It all began that night—
It was not thrilling news when he got transferred to the Gotham Police Department, but he knew there would be an ultimate reason behind it, a one too secretive to even tell him until he was settled there already. This city, it is quieter than where he has come from, yet there is LOUDNESS to it that differs from any other place he has been to, it has it’s pros and cons just like any other place, and though the gloominess is something most would deter from, it matches him in someway, even Philip has joked about it a couple of times.
This city, just like some others, has its HERO too, a controversial one: the Batman, the Dark Knight. Another mask, another vigilante. He can’t deny having a slight liking to their ways, their BRUTALITY even when they make their victims bruise more than bleed.
It is the midst of night when the knight is fighting against a tough group of criminals with newly developed technology, a card they have kept hidden until the vigilante is already out and almost cornered. He is there, only watching, his presence could go undetected with how he controls his vitals like a puppet master, his own body the puppet with the strings attached right into his own fingertips. They live up to their reputation, but luck seems to run out fast, and they must be badly -if not almost fatally- injured with that BLOW, a one that also buys him time to step in, hoodie covering his head while the turned up collar of his turtleneck takes care of the lower part of his face. He is not trying to hide from the man with the mask, no, but rather from their assailants. His steps are light, almost undetectable as he approaches them, careful should they mistake him for the enemy— is he? It would look almost impossible for a mere human like himself to be able to lift the weight he does off their trapped body, but he makes it look almost effortless, only a deep breath as he gets it done. He can see parts of their face enough to make out their IDENTITY, but it doesn’t matter really; he already knows.
He knows too much.
❝ Can you move? You need to leave. Now! ❞
—this night, it continues.
❛ Police! ❜ His comrades take over the place, a one that is ready thanks to the Batman’s interference. Everyone is trying to find the vigilante, everyone but him; he KNOWS where they are. ❝ Roof is clear! ❞ He speaks through the radio, releasing the click once done. They won’t be rechecking after him; he has proven himself too good and trustworthy for that. Silly them.

Ohio: 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl Champions
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.—The Ohio football team (10-3, 6-2 MAC) wrapped up their 2023 season at the Myrtle Beach Bowl with a historic 41-21 victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles (6-7, 3-5 SBC).
This win marks Ohio's first time in program history recording consecutive 10-win seasons and made the Bobcats the first Mid-American Conference team to win five consecutive bowl games. Five turnovers forced sets the program record for the most turnovers forced in a bowl game, a record that hasn't been touched since the 1962 Sun Bowl (4).
Freshman running back Rickey Hunt was a force to be reckoned with, tying the NCAA bowl record for touchdowns in a game as well as setting the program record for most touchdowns scored in a game (5). On top of that, Hunt (Oklahoma City, Okla.) scored the most touchdowns in a bowl game since Dorian Brown in Bahamas Bowl (4). This stellar performance earned him 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl MVP accolades.
The game marked multiple career firsts for the Bobcats. Graduate student quarterback Parker Navarro (Tempe, Ariz.) recorded his first collegiate start, going 11-for-16 with 120 passing yards and one passing touchdown. On the ground, Navarro recorded 15 carries on 71 yards. Hunt led the team on the ground, finishing with 115 rushing yards on 17 carries. Of his five touchdowns — which marked his first five collegiate touchdowns — four were rushing and one was receiving.
Safeties Jeremiah Wood (Pickerington, Ohio), Adonis Williams Jr. (South Euclid, Ohio) and Walter Reynolds (Detroit, Mich.) all snagged their first career interceptions. Wood also recorded one forced fumble, one pass breakup and five tackles. Graduate student Bruce Houston (Lewis Center, Ohio) led the defense with eight total tackles — highlighted by five solo stops — and one quarterback hurry; Reynolds was right behind him with seven tackles on the game.
Freshman kicker Gianni Spetic (Chardon, Ohio) had a perfect day, kicking two successful field goals and five PATs. Freshman kicker Alex Kasee (Sylvania, Ohio) recorded 428 yards on seven kickoffs, averaging 61.1 yards per kick, while redshirt junior punter Jack Wilson (Sylvania, Ohio) amassed 115 yards on three punts.
Wood shut down the opening drive with his first career interception, giving Ohio the ball less than two minutes into the game. The Bobcats concluded the ensuing 11-play, 43-yard drive with a 27-yard field goal, putting Ohio ahead by three. Hunt extended the Bobcats' lead in the second quarter with a two-yard rushing touchdown. After Spetic's extra point, Ohio led 10-0. The next drive, Adonis Williams Jr. snagged Ohio's second interception of the day, preventing the Eagles' offense from gaining momentum.
Hunt scored his second touchdown of the day—and first career receiving touchdown—with 3:16 until halftime. Redshirt sophomore linebacker Shay Taylor's (Mount Perry, Ohio) fumble recovery on the ensuing drive set the Bobcats up to score again, closing the first half with a field goal to take a 20-0 lead.
Reynolds stopped Georgia Southern's first drive of the second half short with Ohio's third interception of the game, returning the ball for 40 yards. Hunt immediately took advantage of regaining possession, scoring with a six-yard rushing touchdown to put the Eagles at a 27-point deficit.
Georgia Southern scored their first touchdown with 7:54 remaining in the third quarter, cutting the Bobcats' lead to 20 points with a three-yard rushing touchdown and a successful PAT. Ohio's next drive ended in a 40-yard punt, but Wood's forced fumble followed by a 30-yard return by redshirt junior cornerback Roman Parodie (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) set up a 60-yard drive for Ohio, concluding in a 40-yard rushing touchdown for Hunt and extending Ohio's lead to 34-7. The Eagles quickly recovered, answering with a 65-yard receiving touchdown the following drive. Georgia Southern chipped away at the Bobcats' lead in the fourth as well, opening the final 15 minutes of play with a 15-yard receiving touchdown, putting the score at 34-21.
Hunt wasn't done yet—with 2:52 remaining in the game, he wrapped up an eight-play, 55-yard drive with a nine-yard rushing touchdown, marking his fifth touchdown of the game and Ohio's final time scoring. With 29 seconds on the clock, Navarro took a knee and the Bobcats went into victory formation, solidifying their 41-21 win.

Conversation
Knave of Hearts: Relona, it is your turn.
Hunt: Hmm. Wed Bysmark.
Knave of Hearts: Mm-hmm.
Hunt: Not really interested in this part, but oh it's a toss-up... I guess Bed Primrose, Behead Reynolds-Greenwillow.
Knave of Hearts: Very fair. Primrose, our blushing bride, go ahead and what are your answers? I'm sorry, you do understand how the game works, don't you?
Marigold (OOC): Yeah, no, I was just looking at the names.
DM: No, this was not at your hesitation, this is the Knave being a dick.
Marigold: Oh.
DM: He's mean.
Tark (OOC): Ohh.
Marigold: Umm, Wed Carmilla, Bed Magpie, Behead Jerry.
Tark: Tark winks at Mary.
Jeremiah (OOC): Continued disrespect in this chat. No, I understand.
Knave of Hearts: And now of course, our dead man walking, Mr. Greenwillow.
Jeremiah: Well, I would... Am I allowed to use myself as an option?
Knave of Hearts: Sure, only once.
Jeremiah: Okay. I will Wed myself, I would Bed Relona. Nice green there baby.
Tark (OOC): Uhh.
Nathaniel (OOC): Ooh. Hmm.
Hunt: Hunt takes a big step away.
Jeremiah: And I would behead, well it's a toss-up between Primrose and Magpie. We'll settle with Magpie.
Knave of Hearts: Interesting answers all around. Audience, who is our Fan Favorite and who is our Fan Foe?
Audience Pip: Okay, so keeping track, I think obviously Jeremiah is the least favorite.
Tark (OOC): Yeah.
Audience Pip: Sorry Jeremiah, you fell from grace, that would be my vote. And then between I was oscillating it between the person who got the most Wed or Bed votes, but I think in the Feywild it's gotta be who fucks, so I think Nathaniel is my vote for Fan Favorite.
Tark (OOC): Yeah.
Nathaniel (OOC): It's the only game I've won!
Audience Isben: I concur with the logic.
Nathaniel (OOC): The only game I've won!
Marigold (OOC): Oh my god.
Nathaniel (OOC): It's the only one I've won!
Tark (OOC): I love it!
Hunt (OOC): Yeah.
DM: The logic concured by the crowd, majority rules; Jeremiah, you have fallen from their favor it seems.
Jeremiah (OOC): Sounds about right.
DM: Nathaniel
Nathaniel (OOC): Yep.
DM: You fuck.
Nathaniel (OOC): Great.
DM: You could fuck whomever you so choose it seems. It's working in your favor. Weirdest way for him to find out that he is.
Nathaniel (OOC): God. I fucked up is what happened 'cause I wanted him to be average and then I made him [something]

Why Fire Poi Cost More Than LED Poi
Why do fire poi cost more than LED poi on average? Turns out the answer is economies of scale and more specifically the ability to automate a process and the necessity for labor. james is originally from stockholm, sweden, more accurately, the little old town of galma stan! she is a swede through and through, but grew up in copenhagen from the age of six months to ten years old. she is the biological daughter of her father jeremiah and an unnamed surrogate, and is the adoptive daughter of her father christian. jeremiah is originally from the states, but moved to sweden on a work visa and this is where he met christian. jeremiah’s visa was extended about a year into their relationship, and they worked hard and saved up until they were able to afford having a surrogate. james was born shortly after their third anniversary, and after her tenth birthday is when james and christian gained their us citizenship.
she has three younger siblings: sebastian and serena, who are sixteen and fraternal twins, and the youngest, vivienne, who is thirteen. the twins are biologically christian’s and vivienne is biologically jeremiah’s.
as far as attending prince goes, it wasn’t exactly her first choice but it wasn’t her last choice either. she was going to go to a school in her home state, but was offered a volleyball scholarship at prince, so that ultimately finalized her decision. she’s always been one to have her hand in all of the cookie jars, which explains why she’s a double major in english and anthropology. in a sense, this is technically james’ fifth year as she could have graduated last year, but due to her double majoring, it adding on another year, so she graduates in the spring!
james is the kind of girl who likes to go with the flow, and do her own thing. being a student-athlete already consumes most of her time, so she tries to squeeze in having a social life as much as possible. she’s basically the girl who looks like a loner during the week but once she weekend hits then you might catch her throwing back shots like it’s nobody’s business.
she’s really nice, and sometimes like the girl next door at times. she’s really nice, will give you the shirt off her back even if it’s the last shirt that she owns. she hardly ever talks badly about someone, and if she does, then that person must have really done something to make her mad. she’s shy at times, and she can be oblivious to some things ( like flirting, it’s terrible ) and she can turn as red as a tomato at any time. it’s actually kind of funny to see, since is starts at the tips of her ears.
this story is quite long, but i’m going to give u the summarized version or eLSE we’d literally be watching a full episode of scooby doo. girl meets girl. james met a girl during her freshman year named liana ( whom i will not request as a wanted connection bc she’s Gross and i don’t want anyone to feel like they have to play someone Gross/she’s basically an npc ), but any who, liana was james’ first girlfriend and basically her first serious relationship. liana was nice and charismatic when they first met, things were great. as their relationship continued, about a year into it, liana turned really gross and was basically the worst girlfriend on the plant. ofc, on top of school and volleyball james also worked, but liana didn’t. liana had a habit of using james whenever they went out shopping, and she’d kinda deliberately get the most stuff and then spring the “omg, i left my wallet home!!” thing on james and being the sweetheart that she is, she’d buy her stuff bc well, that’s her girlfriend.
anyways, her girlfriend also didn’t like it whenever james mentioned that she found men attractive. liana is lesbian, but james is openly and proudly bisexual. so, whenever james would mention something even as minor as looking through a magazine and going “ryan reynolds looks so good blah blah” liana wouldn’t talk to her for like a week. she also didn’t like when james would go to hang out with guys ( girls as well, but mostly guys ) and would pitch a fit or mope around until james finally decided that she would just stay home. after about two years of dating, james and liana finALLY broke up when james discovered that liana was cheating with a girl that she knew from back home, and thus concludes the story of james & liana.
that basically brings up to where we are now, with james not really being the one to want anything that’s long-term. she’s not looking for a relationship and she’s terrible at flirting, so we’ll see how this goes lmfao. if something happens, then she’s not going to try and ruin it before it gets good, but she’s also not going to cry if something romantic doesn’t happen.
quick facts and then i’m almost done i swEAR:
back home she has a pomsky named dexter!
she doesn’t brush her hair sometimes because sometimes ( all the time ) she’s late
when she’s not studying or at practice, she works at phoenix diner
she hates the smell of lemon and will fight anyone who uses lemon pledge
she’s a huge nerd for the flash
and that’s everything! you can check out some connections here, her statistics page here, and since i’m extra, her pinterest is linked here! i can’t wait to plot with all of you and to get to know both you and your muse! <3
#prince:intro#⟨ *.:。 | regarding ↘ introduction. ⟩#pls plot w me i swear i'm Fun#biphobia tw#mental abuse tw#the mentions are kind of minor#i don't go into much detal but just to be safe :)#detail*

Who will throw to Christian Kirk?
War Eagle, everybody! It’s time now for another Auburn football preview! The Tigers take a bye in week 9 of the 2017 college football season, then head to College Station, Texas, to take on Texas A&M. On paper, this is a very favorable situation for Auburn. Texas A&M has been notorious the past 3 seasons for November slides, and this one will be played on November 4th. Seems Auburn typically plays the Aggies early or at midseason in Auburn, and isn’t ready. The College Station games have usually been played later in the year, and Auburn has come out on top both times. Auburn is widely expected to contend for the SEC West title this year, while lofty predictions such as that have been few and far between from the Aggie camp, where head coach Kevin Sumlin is reportedly on the “hot seat,” this season. I thought it was quite telling when Sumlin skipped the post-game press conference after the Aggie spring game.
This year, The Auburn Tigers will have opened the season with Georgia Southern, then traveled to Clemson. Auburn will then enjoy an early homecoming game against Mercer, before traveling to Missouri, prior to a home clash with Mississippi State. The Rebels follow at Jordan-Hare Stadium, the following week, before a road trip to LSU. Auburn then travels to Fayetteville to fight Arkansas, before a well-earned bye week. Texas A&M opens at the Rose Bowl, taking on UCLA. Home tuneups follow against Nichols State and Louisiana-Lafayette. The Aggies then head to Arlington Texas, to take on Arkansas. September finishes at home against South Carolina, then the first week of October, Alabama comes to College Station. The Aggies then travel to Florida, before a bye week on October 21st. Texas A&M finishes October hosting Mississippi State, before Auburn comes to town.
Every spring and summer since Texas A&M joined the SEC, it seems that there’s a question of who will start at quarterback in the coming fall, and this year is no different. There is a three way race once again this year, although my guess would be that as talented as he may be, the coaches will try to redshirt true freshman Kellen Mond. Mond appears to have the most upside of the candidates, but I can’t see an embattled head coach rolling the dice with a true freshman in the SEC West, unless there’s no choice. Mond and redshirt freshman Nick Starkel did make a play or three during the Aggie spring game, but also had long stretches where neither was very accurate. The most experienced candidate, senior Jake Hubenak, had only 47 passing yards on 13 attempts, and really didn’t try to throw it downfield.
The past couple of years, a list of Texas A&M receivers tended to make one’s eyes bug a bit, at the huge collection of talent and speed present. Names like Ricky Seals-Jones, Speedy Noil, Jeremy Tabuyo and Josh Reynolds kept defensive coaches awake at night. The coaches will sleep better this year, as all 4 guys are headed to the NFL. That said, junior Aggie receiver Christian Kirk is at the top of a lot of preseason all-star lists. Still, teams will double-cover Kirk, and try to pressure the Aggie quarterbacks, till it is proven dangerous to do so.
With a lot of unknowns in the passing game, I expect the Aggie offense to be more balanced, this season. The Aggies should have a solid offensive line, great running backs, and an emerging tight end group with a lot of promise. I expect the offense to start out featuring sophomore running back Trayveon Martin, who led the team in rushing last season with 1057 yards.
The defense took some massive blows during the off-season, and this was a unit that basically collapsed down the stretch last year. Star defensive ends Myles Garrett and Daeshon Hall headed to the NFL, and the top two tacklers in the back seven, Shaan Washington and Justin Evans are gone as well. A few weeks ago, it was revealed that junior starting cornerback Nick Harvey will miss the upcoming season after knee surgery. I did not see much in the Aggie spring game but cushion coverage. Still guys got open, and occasionally gashed the patchwork secondary. The Aggies do have a good starting defensive tackle rotation, but will have to find a lot of answers before the season begins in September.
The Aggie special teams were surprisingly decent last season, and with nearly every piece of the puzzle returning, I would not be surprised if the Aggies are great, this year. One thing that stood out to me was that Texas A&M returned 4 punts for touchdowns, 3 by Christian Kirk. The Tigers will have to punt away from him!
Unit matchups, after the jump!
Auburn defensive line vs. Texas A&M offensive line: Auburn brings a big, athletic defensive line back this season. Likely starters at tackle are junior Dontavius Russell and sophomore Derrick Brown. Sophomore strong-side end Marlon Davidson was a beast on A-Day. The buck side will likely be manned by a combination of junior Jeffery Holland and senior transfer Paul James III. Auburn has a good bit of depth behind the starters, as well. Texas A&M shuffled some pieces around this spring, moving sophomore Colton Prater to center. Former center Erik McCoy has been moved to left guard, after some high-snap issues last season. Junior Connor Lanfear at right guard should give the Aggies a solid interior line. At the tackle spots, junior Koda Martin should be solid on the left, and the Aggies will try junior Keaton Sutherland. Advantage: Even.
Auburn linebackers vs. Texas A&M backs: The Auburn Tigers have a good cross-trained quartet of upper echelon SEC-caliber linebackers. Junior Deshaun Davis, senior Tre’ Williams, junior Darrell Williams and junior Montravious Atkinson can play all three positions, and we might see any combination of these players out on the field at a given time. Sophomore Trayveon Williams headlines this group, and he’ll be spelled by senior journeyman Keith Ford. Last year, a tired Auburn defense gave up a late 89 yard run to Trayveon Williams. Before that, the defense had held Williams and Ford to 66 rushing yards on 19 carries. Advantage: Auburn.
Auburn corners vs. Texas A&M receivers: Auburn has a fairly good combination of starting corners, in junior Carlton Davis and sophomore Javaris Davis. The Tigers are hoping that Jamel Dean will be healthy this fall, as he is one of the fastest players on the team. Sophomore Jeremiah Dinson could move over from nickelback, if needed. Last season, Auburn blanketed star A&M receiver Christian Kirk, allowing him only 22 yards on 5 catches, and figures to again. The Aggies once again do have some top-end talent at wide receiver, but none of it is proven. After strong springs, we’ll pencil in senior Damion Ratley, redshirt freshman Quartney Davis and sophomore transfer Kirk Merritt in on the outside. Advantage: Auburn.
Auburn safeties vs. Texas A&M secondary receivers and quarterback: Auburn’s starting unit features seniors Tray Matthews and Stephen Roberts at safety, and sophomore Jeremiah Dinson at nickel back. There’s not much depth here, beyond senior Nick Ruffin, who’ll probably see as much playing time as the starters. The Tigers are solid here, as long as no one gets hurt. In the slot, Texas A&M is young, with freshman Jharmon Ausbon and redshirt freshman Clyde Chriss showing during the spring game. Senior tight end Kalvin Cline and sophomore Aaron Hansford are solid blockers, and are an emerging threat in the passing game. Advantage: Auburn.
Punting: Sophomore Ian Shannon will likely get the nod as Auburn’s starting punter, after a couple of years of waiting in the wings. Shannon has looked good on A-Day a year ago, in warmups. The Tigers gave up only 19 punt return yards last season, on 6 punts, for a stifling 3.2 yards per return. The Tigers are still auditioning for the punt returner job. It’s thought that senior Stephen Roberts has the inside track, after returning 6 punts last season for 100 yards. Senior punter Shane Tripucka was good for the Aggies last season, averaging 42.9 yards per punt. Texas A&M gave up 5.2 yards per return. In the return department, Christian Kirk was electric, averaging 21.69 yards per return on 13 returns. Teams really didn’t want to kick it to him, as the season progressed. Advantage: Texas A&M.
Kickoffs: Daniel Carlson was very good kicking off last season, notching 57 touchbacks on 72 kickoffs. When Auburn did allow returns, opponents averaged only 18.0 yards per return. Junior Kerryon Johnson is Auburn’s most experienced return man returning, and he averaged 22.2 yards per return last season. Few kickers can come even close to Carlson’s ability to kick touchbacks, but the Aggies have sophomore Braden Mann, who booted 55 touchbacks on 76 kickoffs. Texas A&M gave up 19.8 yards per return. The Aggies were also one of the better kick return teams in the SEC last season, averaging 23.6 yards per return, although the leader, Justin Evans is gone. I would expect Trayveon Williams and Christian Kirk to spend time here this season, and the Aggies will be just as explosive. Advantage: Texas A&M.
Place kicking: Auburn sophomore Daniel Carlson is the man for Auburn. Carlson was 28 of 32 on field goals, and perfect on extra points. One of Carlson’s misses was a block by Vanderbilt. Texas A&M returns junior kicker Daniel LaCamera, who hit on 17 of 24 field goal attempts. Advantage: Auburn.
Auburn offensive line vs. Texas A&M defensive line: It’s still not settled who’ll start for Auburn on the line, although the starters looked pretty good on A-Day. It seems the tackle spots are set, with seniors Darius James and Braden Smith. Senior Austin Golson will likely start at center, although Auburn is bringing in senior transfer center Casey Dunn from Jax State. If Dunn starts, Golson could move to guard. Also transferring in this fall is former Florida State starting guard Wilson Bell. Bell is expected to start at one of the guard spots. If Dunn does not beat Golson out, the other likely starting guard would be sophomore Mike Horton. The Aggies return some beef in the middle, led by senior Zaycoven Henderson, and junior Kingsley Keke, who appears to be on the verge of breaking out as a star. Junior Daylon Mack provides depth. Defensive end is a work in progress. Our guess at the end of spring is seniors Jarrett Johnson and Qualen Cunningham will hang in as starters with some experience. Behind those two, JUCO transfer Michael Clemons is expected to contribute early. Beyond that, things get thin. Advantage: Auburn.
Auburn backs vs. Texas A&M linebackers: Auburn features junior H-back Chandler Cox blowing open holes. Running behind the big H-back will be massive junior Kamryn Pettway, and the shifty junior Kerryon Johnson in reserve. The Aggies do return some talent at linebacker, but much of it is unproven. The depth chart right now looks like either junior Otaro Alaka or sophomore Tyrel Dodson in the middle, with junior Richard Moore and freshman Anthony Hines outside. Depending on whether Dodson starts, or Hines doesn’t live up to his billing, Alaka could move to an outside linebacker spot. Advantage: Auburn.
Auburn receivers vs. Texas A&M: At the end of spring, it looked like Auburn’s two starting outside guys were sophomore Nate Craig-Myers and sophomore Darius Slayton. Both guys can fly, have good height, and great hands. Redshirt freshman Marquis McClain had a great A-Day, and is someone to watch out for on the outside, as well. Texas A&M was shaky at corner last season, and is now down a starter. Senior Priest Willis will start at one spot. The other side is a guessing game. I’m guessing we will see sophomores Charles Oliver and Roney Elam. Advantage: Auburn.
Auburn secondary receivers and quarterback vs. Texas A&M safeties: Auburn has potential threats here, starting with wickedly fast junior slot receiver Will Hastings. Sophomore Eli Stove can also fly. Tight ends Jalen Harris and Sal Cannella are expected to be a big part of the passing game as well. Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham is likely the starter. In 6 games as a freshman at Baylor, Stidham was electric. That trend continued during A-Day this spring, as Stidham was deadly accurate, and showed great mobility. Texas A&M is fairly strong at safety, and should be able to be a big help against the run. Seniors Armani Watts and Donovan Wilson have been around the block, and are very capable. Watts is the leader of the defense. Advantage: Even.
Every SEC team suffers attrition though a tough schedule, and is limping a bit in spots, by November. Both Auburn and Texas A&M the past 5 seasons have stumbled in November in recent years, so it’s hard for me to see any advantage, there. Likely, this game will feature a couple of programs going in opposite directions. If either team doesn’t win most of its games coming into this contest, the result will likely be lopsided.
On paper, I like Auburn’s chances. Auburn seems to be set at most spots, and where there are questions, it is typically because Auburn has really good options still competing. There are several spots on the Texas A&M starting lineup where they are still trying to find SEC-caliber players to plug in. On the other hand, Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin has been known to field dangerous offenses over the years, no matter who he has to plug in at midseason.
Prediction: A rested Auburn team takes on an Aggie team that has a brutal October, with Alabama, MSU and Florida. Auburn has too much on both lines of scrimmage for the Aggies. Tigers win it, 27-13.

Much trouble with this site.
Try to get my head into the music we are playing later in the week.
In the news. Police protection for New Orleans statues of Lee, Jeff Davis, Beauregard. Police cars surround these statues after locals, despite much pleading from the mayor, want to take sledge hammers to them.
Having read this, so many memories of New Orleans. A Pimm’s Cup at the Napoleon House, the food, the music not so much (though people still go there to hear it). Not enough minor, too much major. Never cared for Dixieland.

It’s always something. My little phone rings but I cannot pick up. Mysterious. A message stating that my mailbox is full. I have, I think, lost the detailed, thick, booklet that came with the phone. I pull myself together and take the phone to the local A T and T place. After a wait (and horrible music) the nice lady helps me erase messages from my mailbox (that I didn’t know existed and had no clue they were being stored). Little snippets before hitting the key that expunges them... A recent history of my life...
Meet Glen at Carnegie Hall. The Philly orchestra. They begin the Bernstein’s “Jeremiah” and I remember my first hearing of it and, later, getting to play it a couple of times. This symphony a remarkable achievement for a very young L Bernstein. After the Mozart, Radu Lupu towering over the diminutive conductor, young Maestro Seguin, as they leave the stage together, the pair of them looking like a rabbi and his acolyte. Schumann Second Symphony. The conductor without baton or score.
Glen and I go to Reynolds. Having skipped some meals (for no good reason) the food tastes particularly good. The draft beer ambrosial. Glen and I get caught up a little.

More trouble with my cell phone. And I thought it was solved. I go again to A T and T. After much exploration it is decided that an app is preventing my being able to answer the phone. It is gotten rid of (I have no idea how I acquired it) and things work again. I go back home and touch up a piece for tonight’s class. The last class. The class will continue but I will be immersed in music. Time to go back to work.
Interesting class. My piece passable. Given the right circumstances I might be able to expand on it.
