The Mun’s Interpretation || Still Accepting!✦ Has your own interpretation changed from when you first began playing the character?

[[ Yes, definitely.

I’ve been working on a very long and involved HoND fanfic for quite some time now and I’m rewriting it because my blog has made me more sensitive to how Quasi is.

I realized that he’s a sarcastic little fuck and that made me so freaking happy.  He’s just the kind of guy who will smile to your face but when you’re walking away later you go “WAIT, WTF.”  I think that part of Quasimodo is SO FREAKING IMPORTANT because too often, Quasi’s true character gets lost in a muddled shadow of timidness and embarrassment.

Yes, he’s shy upon first meeting, but if the person proves that he can trust them, he will usually start to let his guard down.  But when meeting new people, he can’t help but to turn back to that terrified state.  After all, in that time period “monsters” [ as they often called people with disabilities, or in his case, deformities ] were not given any chance at all.  They were usually killed.  The fact that he had been able to live out 20+ years was amazing in itself, which is why people were so incredibly distraught upon first glance of him because they truly never did see anyone like him.

But yes, TLDR; 

My interpretation is definitely changing every day and with every interaction.  I love being able to bring out sasshole Quasi because he’s so ridiculously funny, ie:Movie-  Esme- “You’ve done this before?”Quasi- “No.” :]Quasi- “What?  What am I supposed to do?! Go out there and rescue the girl from... From the jaws of death and the whole town will cheer like I’m some kind of hero?!”

Phoebus- “Truce?”Quasi- “Well... Okay.”  :] /Beats the ever loving fuck out of him

 And if he gets comfortable around a muse, you can bet your ass that they’ll be on the receiving end of that. Haha. ]]

The Tightrope of Fire || Closed Starter

Riley grinned as he had shocked the crowd with yet another magic trick. He had made himself disappear behind a box, only to reappear behind the entire crowd. When he made his way back to the stage, the applause seemed thunderous, making him laugh as he waved to them all. Oh how he enjoyed living in the circus... The people were so easy to impress, though the tricks themselves weren’t always as easy as they appeared to come across, if anyone could figure them out that it. It involved a lot of running and precise timing.

As his act finished up, Riley cleaned himself up and started around the circus, waving to his friends that worked at a few booths. His eyes fell upon a tent, eventually, when he had wandered that far. Usually, he wouldn’t have noticed a single thing, except... There seemed to be a voice coming from this one.

Curiously, he looked inside.

“Hello?”

☆ - What type of fantasy AU would you like to do one day?Ironically enough, I don’t have more than a couple of threads set on Kayley’s main/movie verse, and I’d love to get to do something in that setting     perhaps with a historical character or a mystical creature of sorts (but I’m good with any muse, really, I just need to give my main verse more love).Other than that, I’d love to try a thread set in the world of The Infernal Devices (and The Mortal Instruments as well, but I like TID better). I’d probably make Kayley a Shadowhunter and I’d just love to explore that side of her.

Situation: On a bus trip without many other passengers.

Sentence: “Ouch! That hurt!”

**I decided to change this from a bus to a train to fit with canon events.**

Neal Cassidy had left Phoenix, Arizona after grabbing a case full of expensive watches. The jewelry shop owner was a drunk and he had a habit of leaving the case unlocked. Neal had resisted twice, but this time he’d been unable to withstand the temptation. 

The seriousness of what he’d done had hit him as soon as he’d done it. Yes, the guy was a drunk, but the security camera wasn’t. Neal’s face would be plastered on Wanted posters all over the state. Which was why he was now on a train headed for Portland, Oregon. He was planning to stash the watches in a locker at the train station. Then, he’d figure out what the hell to do next.

He was fortunate that this train was practically deserted. Most people didn’t travel this way, he supposed. Setting the duffel bag behind him, as he didn’t trust it not to get stolen, even with no one really around, he closed his eyes for a few minutes, trying to get a bit of rest. Next thing he knew, he felt a stabbing pain. “Ouch! That hurt!”
