#answering these old asks feel like im the auto message on hold music

I've been really interested in your joml au for a while now but I'm having a hard time figuring it all out. Is there an actual storyline to it and if so what is it? How does Pi Mo fit into it? What DOES Stan actually do during those 30 years? Does he make friends with the supernatural? Cause when I go looking for stuff regarding this au I usually just get Omen - which don't get me wrong, I ADORE Omen - but I'd like to know the rest that goes along with it. Please?

AAHH i do want to make an opening comic for the au (even started drafting it), but oof that depends on the motivation juices. 

So will try to answer what you asked best i can (and by that i mean what i can remember off the top off my head)-

Yes there is. It revolves around the Pines discovering a journal that was written by Grunkle Stan, who doesn’t remember doing so because of the finale events. The gang uncover what Stan went through those 30 years at Gravity Falls and him regaining some of those memories. Old enemies, friends, secrets, the whole lot. 30 years is a long time.

As Stan takes up pretending to be his brother. So do others mistaken him to be Stanford. Especially some pissed supernatural creatures. However, Stanley discovering from this the more strangeness of Gravity Falls and Stanley being Stanley was able to strike a solution.

”Let me make up for my brother’s actions” and he became a sort of middle man. Between the human world and supernatural creatures. Doing odd jobs, requests, obtaining stuff etc (hey i want to order 56 cans of monster soda, but i live in a tree, so let me use the Shack’s address).

And overtime, Stanley gets a pretty good hang of handling the supernatural stuff. Getting on friendly terms with some supernatural residents. Discovering some hidden ones among the town’s citizens. Getting stuff from them and maybe they even gift him with when he helps them out. Which helps inspire new attractions at the Mystery Shack.

Then something happened. Maybe they learn that Stanley is rebuilding the Portal or was it something else? That soured things between the supernatural and Stanley. Maybe because of the years that Stanley helped them, they give him a warning and that he is no longer welcome etc. And promise there will be dire consequences if he reactivates the portal.

Stanley, even though been cut off, still interacts with a few residents that stay in contact with him and is on good terms with. All that is thrown out of Stanley’s head after the final plus any other memories.

Then a year later when everyone is back in Gravity falls. The journal is found hidden inside the canvas frame of a sad clown painting. A grim appears out of nowhere and is happily wagging its tail at Stanley. Stanford gets captured to be judged by a supernatural council of Gravity Falls for his actions and why are we just now spotting spiral patterns scattered everywhere.

Pi Mo fits in this story by slowly manifesting in Gravity Falls some time after Bill’s destruction of their universe and the all the demons. Pi is just at a pinch of their power levels and needs to recover before confronting Bill. At some point Pi comes across Stan. Stuff happens (I also want to draw a comic that goes into that) and they make a promise (which is Pi mo’s Jam. What is the promise? A mystery) and Pi Mo comes and goes over the years while regaining her powers and is like hanging around, dropping random stuff, fun shenanigans etc.

When the summer comes that the twins are sent to Gravity Falls. Stanley asks Pi to buzz off until the kids leave. Less on trying to keep the level of supernatural lower and more of Pi would annoy and tease Stanley over his grand nibbles. So they go and do their own stuff, then come back and hmmm well. All that sure did happen. Then the JOML story happens and then things get really interesting.

Might shift and develop the au more over time. Highly likely i will loop back to Gravity Falls again in the future and also get to some of the things i have sitting in my WIP folder >;3c
