hi everyone know i've been MIA the past few days but i've been busy full on sobbing in my car listening to the audiobook of walk two moons as i drive entirely across the country from the pacific to the atlantic

#it was one of my favorites growing up and given i was doing my own cross country drive i wanted to revisit it #there is a lot that is certainly dated re: indigeneity and the ways in which they talk about native experiences and culture which is #unfortunate but i'm glad i revisited it and it definitely still made me laugh/cry/reminded me very much of reading it in fourth grade #another audio/book that i adored growing up was the watsons go to birmingham — 1963
