this gave me dark pandalily au vibes for obvious reasons જ⁀➴ pandora is very cryptic, eerily perceptive and much smarter than most people around her think // lily is tenacious, brave, intelligent— competently so— and has this thing about her that makes her untraceable // imagining them in an au where pandora is a vigilante in her hometown and lily is a murderer on the run // lily finds out about pandora very early on and takes an interest in her and her odd way of dealing with people // she doesn’t go straight for the kill — pandora haunts (yes, not hunts) people, gets into their heads, drives them mad, and then uses her bow and arrow to finish them off while they’re pleading her to make it stop // lily had seen it and become fascinated // when they meet, a meeting orchestrated very well by none other than lily herself, there’s taunting and constant flirting, there’s fire and ice // it’s the first time pandora lets a murderer get out of her grasp unscathed // it’s also the first time lily feels her heart quicken its pace for anything other than the thrill of murder

was looking for a modern au pandalily fic where they’re both students in one of the most prestigious schools in london and subsequently fall in love, as they should. i didn’t find one, though. so i’m creating it. because what is a silly writer without her ideas and creations? mind you, it will bend and shift because i am an everchanging being and so is my art ✶

alternative universe ⋆ marlene mckinnon is a reckless, guarded, dark-spirited princess. hatred, slashing throats and being on the kingdom’s front lines when the war came about, at merely seventeen years old, a sword at hand. she wasn’t exactly evil. one wouldn’t say that. however, she had every intention of making her life mean something, even if she had to bend the rules a little bit. and being crown princess had many of those. at the age of twenty-two, though, it was a different story. people believe war turns something off in you. in marlene, it turned something on. hatred. pure hatred. cruelty. repulsion towards goodness.

that is until she reunites with pandora rosier. pandora, who was about to be crowned queen of her own kingdom. pandora, who was betrothed to a man whom she barely even knew — a man who had shown very little interest in knowing her either. pandora, who marlene had been friends with up until they were thirteen. pandora, the oh-so-perfect example of how a princess should be. pandora, who was marlene’s first crush. pandora, who was marlene’s worst enemy; marlene’s weakness.

OR an alternative universe where marlene is in denial about her feelings for pandora. oh, and they’re princesses. dorcas as a gateway between marlene and pandora. also, dorlene briefly comes by because, two very secretly gay princesses couldn’t possibly be friends and keep their hands off of each other. just an au where marlene goes a little too crazy for her childhood best friend, and somehow, nemesis.

note ! navigating rarepairs. started at pandalene because i fear they’re far too interesting to not navigate at all. also, the messy factor that there’d be because pandora stirs up all these feelings inside marlene that she thought were off limits for her, all the while she’s enjoying her royal rendezvous with princess meadowes. noting this is all in my head. do not be mean or i will hex you (code for curse you the fuck out of my blog), xo
