Thank you 🙏 🖤 and I do rig full time. I have my own sites that I do the rigging and filming for (I’m better at videos than photos tbh) and up until recently I was also the house rigger for reflectivedesire.com (the company is moving states and I am remaining where I am so I might still travel to rig for them in the future but that’s still a bit unclear at the moment.) I also sometimes teach weekend intensives with my partner and also do private sessions where I function as a service top. I am privileged to do what I love full time but it also barely pays the bills 😅 I’m hoping to finish up my own site soon and maybe even help do the rigging for other companies as well. Time will tell

6. "Don't move, you're still hurt." 17. "Can you hear me?"

Consciousness slams into Tim like a breaking wave. It knocks the breath from his lungs and leaves him spluttering, gasping for breath—an instant mistake, because painpainpain explodes in his chest so hard he nearly passes out again.

"Whoa, Rob, chill out! Don't you dare move. You're still hurt!"

Kon, Tim thinks woozily, trying his hardest to blink the stars from his vision. He can't breathe from the agony. But he... he needs to protect Kon. A vague sense of impending doom floats through his mind, something green, something...

A tower. Why is he thinking of a tower? And blood. So much blood.

He has to protect Kon—

He can't move. He tries to sit up again and he can't move. A gentle but immovable pressure surrounds his whole body, keeping him in place, and he can't move. Panic floods him. He needs to protect Kon and he can't move and—

"Dammit, Rob, I said keep still! Can you hear me?"

...Oh. For the first time, Tim realizes that there's a reason that "blinking the stars out of his vision" didn't work. He never actually opened his eyes.

With effort, he forces his eyelids up, squinting against the dust in the air. He coughs. Pain lances through his chest.

Kon swears under his breath. He's—he's here? He's not hurt? He's... crouching in the rubble, bodily shielding Tim, and... and he's okay. He isn't bleeding, his body is whole and not twisted and broken and bloodied, and... and...

Emotion wells up in Tim's chest, underneath all the pain. He clears his throat and rasps, "Kon?"

"Hey, hot stuff." Kon flashes him a quick smile. "Hold still. You've got four broken ribs. Maybe a concussion too. Hard to say this soon, but..."

Oh. That would explain why breathing hurts. Tim squints up at Kon, then around him, trying to figure out where everyone else went. Weren't they fighting some... guy? Guys? Some Intergang guys... Right, and they were armed with Apokoliptian, um... thingies. And...

Now Tim remembers the reason for "green". Someone had a Kryptonite-tipped rifle round. Musta paid a fortune to Luthor to get that, or else they were doing the bastard a favor. Ugh...

"Your spine isn't damaged, thankfully," Kon continues. He tilts his head and narrows his eyes off into the distance, listening to something Tim can't hear, watching something Tim can't watch, and then looks back down to Tim. "Okay. Coast is clear. I'm gonna get you to the hospital."

Hospital? Eh. Everyone knows broken ribs just need a few weeks of rest. Tim grunts. "Hn. 'M fine."

Kon gives him the flattest look known to mankind. "You need a CT scan to check if you have a concussion. Also, need I remind you, four broken ribs?"

He exhales shortly, raking a hand through his hair; he only does that when he's stressed. He rests his hand on Tim's hip, and suddenly they're both floating into the air. It's odd, because Tim is still laid out flat and can't actually move, but he's used to Kon by now.

Still, though. "S'only flesh wounds." He just needs to sleep it all off. It's fine. They can watch Monty Python while he rests.

Kon, though, doesn't seem to appreciate the humor. The sky is a brilliant blue around him; the wind whips his ponytail around his face. He looks unimpressed. "Tim, your suit might be made of kevlar 'n' stuff, but it's not made to stop rifle rounds! Seriously, what were you thinking?"

Tim frowns. Isn't it obvious what he was thinking? "Had to protect you."

Kon stares at him for a long moment, flying effortlessly towards Metropolis General Hospital without even having to look. Several emotions flicker through his eyes too fast for Tim's dazed mind to follow, until finally he sighs, rakes his free hand through his hair again, and mutters, "What am I gonna do with you?"

That's another question with an obvious answer. Tim grunts again. "Mmph. Cherish and love me forever. Duh."

This time, he wins—Kon smiles despite himself, shaking his head as he starts descending towards the hospital rooftop. "Yeah, okay," he says, and leans down to brush his lips to Tim's dusty cheek. "Guess I'm okay with that."

Tim smiles.

thinking abt dukexiety again so i am here to share one of my favorite silly headcanons :D

remus has throwing knives and has pretty good aim, which he uses for evil against virgil, who has shitty aim. specifically, he just throws pillows at virgil like. all the time from across the room and manages to hit him in the face almost every time. virgil will throw them back at remus and try to hit him in the face but that's a lot rarer. virgil will glare at remus, who just cackles and blows his boyfriend a kiss. virgil, secretly, thinks this is a very funny thing that they do, and remus, secretly, knows that virgil finds it funny, which is why he does it so often.

If it was a miracle for Ford being able to go to a college back then, did you really think that would be easy for Stan, that didn't have a high school diploma and probably even his social security card, to find a job? Question, I'm planning to go with a friend to the Superman movie, but I don't know which comic to recommend so she can get a solid idea of the character and his role, because the only one I'm reading right now is about the death of Superman because I'm a fucking masochist (and I'm stuck because I'm rewatching an op arc, hell, I'll never get anywhere like this). honestly the dc fandom's problem is that they don't actually engage at all with the canon. which is insane to me like why are u in the dc comics tags then but 😭 also im so sorry people do that over there too. alas...

as for superman comics!!! firstly the death of superman YIPPEEEEE!! that's in my opinion like one of, if not THE best, storylines dc has ever produced. i hope you're liking it!! <3

re: introductory superman comics, here's a reading list i like :) and then my personal favorite recommendations would probably be:

superman: birthright, for a sort of introduction and origin story for superman in the modern era

superman smashes the klan for some history and a lot of superman immigrant metaphors and feelings (also it just goes hard. fuck them up superman)

superman for all seasons for some looks at him from different narrators who love him :)

superman: up in the sky for that kind of larger-than-life "who is superman and why does he inspire so many people" vibe. i really do love this story.

and finally, action comics #792 is my favorite single-issue superman story of all time. it's self-contained and you don't really need any knowledge other than, like, "superman is clark kent who is married to lois lane and they work at the daily planet". and it's soooo good augh

Maybe Eddie being thinner in the beginning was because of his living conditions/mental health and now that he’s in a better place he’s gained some healing weight?

His health is horrible at the beginning for many reasons. His mental health and environment is definitely a big part. I don't know how much I want to say because Ed's backstory is up next and I don't want to explain something that will get explained in a much more interesting way later. At the start of Interrobang he's been on his own for a while and really struggling to survive. He's all alone and left to navigate himself without any help. He's trying his best to take care of himself but doesn't completely know how or have the resources to.

Ed very closely associates food and love because of how he grew up. When he lived with his grandmother she would make sure he was well fed. She was someone who grew up poor and had to deal with food scarcity, so she makes sure the people she loves never have to deal with that. His father doesn't love him and hardly ever fed him. So to Ed, his weight is a reflection of how much he is loved. When he's living with Jo, he starts being cared for. Jo isn't very good about showing affection but he does use cooking as a form of affection. So Ed can look at himself while he's gaining weight and physically see that he's being loved again. That he's not alone anymore. That he's in a much better place than he was before. Sometimes it's hard to tell how much Jo really cares about him, but he can always look at himself and remember that Jo really does love him.
