I probably won’t be able to get to them until I’m out of school in a couple weeks, but if anyone would want to send an small introduction message to Merry in fallen london…

They’re a silverer, so you can just use the fact that they have that job as an excuse to get in contact with them. Like… have trouble with nightmares? Need someone to guarantee a safe passage through parabola? Need a certain dream set up for you?

Just assume your pc got a business card in the mail or found one of their engraved tokens they like to leave in places they frequent.

That’s how I had some friends’ characters introduce themselves, so it’s a good intro. Plus can help flesh out your character as well by figuring out what they’d need with a silverer’s services.

(Search up the username “anomalybeans”. The name will be merpderpcat because this account is old as fuck and still has my old username as the name. And I made this account before I even had a character in mind… back in like… high school. Eventually I might buy fate just to change the name

Note that Merry uses they/them and is referred to in-game as silverer, but in my writing they use the title Mx.)

Really it's not the holiday itself that Merry doesn't like, it just happens to coincide with a horrible event in Merry's life.

For the short version; Merry met a man during one of the masquerade balls held during this holiday, one who they found charming at first and asked them on a date. Several in fact.

But really these dates were all a ruse to lure them in and get their trust so that this man could then betray said trust and steal something from them.

But if you want more of said story, I have a fic you can read about it!
