mer suguru being baffled by human clothes. as a merman, he's never really worn clothes his entire life and doesn't really see the appeal.

he also doesn't understand why it's such a big deal for humans, one time he crawls into the bathroom while y/n is showering and is confused at y/n freaking out and covering themself with the shower curtain 😂

ok but this ask made a scenario pop into my head…….. what if ……………. reader takes a bath w mer!sugu. i alr have a whole scene planned out where they’re swimming in the ocean but like imagine reader is having a rough day and just needs to be Held and sugu is like ….. well. hugging is good for relieving stress. (he says it very scientifically bc it’s literally just a Fact that’s true for merfolk too but it makes reader giggle anyway)…. and then they end up in the tub together and sugu just kinda cradles them. like they’re a little baby seal. :((( sighh he’s such a sweetie …….
