieve online success.

Why Most Digital Marketers Struggle with SEO and How You Can Get Ahead
If you’re studying Digital Marketing or want to study Digital Marketing, you would have already heard a lot about SEO. But here’s something most people won’t tell you: focusing only on SEO tactics (like keywords and backlinks) without a clear SEO strategy can keep you away from truly excelling in this field.
Here’s how to avoid the most common SEO traps and set yourself apart:
1️⃣ Avoid Common SEO Mistakes
Mistake 1: Chasing Keywords Without PurposeMany new marketers load their content with random keywords, hoping it’ll work magic for rankings. But without understanding why people are searching for those terms, the content often falls flat. Try this: Use free tools like Google’s Keyword Planner, Google Trends and AnswerThePublic to find keywords your audience actually cares about. Ask yourself: What questions are people asking? How can my content genuinely answer them?
Mistake 2: Ignoring Page Loading Speed on Mobile With so many users browsing on their phones, neglecting mobile speed optimization is like leaving money on the table. And slow-loading sites? They lose visitors faster than you could imagine. Try this: Use Mobile-Friendly Test from various websites like SmallSEOTools.com, SiteChecker.pro etc. to check your site. For speed, try a tool like PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix or Pingdom, to identify what’s slowing things down and follow its suggestions to make your site faster.
2️⃣ Know the Difference: SEO Tactics vs. SEO Strategy
SEO Tactics are the specific actions you take, like adding keywords, optimizing images, or getting backlinks. These are important, but only if they’re part of a larger plan.
SEO Strategy, on the other hand, is the why behind those actions. A strong SEO strategy aligns your efforts with your audience's journey and your overall business goals. This approach helps you attract the right visitors - those likely to stay, engage, or buy.
Try this: Map out a content plan by asking, “What are my audience's biggest questions at each stage of their journey?” Then, create content for each stage to guide them from start to finish.
3️⃣ Action Steps for Continuous Improvement
Stay Updated and Test Regularly: SEO changes fast. Set aside 40 minutes a week to read two to three SEO articles from sources like Moz or Search Engine Journal.
Review Your Work: Every few weeks, review your top-performing content. What’s working, and why? Try using tools like Google Analytics to see which pages are getting traffic and optimize them even further.
Experiment and Learn: SEO is a skill you build by doing. Start a simple blog or project website and apply what you’re learning. Track your progress, try new techniques, and learn as you go. Each experiment teaches you something new.
Ready to make SEO a skill you’re confident in? 🎯

Advanced Keyword Research for SEO Success
In today’s digital landscape, keyword research is more than simply finding popular terms. Advanced keyword research goes deeper into understanding search intent, user behavior, and market competition. Here, we’ll explore effective techniques and tools that can help businesses identify high-performing keywords, target specific audiences, and ultimately drive conversions.
1. Understanding User Intent
User intent is the reason behind a search query, and it can generally be classified into three types:
Informational: User wants information (e.g., "how to bake a cake").
Navigational: User is searching for a specific site or page (e.g., "Facebook login").
Transactional: User is ready to make a purchase (e.g., "buy leather boots online").
For advanced keyword research, understanding and grouping keywords by intent can help tailor content and improve engagement. Tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush can help analyze intent data by showing keyword usage patterns in real searches.
2. Using Long-Tail Keywords
Long-tail keywords, which are longer and more specific phrases, tend to have lower search volumes but often lead to higher conversion rates. These keywords target a narrower audience with clear intentions. For example, instead of targeting a broad keyword like "running shoes," a business could focus on a long-tail variant like "best running shoes for flat feet."
Advanced tools like KeywordTool.io and AnswerThePublic help in discovering relevant long-tail keywords by providing insights into what specific phrases people use in search engines.
3. Competitor Analysis for Keyword Opportunities
Studying competitors’ keyword strategies is a highly effective way to find new opportunities. Tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs allow users to analyze their competitors’ most successful keywords, see the content they rank for, and understand their backlink profile. By identifying gaps in your competitors’ strategies, you can target keywords they haven’t addressed well or at all.
For instance, if a competitor is missing keywords around "sustainable fashion" for their clothing line, and you offer sustainable products, this gap can be an opportunity for you to rank highly for those searches.
4. Leveraging Semantic and Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) Keywords
Search engines like Google use Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) to understand the context and relevance of content by looking at semantically related words. Incorporating LSI keywords helps optimize content naturally, making it appear more authoritative and comprehensive.
To find LSI keywords, you can use Google’s “Searches related to…” feature at the bottom of search result pages. Additionally, tools like LSIGraph generate related keywords, giving insights into terms that could strengthen your content’s relevance.
5. Utilizing SERP Features Analysis
Search Engine Results Pages (SERP) have evolved beyond simple text listings. Advanced keyword research involves understanding how different SERP features, such as Featured Snippets, People Also Ask sections, and Knowledge Panels, impact search results. Targeting keywords with potential to appear in these features can increase visibility and credibility.
By using tools like Moz or Ahrefs, you can analyze SERP features and identify keywords that align with them. For example, if a high-performing keyword often appears in a “People Also Ask” section, answering these related questions in your content may increase your chances of ranking.
6. Exploring Seasonal and Trend-Based Keywords
Trends fluctuate seasonally, and so does search volume for certain keywords. Identifying seasonal keywords can help businesses capitalize on peak periods. Tools like Google Trends provide valuable insights into search volume changes over time, highlighting when specific terms gain popularity.
For instance, keywords related to “gifts” will typically surge during the holiday season. By timing content creation and updates with these trends, you can capture more traffic and convert it into sales during high-demand periods.
7. Analyzing Keyword Difficulty and Search Volume
Two essential metrics in advanced keyword research are Keyword Difficulty (KD) and Search Volume. Keyword Difficulty measures how competitive a term is, while Search Volume indicates its popularity. High-KD keywords are harder to rank for, but often come with high search volume.
Using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz, you can analyze these metrics and find a balance between high volume and manageable difficulty. Opt for low- to medium-difficulty keywords with good search volume for quicker wins, while also targeting high-difficulty keywords as long-term goals.
8. Incorporating Geo-Targeted Keywords
For businesses targeting local audiences, geo-targeted keywords are essential. These keywords often have high conversion potential because they capture users close to the point of action. Phrases like “dentist near me” or “best pizza in [city]” are examples of localized keywords.
Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs allow you to filter keywords by geographic location, helping businesses focus on region-specific terms that attract local customers.
9. Using Advanced Keyword Tools for Granular Analysis
Modern keyword research tools provide a wide range of data that goes beyond simple keyword suggestions. Here’s how advanced tools can help:
SEMrush: Offers competitor analysis, keyword gap identification, and search intent data.
Ahrefs: Known for backlink analysis, content gap reports, and keyword difficulty scoring.
Ubersuggest: Ideal for tracking keyword trends, seasonal variations, and competition.
SurferSEO: Optimizes content by analyzing SERP data and on-page SEO metrics.
Final Thoughts
Mastering advanced keyword research allows businesses to build a more sophisticated and data-driven SEO strategy. By understanding user intent, leveraging long-tail and LSI keywords, and analyzing competitive data, you can develop a strategy that aligns with both search algorithms and user preferences. Embrace these techniques and tools to improve rankings, attract qualified traffic, and enhance your site’s authority.

What are keywords?
Keywords are the words and phrases that people use to search for information on the internet. They are the building blocks of SEO and help search engines understand what your content is about.
How to choose keywords for seo
When choosing keywords for your website, it's important to consider the following factors:
- Search volume: How many people are searching for this keyword?
- Competition: How many other websites are trying to rank for this keyword?
- Relevance: Is this keyword relevant to your business and the content on your website?
To get started, create a list of potential keywords that are relevant to your business. You can use tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and Seed Keywords to generate keyword ideas.

Die 7 besten kostenlosen Tools zur Keywordrecherche in 2023
Tumblr media
1. Answer the Public
Mit Answer the Public kannst du herausfinden was deine Zielgruppe suchst oder besser gesagt was sie intressiert.
Was sind Longtail Keywords? 3 SEO Tips for a New Website
Improve Your Technical SEO:
Making sure your website is technically sound is essential to ranking higher in search engines like Google.
Technical SEO is the foundation of your website. It involves many pieces that make your site easy to access, easy to navigate, and most importantly, easy to crawl.
Tumblr media
There are potentially endless ways to improve your website’s technical SEO. Here are some of the most important aspects to check on:
Secure your site with SSL, where the website URL starts with “HTTPS://” rather than “HTTP://”.
Ensure your site is mobile-friendly. You can use Google's Mobile-Friendly Test Tool to check individual page URLs.
Install Google Analytics & Google Search Console :
Once your website’s technical SEO is on point, you should start setting up tools that will help you analyze and track your SEO performance.
To start, create Google Analytics and Google Search Console properties for your site and follow the simple instructions for adding the required tags to your site.
Tumblr media
Google Analytics is perhaps one of the best free SEO software tools you can use to understand where your site visitors are coming from and how they navigate your site.
This tool gives you insights into how much time people spend on your website, which countries or cities your visitors come from, and a ton of other valuable data on your potential customers’ behaviors and browsing habits.
Google Search Console is another free web tool to help you manage your site's visibility in Google Search. Use this tool to submit sitemaps, submit new content, and ensure your pages are mobile-friendly and are crawled correctly by Google.
Perform Keyword & Competitive Research:
Without conducting research, you're shooting in the dark. Use keyword research to ensure you're writing about the topics and keywords people are actually searching for. Check out these top keyword research tools to improve your research efforts.
Tumblr media
