So..song fic. Here we go. Song: Dinner and Diatribes by Hozier
Here are the main lyrics that really go with the idea!:
-Dinner and diatribes, I knew it from the first look of, The look of mischief in your eyes.
-I'd suffer Hell if you'd tell me, What you'd do to me tonight, Tell me, Tell me, Tell me, ah
-Honey, I laugh when it sinks in, A pillar I am of pride, Scarcely can speak for my thinking, What you'd do to me tonight, Now that the evening is slowing, Now that the end is in sight, Honey, it's easier knowing, What you'd do to me tonight
----------- -----------
The general idea for this fic is having like being in the middle of a very intense dinner party with tons of people all around, talking and watching. So ocv Anni and the others are forced to attend another one of Enid's fancy dinners and Enid loves to invite lots of people. So they all go to sit down, most of the guests are already there and Anni sits right in front of this one man that she is all too familiar with. Zane. Zane has his usual assassin outfit on, the hood, the mask over his mouth and she can just see his eyes and the look he gives her, especially when he takes off his mask and she can see his glowing red eyes and smirk. She knows that this is going to be a hellish night. When the dinner starts, all Zane has to do is look at Anni in a seductive way and suddenly her world is spinning and her body starts to heat up, its from Zane's influence.
Anni tries getting up to leave, but two of Enid's servants stop her and Enid shoots her a look. So she is forced to stay and endure Zane's torture. Someone even tries talking to Anni and Zane won't shut up in her head.
"Darling, someone is talking to you. Wouldn't want to be rude and keep them waiting, now would you?"
"Oh sorry, am I distracting you, honey?
Anni is embarrassed, flustered and pissed. Maybe one of the others notice and they ask if she's okay...
(Feel free to add or change anything. If you have any questions about Zane then feel free to ask and I also recommend watching the music video for inspo and ideas if you need it!)

Honey this club here is stuck up
Dinner and Diatribes.
Anni took a deep breath as she stepped into Enid's opulent mansion, adorned with chandeliers and gilded frames on the walls. She was used to these fancy dinner parties by now, but that didn't make them any less intimidating. Enid, their Goddess and host for the evening, loved to show off her wealth and connections, and always invited a crowd of wealthy and influential people. Anni and the other proxies were expected to attend as well, to add to the ambiance and make Enid look good.
As Anni made her way to the dining room, she could hear the chatter and laughter of the guests already seated at the long table. She saw a few familiar faces, some she had met on previous occasions, but most were strangers to her. She tried not to make eye contact with anyone as she made her way to her seat, but she couldn't help but notice the man seated directly in front of her. Zane.
I knew well from our first hookup
The look of mischief in your eye
Your friends are a fate that befell me
Zane was a fellow assassin, and he and Anni had worked together on a few jobs in the past. They had a complicated history, to say the least. Anni tried to ignore him, focusing instead on the elaborate place settings and the food being served. But she could feel his eyes on her, and it made her flustered— uncomfortable even.
Zane was dressed in his usual assassin outfit, all black with a few weapons hidden in various pockets. Anni couldn't help but wonder why he felt the need to wear that to a dinner party, but she knew better than to ask. Zane was unpredictable, and she didn't want to say or do anything that could set him off.
Hell is the talking type
I'd suffer hell if you'd tell me
What you'd do to me tonight
As the dinner started, Anni tried to keep her head down and focus on her food. But then she felt it, that familiar sensation of heat and spinning. She looked up and saw Zane, sitting across from her, looking at her with his seductive gaze. Anni tried to resist, but she knew that Zane had a way of getting under her skin.
"Dinner is quite something, isn't it?" Zane said, his voice low and smooth. She ignored his words, but it only egged him on. "Darling, someone is talking to you. Wouldn't want to be rude and keep them waiting, now would you?"
Tell me
Tell me
Tell me
Anni tried to focus on the conversation, but she couldn't shake the feeling that Zane was watching her every move. She felt like she was under a spell, and she knew that it was from Zane's influence. She tried to get up to leave, but two of Enid's servants stopped her. Anni could feel Enid's eyes on her, and she knew that she was trapped.
That's the kinda love
I've been dreaming of
As the night wore on, Anni became more and more uncomfortable. The other guests were drinking heavily and getting louder, and she was starting to feel claustrophobic. She tried to make small talk with the people around her, but she was distracted by Zane's presence. He was watching her, always watching her. She could feel his gaze, lingering all over her body. It was uncomfortably hot.
That's the kinda love
I've been dreaming of
Anni couldn't take it anymore. She needed to get out of there. She stood up and tried to make her way to the door once again, but the servants blocked her path— annoyed to see her try to leave again.
"Leaving so soon, Anni?" One of Enid's snarky servants questioned, her voice laced with venom. Anni tried to explain that she wasn't feeling well, but the servant wasn't having it. She ordered Anni to sit back down and finish her meal. Anni was trapped, and she knew that there was no way out.
As the night dragged on, Anni felt like she was in a nightmare. She was surrounded by people she didn't know, and she couldn't escape. And worst of all, she was under Zane's spell, unable to think clearly or act on her own. She knew that this was going to be a long, long night. The way his eyes occasionally dragged to her, practically begging for her to just come near him— it only darkened the blush in her face.
Honey I laugh when it sinks in
A pillar, I am upright
As the meal progressed, Anni found herself getting more and more anxious. The conversation around the table was focused on wealth and power, things that Anni had little interest in. She felt out of place, like a fish out of water. She tried to contribute to the conversation when she could, but she felt like her opinions were dismissed or ignored— but that was delusional thinking, considering everything she said came out in incoherent mumbles that both Kellin and Vince couldn't seem to understand.
Scarcely can speak for my thinking what
You'd do to me tonight
Zane, however, seemed to be right at home. He was charming and witty, and the other guests seemed to hang on his every word. Anni couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy— his charismatic attitude was something she wished for. She didn't want to admit it, but she was still attracted to him, despite everything that had happened between them.
Now that the evening is slowing
Now that the end's in sight
As dessert was being served, Enid stood up to make a toast. Anni braced herself for another long speech about Enid's accomplishments and wealth, but instead, Enid surprised everyone by announcing that she was possibly inviting a new candidate to her empire and passing on the majority of the responsibility to her proxies. Anni couldn't believe it. This was a huge opportunity for her, but it also meant that she would be working even more closely with Zane.
As the other guests congratulated Enid and began to filter out of the dining room, Anni felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Zane standing behind her, a small smile on his lips.
"Congratulations, Anni," he said. "Looks like we'll be working together more closely from now on. I definitely wouldn't mind that," His eyes once again dragged across her figure, this time a gloved hand gently pushed a strand of hair behind her ear— before he leaned in to whisper, "Not at all.."
Now that the end's in sight
Honey, it's easier knowing what
You'd do to me tonight
Anni tried to keep her cool, but her heart was racing. She wasn't sure if she was ready for this. But as she looked around the opulent dining room, surrounded by all these wealthy and powerful people, she knew that she had to step up. She was a proxy now, and she had to prove herself worthy of the title. She practically shoves him away, before flipping him off, and marching back to the only people she was familiar with.
Tell me
Tell me
Tell your man
Anni takes a deep breath and tries to calm herself down. She can feel her heart racing, and she knows she needs to get a grip. She looks around the ballroom and takes in the stunning decor. The walls are draped in rich fabrics in shades of red and gold, while the chandeliers sparkle with thousands of crystals. The room is filled with people dressed in their finest clothes, chatting and laughing over glasses of champagne.
That's the kinda love
I've been dreaming of
Anni takes a sip of her own champagne and tries to focus on the conversation around her. She's here with Varrick, the demonic man who had loved her for several years, and similarly didn't wanna attend this stupid party. Though, Varrick is a successful musician, and he's always involved in some philanthropic endeavor or another— especially since it would look good on Enid's reputation. Anni secretly loved that about him, but she can't help feeling a little out of place in this world of glamour and wealth.
That's the kinda love
I've been dreaming of
As she looks around the room, she catches sight of Zane again. He's standing in a corner, surrounded by a group of people who seem to hang on his every word. Anni can't help but feel a little envious of his effortless charisma. She knows he's one of the most skilled assassins in the world, but he's also incredibly charming and handsome. Anni hates to admit it, but she's always had a bit of a crush on him.
That's the kinda love
That's the kinda love
That's the kinda love
That's the kinda love…
Varrick notices her staring and follows her gaze. "Zane, huh?" he says, a hint of jealousy in his voice. He's practically pouting with how much his face was scrunched up in disdain.
Anni rolls her eyes and takes another sip of champagne. "Don't be ridiculous," she says. "I just think he's an arrogant prick."
Varrick chuckles. "Well, he is that."
They continue chatting and mingling with the other guests, but Anni can't shake the memory of Zane's touch. She feels a mix of anger and confusion, and she can't help but wonder if there was something more behind his comment. Was he trying to flirt with her? Or was he just being his usual obnoxious self? As the night wears on, Anni finds herself growing more and more restless. She can't stop thinking about Zane, and she keeps glancing over at him whenever she gets the chance. She can see that he's watching her too, and she can feel a strange pull between them.
Ohhhh
Let there be hotel complaints and grievances raised
And that kind of love
It's very rare for Varrick to come to dinners like these, only because his goofy personality is switched over to a sharper version of himself when he’s at work. At work, his charm is ruthless and enticing, made of cleanly sharp blades and clever posterity. The insecurity and poutiness that the demon usually displayed was buried.
Ohhhh
Let there be damage ensued and tabloid news
And that kind of love
Varrick slips a hesitant hand across her waist and plants a sweet kiss to the side of her neck, his favorite spot. “You look absolutely stunning.” Anni rolled her eyes at his compliment and slightly pushed him off. And he was right, she was stunning, even getting some looks from around the large ballroom. They made jokes, talked about Enid's prestigious reputation and floated alcohol with her. She would have enjoyed the night and the attention, if Zane wasn't clouding her mind with those taunting eyes of his.
Ohhhh
Let there be damage ensued and tabloid news
And that kind of love
Varrick seemed fine, but Anni knew him well, despite the smile on his face. She notices something wrong and her forced, tipsy smile drops into an annoyed frown. She excused herself in between the little group that had formed around her and leaning against the table beside Varrick, gripping his button up shirt with her fingers. He had already pulled back his sleeves to his elbows, nursing a scotch.
“Alright, what’s wrong?” She asks, watching as he puts the glass to his lips and takes a sip.
“Nothing, just feeling a little bit lonely.” he smiles. “I told you that you were stunning. But now I'm a little jealous of everyone getting your attention. Especially Zane.”
“What's with that?” Despite her words, her smirk beamed wildly. As soon as he saw it, he cackled out a laugh. He smirks, adoring her words as he pulls her into a tighter hug, resting his head on the side of her head in an appearance of sweetness. She doesn't see the harsh look he gives out to Zane, the wave of warning coming off of him in waves as he stares at each and everyone of them down whilst pressing a possessive kiss to her shoulder.
That's the kinda love

A/N: I adore Astar and their dynamic with the three proxies. They are just so irresistible.
------
Hungry lips clash together as two pairs of hands rake up and down two bodies that are hotly pressed together. Lips move back and forth, the rhythm matching perfectly with each other’s breath as they continue kissing one another passionately.
As the kiss is broken off by a deep moan, Masky squeezes his eyes shut as he feels Anni's lips trail down his neck, sucking and nibbling and leaving pretty marks that blossom under the sensitive skin.
“Mmm,” he grunts in approval. He needed this, they both needed this. The stress from their jobs and lives in general was enough to have them both wound up like a tangled ball of rubber bands that could snap at any moment. So naturally, both Anni and Masky searched for a way to relieve some of that pressure. And it just so happened to be that they both were pent up as fuck which was what lead to a mixture of lips and teeth clashing together in a heated make-out.
Anni breaks away for a brief moment to breathe out a small ‘fuck’ before she gets busy nuzzling into Masky's neck again. She makes her way downwards once more, her mouth working hard and fast against the older man's skin to mark him up as much as possible.
Her fingers trail down to grip at the hem of his shirt and tugs lightly. Getting the hint, Masky leans away from her for a moment to yank the clothing off of his body and Anni does the same, leaving them both shirtless.
Before Anni can go back to kissing hickies onto Mask's neck he grips her chin to get her attention and he presses a few needy kisses to her lips before completely pulling away again. A little whine leaves Anni's lips when Masky pulls away but he glances at the clock on the wall to see how much time has passed since Astar and Varrick left for a little errand.
"Shit, we don't have much time.." Masky hisses. "They'll be back soon." he quickly adds before turning back to Anni.
Anni narrows her eyes at the clock. He was right, Varrick and Astar had been out for about an hour now, which meant they'd be back very soon and there was no hiding what they were about to do.
"Let's hurry this up then…" her hands trail from Masky's chest down to his belt. There's already the outline of a bulge that strains against Masky's jeans as nimble hands undo his belt buckle and tug down his pants.
He almost sighs in relief as his hardened dick springs out of his boxers and soon he finds his own hands wandering down to undo the buttons on Anni's shorts. Masky nudges Anni down to lay against the bed and he slips the shorts off her legs and drops them to the floor with the rest of their clothes.
That leaves Anni in just her bra and panties and Masky can feel his dick twitch as the sight of the wet patch that shows on the fabric of Anni's underwear. With one deep intake of breath, Masky slides the panties off and reveals what he's been craving.
He slides in between Anni's legs and leans over her, trapping her body against the bed and himself. Ducking his head a bit, he presses a kiss to her cheek as he slowly edges inside of her. He feels slightly bad for not being able to properly prep her as he takes his time in sheathing himself deep inside her. As he does so, Anni's face can't help but contort into a little wince as he bottoms out.
"Let me know when I can move.." he mutters into her ear.
Knowing they don't have much time, Anni tells him its okay and soon he's rolling his hips into hers. Of course it starts off as a painful burn from the stretch but soon as Masky builds a steady rhythm the pain turns into mind numbing pleasure.
Soon he forgets about everything and anything else other than getting closer to Anni. She gives a slight whimper and reaches out to hold onto his shoulders for extra security. She digs her nails slightly into his skin and Masky lets out a satisfied groan in response.
His thrusts become rougher, and he goes a bit harder as he continues driving into Anni. She cries out loudly when she feels his dick hit the perfect spot inside of her and he doesn't waste any time before going deeper.
Being too sucked up into the moment, they both neglect to hear the front door opening and the footsteps that follow as they walk into the house.
"Where the fuck did they go?" Varrick asks, dropping the bags onto the counter and looking into the living room, only to find the Tv abandoned with some random movie playing.
Astar huffs as they carry two heavy bags and they plop them down next to the others. Of course Varrick left the heaviest bags for them to carry, they think as they follow Varrick into the living room.
"They aren't here?" Astar asks. Then as if their questions had been answered both Astar and Varrick heard a noise coming from one of the bedrooms upstairs.
"Was that a…moan?" Varrick questions. They both fall silent as they listen for anymore noises and then suddenly a cry rings through the silence….
"Ah! Masky!~"
They both looked at one another as their eyes widened in understanding. While Astar can't help but smirk, Varrick can feel his eyes twitch as he hears more sinful noises spill from one of the upstairs bedrooms.
"This is un-fucking believable…" Varrick growls. He can feel his cheeks growing red as they listen for a second time to the loud moans and then there's a series of loud thumps.
As Varrick's anger grows so does Astar's smirk. They walk past him and towards the staircase that leads upstairs and they shoot Varrick a look.
"What are you doing?" Varrick snaps. He watches as they chuckle and vanish up the stairs.
As the two sneak up the stairs Masky and Anni are still tangled together as Masky ruts his hips forward. Anni can feel the throbbing of his cock as it moves within her, making her arch her back upwards. Her head lolls back, letting out a loud moan at the sensation.
Her lips part open and Masky dives forwards for a deep kiss. He grabs her waist, pulling her tightly against him as his tongue explores her mouth. Anni reciprocates enthusiastically as her arms wrap around his neck, her fingernails digging into his scalp, scratching at the base of his skull.
"Having a good time?"
Masky freezes and Anni's head jerks back as they snap their heads toward the voice that startled them. Standing in the doorway, leaning against the door frame casually as if nothing had happened, stood Astar and a very angered looking Varrick.
Masky and Anni share a panicked look.
"Oh no, don't let us interrupt." Varrick growls. He slams the door shut and walks across the room to lean against the wall.
"Get the fuck out!" Masky shouts. He's about to pull out before Astar comes up behind him and grabs Anni's legs, wrapping and locking them around Masky's waist.
"What the hell!?"
"Relax Masky. We just want to help," Astar coos, a sinister grin plays on their lips as they lean their face against Masky's shoulder.
Anni's face is beet red from the entire situation but she feels the pulse and need that is nestled between her legs and can't help it when she grinds up against Masky.
"Go on Masky, look at her. She's practically begging for it." Varrick chuckles darkly.
Humiliation floods both Anni and Masky as he takes one deep thrust and they both let out loud moans.
"Fuck.." Masky grits out, his eyes screwed shut. "I don't wanna watch you two sluts get off while I'm fucking her!"
"You're no fun, Masky. You act like you don't enjoy this. " Astar laughs, rubbing their nose against Masky's shoulder teasingly.
Masky starts to roll his hips again, building up a nice pace.
"There you go, good boy." Astar coos. Masky bristles at the petname but can't find it in himself to cuss them out as Anni tightly squeezes around him.
"Look at how well she takes you…" Astar murmurs, their teeth nibbling on the shell of his ear. "Such a pretty girl, huh?"
Masky's eyes trail down to watch as he thrusts in and out, watching his dick getting swallowed whole in Anni's cunt.
As Varrick watches his jealousy builds and he joins Astar by kneeling down next to Anni.
Anni's mouth hangs open, her eyes squeezed shut and her hands clutching onto Masky.
"Does that feel nice?" Varrick asks. "Does he fuck you as good as I do?"
"Ngh…" is all Anni manages to grunt out. She can feel her orgasm coming much too fast and with one more thrust she's falling apart under Masky with a cry.
Varrick lets out a pleased hum and brushes some hair out of her face as she comes down from her high. Though that doesn't stop Masky from continuing to thrust harshly inside her, chasing his own high.
"Oh, are you close? I think you are…I mean look at how she's still clenching around you, must feel good?" Astar teases.
"Oh look at you, you wanna cum inside her so badly." Varrick snickers. "Go ahead, Timothy, cum in her."
"Fuck…off." Masky groans.
"No it's okay, give her that nice thick, hot creampie." Astar huskily whispers into his ear. "Fill her up…."
"Hmph…fuck…you…." Masky grumbles. But he finds it difficult to fight off the arousal as his body begins to twitch and spasm once again inside of Anni. He bites his lip to suppress another groan and then finally he gets the release he's been fighting for.
Astar makes sure that Anni's legs stay locked tightly around his hips as Masky spills inside her. As warmth floods her cunt Anni lets out a choked sound that's a mix between a whimper and a moan.
Being satisfied, Astar lets go of Anni's legs and rolls to the side. Masky releases a breath he didn't know he was holding in as he pulls out and watches his own milky white essence spill from Anni's cunt.
Anni is all but humiliated as she feels the stickiness between her thighs and suddenly a pair of arms scoops her up and her back is pressed firmly to Varrick's chest.
"Let's clean up shall we?" Varrick smirks evilly.
Varrick loops his arms under Anni's legs and pulls them up to her chest, exposing everything to Astar and Masky. The sight alone had Astar and Masky a little mesmerized and even more so when Varrick dips two fingers down to trace a line up and down Anni's slit. Then without warning his two fingers thrust into Anni's cunt with no warning, making a loud whine resonate from Anni's throat.
Astar looks over at Masky whose eyes are wide despite how tired he looks and how he's leaning on his side in exhaustion. Taking advantage of the position he's in, Astar goes to straddle Masky. Masky goes to protest but he is quickly interrupted with a snicker from Astar.
"You didn't really think you were done yet did you?" Astar purrs into Masky's ear before kissing his cheek roughly.
A shiver runs down Masky's spine as Astar hikes up their dress and slowly slips off lacy lingerie. They make sure to drag the motion out, letting Masky watch as the lacy garment slips down their tan legs.
"I fucking h-hate you." Masky utters, rubbing a hand over his face to somehow foolishly conceal the blush that had been on his face ever since the whole situation occurred.
"Oh, you know you love this." Astar rubs a hand down his chest, taking their time with Masky. They run their finger tips lightly along the scar on their chest, causing a sharp intake of air from Masky.
"Stop teasing." Masky bites out through a snarl.
Astar scoffs and continues to trail their fingertips on Masky's scarred skin.
"Say please and I may consider." they demand. Before Masky can say anything else, Astar teasingly rubs a thumb over Masky's red flushed tip that is overly sensitive from his first orgasm.
He lets out a sharp hiss and grits his teeth when Astar rubs small little circles on the tip of his dick. As if that wasn't enough to convince him, they give a few good pumps and then they rip their hand away as soon as Masky starts bucking upwards.
"Fuck! Please, please…" he pants.
"Since you asked so nicely." Astar smiles. Slowly they lean a bit over Masky, pressing their hands against his chest for support as they slowly sink down onto his length. They wanted to make sure that Masky felt every part of them, squeezing around him as they sunk down even more.
Without even missing a beat Astar begins to roll their hips, almost being unfazed all while Masky chokes out heavy exhales of air and pants.
Closing his eyes, Masky lets his head go limp as Astar continues to rock their hips in slow, tantalizing motions. Though that doesn't last long when Astar grips his chin and forces his head to the side. Opening his eyes he gets a full view of what's going on next to them.
Varrick being three knuckles deep inside Anni as he coos and mutters obscenities under his breath. Varrick especially makes sure to lock Anni's legs wide and open, making sure that everyone could see the way she gushed and fluttered around his fingers.
"By the way your clenching around my fingers, i'd say they probably feel better than Tim's dick, huh?" Varrick quips, pumping his fingers in and out of Anni's entrance with no mercy.
Between the slow, painfully pleasurable pace that Astar was going and the lewd sight in front of his eyes, Masky was sure that this would be the death of him.

Its been a while since things have gotten a little heated. Could you do [ UNBUTTON ] and or [ LEAN ] with Astar, Varrick, and Addict? You can switch out any of the prompts and use any that appeal to you!
---->Prompts
[This took so long- I could have kept going with it, but you've waited long enough. I hope you enjoy this steamy Celebrity AU piece!]
In Front of the Camera
“Thank you both for coming on such short notice!” The director exclaimed, leading Anni and Varrick down the tiled floors. “You will be compensated generously for all of your help with this photoshoot!”
Annie tugged at her sleeves as she tried not to look directly at the mostly naked men and women pictured on the walls. She wasn’t sure why she was invited here and her nerves pulled her to refuse and walk out right then. Modeling wasn’t really in her career, much less something like this. She glanced to her friend, and current coworker, Varrick, seeing his nonchalant face as he kept his eyes and ears on the job the director was describing.
A photoshoot for a new lingerie line. The previous models they hired refused to come in for one reason or another, so they asked around everywhere for whoever they could get. Thus, there they were. Really, it was only Varrick that was invited. Varrick made her come along by request, but refused to expand on why.
The three of them reached the doors to the studio finally and Anni stiffened up, anticipating what they’d find.
The room was filled to the brim with equipment, of course. Racks of scanty clothes and undergarments were set about alongside props, decor, and spare lighting. But what caught Anni’s attention so stiffly was the gorgeous concubus currently arched so enticingly over the bedroom set. The lingerie tightly hugged their curves, certain to leave even the slightest mark on their body. Their ruffled hair framed their face perfectly.
Anni lost her breath as their sultry glare flicked towards them and remained on her until the photographer stopped. She and Varrick were pushed further inside and introduced to the clothing designer. She tried to keep her cool despite the stare from the mystery beauty burning into her soul. She fixed her hair and current outfit despite knowing it all would be discarded for a few hours.
“Wonderful, there you both are. We don’t have much time with this room, so we mustn’t dilly-dally,” The designer urged, pushing hangers into Anni’s and Varrick’s arms before shoving them towards the dressing rooms.
Anni glanced back at the beautiful stranger, watching as they languidly stood and took the sweaty water bottle offered to them. She swallowed thickly as she quickly disappeared behind a vague room made out of curtains. Once ‘alone’, she looked down at what had been handed to her and blushed at the sheer fabric hanging in her hands.
Undressing into the lingerie, Anni took much longer to step out from the curtains. Once she did though, she was relieved that no one turned to look at her; Only to realize that everyone’s attention was on her partner, Varrick, who was currently draped over the lounge chaise beside the bed. She hid her flushed cheeks under her hands as she stepped closer to the unknown beauty.
Astaraith however noticed Anni’s presence and smiled as they looked down at the review of photos regarding Varrick’s current selection. They settled a hand on the small of her waist, pulling her close as they leaned in. The enlarged one of the photos with Varrick’s head tilted back and a tight grip to his inner thigh, showing off the garters he wore.
“Do you see him?” They whispered in her ear. Anni squeaked in answer, trying to cover her eyes so she didn’t have to look so closely. “Oh, don’t do that.  Take a good look at him.” Astaraith took one of her hands and pulled it away from her face. They settled her hand on the edge of the screen, grip gentle before sliding their palm over her skin until their fingers overlapped.
Anni bit her lip as she stared down the photo of her partner. He was handsome, but she’d never seen him like that before. Her stomach fluttered with butterflies, both from the closeness to the model beside her and from the enticing image before her.
“Oh, he’s looking at us..” Anni’s eyes darted up, and accidentally met his intense glare. Her breath stilled as he adjusted to lean forward as if keeping an eye on whatever Astar would do next. His stare struck deep in her soul and a shiver creeped up her spine as warm lips pressed against her cheek.
“We should stop..” Anni whispered, lightly pushing Astaraith off. But Astaraith doubled down with a smirk as their eyes locked with Varrick’s. He stiffened, ready to get up and shove Astaraith aside.
“Nous venons juste de commencer, mon amour…” They whispered, pulling a whimper out of Anni.
Astaraith laughed and let Anni go then. The photographer had stopped to scold Varrick for his expressions, giving Astar time to recollect themself and reapply their lipstick. They stood aside as Anni was called up to pose. Varrick stood from chaise and stopped beside Astaraith, glaring at them for that little stunt they pulled. Astar merely smiled and readjusted their bra. What they missed as they did so was Varrick’s glare deepening as his gaze briefly, mistakenly, drifted down to the center of their chest. He shook his head and turned away, blush rising over his neck.
Astaraith and Varrick watched as Anni fumbled with each pose. It was sloppy work, even for her first time. Varrick tapped his fingers over his bicep before finally cutting off the photographer to give Anni a few minutes to breathe. He approached where she was propped up on the bed, dropping his weight beside her as he leaned in close. His hands laid on either side of her hips. Her blush deepened as he practically pinned her in place with his gaze.
“Stop overthinking it.” Astaraith blinked, staring straight at the back of Varrick;s head when his voice dropped to a deeper, more sultry tone. “You’re on set, acting out a scene. You’re the protagonist getting ready for an intimate scene.”
Anni could hardly breathe as his advice did not make her situation any better, but it became easier to relax as he pulled away to stand beside Astaraith again. She nodded before focusing on how the photographer wanted her poised. But, the advice was helpful now that the camera flashes started. She ran her fingers through her hair, closing her eyes as she fell into her role.
The photographer finished up and the three of them were sent out to redress. Astar settled their hand on Anni’s waist and led them back to their dressing room, pulling her close and sticking their tongue out at Varrick as they disappeared behind red curtains. Once the two were alone, Astar pinned Anni to the vanity, kissing her cheeks and neck. It had started out in quick, uncontrollable pecks, but slowed to longer presses of lips to heated skin. Anni swallowed thickly as she noticed in the mirror the distinct lipstick marks all over her cheeks.
Astar would have gone further if it weren’t for the firm body pressed against their back and a deep growl in their ear. They paused their slew of kisses to watch Varrick in the mirror. “Je ne pouvais pas rester à l’écart?” they cooed.

Okay so I had an idea for ocv Varrick....I kinda forgot demons had heats for a minute there and when I realized that demon Varrick has heats...well I just had to do something with that idea. So this is obviously gonna be smutty....
So the idea is Varrick having his first ever heat. He has no idea what it is that's making him so hot and aroused and very grumpy...but lets say that ocv Anni is gone on a mission and Varrick just can't get his heat stricken mind off of her. He's sure that she won't be back anytime soon and he is so horny that he goes to Anni's room and lays in her bed, surrounded by her scent and all her personal belongings. He's super pent up so he obviously tries to fix his issue and is too caught up in his issue that he doesn't realize that Anni is standing in the door, mouth open in shock and just staring at the display in front of her. When Varrick sees her he freaks out, thinking she'll be mad or call him pathetic but she simply shuts the door and walks over to him, stripping and then crawling on top of him. She decides to be generous and help him out, but not before she teases him and edges him for a bit, making him all whiny and needy and he practically has to beg for what he wants.
"Aw, does that feel good? Keep making those sounds and I may just give you what you want~"
(this request is just pure filth, so there is no obligation for you to do this...and if you do decide to do this, then take your time, no rush, especially if you aren't feeling good...)

The pillow covered in Anni's scent was at the center of Varrick's little nest, its soft olive scent giving him comfort. Normally the scent of her was too strong and overwhelming for him to enjoy, something almost bringing her to tears. Anni's scent however was sweet and rich, drawing him in closer instead of pushing him away. Waiting for Annu to arrive started to grow unbearable the deeper into heat he fell. Varrick could feel his  pants tighten and precum begin to seep through his boxers, soaking the blankets in his 'nest' but he was too overwhelmed to even care. His skin was crawling, the temperature nearly unbearable.
He was unsure how long had passed since Anni had left on a mission but it had to have been hours, he was in absolute misery. How in the hell did he ever think he would be able to handle this on his own? The pain only grew worse with each minute, and the need was unbearable. Tears started to gather in the corner of his eyes as his mind started to haze.
The house was deadly quiet as Anni walked down the hallway. She found herself looking for signs that he was home. Her nostrils flared automatically; searching the air for the scent of recently cooked food. All she smelt was the soft, pleasant smell of the pine air freshener he scented the house with. She heard nothing but the soft pitter patter of her boots on the hard-wood floor. She took them off after a moment’s consideration.
She placed her shoes to one side of the door and walked further along the corridor. It was clear that Varrick was not downstairs. She had half-expected that he would still be on a mission when she arrived. He would be home soon either way, she knew. Quickly checking through the two adjoining doorways, Annu started to head upstairs. She was careful to be quiet, despite the fact she suspected that Varrick was not home. She felt like an intruder. She reached the top of the landing and turned to face his bedroom. His bedroom door was slightly open; just a crack. She could not help but take a step closer. If he was home, great. If not, she could take the opportunity to have a quick snoop around his room. As she approached the door, she thought she heard a quiet hum of sound as she pressed on the wooden door, as though a television was playing very very quietly.
Anni heard his small grunts before she had even reached the half-closed bedroom door. Although she had heard those exact sounds dozens of times before, it didn’t quite register in her brain and she pushed on the wooden door firmly. It swung open and she took a step into the room without thinking. The double bed she usually slept on alone was adjacent to the door; giving her a full body view of the demon who had snuck into her room. He was lying on his back against the white sheets, his body completely naked. His left leg was tucked up on the covers; his foot flat against the sheets. His left hand was wrapped tightly around the center of his straight, hard cock; pumping up and down in rough, jolty movements. With each little jolt, he let out a throaty grunt. His eyes were half-closed; eyelashes fluttering against his lower eyelid like the wings of frantic summer butterflies.
Her mouth lulled open as she took in the sight. It wasn’t as though she had never seen him touch himself before, but she had never observed the act in these stark conditions. Slowly, Varrick lulled his head towards her and met her gaze. His deep, amber eyes connected with hers and she felt herself stop breathing. Anni's mouth was open but she found herself unable to speak. He carried on his little violent motions as he looked at her; his fingers tugging on his cock. She felt herself growing redder with each passing second as realized he was challenging her to do something; either take a step closer or leave. He felt pathetic for doing this, but his heat didn't let him stop— not even for a second. He ended up finally pulling away, desperate tears springing up into his eyes from the loss of pleasure, "F-fuck, Anni, I'm sorry— I-I didn't think you would be home so early—"
His eyes watch in shock as she closes the door behind her, a little smirk gracing her lips before she sheds herself of her clothes— giving Varrick a little show as she smirks at his widened eyes before crawling on top of his body.  Varrick squirms around on the bed beneath them, hips arching up for some sort of friction but she lifts her hips and moves her hands away. Varrick lets out a frustrated sigh, cock throbbing and standing at full attention from her constant teasing.
“Anni, please just… just touch me!” Varrick whined, shivering as she raked her nails up his sculpted chest and looked at him teasingly. He loved her, but right now she was being a horrible tease! She'd teased him the entire week, brushing past him and leaning in to whisper things into his ear throughout the day, making dirty jokes between missions.
"No~ I don't think so~" Anni purred, a dark glint in her eyes as they stared down at the submissive male under her. The demonic man blushed, biting down on his lip.
“P-please, touch me. I need it, please…” Varrick pleaded and her tongue dipped out from between her mischievous lips to drag across her bottom lip at his obedience. Mercifully she trailed a hand down his toned stomach, and took his hard cock into her palm, slowly pumping him from base to tip. Varrick moaned, hips arching up into her hand. “Oh! Anni, please, more… faster—Mmh—oh god!”
"Aw, does that feel good? Keep making those sounds and I may just give you what you want~"
Anni swiped her thumb over the head of his dick, smearing the precum across his heated flesh and using it to lube up her fingers, her hand sliding up and down his shaft easier. She varied ner pace and grip, keeping him guessing with a sudden squeeze or series of faster pumps. As her boy twisted above the sheets she made her way down his body, dragging the flat of her tongue over his abs and trailing her kisses down to his hips. Varrick shuddered as she peppered kisses across his inner thighs, hand still moving up and down his cock.
“Ahh, ah…!!” Varrick panted, fingers digging harshly into the sheets as he drew close to the edge. A strangled groan and then several curses were torn from his throat as she licked a stripe up the underside of his length before taking him into her mouth all at once. “FUCK! Yes, please~ Anni, yes!”
She could tell he was getting close. His hips were struggling against her firm hold in a desperate attempt to fuck himself up into her mouth, his mouth was agape and babbled praises and mewlings for more streamed from it. His abdomen was contracting underneath her palm, and his frantic breaths only quickened as she sucked earnestly on his dick. Before she suddenly pulled away— he looked up at her questioningly, until tears spring up into his eyes from the sudden warmth around his length.
Varrick sobbed, head tossing from left to right and hips bucking wildly into hers, causing her to moan out at the sheer force of his frenzied thrusts. His hands ripped from the sheets to grasp at any part of her he could reach, searching for purchase. She hissed as his fingers bruised her thighs, his back arching off the bed in increasingly frequent intervals as rapidly approached his end, no doubt a tightly-wound coil of heat festering deep within his belly, ready to explode at any moment. His hands slid from her hips and she startled as he sat up, throwing himself into her arms and burying his face between her breasts as he mewled and moaned into her flesh. She adjusted her position, leaning back onto her haunches so she could still bounce on his lap efficiently, her head tipping back at the glorious angle it provided.
His eyes met her suddenly, an intense, unconditional love spiraling in those gorgeous amber hues that made her melt and wrap her arms around his trembling form.
“AH! Ahh-HAh~ MMmmph… fuck me, fuckfuckfuck… Yes, I’m ‘b-bout to c… ‘bout to—” Varrick clenched his eyes shut, his entire body tensing and his back arching into hers. His heart threw constant punches against his chest, the air momentarily stolen from his lungs. And then he finally shattered, a wail of absolute bliss ripping itself from his sore throat and filtering out into the humid air of her bedroom. His noises only continued as his cum spilled inside of her in thick, hot spurts, his teeth burying themselves into her shoulder to muffle the rest as he shook in her arms. Varrick was still cumming, the most satisfactory orgasm he’s ever experienced overtaking him, plunging him into a whole other world of sensation.
When he finally stopped squirming, he collapsed into her. She pressed him forward to lay on the sheets, running a hand through her overloaded demon's hair in a moment of soft vulnerability before she started moving on top of him again. Varrick cried out, hands moving to hold her but couldn’t bring himself to follow through with it when he felt himself twitch back to life inside of her. The pleasureful overstimulation of it all overwhelmed him, sending him reeling. She continued to ride him without mercy, chasing her own release as his hardness pressed against her walls in all the right spots, the head of his cock jutting into her sweet spot hard enough to send her into convulsions each time.
The way Anni squeezed around him, slamming down onto him with every bounce had Varrick teetering on the edge again. His eyes were rolled back into his head, mouth open wide and tongue sticking out of his mouth like a hound, panting heavily as even more drool pooled from behind his lips. Sobbing moans filled her ears as her walls clamped down around him like a velvety-coil, squeezing his orgasm out of him not a moment later. Varrick let out a broken moan, his entire body shaking and the bed underneath her squeaking in protest. Her own eyes stared at the ceiling as she finally came after what seemed like hours of denying herself any relief, her jaw dropped, eyes rolling in their sockets as she came all over his hips and the sheets beneath them.
Anni fell forward after the contractions finally stopped, her own whimpers mixing with his own as the both of them collapsed onto the sheets. In her daze, she didn’t realize that her hips were still moving, grinding back and forth just slightly— it drove him crazy. Running her fingers through his hair, she murmured soft praises to him and gently slid him off of her to lay down on the bed. After stepping out to grab a washcloth, water and snacks, she returned to see Varrick looking at her with a soft and tired smile, reaching out to her with wide open arms. She joined him on the bed, letting him lean on her and giving him sips of water as she helped him clean up.
— . — . —
Kellin strode down the hallway with purpose, his footsteps echoing off the walls. He had been searching for Anni and Varrick for what seemed like hours, and his patience was wearing thin. As he approached Anni's room, he paused for a moment and took a deep breath before pushing the door open.
To his surprise, he found Varrick lying on top of Anni, their bodies intertwined in a warm embrace. Kellin couldn't help but chuckle at the sight before him. "Well, well, well," he said, his voice dripping with amusement. "What do we have here?"
Anni's eyes widened in shock as she realized she had been caught in such a compromising position. "Oh, shit," she muttered under her breath, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
Varrick, on the other hand, seemed completely unfazed by Kellin's presence. He merely snuggled closer to Anni, nuzzling his head into her chest with a contented sigh.
Kellin shook his head in disbelief. "You two are just too soft," he teased, a grin spreading across his face. "I never would have guessed that you, Anni, of all people, would be such a cuddler."
Anni rolled her eyes, trying to hide her embarrassment behind a facade of annoyance. "Shut up, Kellin," she grumbled, pushing Varrick off of her and sitting up. "It's not like you've never cuddled before."
Kellin laughed, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Touché," he said, before turning to leave the room. "Just don't let me catch you two getting too cozy again, alright?"
As he walked away, Anni let out a sigh of relief, glad that the embarrassing moment was over. She turned to Varrick and gave him a playful shove. "Thanks for making me look like a complete softy," she said, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
Varrick merely grinned in response, pulling her back into his arms. "Anytime," he said, his voice filled with warmth and affection. "I love cuddling with you."

Okay...so I couldn't think of much so I'm bringing up an idea that I may have requested in the past but it was never written by myself or you yet, so why not?
This is also fluffy and kinda humorous so here we go! Ej and Addict! I hc that Ej not only has heats but periods where he kinda goes out of it and just gets feral kinda...like a cat. During these periods he tends to just be very needy affection wise and is very protective over things.
So Addict is chilling with Varrick and suddenly Ej appears and snatches Addict up. Varrick is pissed...obviously, Addict has no idea what's going on or what to do and Nightmare just thinks its funny. But Ej is just super cuddly and just holds Addict, and when he isn't holding her, he's following her around and anyone who tries to touch her he growls at. So Addict is just walking around the mansion with a feral demon trailing behind her like a shadow lmao-
This can end however you'd like, I was just looking forward to the jealous Varrick and Nightmare who is just escalating things...also the fluff...I'm in a fluffy mood-
(Tysm! And please take your time, your second request will be done soon btw!)

A/N; I wanna bully Varrick and EJ
Words; 2,040
"Anni~." Varrick whined, head perched on her shoulder as he pouted, undoubtedly giving her his infamous puppy eyes. He was trying to joke around, but Anni was trying to watch her show.
"Varrick, stop, I mean it." She warned once more, arms crossed and something close to a scowl on her lips. "I have stuff to do."
"I love it when you get bossy with me~ You know that, but I reeeally need you right now." He said softly, nose brushing the shell of her ear as his hands gripped her waist. His low, seductive tone attempted to lure hrr away from her show and into his arms. To be fair, her show wasn't that important or urgent, and he knew that, she also knew that. But something inside her told her to pull his leash a little tighter, lest he become a spoiled man child who thought he could get her as he pleased, when he pleased. (Which he could, usually, but not this time.)
"Well, too bad, because I really need to finish watching this." Anni said firmly, letting him know that she wouldn't let it go so easily.
"Can't you take a break?"
"Nope."
"But I can make you feel so good."
"Rain check on that."
Varrick huffed dejectedly, pausing the shoe in one last attempt to change her mind, placing the remote back when she didn't even look at him twice, despite usually being completely unable to tear her eyes away from him after he got rid of the distraction.
"Plus, you also have work to do. Trying to tempt me when you have stuff to do? You're such an idiot sometimes.." Anni scolded playfully, teasing him as he plopped himself next to her on the couch, turned away from her to sulk. She continued on with her, infinitely pleased with the outcome of teasing the one who usually teased her. Although he did start to become a bit annoying with all the nagging and constantly switching to increasingly unreasonable positions to get her attention.
If he wasn't so hot, she would've shouted at him an hour ago, at least. All that to get her to play with his hair, and cuddle up beside him. He could be such a man child sometimes…
Right as she finally obliged to his words, and cuddled up beside him, lids shield his tired amber eyes from the light of the ceiling fan and his breathing slows to a comfortable pace. Anni's fingers brush back auburn locks as she traces his hair line from temple to nape with a touch so delicate it seemed like she could break him with even an ounce more of force.
They just lied there, cuddling, in front of an annoyed Jack. He could shout at them and get angry…but he could turn to Varrick to shout and start fussing. No, Jack was the one to sulk in the corner of the room. But he was so frozen at the scene, he just stood by the door of the living room, watching Anni roll her eyes at Varrick. Jack was so furious to the extent he felt his face go red in fury. In no time he’s probably going to have steam coming out of his ears. He was much more clingy and protective, he wanted to be affectionate with her.
He looked at her, just because her smile showed hints of drowsiness didn’t make it any less perfect. So warm and inviting. She tilted her head in his direction, something that made him wanna steal her away even more. However the man was still awake, and instantly realizing the current circumstances, falling asleep in Anni's arms once again. Jack sent the closest to a glare the demon's painted on eyes could manage.
Right as he was about to fall asleep, his eyes snapped open upon noticing Anni had literally been abducted by the demon he despised..
"DAMN IT JACK! GIVE HER BACK—!"
Nightmare started howling in laughter at their behavior, laughing and slamming her fist on the table attempting to contain her judgemental giggles at the way the two grown men were acting. Anni sank closer to him without asking much questions, wrapping her arms around his neck to wind through his hair, and planting a kiss on the soft skin beneath his ear. She felt his grin. Nightmare continued to laugh at their behavior, until Jack shot a 'glare' towards her….she was quiet for a moment, but then she just started laughing even louder.
“Sorry I took you, but I couldn’t let Varrick have you again,” he whispered quietly. "He…always has you."
Anni's body is thrown onto his bed with a yelp. The brown haired demon hovers over you, 'eyes' boring into hers for a moment.  The intensity stops her breath, making her slightly fear what will come next.
"You haven’t paid any attention to me since I came home from the mission,” he mumbles, laying himself on top of her, his head on her chest and his arm circling on top of her body.  "All I wanted was to be next to you.“
Softening at his behavior, her fingers naturally thread into his soft hair tickling her face.  "Why didn’t you just say so?”
“Do I have to say it?” he snaps, “I haven’t even touched you all week, I missed you like crazy.”
"You're so silly," Anni teased in his ear before wrapping her arms around him and fully pulling him down onto the bed with you. His chuckle was light and sweet, something that always seemed to take her breath away. Lips were pressed to her forehead, resulting in a moan flying from her still cold lips. Anni wanted his warmth everywhere.
Not just one place, everywhere.
Hearing her satisfied moan, Jack trailed his warm lips down her face and towards her lips. “You're so cold,” he purred, huddling up even closer to her more in hopes of warming her up quicker now that they were both lying down. She nodded softly against his lips, eyes closed in the pure ecstasy of the warmth flooding her suddenly cold body. His lips finally landed on hers and thankfully, he kept them there.
Moving his lips slowly against hers, Anni began to feel the exchange of hrr temperatures. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pulled him closer to her. Like a personal heater, Jack slightly hovered over her with his body still pressed against hers. His lips were rough and feverish against hers, the chilly temperature of her flesh reminding him to try to warm her up a bit more.
Anni mouth opened against his, the groan flowing between her teeth practically begging him to put his tongue inside of her mouth. Taking her moan as a clear sign, his warm tongue traveled between her lips and swiped at the insides of her cheeks. She giggled against him as the tip of his tongue tickled the top of her mouth. A smile tugged at her lips even more once she realized he had been purring.
Jack chuckled back as he pulled his tongue out before pressing a simple kiss against her now warmer mouth. "You feel better?” her body seemed to melt into his at the way the words rolled off his lips. She was in heaven, what with his warm and strong body pressed against her cold one. The freezing temperature of the room meant that no matter how hard he tried, she was still going to need him to stay warm.
Which he knew was her plan all along.
“How about we take a hot shower and then go to bed?” his breath fanned across her blissed-out face, but she didn’t care what the two did, as long as she was in his warm embrace. Jack smiled down at her, enjoying the joy he could bring her with affection, something he always thought he would despise. His left-hand drug down her face, coaxing her back into reality.
“That sounds great Jack, just keep me warm.”
The slamming open of a door caught their attention, looking up from Jack's slightly hunched position and meeting the eyes of a jealous Varrick. "HEY! I had her first! I don't care if you're in your weird demon heat…just give her back!" the man-child yelled. He stomped over, leaving Anni staring at him blankly, and he seemed to have no reservations as he reached out and dragged her out of Jack's bed.
"How the fuck did you kno—" Jack cut himself off mid-sentence when he saw Nightmare leaning in the doorframe with an overly cocky smirk, that just radiated mischievous energy. She felt like being a little snitch today, and decided to tell Varrick why Jack was being so clingy. He was definitely going to get back at her somehow…
Anni managed to escape both of their grasps, while they argued over who gets to have her today, and snuck her way next to Nightmare. The petty argument escalated immensely, as random objects were seen being flown across the room, random noises of shattering, and Jack undeniably growling at Varrick like some type of feral animal.
Nightmare nudged at Anni's shoulder, "So a little birdie told me where Amber lives, and after all she's done to ruin your life, I was wondering if you wanted to ditch this place and egg her house with me?"
"Hell yeah!"

Okay so here is the cute little idea I had for ocv Anni and Varrick.
So like mentioned in discord, human Anni is getting lots of just attention and love from ocv Varrick and ocv Anni is just sitting there, glaring at the two with Azrael just menacingly standing behind her and trying to cheer her up, but Anni is just super jealous.
Later the group is trying to get human Anni to a portal to get her home and suddenly ocv Anni sees a demon coming to attack human Anni and ocv Anni whips out her bow and arrow and shoots it before it gets the chance to kill human Anni. Normal Anni thanks her later, but ocv Anni is salty and says, "I didn't do it for you. I did it for Varrick....he seems to be fond of you and i'd hate to see him get hurt due to your stupidity..." ocv Anni doesn't think anyone heard her, but Varrick did and later he gets her alone and just pulls her into a bear hug, like her feet are literally dandling in the air, her face is smushed against his and she's yelling at him to put her down.
"I know what you said to the other Anni earlier." and Anni immediately stops and freezes, feeling sort of embarrassed but Varrick is happy that she cares about him and was willing to let human Anni be around him if mean't that he was going to be happy.
"Y-Yeah....? Well I....that doesn't mean anything!!"
"I knew you cared.."
"Shut up! Don't say that too loud!"
(lmao tysm, I love your writing! Please feel free to decline or take as long as you need on this!)

A/N: this kinda bad...didn't come out how I wanted it too-
Word count: 1,653
The shadow-like version of Anni narrowed her eyes sharply, with an annoyed scowl tugging at her lips at the scene in front of her— unfiltered jealousy boiled in the pits of her stomach watching the two idiots in front of her being all lovey-dovey with each other. Azrael mimicked her movements, growling at the human girl who was being closely held by Varrick. Even if it was still technically her, Anni still mildly disliked her human counterpart. A slight wince of jealousy struck at Annu's heart, causing her to look back forward and avoid Varrick's occasional glances towards her. Her feet annoyingly tapped against the floor and a hard lump of air slowly rolled down her sore throat. The two of these idiots needed to get a room.
Varrick sat on the couch, his arm wrapped lovingly around the small little human's shoulders. He leaned in, pressing a sweet kiss to her templeAs he pulled away, he gazed into her eyes, a warm smile gracing his lips. "You know, Anni, I love spending time with you," he said, his voice soft and gentle, "I hate that you have to leave so soon." Varrick's sudden attacks of physical affection had been something Anni needed to get used to, having a tendency to tense slightly at his touch, but she slowly grew to adore passing caresses and hugs from behind. She considered her day incomplete without her heart swelling at least four times with every graze of Varrick's fingers or tightening of his arms around her body.
Not to mention the way Anni could leave him a flustered, blushing mess with a simple phrase or compliment, having his brain working overtime to recover from the sentence “I like your hair like that,” was a good way to get him into a surprisingly amicable mood for the rest of the day. And of course he also had his little ways of surprising her. Strong arms slid around her middle, guiding her into his chest, and she couldn’t have moved more willingly if she was made of putty. Anni's eyes screwed shut, as if to stop the overwhelming happiness of the moment escaping. With her ear against his sternum, she could hear his surprisingly steady heartbeat, and her hand came up to rest against his chest to feel that same rhythm beneath her fingertips.
— . — . —
"Hurry towards the gates and keep your eyes open!" Fang called to all the ears around her, Fang and Viper slowing to let the rest catch up so they could take formation. Just past the gate, was the only place safe enough to open a portal— just so the crawlers or demons wouldn't try to sneak through one and rampage Anni's original home.
They all burst through the forest out into a grassy clearing just a couple hundred feet from the first set of fences. Fang swung around to the back flank next to Viper, holding up the rear and left side with her medium ranged weapon. Crawlers meandered about the fence line, and as they caught the appetizing scent of the human, their heads slowly turned into the direction followed by their bodies.
"Watch the backside!" Fang called over to Viper and her brown eyes flicked to her briefly,
"I got it! Go, Viper!" Fang noticed that everyone had already begun to flood into the makeshift door that she had cut open. Viper gave her a quick nod and grabbed her scythe from the ground, turning, and leaving Fang to watch the rest of their backs as they climbed into the barrier for safety.
"Jesus they're all over the goddamn place." Fang eyed as many of the Crawlers slamming up against the fence as she could as they quickly rushed by. Her boots slammed annoyingly on the gravel below her feet, Fang did an odd formation with his hands. Immediately after, a glowing aura surrounds her. She directs all that energy towards the crawlers until the creatures start to dissipate in thin air. Once they're completely out of sight, she stretches her arms into the air like she just finished a light workout. She didn't even have a single scratch or scuff on her.
"Anni, hurry!" Anni heard Viper's quiet voice to her call from the fence and with one last look as Crawlers stumbled down the fence line, she whipped around and put her scythe in first. Her body was quick to follow as her small frame squeezed through, her shirt getting caught momentarily on a piece of jagged wire protruding out. She struggled to get it off— and right as she managed to wriggle her shirt free of it, a demon grabbed her leg and dragged her.
"I don't believe it, it's a human!" The demonic being practically drooled at the sight of fresh, human flesh. Anni tried to kick it, but its grip was terrifyingly strong. Right as Anni was about to get eaten, an arrow got sharply shot through the demon's skull— it's black-blood splattering everywhere and its grip loosened on Anni. Anni scanned around the area, looking for who was responsible for saving her. Ocv Anni lowered her bow and arrow as she pulled the squealing gate open, taking cautious aim just in case another demon was in the square barrier of wire, before glancing down at the human version of her with narrowed eyes.
— . — . —
"Hey..." Anni stands up straight, her eyes wavering while they struggle to stay on this intimidating woman. "Th-Thank you. You saved my life." She feels her cheeks burning a deep red so she tilts her head away, "I can't thank you enough.."
Ocv-Anni rolled her eyes in response, unimpressed by Anni's effusive gratitude. "I didn't do it for you," she said bluntly. "I did it for Varrick."
Anni's expression shifted from gratitude to confusion. "Varrick? What does he have to do with this?"
Ocv-Anni sighed, clearly exasperated by Anni's cluelessness. "He seems to be fond of you," she explained, her tone edged with annoyance. "And I'd hate to see him get hurt due to your stupidity."
Anni recoiled at her alternate self's harsh words, stung by the sudden attack. "What do you mean by that?" she demanded, her temper flaring.
"I mean that you have a habit of putting yourself in danger," Ocv-Anni replied, her voice hard. "And Varrick cares about you, even if you don't seem to care about yourself."
Anni bristled at the implication that she was reckless or thoughtless. "I don't need you to lecture me," she snapped. "I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself."
Ocv-Anni raised an eyebrow in disbelief. "Are you?" she asked, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Because from where I'm standing, it looks like you're lucky to be alive."
Anni scowled, feeling the weight of her alternate self's words settle heavily on her shoulders. She knew that she had a tendency to rush headlong into danger without thinking, but she had never considered how it might affect those around her, especially Varrick. "I...I didn't realize," she stammered, her bravado faltering.
Ocv-Anni softened slightly, sensing Anni's genuine contrition. "Just be more careful in the future," she advised. "And try to remember that you're not the only one whose life is at stake."
Anni nodded, chastened by Ocv-Anni's words. "Thank you," she said quietly. "For everything."
Her alternate self shrugged, dismissing Anni's gratitude with a wave of her hand. "Don't mention it," she said gruffly. "Just don't make me regret saving you."
As Anni finished speaking with her human counterpart, she was convinced that no one else had overheard their conversation. However, as she turned around, she caught a glimpse of Varrick's expression, and it was clear that he had heard every word. Anni felt her heart sink as she realized that she had just revealed a vulnerable side of herself to Varrick, one that she had always tried to keep hidden. She braced herself for his reaction, expecting him to be angry or disappointed in her.
But instead, Varrick surprised her by pulling her into a bear hug, lifting her off the ground and crushing her against his chest. Anni's feet dangled in the air as she struggled against him, her face squished against his chest as she yelled at him to put her down. "Varrick, what the hell are you doing?" she protested, her voice muffled by his shirt.
Varrick didn't answer, but instead held her tighter, as if trying to convey his gratitude and affection through the strength of his embrace. Anni felt a lump form in her throat as she realized how much Varrick truly cared for her, despite all her flaws and shortcomings. As he finally released her from his grip, Annu felt a sense of vulnerability wash over her, one that she had never experienced before. She looked up at Varrick, her eyes shining with unshed tears, and found that he was gazing back at her with a mixture of concern and tenderness. "I heard what you said back there," he said softly, his hand reaching up to brush a strand of hair from her face. "And I just wanted to say...thank you."
"Y-Yeah....? Well I....that doesn't mean anything!!" Anni felt a blush creep up her cheeks as she struggled to find the right words to respond. "I...I didn't mean for you to hear that," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Varrick shook his head, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "It doesn't matter," he said. "I knew you cared."
Anni felt a sense of relief wash over her as she realized that Varrick didn't judge her for her weaknesses, but instead accepted her for who she was. She knew that she had found a true friend in him, one who would always have her back, no matter what. Anni shook her head, with a little grimace on her lips as she blushed, "Shut up! Don't say it so loudly!"

"I wanna be your vacuum cleaner,
Breathing in your dust,
I wanna be your Ford Cortina,"
Varrick sat on a stool in the dimly lit bar, his fingers expertly plucking at the strings of his guitar. The audience was mesmerized by his skill, cheering and clapping along to the rhythm of the music. But Varrick's mind was elsewhere. As he sang and played, his thoughts were consumed by one person - Anni. His heart swelled with love for her, and he couldn't help but think of her every moment. Even when other girls in the bar looked at him with lustful eyes, he remained focused on Anni. She was the only one he wanted, the only one he could think of.
"I won't ever rust,
If you like your coffee hot,
Let me be your coffee pot,"
As he strummed his guitar and sang, he couldn't help but feel jealous when he saw other guys talking to her. He longed to be the only one by her side, to hold her close and never let her go. But for now, he poured all of his love and emotion into his music, hoping that somehow Anni could hear it and know just how much he loved her. The crowd continued to cheer as Varrick played on, but he was lost in his own world, lost in his love for Anni.
"You call the shots babe,
I just wanna be yours"
Varrick had been playing guitar for years, but he had never felt as inspired as he did when he met Anni. From the moment he saw her, he was captivated by her beauty and charm— the way her sassy remarks somehow made him smile more than the empty praises of the girls that simply just felt lust for him. He would spend hours writing songs about her, pouring his heart and soul into each note and melody. And every time he played those songs, he felt as though he was sharing a piece of himself with the world.
"Secrets I have held in my heart
Are harder to hide than I thought
Maybe I just wanna be yours,"
As he played in the bar that night, the audience hung on his every word, mesmerized by the raw emotion in his voice. But for Varrick, there was only one person in the room - Anni. He could see her sitting at the bar, her long hair cascading down her back as she laughed and chatted with the other patrons. Every time he caught a glimpse of her, his heart skipped a beat.
"I wanna be yours, I wanna be yours,
Wanna be yours, wanna be yours, wanna be yours."
But as the night wore on, Varrick continued to feel a twinge of jealousy. He noticed other guys approaching her, trying to win her attention. He knew they could never love her as much as he did, and the thought made him feel possessive and protective. But he didn't let his jealousy show. Instead, he poured all of his emotions into his music, hoping that Anni could hear his love ringing through every chord and melody.
"Let me be your 'leccy meter and I'll never run out,
And let me be the portable heater that you'll get cold without,"
Varrick is deeply in love with Anni and she holds a special place in his heart. Despite the attention he's receiving from other women, Varrick remains focused on Anni and can only think about her. His love for her seems to be all-consuming and he hates that he even gets jealous when he sees other guys talking to her. It's clear that his feelings for Anni are stupidly strong and he sees her as the most important person in his life.
"I wanna be your setting lotion,
Hold your hair in deep devotion
At least as deep as the Pacific Ocean,
I wanna be yours,"
As he plays guitar and sings to the audience, his thoughts are filled with Anni and how much she means to him. It's possible that his music is a way for him to express his love for her and to let her know how much he cares— he doesn't know. The fact that he's able to stay focused on her even when other women are expressing interest in him shows just how much he values what they have, it was the one thing that kept him stabilized in this life.
"I wanna be your vacuum cleaner
Breathing in your dust
I wanna be your Ford Cortina,"
It's clear that Varrick's love for Anni is a central part of his life and it's almost like he wants to build a future with her— he wants to see her smiling with him, away from all this paranormal bullshit, in a house of their very own. It's possible that he sees her as his soulmate and someone who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Whatever the case may be, it's clear that Varrick's love for Anni is deep and unwavering, and it's something that he cherishes above all else— he'd never tell her that though.
"I won't ever rust
I just wanna be yours,
I just wanna be yours,
I just wanna be yours."
And as the last notes of his final song echoed through the bar, Varrick looked out at the audience, feeling a sense of satisfaction and contentment that he had never felt before. Because he knew that even though there were other guys vying for her attention, Anni was the only one that truly mattered to him.
After his show, Varrick walked off the stage to a round of applause and cheers from the audience. His heart was racing, and he couldn't wait to see Anni. He spotted her at the bar, laughing and chatting with some of the other patrons. As he made his way over to her, he couldn't help but tease her about her height— he learned it was an instant way to gain her attention.
"Hey there, little lady," he said, grinning down at her. "Did you enjoy the show?"
Anni rolled her eyes, but he could see the hint of a smile on her lips. "It was great," she said. "But you know I hate when you call me that."
Varrick then sat at the bar, slouched over with his elbows on the counter and his head in his hands. He was clearly drunk from those sips of whiskey in between kyrics, and his words were slurred as he spoke to Anni, who was standing next to him. "You know, Anni," he said, "I never really noticed how short you are. I mean, you're practically a dwarf."
Anni rolled her eyes, used to Varrick's drunken teasing. She was a petite woman, but it had never bothered her before. "Thanks for the observation, Varrick," she replied sarcastically. Varrick turned to the bartender, Lyon, and gestured for him to pass him another drink. Lyon chuckled at Varrick's behavior but obliged, pouring him a glass of whiskey. Varrick reached for the glass, but before he could take a sip, Anni quickly snatched it from his hand.
"Hey!" Varrick protested, looking at Anni in surprise.
"Payback's a bitch," she said, grinning as she brought the glass to her lips and downed the whiskey in one go. She slammed the glass down on the counter and smirked at Varrick. Varrick pouted, clearly disappointed that he didn't get to drink the whiskey. But then he leaned in close to Anni and pulled her into a heated kiss, tasting the whiskey on her lips. Anni was taken aback at first but quickly melted into the kiss, enjoying the unexpected turn of events.
Lyon watched the scene with amusement, shaking his head before turning his attention to other customers. Varrick and Anni continued to kiss, lost in the moment and the taste of whiskey on their lips. As Varrick and Anni continued to kiss, the other patrons in the bar began to take notice. Some of them cheered and whistled, while others simply smiled and went back to their own conversations. But Varrick and Anni were too lost in each other to pay much attention to anyone else.
Varrick pulled away from the kiss and looked at Anni with a mischievous grin. "You know, maybe I should tease you more often," he said, his words still slurred from the alcohol.
Anni rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smile. "Don't get any ideas, Varrick," she said, playfully pushing him away.
Varrick chuckled and leaned back against the bar, taking another sip of his drink. "You know, Lyon," he said, turning to the bartender, "I think you should give Anni another glass of whiskey. She seems to like it."
Lyon raised an eyebrow, but couldn't help but laugh at Varrick's antics. "I don't think that's a good idea, Varrick," he said, shaking his head. "You two have had enough for tonight."
Varrick pouted again, but Anni just laughed and leaned in to give him a quick peck on the lips. "Come on, Varrick," she said, taking his hand. "Let's go home."
On the sidelines, we had two other idiots.
Jesse sauntered over to Fang with a charming smile on his face, his southern drawl thick as he greeted her. "Well, howdy there, miss. Name's Jesse, but you already knew that, and I couldn't help but notice your fiery attitude. Care to show me a little southern hospitality?"
Fang rolled her eyes, not impressed by Jesse's over-the-top flirting. He was the kind of guy she couldn't stand, always trying to charm his way into a girl's pants. "Sorry, cowboy," she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm not interested in your southern hospitality or anything else you have to offer."
Jesse chuckled, not deterred by Fang's prickly demeanor. He leaned in a little closer, his hand reaching out to give her a playful smack on the ass. Fang squeaked in surprise and immediately retaliated with a punch to his gut. The other patrons in the bar laughed at their antics, used to their constant bickering.
"Ouch, darlin'," Jesse said, rubbing his stomach where Fang had hit him. "I didn't know you had it in you."
Fang glared at him, her cheeks flushed with anger. "Don't you dare touch me like that again, Jesse," she warned, her tone low and menacing.
Jesse just grinned, finding Fang's tsundere act more and more adorable with each passing moment. "Aw, come on now, sugar," he said, his hand still hovering near her backside. "You can't deny that you've got a nice ass. It's just begging to be smacked."
Fang's eyes narrowed, and she stepped even closer to Jesse, her fists balled up at her sides. "I swear to god, Jesse," she said through gritted teeth, "if you don't back off right now, I'm going to make you regret ever laying eyes on me."
Jesse just laughed, not intimidated in the slightest. "You're so cute when you're angry, Fang," he said, his hand finally dropping back to his side. "I think I'm starting to like you even more." That earned him yet another— punch to the gut.
As Varrick and Anni walk back to his motorcycle, Varrick starts to become increasingly affectionate towards her. He stumbles slightly as he leans in to whisper in her ear, his breath heavy with the scent of alcohol. Anni can feel his warmth radiating off of him as he tells her how much he truly loves her.
At first, Anni is taken aback by Varrick's sudden change in behavior— He's usually so reserved and snarky, but now he's clinging onto her like a lovesick puppy. Anni tries to gently push him away, but Varrick is persistent. He keeps trying to kiss her face while she dodges his advances. Anni is both surprised and amused by Varrick's sudden outburst of affection, finding it both adorable and a little bit weird.
As Varrick and Anni make their way back to his motorcycle, Varrick's behavior starts to become increasingly unusual. Varrick keeps trying to kiss Anni's face, his alcohol-laced breath hot against her skin. Anni giggles as she tries to dodge his advances, finding Varrick's behavior both adorable and amusing.  Anni tries to gently push Varrick away as he keeps trying to kiss her face, but he's being persistent. Suddenly, Anni remembers the small spray bottle she had packed in her bag. She had filled it with water and a few drops of peppermint oil, and it was specially reserved for Varrick— she had literally written his name on it. She pulls out the bottle and points the nozzle towards Varrick, spraying him with a fine mist of water— hoping to distract him from his drunken antics.
Varrick recoils in surprise, his pout turning into a look of confusion. He blinks a few times, trying to make sense of what just happened. Anni takes advantage of the moment and steps away from him, putting some distance between them.
"What the hell, Anni?" Varrick slurs, wiping the water from his face.
"Oh shut up you big baby," Anni says trying to keep a straight face— but smirks anyways, "You were getting a little too affectionate for my liking."
Varrick looks at Anni, his expression softening. "I'm sorry, Anni," he says, his voice thick with unnecessary emotion— she didn't mean to make him so emotional. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. It's just that...I really do love you."
Anni's heart skips a beat as she hears Varrick's confession. She had always wondered if there was something more between them, but she had never dared to ask. Now, here was Varrick, drunkenly confessing his love for her— before she sprays him again.
Varrick recoils in surprise, his pout turning into a look of confusion. But then, something unexpected happens. Anni leans in and kisses him back, surprising even herself. Varrick's face lights up with joy as he realizes what's happening.
In that moment, Varrick quickly turns the kiss into a full-blown make-out session. Anni can feel the heat rising in her cheeks as she gives into the passion of the moment. Anni's warm lips pressed up against his, making a tremor of indulgence pulse through his body. She rested her hand on his cheek and pushed up against him, Varrick picking her up, letting her do her bidding. She swung her leg over him, straddling his waist as she kept her lips locked on his. One hand kept her elevated, her other caressed his chest and her fingernails gently scratched across the black leather jacket clasped to his skin.
As they continue to kiss, Anni can feel Varrick's hands roaming over her body. She can feel his warmth against her skin, and it's intoxicating. For a moment, she forgets about everything else and just gives into the moment. Varrick's hands couldn't help but explore, even though his mind was still mildly against the situation he was in. His hands tingle at the touch of her soft legs, his fingers scaling up to the boundary that were her shorts. Feeling her fingernails scraping down his shirt made his heart hasten; he desperately wanted to feel those nails on his bare skin. He could taste his favorite brand of whiskey on her lips— god, he was obsessed with her.
Eventually, they break apart, panting and gasping for breath. Varrick looks at Anni, his eyes filled with love and longing. "I really do love you, Anni," he says, his voice thick with emotion. "I know I'm drunk, but I mean it."
Anni looks at Varrick, her heart filled with happiness. She had always known there was something special between them, but she had never dared to hope that Varrick felt the same way. "I love you too, Varrick," she says, smiling.
He helped her onto the back seat and climbed on himself, revving the engine and taking off down the dark, winding road. As they rode, the wind whipping through their hair, Varrick couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and exhilaration. But he also felt something else - a deep, intense love for Anni that he couldn't hold back any longer. He pulled over to the side of the road, turned to face her, and took her in his arms.
"I love you, Anni," he said again, his voice raw and emotional. The whiskey had been really getting to him, and it was amusing to see how emotional he had been gettin, "I love you so much that all I can think about is you. I want to be yours, and only yours."
Anni's eyes widened in surprise, but then she smiled and leaned in to kiss him once again. They kissed deeply, their bodies pressed close together, and Varrick felt like he was on top of the world. After a few minutes, they pulled away from each other, both breathless and flushed. Anni looked up at him, her eyes shining with love.
"I love you too, Varrick," she said. "I've loved you since the moment I met you."
They climbed back onto the motorcycle, holding on to each other tightly as they rode back to Varrick's place. And as they pulled up to the front door, they knew that they were meant to be together.

Note
Okay, I think you know what's coming. A N G S T.
So Anni just straight up runs away, leaving everything and everyone else behind and no one knows what happened to her. Everyone is hurt and just heartbroken, they don't even know what happened to her or if she's even alive. To make things worse, someone brings up what Varrick did to her when she first became a proxy and Vince had no idea this happened. Vince being upset and emotional, he blames it all on Varrick and maybe even tries to fight him because of how mad he is. So Varrick is heartbroken and kinda just becomes cold to everyone and honestly just sort of depressed. Then one day, years later he finds Anni just walking down a street, she has some earbuds in, and just looks normal, its still her but she just looks....different? So Varrick obviously stops and just stares and practically crumbles in on himself. Then Anni turns around and sees him, and then its like that scene in a movie where the two characters just stare at each other from other ends of the same street.
(This can end however you'd like and feel free to change anything! Anyways, tysm...I really appreciate it! :)

Varrick thought she loved him.
Had it been a different day he’d think that she really did; that a part of her truly loved him as he is and cared for him and would have done everything to make sure he was happy. And he would smile at Anni, hands gentle as they run through his hair and caress his cheeks, eyes foggy and heart full at Anni's admittance. He would pull him towards her and press close as if chasing the heat her body rarely emits. Then he would say, “I am happy with you.” And the tension would seep through her pores— and maybe she would embrace him gentler and maybe she would leave butterfly kisses on his shoulders and maybe he would never leave her again.
Varrick thought she loved him.
Until those memories came back into her life. Not their lives, Varrick realized now, because while he shared her life with Anni, she never did reciprocate.
The harsh truth was— Anni would always belong to where she truly came from. When the memories came sauntering back into her life, looking so beautiful and healthy, eyes bright and joyful, voice so happy when she spoke about her true home— Anni had walked away from him with not a single glance, not a sliver of hesitation, to cross the distance between them; marching forward as though this was his lifelong purpose and he’s finally able to fulfill it. She left his side so quickly to see her home, hands shaking as though this is an illusion and she is terrified of that possibility.
Varrick watched the moment she learned that her home is still real and that there she stands before it, in her beautiful glory. He watched as Anni breathed in sharply, whispering names in a voice he did not recognize, in a tone that was never directed at him, before desperately, running towards where she truly belongs— he had remembered how this happened. He took her for a drive on his motorcycle throughout the country, somewhere where her childhood home was— and when he saw the way her face melts into pure euphoric joy— an incredibly rare display of emotions with her. He watched as she stared longingly at her home, unsaid words and eons worth of longing being spilled when she did. When she finally returned to him, that same joy had disappeared as fast as it appeared.
Anni never mentioned her home before, but he knew what it was— he knew what she thought about it, Varrick would see how her expression would change when she smelled slivers of cigarette smoke— he knew what it reminded her of. Her hometown and all her old friends was a picture safely stowed away in her wallet. The same place, Varrick learned later, that she’d frequently have mountains of old pictures of. Anni missed her home.
Varrick can feel his heart shatter from within his ribs. He feels so choked up, skin breaking out with goosebumps as coldness grips him whole, the void inside him growing as he watches the inevitable: Anni leaving him— leaving everyone. It happened when she suddenly disappeared, which wasn't unusual— but days turned into months, and what he didnt realize, they would then turn into years. Tears cascade down his cheeks, slow and silent, just like everything with Anni.
So this is how it ends, he thinks as he walks away, she was never his to begin with.
Varrick doesn't not remember much of the fallout.
Varrick does not even recall clambering about at his brother's house, heinously wiping at the tears, telling Vince what happened within choked words. He does not remember much, just the sight of Anni's back metaphorically moving further from him and growing smaller as she leaves.
It almost feels surreal that the thing he has with Anni is over. There were times that he thought it was inevitable, but sometimes he remembered the way she held him—tight and sure, and grounding in a way that silenced all his fears—and thought that Annni would never leave him. maybe if he hadn't brought her to her home that fateful day, she wouldn’t have. Anni liked him, that at least Varrick knew, it’s just that she loved her true home. She loved her home in the way that he wasn't, and it breaks him. It shatters him into pieces; feeble fingers desperately grasping at the scattered remains of his heart, trying to save himself from more pain. But it is futile. He weeps at her abandonment. Everyone does. Immediately, everyone blamed him for her disappearance. Especially Vince, his own brother.
Vince looked down and saw Varrick, bloodied and battered, laying on the floor next to his very own bloodied fists. Vince felt guilty— but he was assured that Varrick was the one who caused this mess. His feet moved under him and he knelt down next to Varrick, placing his hands on the sides of his face lightly, "Varrick? Answer me." Vince could feel the bruised bones in his jaw and watched his face begin to swell slowly, his skin turning purple and blue.
Vince heard Varrick choking out in pain and agony, looking over and seeing his face wicked with restraint. He continued to keep his arm extended out and his hand clawed at him as if he were gripping his heart and ripping it from his chest. "What the hell is he...?" Vince whispered to his brother.
"Where is she!?" Vince shouted violently and his brother looked at him hatefully, straining to say his words through Vince's hold—-
"l... don't know!!" He growled loudly and Vince clenched his fist shut, turning it in a circle. He gritted his teeth and groaned out in pain and struggled to face his brother, "She just…left. She doesn’t fucking care. She—"
Vince shook his head, "I don't believe you."
Varrick keeps feeling the emptiness pawing at his chest, never truly knowing how to be whole again. He gave what he was to her, and now he has to rebuild who he was in her absence; to leave behind the person he used to be. It was difficult. Varrick thought it would be easy since Anni surely made it look like so, and yet here he is, unable to leave behind the part of him that yearns for a love now unrequited. He shapes himself around what has been, distracting himself from the pain, and stepping over the cracks to patch himself anew as though it would help.
It does not.
It takes so much of him to move on – not like he was able to; he just rather fills up his mind with things unrelated to Anni. He attempted to force himself to move on, he really did.
"Sweetie," A new voice cooed to Varrick. He felt a hand gently glide onto his shoulder, his eyes opened quickly and his head turned to look over to the blond-female that approached him. "Aren't you cold?" Amber asked. In the few last years or so that he had spent in alone in the mansion, the Proxy found himself becoming close to the Zalgo Proxy he had resented slightly in his youth. It was only natural for them to drift to each other, it felt good to have a distraction from all the worries in his mind.
Varrick slowly looked away from her, looking up at the now gray night sky and wondering how long he had been standing in thought. Long enough for the sun to fully set. "I've got a lot on my mind..." he whispered. "It's been three years since she's been gone, that's a long time. I wonder how everything has changed...l wonder how I've changed..."
He glanced over as Amber obnoxiously yawned, taking the hand off his shoulder and using it to cover her mouth a bit. "l just thought you were cold, I didn't ask for your whole life story.." she said, rolling her eyes. She groaned and stepped forward more, hugging him slightly from behind with one arm wrapped around his shoulder, her free hand coming up and cupping at the proxy's cheek to turn his eyes to her. "Everything's fine without her, stop worrying." she said. After this she slowly leaned in, pulling Varrick in as well, and pressed her lips against his. Varrick returned the kiss, lips gently wrapping over each other as it deepened slightly, his eyes closed, but his is mind had been preoccupied as he did this. He wondered, what would Anni have said?
These thoughts he made up for the girl made him let out a chuckled laugh, causing Amber to pull away slightly and look upon his face in confusion and annoyance. Varrick pulled away a bit, hand gently reaching up to hold the back of Amber's neck and he slowly opened his eyes. Wind rushed past them and blew some of Varrick's bangs over his eyes, obstructing his vision. Through his bangs he saw himself looking back at those captivating eyes that he was unable to stop thinking of, his hand prickled by soft and hanging blond locks as they grazed over his knuckles. He could see that sad smile again.
The wind subsided, his hair fell back into place as the girl in front of him, Amber, pulled away from him - pleased with her pathetic results of attempting to shut up the worries of her boyfriend. He was cold to her— he was cold to everyone since he left, all excluding Cassie, who didn't understand the situation.
Varrick watched her walk away, her hair once again taking the form of Amber's blond and tied up hair, and standing there blankly. A trick of the eye and mind, in a moment of obstructed vision his brain tried to connect what existed in his vision with what had passed through his mind. The result had been the muddled image of that girl. Anni.
A thought crossed his mind for a moment, but he couldn't convince himself completely. Something was in the air, quite literally, and he had smelt it before. "Cigarette smoke.." the whisper came softly from the boy's lips. The only reason he recognized it so well— was because it was the particular brand of cigarettes that Anni would always smoke.
The air smelt of remnants of smoke, just like it had that day before she had left.
— . — . —
Anni had been casually walking down the crowded streets of her town, with a slight skip in her step, and music blaring in her earphones— she lazily marched through the sidewalk with a small coffee she had been clinging onto since she had left the cafe. Ever since she had abandoned her old chaotic life to live in her hometown, everything had been nothing but great— she had met so many new normal people, got a job with the RPD, and had managed to score her own little house within the suburbs. Her other co-workers offered her a ride back to her apartment, but she can handle walking back home— it was much nicer this way, it gave her peace to know she had finally begun to forget the past— which felt more like a fever dream than memories. She sipped on her coffee with a lazy smile on her lips, breathing a waft of fresh air, this fresh new start was what she absolutely needed— she had even quit smoking cigarettes.
Life was great.
Anni rubbed her eye with the ball of her hand and took a quick sip of her coffee, stretching her free arm as high as it would go. With a groan, she walked down the street towards her apartment, the sky burning with the bright, early afternoon sun. A loud sigh escaped her lips and her brown eyes shimmered like glass against the sunlight that bore through a large window behind her favorite cafe.
Vendors stretched across the middle of the streets, catching people's eyes cleverly as they passed by. People walked their dogs, children ran crazily through the crowds of people, and young lovers held hands while the boys bought their girls nice gifts. Anni saw big blow-up playground fluttering around as the children expended all their energy with all their excitement. Street performers littered the different corners of downtown, hoping to make a few dollars from the onlookers that were intrigued by their talents.
Anni stopped dead in her tracks when the exploding sound of hot rods and motorcycles echoed through the streets. Her green eyes instantly found the culprits, seeing hundreds of them lined up in on the shoreline of the lake. A smile crossed her face upon seeing the beauty of the classics all over and the excitement of seeing them was almost unbearable. She found that her feet were quickly carrying her towards the scenic view of mechanical beings, weaving in and out of groups of people, and avoiding children as they jumped in front of her, some even waving at her— to which she gave a little wave back.
Life was so great.
— . — . —
Varrick lazily outstretched his hands to intertwine with the younger girl below him— the only one he had even cared for anymore. As the years passed, a depressed scruff lazily grew onto his chin and with narrowed eyes— he squinted them as the sun glared back at him. God, he hated the human world— everyone was so happy-go-lucky and quite frankly— fucking irritating. The only reason why he had been out here was because Cassie had practically begged him for weeks until he finally gave in, he undeniably had a weak spit for the girl. Ultimately, he had regretted even leaving the house and should've convinced Vince to take her out instead. Varrick walked outside and grimaced at the sight of the high, beaming sun. The rays of its glory beamed down on his scruffy, tired face, his hand immediately hovering over his brow so his eyes could finally get a look at his surroundings. The area of the street was abuzz with activity, people crowding around tailgates and their friends getting ready for their day's events.
God he should have stayed ho— wait.
A recognizable figure walked in the middle of the street, looking as happy as ever— It was a bright, yet small grin under a light shade of pink lip gloss. A wind caught the woman's long, brown haired bouncing around in her ponytail and the lazy bangs in her face tickled her cheeks. Is that who he thinks it is? His hand gripped Cassie's hand tightly, as the youthful little girl looked at him in slight wonder. He blinks the sleepiness away, hands wiping at his foggy eyes, before an overwhelming coldness envelops him in whole. He stares at the girl, frozen, feeling a myriad of emotions flooding him like an angry current. And then, like a balloon popping, his heart is bleeding at the seams again. It’s terrible how just because of a single look from Anni, he is back to being young and stupid for her. Back to yearning for her embrace and missing her voice and remembering every good thing about her. He blinks.
and again.
and again.
and again.
He stares at it until the woman's image is seared deep into his mind as though this was the salvation he's been looking for. He knows it is not.
and yet it does not stop his pining heart.
Anni sees him. She pushed her way through the swarming grow, the afternoon rush had only just started and would grow quickly. It slowed her down, weaving through bodies that would do close to nothing to move out of the way, and she grew anxious. Her anxiety grew as she felt the heat of staring eyes behind her, she could hear the familiar voice even through the loud nuzzling of the crowd. Varrick, she could almost hear him shouting her name.
He wouldn't shoot in such a crowded space, but he wouldn't let her lose him either. His voice made chills run down her spine, panic began to set inside of her, and she looked back and over her shoulder for a moment. What she saw made her frightened, a look of utter rage and darkness in his eyes as he pushed his way harshly through the crowd. But as she turned her head once again, she saw Cassie softly coaxing him and tears both springing into their eyes— Varrick softly nodding to what the child had been telling him, and they ended up both going to a diner. A diner all too familiar to Anni— one they had gone to, to celebrate Cassie finally going to school. (It wasn't a normal human school, but it was one in the demon-realm. Nightmare had offered to help enroll Cassie into the school Hunter had been going to, and Anni remembered how Varrick scrunched his face in protest of letting his precious little girl go to a pretentious rich-demon school.)
Anni could ignore Varrick and everyone else, but she didn't have the heart to abandon Cassie any longer. She sighed, turning on her heel to enter the diner they had been in.
— . — . —
Anni meets them by the breakfast diner that she frequented at before heading to her work. It’s the same one that Cassie is so fond of, the girl always silently vibrating in joy whenever she brings her there for breakfast before her school.
A rush of memories floods Anni like a raging storm: she remembers having to wipe pancake syrup from Cassie's chin, the girl unconsciously becoming a messy eater despite the care she puts in chewing. She remembers Varrick's little crooked smile when tasting the waffles that she ordered for him.
Anni reigns in her emotions, swallowing the lump in her throat and blinking the stinging behind her eyes, willing the unshed tears to disappear. She is not naïve enough to think that this meet-up is for a rekindling of her relationship. She knows it is not. She doesn't plan on returning.
She entered the diner and it is so laughable how her eyes easily found him.
He looked just like she remembers: handsome. He is so breathtaking that she had forgotten why she had followed them into the diner. The telltale of a smile graces her lips, gentle and warm, before the façade is broken when he meets her eyes.
The eyes that he loves dearly are empty of any emotions; there is no sense of nostalgia at seeing him or even an inkling feeling of remorse at his hollowed state. There is not even an awkward strain in her eyes that shows the signs of her distaste with the situation. There is only indifference. And that, for some reason, hurts more.
Anni wants to leave. She wants to just turn around and hightail from the diner, and never cross paths with him again. Sure, she wants to know why he nearly followed her, but a part of her also thinks that she does not owe him this.
and she's right—she doesn't.
Then she sees Cassie.
She sees Cassie and the fight that had simmered in her veins leave. The anger and the hurt and the bubbling feeling of unfairness that she felt at seeing Varrick is replaced with nothing but a stuttering silence. Cassie looks at her shyly as though she no longer remembers how to be with her and she is crushed. She does not resent the young girl, oh god, she never would, but could anyone blame her heart for breaking?
It's there, standing by the doors of the tiny diner, that she finally realizes that there was no longer a space for her. Not beside Cassie, and not with Varrick. A stuttered breath escapes her. It almost sounded like a cry.
— . — . —
Silence greets her when she sits down. Cassie is fiddling with the paper wrapper of her straw, body tensed beside Varrick. She’s always been a smart kid, so no wonder that she knows something is wrong with the situation.
“How…are you?” Anni asks, eyes trained at the girl than at her adopted father. She feels Varrick's eyes bore into her and she tries not to tremble at the attention.
Since when was Varrick's presence associated with fear? She does not remember anymore.
Cassie peeks up at her adopted father as though asking for permission. She doesn't know what she sees, but Cassie turns to her and sends a shy smile her way.
“I'm doing okay,” Cassie replies, voice quiet as though she does not want to break the tense silence.
Anni smiles back at the youthful girl. She knows it is not as bright and she feels her smooth lips sting at the action, but Cassie's shoulders relax and that is enough.
“That's good,” Anni says to her because it is. A waitress arrives and asks for her order. She says the usual, smiling when she nods and walks away. There is silence again, but this time it is less overwhelming and more hesitant. Varrick refuses to open the conversation, so she does it for him.
“How are you, Varrick?”
Anni's voice is quiet and her eyes do not meet him. Any other day, she would call this cowardice. But not today. Today this is protection—she does not wish to hurt all over again. He grunts but he does not answer. She does not probe anymore, simply nodding and waiting to pass time.
The diner fills up with more people as he waits for his order. A family sitting three tables from his are talking in loud voices. A couple sits by the windows, hands intertwined on top of the table. A woman is furiously typing away on her laptop beside them, half of her face buried on the fluff of her scarf. The diner is full of life and even for just a bit, it distracts Varrick.
The sound of paper sliding on wooden tables catches his attention. He zones back in, eyes focusing on the envelope Anni's pushed towards him. He knows what is in it. Rage simmers from within his chest, almost suffocating in the way it bubbles and fills him up.
Varrick turns to her, body pulled taut. “No,” he says, voice firm.
How dare she. How dare she.
“Anni,” he uttered, voice trailing off when the waitress came back with their food. She nods at her and sends a heated look at Varrick. He responds with a small glare of his own and something like a knife drives itself to his heart. When Varrick turns to her, the glare is still on his face and a visceral ache overtakes him. He wants to hurt her the same way she’s hurt him. He wants her to hurt; to cry for days and scratch at her aching heart. He wants her to miss him.
Anni rolls her eyes at what she saw in his, leaning back onto her chair. “Just take it,” she says, voice gruff.
“No.”
“Stop being difficult. take the payment-”
“I didn't love you to be repaid, Anni.” She parts her lips, but Varrick does not give her the chance to talk.
“I loved you for what little love you gave to me. I loved you as lovers do, Anni. I loved our family.”
Anni sighs and for a moment, it is like he is seeing the Anni he remembers. This is the woman who he knew loved him. The one whose eyes look older than they really are, and whose hands tremble when she thinks he is looking away. The one who called for his name when her nightmares got too much, and the one who promised him that he has nothing to worry about— that she wants to stay with him. Liar. This is the woman who looked at her with kindness and compassion; the one who pressed i love you’s at his lips.
Anni calls his name and he turns back to her. He feels his lips quiver as tears blur his eyes. He misses the woman she was.
“Take it,” she says, voice quiet, “Take it and we will leave this as it is.”
He lets Cassie crawl beside her. It might be the last time they’d see her and Varrick wants Cassie to remember her for as long as she could.
Anni wipes at Cassie's tears and presses the young girl softly to her, hugging her shaking body as she whispers comforting promises to her ears. The familiarity of taking care of Cassie bleeds out from her, and Varrick thinks—and he would not admit this to anyone—how motherhood looks good on her.
Varrick tries imagining her married with a faceless man standing tall behind her and a child cradled in her arms. Varrick imagines the way the man would embrace her from behind, tucking her to his chest as they both gaze at the sleeping bundle they hold. Varrick imagines many things about her family: the sleepless nights that would be worth it, the lullabies that would spill from Anni's lips, the way her husband would always be beside her through everything. A tinge of jealousy courses through him, and Varrick never hated himself more.
He turns back to Anni and Cassie, watching in silence. She is feeding the youthful girl her food, occasionally wiping at her chubby cheeks as Cassie continues to sniffle. Anni wonders how long it’ll take for him to move on and find someone new. Someone who would love him more than she ever did. Someone who would want to marry Varrick.
For a moment, his phone began to ring. A familiar name flashed across the screen. Amber.

Okay so here is more Varrick angst. So this could be a part two to "The Red", what I just wrote.
So when Vince yells at Varrick to leave, Varrick leaves and kinda vanishes, leaving a terrified Anni and a hurt Vince all alone to pick up all the broken pieces...figuratively and literally. Meanwhile Varrick is found by Zalgo, but Zalgo isn't there to hurt him, he just taunts Varrick and then says something that makes Varrick realize what hes done.
"Funny how you've lost everything like your friends, Anni, your own brother, and haha well...i'm pretty sure your sanity is long gone now too."
And Zalgo is just not letting up. He talks about how he hurt and scared Anni, how he made his own brother hate him, and it's almost like a flip is switched in Varrick's head and it all comes at him, all at once and Varrick says something like, "This..this was your doing! You made me do this..didn't you? and the truth was...yeah, it was all under Zalgo's influence, which explains the weird red glow that Varrick's eyes had when he was freaking out in the previous fic.
So he races back to the cabin and finds that Vince is still there along with Anni. Vince is obviously on the Offense when Varrick comes back and he doesn't want Varrick to hurt Anni again, and poor Anni is actually scared of Varrick and even flinches when Varrick tries to touch her.
It can go on from there however you'd like Anni and Vince don't have to accept his apology or maybe they do, but I will say that wherever it goes, its gonna end in tears and angst.
Tysm and if this is too much then let me know! No worries if it is!

A/N; Varrick getting abused by @insane-horror-movie-addict part 2
Word count; 1,479
It was nighttime.
The demons were finally gone, Varrick had finally gotten rid of them for the time being.
Varrick sat in the damp, tall grass, his amber eyes fixated on the distance in front of him. His arms hung off his knees and his teeth were grinding against his cheek.
He hoped Anni was alright.
When Varrick left the cabin, everyone had seemed to disappear from the corner of his twisted mind, all except Zalgo, who'd always remain stuck to him no matter what. Like a parasite that refuses to let up.
He stood at the edge of the cliff, the stars above carelessly twinkling as an endless flock of unsaid apologies plagued his throat, with each cough that disposed of more blood, more threatened to emerge from his throat as time passed. Varrick's skin seemed to get paler, with dark circles from under his eyes, the rare sight of tears threatening to fall as he did his best to let them slip to his cheeks. In the bristle grass stood a tiny group of flowers, carelessly sweeping alongside the patterns of the wind. Anni would have liked these very flowers, he thought. The petals swept off of the cliff's edge with the aid of the howling breeze, the sound almost comforting in a sense.
He envisioned her brown eyes staring at him, and that amazing smile that warmed his blood. Was she okay? Did she hate him? Does his long-lost brother hate him? Was it really a good idea for him to separate himself from her? All of the questions and concerns rolled through his head like a destructive train.
Life would always be cruel to him. No matter how hard he tried, and just when he thought that he was given another chance, fate decided it would be better to take such a wonderful feeling for an awful turn. It felt horrible, but what could he do in a situation where all the cards were played against him? It was almost all too clear that no matter how hard Varrick tried to redeem himself, fate would always find a way to punish him. After years of enduring it, he had been convinced he might have been deserving of it. All these horrible things wouldn't happen for a reason, right? And with this new punishment against Varrick, came Zalgo.
From the small group of flowers, he picked a single one up, envisioning Anni. Suddenly, as he tried to pinpoint a specific memory when this had started, the soft laugh of a female rang through his ears. He had to look over his shoulder to assure himself the girl wasn't there, she wasn't and he was sitting alone on the cliff.
But he could hear her so clearly, laughing and teasing, and with this came the image of a smile so small and riddled with sadness that it could barely be considered a smile. He closed his eyes again, trying to get more clarity in his mind, and he visualized the girl again. With her long brown hair that she flicked away in annoyance when it got in the way. Her soft brown eyes wavering slightly as she stared off into the distance, entire stories would dance through her eyes in the silence. And her hands, roughened in patches with different thickness in certain areas. He still remembered how her softened fingertips felt
against his spine as they soothed him when he had a mental break-down. His eyes narrowed, letting the flower go as he turned his head around, knowing exactly who snuck behind him.
"The fuck do you want?" He sneered, glaring at Zalgo with a flicker of red igniting in his eye, "Haven't you ruined my life enough already?" His hand grabbed around the ground until it came in contact with a rock, grabbing it and chucking it at the hallucination in-place of Zalgo, "You couldn't even be bothered to actually come. Pathetic." Zalgo often couldn't directly come in contact with Varrick, since he had many important things to do, but that didn't mean he didn't force hallucinations into his mind. This hallucination stood in place for him.
"I'm afraid you're wrong about that, Smith." Zalgo let the same devilish smirk curl onto his face as he taunted Varrick, and slightly squinted his large red eyes into a brooding stare like always. "Funny how you've lost everything like your friends, Anni, your own brother, and haha well...I'm pretty sure your sanity is long gone now too. You ruined your own life, I was only here to simply…watch."
"Bullshit." Varrick hissed and mumbled more curses under his breath, spinning around to face Zalgo directly as he glared. "All of this," his eyes flickered with confusion, before it quickly sparked back into fury. "This..this was your doing! You made me do this..didn't you? You're just so fucking petty, you won't let go of the fact I'm not your fucking proxy anymore."
Varrick saw Zalgo's eyebrows twitch in annoyance, his nose wrinkling, and mouth twisting into a grimace. "That's enough, Smith—"
"No. You don't get to make that call. I'm no longer your proxy, so I'm not letting you control my life anymore." Zalgo stopped and saw the same, stern look on Varrick's face. He would not stir; he didn't even give her a second glance. "—I'm going to go make things right."
— . — . —
"What the hell are you doing here?" Vince tried to sound angry, and he was, but his voice cracked, revealing how sad he actually was. He loved his younger brother like no other— but after what happened, he couldn’t let him near here— near Anni.
"P-please just," Varrick sighed, taking a deep breath before flickering his eyes open once again, locking eyes with Vince, "I know I was an asshole. And I'm sorry— I truly am. I wish I could tell you what's going on, but right now— it's not the time, so I'm just gonna cut to the point," Varrick swallowed dryly as he looked up at his brother, "It's Zalgo. I was his proxy at one point, and ever since then— he's been fucking with my head. There isn't anything I can even do about it right now, so please. Just let me make this right." Vince's face softened at hearing this. He was Zalgo's proxy? He had so much to catch up on.
Vince sighed, his eyes lowering, "Fine. But after you talk to her, you need to tell me everything, so I can help." Varrick nodded, before stepping into the cabin.
Varrick's heartfelt as if it suddenly began clenched as if he had skipped a bit as the gentle features of the familiar girl came into view. She seemed different, and she was about to speak when something came over her face. It was an unknown emotion, it puzzled him. Her eyes filled with something he recognized however, the shakiness of her pupils as they dilated slightly, and the way her chest tightened and restricted her from showing too much motion as she breathed. Without knowing it Varrick quickly stepped closer, his hand slowly and unconsciously reaching out for her. Without him knowing it, his body had tried to move forward tohold the girl in comfort, out of pure and complete instinct.
But something was wrong, something was different, because upon seeing the hand that reached for her the girl stumbled back and fell desperately onto her back, tripped by bent floorboards on the ground. The fear in her eyes grew more, it made her shake in his sight and he tried to step forward to help her again but froze when he spotted the tears that welled up in her eyes. Those eyes, the same eyes he would dream about every night, the same eyes he had been responsible for forcing pain onto. He was taken aback, surprised because he had expected her anger and her rage, or even her indifference, but this? He had not expected this. He had not expected her to be overcome by terror.
With utter and complete gentleness, he kneeled to her level. Anni was caught completely off guard as he scooted up closer to her and wrapped his arms around her neck, pulling her in with a soft, but tight grip. She had never been hugged in that manner before by Varrick, usually she was doing the hugging. He rested her chin on her shoulder and took a breath, letting it out slowly as he took in her warmth. She didn't move and she looked down at him, not knowing what to do in the certain situation. She lightly flinched when he put his hand on the back of her head, but her muscles relaxed when she felt his rough hands run through her hair. She almost smiled when she could hear his heartbeat, and it was beating fast.
"I'm sorry."

Eventually Anni wakes up on the floor, just hearing arguing, laughing, and russian yelling and she just sees these two idiots going at it and she just awkwardly sits up and is like. "dude..wtf bro.." she tries to get up and run off seeing how the other two are busy arguing and fighting but she steps on a twig that snaps and then there's dead silence the russian yelling stops, the laughing stops, the fighting stops and she turns to find Keiran with his hands wrapped around Aris's neck, Aris is in mid punch but they are both staring at her and she's like..."well shit..." A/N: Can we just give a round of applause to Anni for putting up with their bs? Like, me personally, I would just fought them both. My toxic trait is I think I can take these ridiculously unhinged idiots in a fight.. also, this isn't proofread- sorry..
Word count: 2,336
Blood pooled on the floor around the various demon bodies, the faces that were still intact enough to show expressions remained frozen in complete terror. It was clear that the group present to witness the event unfold would not be making it out alive to share their horror story. Even the monster who committed such carnage would share the word of it to anyone if he could help it. Aris was extremely unhinged like that— he was one of the more violent of the Gigglers, taking the time to really tear apart his victims.
But… That was before a frightened sound drew his attention, eyes slowly sliding over to see Anni standing there with an almost horrified expression. Her legs slightly shook and it was clear she would bolt at the slightest provocation. His favorite thing about her were those sweet doe eyes of hers and the way they made her look so innocent to the world around her. And now, she stared at him like a frightened deer that just noticed a hunter sitting in the trees, those same doe eyes brimming with tears as she took in the carnage.
“Anni, w—w-we can talk about this. It's nothing you haven't seen HAAHAA— before right?”
He started, his hands slightly raised in an attempt to soothe her as he took off his blindfold, so he could make eye contact with his sweet darling Anni. But the moment he took a step towards her, it was clear she was not going to listen— she was stubborn like that. Fear is surprisingly good at making people run faster even if they aren’t very fast to begin with. By the time he reached the door, she was scrambling around the corner in an attempt to find somewhere to hide from the obsessive Giggler she barely knew. The sound of a rustling and running in the deeper part of the forest told him exactly where she had decided to take refuge.
Aris took the moment to calm himself, knowing that he would only be more frightened if he tried to approach hee while in an overly giddy state— but he couldn't help it, she was just so cute. The fact of the matter was that he knew he lost to his psychotic tendencies with those demons left discarded on the ground, but he loved and hated the fearful expression she wore when she looked at him. He didn’t care if others were afraid of him or if they had a negative opinion of him, he could handle being an outcast in the proxy world. What he can’t handle is when she tries to hide from him— why was she so scared? Did she not like him? There was no way that was the case, he was perfect for her! That's what his delusional mind told him.
As he approached the forest he could hear her panicking on the other side, panting and gasping for air as the scene took its full mental toll on her. He wanted nothing more than to hold her and kiss her until Anni managed to calm down, feeling that near desperate need to protect her from even himself. Where he could easily tear through trees and get to her, he knew that would likely only make things worse so he chose to call her ever so gently.
“Anni? C—come out please~ I'm not going to bite you…yet.” His hand clenched around the blindfold that once tightly wrapped around his eyes, pink fluid trailing down from his overly expressive eyes as he searched for his darling, “Come out Hahaha— pplease.”
Despite how she almost snapped and cut him off, he was still going to try to get her to come out from hiding herself. It would be far less upsetting for her if she chose to run to him versus him tearing through bushes and trees down to get to her. When she didn’t respond, he decided to try again.
“Anni, come here, sweetheart. I—I can take you away from all t–this, make you all mine.” His neck twitched his excitement as he scanned around the forest with that permanent grin carved onto his face. More refusal to communicate followed, the soft sound of her sniffling and whimpering scratching from the wounds into his heart. Every noise of distress she made only added another slash to his heart, feeling almost frustrated that he couldn’t hold her like he needed to. His need to comfort her began to agitate him, but he still tried to maintain a steady voice that pleaded with her.
“Anni, can we not fight anymore please? Y—you know I love you more than anyone else ever could! I–it was love at first sight~ r—remember how it happened?” That’s all it was to Aris. A small lover’s quarrel. It could be fixed so easily and all Anni had to do was reveal herself from her hiding place to him. All she had to do was not fight him. He was absolutely delusional though, Anni barely knew this man! God, she fucking hated Gigglers— all of them were fucking insane. It was quite a while before he had finally found her, but when he did, she hadn't realized he was right next to her— because of how silent he was. Goosebumps crawled on her arms when she felt a droplet of thick, pink liquid drip onto her skin, and when she turned, Aris appeared right next to her with a giant grin.
"HAHAHA— FOUND YOU!"
With a swift slam to her head with the handle of a random pipe he had found while hunting her down, he swiftly knocks her unconscious. He's about to drag her back to Akuma's realm— before his sharp senses heightened and his reflexes quickly reacted to the incoming danger, his eyes darting to the dagger that directly lodged into his forehead. Pink liquids trailed from the wound, bleeding onto his face as his eyes flickered to his new opponent. Fits of laughter echoed from his mouth as they mocked the narcissistic Zalgo proxy in front of him, "You do HAHAHA— r-realize weapons have no effect on me, r—right?" He pulled the dagger out of his head, mockingly tossing it back towards Keiran— as if to taunt him.
"Oh I know." His hand quickly caught the dagger tossed at him, clenching it with venomous intent. As Keiran glared at Aris, his blue eyes took on an almost ethereal quality. They were like two pools of moonlight, reflecting the serene beauty of the night sky. Despite the darkness around them, his eyes seemed to glow with an inner light, casting a blue hue across his face that was both eerie and captivating. "It's what I hate most about you giggling freaks. You can't ever just stay down."
"S-sounds like HAHAA— someone's mad that they aren't number one anymore!" Aris's eyes were unlike anything anyone had ever seen before. They were a bright and vibrant pink, luminous in the dark and almost glowing with an otherworldly energy. It was as if they were made of some strange and mysterious substance, one that shimmered and sparkled with every movement. As Aris grinned widely, a strange liquid began to drip from his eyes, staining his cheeks with a bright and vivid pink. The liquid seemed to glow and pulse with an inner light, casting an eerie and unsettling aura around him. Right when he was about to reach for Anni, Keiran tackled him.
Keiran slammed Aris's torso against the ground, his jaw tightening and his hands aching to rip this man apart. Keiran huffed and reached his fist back, slamming it against the man's face with every ounce of strength he had— but Aris only continued to howl in laughter. Keiran growled and pulled his fist back once again, unloading his vengeance through the Giggler's jaw, feeling bones knocking loose— but somehow the pink liquids mended the broken bones. Keiran sneered at Aris as they both assumed a high guard, and threw an overhand punch. Aris dodged quickly, reflexively. Keiran sheathed his dagger and cut from the other side, and Aris again dodged. They moved back and forth across the grass, until, realizing he wasn’t dead yet, Keiran was starting to get irritated with this joker reject. He started to think, to act instead of react. Aris kept dodging and trying to grab Anni— but the Zalgo proxy wasn't having it.
With the next slash across his chest, Aris threw his hands up, and smashed his fist against Keiran's face, while the point of Keiran's weaponed stabbed through Aris's face. In his pleasure at his success in finally shutting the Giggler up, he nearly missed the moment that Aris escaped from his grasp, quickly scooping up Anni and making a run for it. Eventually, Aris managed to escape Keiran's grasp and grab hold of Anni. But Keiran was hot on his heels, determined to stop them from getting away. The two of them struggled for a few moments, with Aris holding onto Anni tightly and Keiran trying to wrestle her away. In the end, Keiran managed to overpower Aris and stop them from running off. They both fell back onto the grass, with Anni slipping from Aris's grasp while they began to try and literally kill each other.
Anni slowly opened her eyes to the sound of arguing, laughing, and Russian yelling. As she sat up on the forest floor, trying to clear her head, she saw Aris and Keiran going at it like a couple of idiots. They were shouting at each other, laughing, and occasionally breaking into Russian as they argued and fought. Anni couldn't help but feel a sense of annoyance at the two of them. She had just been knocked unconscious during their game, and here they were, arguing and fighting like nothing had happened. She tried to get up and walk away, hoping to avoid the drama altogether, but as she stepped on a twig, it snapped loudly, causing the forest to fall silent. The arguing and fighting stopped immediately, and both Aris and Keiran turned to look at her. Anni felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment as she tried to think of something to say.
“Aw, baby, what’s wrong?” Keiran cooed, shoving Aris off of him, while he inched toward Anni to grab her. “Bad dream? Maybe it was because you saw this ugly fucker.”
“Yeah, made worse by seeing you here, your face is the stuff of real nightmares, Keiran.” Anni snarled, backing away from his intended embrace. Keiran only clicked his tongue, shooting her a concerned frown that didn’t match the amusement in his eyes. Amusement quickly turned to fury as Aris howled in laughter at the insult she shot at him.
“C’mon, doll, tell your boyfriend what happened so I can make it all better,” Keiran practically purred, reaching out to cup her cheek. She wasn't having any of that though, taking another step out backward out of his reach and sneering at him.
“You are not my boyfriend.”
“Sure I am, doll. I wouldn’t be here for you, putting up with your bitchy attitude if I wasn’t.”
“Well, if you’re getting so sick of my ‘bitchy’ attitude,” she shot back, “I’d be more than happy to just leave with this joker reject rather than tour delusional vodka sipping ass.” With Anni's anger fueling her words, she didn’t even realize what she was saying until the words were already out of her mouth. As soon as they were though, she realized that she had pissed off Keiran way more than she wanted to, even before Keiran reacted. For as much as he enjoyed the verbal sparring sessions that they two would get into, enjoyed watching Anni rage against him when it was so pointless, there were some things he would just not tolerate. And above all, he would not tolerate the idea of her being taken away from him.
“Aw, she chose me,” Aris whispered roughly while he immediately rushed to her side, brushing his lips against her neck with near-impossible gentleness. “You’re just cranky from a hard day, aren’t you? You don’t even know what you were saying, poor thing. C’mon, let’s run away to Akuma's wonderland. Then I can make everything all better.” She flinched as he wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly against him and muttering a mantra of praise—
“You don’t mean that,” Keiran growled, quickly grabbing her from the Giggler's grasp. “You don’t mean that at all. Right, babe?”
“I—no, I didn’t, I swear. I didn’t mean it, Keiran,” Anni said, fear draining whatever bravery anger had given her. Yes, she'd usually be snarky with her insults and way too prideful to submit like this, but she had no weapons on her. She didn't even have her phone to call for backup, she was in a rough situation— and had to play her cards right.
“I sure hope you didn’t mean it,” Keiran told her, his voice dark and low. “Cause you know what I’d have to do if you did.” As they stood there in the forest, the tension between them palpable, Keiran's eyes seemed to grow even more intense. They were like two blue flames, burning bright and hot with an unspoken anger and passion towards Aris.
“O—oh I think she HAHA— meant it!" Despite the strangeness of it all, Aris seemed to revel in the attention he was getting. He tilted his head back, letting the pink liquid flow freely down his face, and laughed with a wild abandon. As the liquid dripped down his face, it seemed to take on a life of its own, twisting and swirling like a living thing. And yet, despite the strangeness of it all, there was also a sense of beauty and wonder in Aris's eyes. They were like two pink gems, sparkling and shimmering with a light that was both mesmerizing and hypnotic.
Between these two psychopaths, Anni had to choose one— just until someone came to save her.

Okay so I have another ocv idea...hope you don't mind. So this is where cp Anni ends up in the oc-verse.
Fang and Viper are freaking out, Kellin and Vince are sitting there like dude....this human is kinda cute, Varrick is standing there holding onto Anni and quite literally is about to kill anyone who tries to touch or get too close and ocv Anni is being unreasonably aggressive, insulting Anni and threatening her, saying things like... "If you were smart you wouldn't be here. You are weak and pathetic and could get us all killed ! In fact I hope some demon catches you and decides to eat you."
"I won't fucking hesitate to kill you. In fact i'd relish in it." which is making Varrick tug her closer to him. Once everyone calms down they realize that human Anni is very much human and smells like such so they have to get rid of the smell. Fang offers to use a spell but Varrick practically jumps at the chance for affection and scents her by hugging her, rubbing his face against her, kissing her cheeks and neck, ocv Anni is seeing this and is just glaring, she feels jealous and kinda lonely but says nothing and sits there with her...."cat". Human Anni even tries to pet her "cat" but Azrael goes into his actual form and screeches, unhinging his jaw and scaring the piss out of poor cp Anni, and Varrick just shields her and glares at ocv Anni and her "pet."Then cp Anni just looks at her other self and narrows her eyes and says, "Why are you such a bitch? This entire time you've been sitting scowling and sulking, so what the hell is your problem?"
Ocv Anni: "YOU are my problem. You shouldn't be here!" and the arguing goes on until it gets to cp Anni just completely calling out ocv Anni.
"Oh whatever, you're just jealous and you know what, I know what your scared of. Your scared of being close to people, your scared that if you get close to anyone like you did with Ris, something bad will happen and you'll get hurt again....you and me may be different but we both have the same fears. So stop acting like you're all high and mighty."
Ocv Anni: "DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT NAME! YOU DON'T GET TO SAY HER NAME, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO LOSE SOMEONE LIKE THAT!"
(I am so so so sorry this is so long, no pressure, feel free to ignore this or change and get rid of/add anything you'd like and if you have any questions then feel free to ask!)

A/N: Never mention Ris around her...-- also, not really proof read?
Word count: 2,769
Fang and Viper found themselves in a dimly lit room, the flickering torches casting eerie shadows on the stone walls. The room was filled with demons, their glowing eyes fixed on the two of them as they entered. Fang's heart raced as she realized the gravity of the situation. She had messed up, and now she was in the presence of Enid and her shadow-proxies. She could feel their stares piercing through her, and her mind raced with thoughts of what kind of punishment Nightmare would inflict upon her.
"Oh no, Nightmare is going to be so angry with us," Fang whispered, her voice trembling with fear. "We're going to be in so much trouble! We allowed them to bring another human— you know how much Nightmare fucking hates humans?! We're all going to be fucking executed by her fucking proxies!" She paced back and forth in a panic, her heart racing as she began to sweat
Viper, who had been calm and collected up until this point, suddenly became more forceful. "Fang, pull yourself together!" she yelled, her voice echoing off the walls, she jumped up and grabbed Fang by the shoulders and striking a palm on her face to get to snap out of it, "We knew this was a possibility, and we have a plan. If we handle this correctly, everything will be fine." Fang nodded, trying to steady her breathing. She knew that Viper was right, but it was hard to shake off the feeling of dread that had settled in her stomach.
Fang looked at Viper with wide eyes, her breath coming in short gasps. "How the fuck would you know?! You're the one who got us into this mess!" she asked, her voice trembling.
Fang's eyes blazed with fury as she confronted Varrick, the large demon who had brought a human into their world. "How could you be so fucking idiotic?!" she yelled, her voice echoing off the walls of the cavernous room. "You know that Nightmare will punish us all severely for this! And if we manage to escape death like that, then creatures from all over are going to TRACK her scent down just to get a taste of this human!"
Varrick looked sheepish, his eyes darting around the room as if he was searching for an escape. "I didn't think it through," he muttered, his voice barely audible over Fang's angry tirade. "But I know I didn't make a mistake— she's so precious.."
Fang shook her head, her long black hair whipping around her face. "You never think anything through," she snapped. "Now we're all going to suffer the consequences of your stupidity!" Everyone's eyes fixed on Fang and Varrick as they argued. Fang could feel their collective tension and fear, their bodies tensing as they braced themselves for the wrath of her furious state. "Varrick? Are you even listening?!"
Varrick, a large demon with rippling muscles and a fearsome countenance, looked down at Anni with a tender expression. He had always been fond of the small, fragile human, and he couldn't resist the urge to show her affection. Gently, he reached out and traced his fingers along her cheek, marveling at the softness of her skin. Anni looked up at him, her eyes wide with wonder. "You are so delicate," Varrick murmured, his voice low and rumbling. "I must be careful not to hurt you."
Anni smiled up at him, her face glowing with happiness. "You're always so gentle with me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Varrick leaned down and pressed his forehead against hers, his large, calloused hands cradling her face. "You are precious to me," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "I will protect you, always." Anni felt a warmth spread through her body as she gazed up at him. Despite his fearsome appearance, Varrick was always so gentle and caring with her. She felt safe and loved in his arms. Varrick pulled her close, his massive arms enveloping her in a warm embrace. Anni snuggled into him, feeling his heartbeat steady and strong against her chest. For a few moments, they stayed like that, lost in their own world of love and affection. In that moment, nothing else mattered. They were together, and that was all that mattered.
Finally, Varrick leaned back and gazed down at her with a soft smile. "You are my treasure," he said, his voice filled with reverence. "And I will cherish you always." Anni smiled back at him, feeling her heart swell with love. She knew that with Varrick by her side, she could face anything that the world might throw at her. He was her protector, her guardian, and her love— he was nothing like the other Varrick back at home. When Vince tried to walk up to the human, Varrick started growling— glaring at his brother with disdain.
"Seriously, can you stop touching that human? It's fucking pathetic to see you that desperate for attention, Varrick." Ocv-Anni bit at him, clearly angered by his irritating display of affection towards her alternate self. Kellin snorted with a chuckle at her behavior, but quickly shut his mouth when he realized she had been glaring at him with vicious intent. "I can't believe you can even be considered a proxy with this behavior."
Ocv-Anni grunted and rubbed her head, a headache suddenly eating at her brain. Clenching her eyes shut, she moved towards her alternate self that was being smothered in affection, "And you. You pathetic little human. I can't believe you're even a version of me! Why are you so weak looking? I could kill you right now!"
"And I can't believe even when my alternate self is some badass asshole, I still don't get any taller." Anni said bluntly— looking at the angered woman with a completely flat-tone while saying that. "Why are you even trying to threaten me? You're like 5'3…at most." Anni narrowed her eyes.
Ocv-Anni felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment as the room erupted into laughter.
The laughter continued, growing louder and more raucous with each passing moment. Anni could feel the weight of their amusement pressing down upon him, suffocating her with its intensity. Finally, one of the onlookers spoke up, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Yeah, Anni," Kellin said. "Why are you threatening her? Varrick could easily just pick you up…and put you on top of a fridge so you wouldn't hurt his treasure." Kellin's tone was laced with mockery as he snickered and teased both ocv-Anni and Varrick.
Ocv-Anni's embarrassment turned to anger as she bristled at the insult. "Shut up," she spat, her voice shaking with annoyance. "I could kill you right now." The room fell silent, the laughter dying away as her threat hung in the air. He felt a pang of regret, knowing that he had probably ensured that ocv-Anni was going to kick his ass later.
"And you." Ocv-Anni was sharp with her words, but she managed to spit them out. Her colorless-eyes were venomous with her, letting the human know she wanted absolutely nothing to do with her, "If you were smart you wouldn't be here. You are weak and pathetic and could get us all killed! In fact I hope some demon catches you and decides to eat you— in fact, I hope a crawler comes to tear you apart. Limb by limb."
"You know what? I don't need those creatures to do the job." The much more dangerous version of Anni paused to look at her, her eyebrow raising and it was enough to send her little human heart leaping from her chest- but she smirked shortly after. "I won't fucking hesitate to kill you. In fact I'd relish it. It's your fault for being stupid enough to decide to come here in the first place."
Varrick, the large demonic man, could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he surveyed the dimly lit room. He knew they were in danger, and he would do anything to protect Anni, the young human girl who was with him. "Anni, come here," he said, his voice low and urgent. He pulled her closer to him, his massive arm encircling her protectively. Anni looked up at Varrick, her eyes wide with wonder. She could see the worry etched into his face, and it made her so curious— why was he so worried? Would that other version of her actually go through with her threats?
Fang, the only other human, let out a low groan as she surveyed the group of people gathered before her. She couldn't help but shake her head at the tension in the air.
"Can we cut this soap-opera act and come up with a plan, please?" Fang said, her voice dripping with annoyance, "Do any of you have a plan to cover up Anni's human scent before the crawlers come to hunt her down? Or are we just going to let her be a sitting duck?" The other demons looked at Fang with a mixture of annoyance and confusion.
They knew that Fang had a tendency to be sarcastic and snarky, but they couldn't deny that she had a point, "The moment she steps out of this place, crawlers are going to surround us. My magic has been lacking as if recently, so I'm not certain I can hold them all off. These things can't be killed with regular weapons, people."
"We could use some of the herbs from the forest," suggested Vince tentatively, a look of concentration as he carefully set his finger on top of his chin, "They might help mask her scent."
Fang rolled her eyes. "Oh, great idea," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Because I'm sure the demons won't be able to smell the human girl walking around with a bunch of herbs stuffed in her pockets." Vince quickly flipped her off, while the others were unsure of how to respond to Fang's biting comments.
"Well, then what do you suggest we do, smart-ass?" Kellin rolled his eyes at the snarky woman, his azure-eyes trailing to her with annoyance.
Fang let out a sigh, her expression softening slightly, "We need to be smart about this. We need to find a way to protect Anni, or else we're all in trouble." She said, "I guess I can cast a spell on her temporarily but—"
"Let me do it." Varrick quickly interrupts— an adorable yet goofy smile as he grinned down at his little treasured human. Anni certainly was confused on what they had been talking about, this entire situation as a whole was confusing— I mean, until now, she didn't even know other worldly travel was possible— like at all. She didn't even know she had an alternate self, with differences that she'd never begin to imagine. Anni's eyes widened even further, and she instinctively moved closer to Varrick. She could feel the heat radiating off his massive body, and it was comforting in such a difficult moment.
Anni felt her face getting warmer. She hated to be the center of attention, and at this moment all the girls were piercing her with their curious eyes, making her sigh. It was all irritating to her, until she felt a chaste kiss being pressed against her soft skin— that was the one thing that hadn't changed about Varrick, he wasn't ashamed to show her affection— at all. A soft smile crossed her lips without her realizing it, her eyes glued to her intertwined fingers resting in her lap while he continued with practically rubbing himself against her. Smiling sheepishly, she turned to run her fingers through his hair, enjoying the way his large fingertips slipped alongside her skin, abnormally warm fingers drawing random patterns on her skin while he pressed kisses all over. Placing her hands over his, she slightly bumped her head against his chin, receiving a kiss on the cheek in return. Giggles were spilling from their throats, and Ocv-Anni felt sick.
Ocv-Anni sat serenely on the plush velvet couch, her long fingers delicately stroking the soft fur of her magical feline, Azrael. The feline purred contentedly, arching her back in pleasure at the sensation of her owner's touch. Ocv-Anni's eyes were narrowed, lost in the moment of pure jealousy that came from watching Varrick throw himself at somebody new, as soon as they gave him the attention he craved. As Ocv-Anni continued to pet Azrael, the room grew quiet, the only sounds being the soft purring of the cat and the gentle rustling of fabric as she shifted position. Anni approached the couch, a look of curiosity on her face. She reached out to pet Azrael, but as her hand made contact, something strange happened.
Azrael's fur bristled, his eyes turned deep red, and his body began to contort and twist in a grotesque manner. His once-soft fur became spiky and sharp, and his purring turned into a low, menacing growl. Anni recoiled in horror as the creature before her continued to shift and change, growing larger and more monstrous by the second. Varrick's face fell as he realized what was happening. He had forgotten to warn Anni about Azrael's tendency to shape-shift when she was agitated or startled. He quickly leapt to his feet, grabbing Anni's hand and pulling her towards the door. As they fled across the room, the monstrous creature that had once been Azrael let out a deafening roar, its sharp claws raking the furniture as it began to unhinge its jaws— before it turned back into a small feline, jumping back onto Ocv-Anni's lap as she snickered.
"Why are you such a bitch? This entire time you've been sitting scowling and sulking, so what the hell is your problem?" Anni heard her alternate self scoff under her breath, while her feline followed her lead. Anni was already prepared for her alternate self's disgruntled stubbornness— quickly flipping off her and her terrifying cat— which only caused the feline to hiss even more.
"YOU are my problem. You shouldn't be here!" Ocv-Anni's nails were buried deep in the palm of her hands, creating moon shapes. Her fists tighten, shivers running through her spine and her arms shaking uncontrollably, "You're causing nothing but problems, once they find out an ordinary human is here, we'll be killed. If not by the hundreds of crawlers tracking us, it's gonna be by the same damn goddess who killed the only fucking person I've ever cared about!" Varrick felt oddly offended by that statement, he narrowed his eyes slightly and sadly buried his head into Anni's neck, pulling the human closer to him for utmost comfort.
"Oh whatever, you're just jealous and you know what, I know what you're scared of," Anni could feel the power of her alternate self, a few meters away from her and her friends, like she was just by her side— her aura was terrifying. It was like her hands smashing her body, pushing her to the ground. Just standing there was hard, and all she could do was repeat the same phrase; 'please don't kill me for saying this,' "You're scared of being close to people, you're scared that if you get close to anyone like you did with Ris, something bad will happen and you'll get hurt again....you and I may be different but we both have the same fears. So stop acting like you're all high and mighty."
Ocv-Anni's heart accelerated. She observed her fingers. They were the same as when she had stretched them towards Ris, seconds before her life was taken by the blue–haired devil. Anni could still see her eyes being engulfed by black— smoke even emitting from them. She could hear her voice echoing her name, the pain she felt once she reached the floor alone. And the darkness, "DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT NAME! YOU DON'T GET TO SAY HER NAME, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO LOSE SOMEONE LIKE THAT!" Her fist struck the wall near them, causing the unstable wall to collapse beneath the strength of her fist. The entire house they were hiding in almost collapsed, with most of it already being obliterated. Light steam emitted from her fist, from the pure strength and velocity from the punch.
Everyone watched in sympathy as ocv-Anni hyperventilated, smoke still engulfing her fists while she glared at her freckled alternate self. Vince glided his hands to her shoulder, in an attempt to calm the shadow proxy, but she only shoved him off and turned on her heel, towards the forest.
"I'm going out to let off some steam."

Hello....I am here for more angst. Part two to the Anni leaving fic....and I have ideas. Could you also do the before the other request?Unless you already started the other one.....but Buckle up. So you can use the info from discord, I don't want this ask to be super long....
But to summarize, Anni works for the FBI, she gets involved with a huge case involving Slender and the others and Anni has to play dumb. Slender finds this out and tasks Varrick to watch her since Varrick knows her the best. Now this is where you can use the inspo from the clip I sent you on discord...but Anni is trying to talk to someone about the murders and turns out they aren't keen on talking and Anni ends up having the worst day of her life and she gets peppered sprayed, almost killed by the person who maced her, but she manages to shoot them before anything happens and she ends up in the woods. Varrick finds her and asks why she didn't expose them all and she says she'd never do that and then they start talking and she ends up saying, "I always loved you Varrick, in fact..I don't think I ever stopped....but just let me go...I mean if you really are happy with Amber...then i'm happy for you.." Anni saw Varrick's phone at the diner and connected two with two.
Then speaking of the devil, Amber was spying on them, she was wondering what Varrick had been doing in the human world so much and Anni says some funny insult. "Oh, your still alive. Then again i'm not surprised, you always reminded me of a roach, nothing is ever able to kill them.." and Amber tries to kill Anni, punching her and then using her own gun against her, but Varrick stops her and tells Amber that he'll kill Anni he points the gun at her and Anni says. "I don't blame you...just go ahead..." and Anni actually gives up for once. Varrick just looks at her, his face unreadable and he kills Amber instead.
The rest is up to you....I love how I said I didn't want this to be a book and yet I still wrote a book...sorry, if this is too much then don't worry about it..and if you have any questions then shoot them over to me.

Anni walked down the snow-ridden yard with two escorts by her side. Her hair was pinned up on the back of her head and she wore a tight black skirt along with a white blouse with tall, black high boots clasped on her feet. A pair of slightly thick rimmed, sunglasses glasses situated themselves on the bridge of her nose and a soft glare of pink lip gloss glistened off her lips. She came to a halt when police tape covered the house and one of her escorts pulled it up. The three entered the scene and Anni pulled off her glasses, setting them down on a table cluttered with papers and books. Anni walked up to a man clad in a gray suit staring through a one sided window of the house,
"Good afternoon, Leon." She placed her coat down on the table next to her glasses. Leon looked over his shoulder and turned with a smile,
"Ah, Anni, good afternoon." The two shook hands and Anni walked to the window, staring at her , "You're early."
"I thought that I should get here early for a good start. I was reading over his file last night again before bed, he's quite the handful."
"Aris Hexton, AKA what is known as a "Giggler", possibly responsible for twelve deaths. We can't take him until we've proven that he was involved with these sick cases. He is just a piece of what we have so far on the 'Slenderman file.', or whatever it's called." He looked over at her and his face held solemnity and concern, as she pretended not to know a Giggler was. "No other member will observe him; you are brave to take him on yourself, and the first woman." A small smile formed on Anni's lips as she nodded,
"I'm not scared."
"Are you ready to go in? I'm going to send three officers in with you for your safety." Anni shook her head and looked over at Leon, a piece of hair falling in front of her face,
"No, sending in officers this time won't let me try and complete my duties. I need to earn his trust, get inside his head, or I won't gain the information I'll need to interrogate him." Leon walked over to a car and pulled out a journal book. He handed it to her, complete with a pen, with a smile,
"Here, your own journal to record your findings. I know you're incredibly good at recording information in your head, but just in case." Anni took it in her hands and smiled,
"Thank you." She walked through the next layer of police tape around the house and pulled it up, stepping into the room. She turned and put her hands down in front of her, staring at her patient. His head hung low with his eyes closed and she noticed his hands were cuffed, "Hello again, Aris." His hand let out a small twitch and his head rose, a pair of pink eyes staring straight at her. She walked over to the chair across from him and placed her notebook on the table, the pen right next to it. He watched her every movement and the movements to him were as if time stood still. Anni stared at him, retaking all his features.
He had pink occupying his face from weeks and months of being unable to shave or handle a razor. He had Akuma's symbol on his forearm. The one thing that scared Anni about this guy were his incredibly piercing eyes. They were pink, no pupil and no iris coloration in them whatsoever. She was trained to read the eyes of the people she interrogated, their motives especially. But she could see nothing in his eyes, only an unknown lust.
She felt those pink eyes stare right through her soul.
"Anni……what are you doing here?"
"Just came to talk Mr. Hexton,"
"N—no, you c—came HAHAHA— to try and get inside my delightful mind, isn't t–that right?" Anni tapped her pen on the table as she thought for a moment, contemplating on where to start first. She put the pen down and clasped her hands together, leaning forward on the table with her elbows resting against it. Aris narrowed his eyes as he fumbled with his fingers, his movements becoming slightly erratic,
"Well, I didn't get to talk to you much last time; your self-induced seizure got in the middle of that."
"I wasn't feeling very good that day. Didn't feel much for talking." His pink eyes began to glaze over and they widened at her features. Anni took a breath,
"Well, are you going to comply with me this time?" She asked politely and heard him chuckle lightly a smile creeping along his cheeks as he stared at her,
"I'll do my best." His husky voice echoed in the room, causing a small shudder to go down her spine. Anni opened a notebook and began to jot down a few words,
"What was your family like when you were younger?" She asked and his eyes moved down to his hands, his face began to twitch slightly. There were a few moments of silence before he spoke,
"Not much to my family. I wouldn't be here if we all lived happily ever after. I don't remember them."
"Just give me a brief decree on what it was like so I can help you." Aris stopped and looked up at Anni with a snarl that had turned into a smile. He laughed a bit and fiddled with his hands, picking at the scabs on his skin as he licked his lips. Slowly, his pink eyes stared up at Anni once again, making another shiver go up her spine with unease,
"Let's talk about you, Anni…." Anni's eyebrows knitted and her eyes narrowed,
"Why would we do that? This interview is about you." He snickered to himself and looked back down to his hands,
"Do you know what's so great about killing, Anni? It's the adrenaline, the excitement, and the liberation I get when I listen to my victims' plea for their lives. Oh, and when that blood hits my hands… it's like sticking yourself with meth for the first time… it's the greatest high I can get." He clasped his hands together, leaning forward as his black eyes glistened, clear excitement washing over his face, "But I'm sure you know that. You know that all too well. Weren't you a Slenderman proxy? I remember you." He smiled and Anni shifted uncomfortably from where she was standing. She didn't really realize what she was in for, "I remember you so well… you bleed so, so gorgeously and gracefully."
"We're not talking about me, Mr. Hexton. Please, stick to my questions."
She asked politely once again and he leaned forward even closer to Anni. She looked up from her journal and saw the evil smirk across his face,
Everything seemed to move faster than Anni expected and shock filled her body, rendering her completely defenseless and unknowing to what was going on. He charged at her and had pulled out pepper spray, spraying her eyes and throwing her to the ground roughly. He didn't have much time to try and end her life as much as he wanted when Leon and Chirs entered the scene to stop him. Aris then gripped the handle of the knife and jammed it down as hard as he could, feeling the guards grabbing him. Just as they yanked him away, he forced the knife down further into her body and it cut through her shorts, meeting with her skin and slicing deeply into her hip. She gasped out in pain as Aris shouted and fought against the grasp of the guards, "L—let me go! I-I-I want to w—watch her bleed! She left me! She left us! You can't do this to me— YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ME FOREVER." They hadn't questioned what he was saying about Anni, they assumed he was being hysterical.
The men dragged him out of the house he had been staying in and Leon ran to Anni's side, "Anni-!"
Anni slightly pushed him aside— stumbling her feet in the snow and limping as her hands tightly grasped her eyes, squinting and desperately trying to blink the pain from her eyes. She ran into the forest, as her vision blurred drastically.
— . — . —
Varrick was about to leave the human world when his eyes caught a familiar figure in their line of vision. For a second, he remembered when he thought had gotten it wrong but there was no way he would mistake the face he had missed so much – hers. Anni looked so healthy, so happy. Gone were the days when her aura emanated a certain fatigue, gone were the days she was hurt because of the mansion— because of proxy work— because of him. Anni looked so much better than when she was with him. It was understandable, really. He had been a prick to her after all; she deserved the happiness after all he put her through all those years ago. Leaving her at the mansion to fend for herself, to overhear her cries while he worked with Zalgo, to see her become victim to the slender-sickness. Perhaps this all was punishment to him— punishment for his cruelty towards her.
He remembered how his free hand clenched into a fist as he watched her smile, with a man that was not him.
Before, his father was the only person he could think of when he unconsciously craved such support.
Before.
Before her.
He saw her, wherever he went, with the slightest flash of brown hair or the gentle tint of auburn eyes that anyone carried within their features. His mind would piece together these diminished details and morph together her face, even if the person that bared the slightly similar traits looked nothing like her. And when Amber would kiss him, his eyes would close and he would be unable to focus on the lips against his, he would try to trail his thoughts elsewhere because he knew that if he let himself fall into the feeling of the kiss...he would see her instead of his girlfriend. It was bad. It might have been one of the reasons why was he so anxious in his relationship with Amber, because somewhere inside he knew that she was not the one he wished to hold.
Granted, he knew he didn’t deserve her. Not after all the shit he pulled in his younger years. The tears she shed were wasted on the likes of him. On scumbags like him.
Varrick became conscious of the value that his luck, the privilege to be loved by her, back then held. The feeling in his chest suffocated him. I deserve it, he thought.
Although he was selfish to no end, he recognized that she definitely deserved someone better than him.
Someone who treasured her more than themselves,
Someone who treated her right,
Someone who would and could give her their entire world if needed,
Someone who managed to grace her face with a smile instead of tears,
Someone who didn’t break her heart.
Someone who wasn’t Varrick Smith.
Tears ran across his face. Her words resonated deeply in his heart. As if he could feel the pain that she had gone through because of him, he broke down, sobbing uncontrollably. The realization came too late.
A thousand words – no, not even a trillion words of apology could reverse the damage he had done to her.
Loathing his existence and what his younger self had done to her, the broken man found himself sobbing even harder. Eventually, Varrick fell depressed with crystalline tears dropping from his eyes.
He wanted to feel the calmness that came with her touch, so much so that sometimes it would manifest in his mind and play tricks on him to make him believe the memory was real, that her touch was real. This was something he was so used to. When he had nothing else to think of when he held Amber's hand or held her in his arms when he became too angered and needed to calm down. So it was no surprise that, as he walked through the forest, he saw her.
From the bottom of his heart, he wished for hsr happiness. And if her happiness meant him never appearing in front of her eyes ever again, he would gladly do so.
The gentle gaze of her scarred skin, the sudden wave of peace as if he suddenly felt like it would all be alright, the disappearing self-doubt, it was something he had imagined plenty of times during his time back home. But this time it was different, in place of the false reality his mind had created of the calming but cold touch was a real sensation. The warmth of an actual human hand and not the replacement of a memory. He stopped, snapping his head around quickly and looking back, trying to confirm to himself that this was in fact real.
The intonation, the leveled voice, the formation of words, it was all exactly the same and yet somehow so different -but he would recognize it anywhere. Varrick took a slight step forward, leaning his weight to the side a bit to try and examine the face of the speaker. "You...Anni? Is that…you?"
At this the figure's head lifted, allowing light to fall over the shadows her hair casted over her face. His heartfelt as if it suddenly began clenched as if he had skipped a bit as the gentle features of the familiar girl came into view. She seemed different, and she was about to speak when something came over her face. Anni sighed, "Yeah…it's me."
It felt like hours had gone by and the cold air bit at Anni's skin through the open front of her jacket. Her eyes burned like an intense fire and her chest grew incredibly sore from her over working lungs. Softly, the first peeks of the daylight began to paint the forest around her as she mentally thanked the morning hours. For the first time in a while, she could see where she was going, but to her misfortune, she didn't know exactly where she was. All the trees began to mesh together as she jogged down an old deer path, her feet crunching against the leaves below her feet. Her panting was steady and tiring as she slowed, looking over her shoulder and seeing she had gained some distance between her and a small strain of her co-workers that continued to search for her.
Varrick's face haunted her mind and the look her had when she jumped over the face almost made her break out in tears once again.
"What the hell are you doing here?" She looked up when she heard Varrick's scruffy voice aim itself towards her. He stared down at her with his amber eyes, leaning down and grabbing her journal from off the ground.
"I got pepper-sprayed while working. Ended up here, I guess." Her voice was soft and frail from the pain in her body. The wound she suffered from was still not completely healed and her weak immune system constantly made her sick. Varrick's eyes took notice to her shivering skin and he quickly stripped off his jacket,
"Here, take this."
"No, Varrick, I'll be fine-" He yanked her stained jacket off her and slid his jacket over her shoulders, silencing her with the sudden heat. His warm skin incubated the jacket and she shuddered from the sudden warmth, gripping onto the flaps and pulling it closed. Her eyes were thankful as she stared back at him,
"Come on, there's a bed in there with your name on it." Her thumbs rubbed up against the soft leather of Varrick's jacket and a flash of the angel wings burned through her eyes. Anni attempted to atand, cautiously stepping up the snowy steps of the path leading back to her co-workers. Her foot caught an edge and she tripped, sliding across the snow and feeling the stinging cold of ice eating at her skin.
"Are you alright!?" She felt warm hands on her shoulders and turned to meet his eyes, seeing her crouching down to help Anni to her feet. "Give me your hand." Varricj gripped Anni's hand tightly and her weak muscles strained to get back to her feet. With whatever sickness she was suffering from, it made her very weak and tired.
"Get that jacket back on you before you get sick." Anni looked down to see Varrick's jacket lying helplessly in the snow. She narrowed her eyes and she quickly retrieved the jacket, smacking all the powdered snow off and resting it over her forearm. The jacket has succumbed to the snow's wetness and was no longer useful in warming her skin.
"You….you got hurt for…us." Varrick started, anxiously biting the inside of his cheek as he narrowed his eyes at the bright snow, "Why?"
"I didn't—" Anni attempted to skillfully lie through her teeth, before Varrick irritatingly shook his head.
"You did. I know what your new job is looking for, and who you interrogated. I saw it all. And yet…you didn't say anything about what you actually know. You didn't even give them a lead on the Gigglers, because you knew they'd eventually find out about the mansion— you must have known it would eventually get you hurt. So….why?" Feeling a set of incredibly warm hands latch onto hers, she opened her eyes to see Varrick knelt down in front of her. He cupped her hands in his and breathed slowly onto her skin, trying to warm her hands up. Goosebumps fluttered up her arms as his hot breath managed to break through her cold flesh. His lips made her hands tingle and his presence made her feel utterly secure. She curled her fingers and he looked up into her brown eyes as he leaned her up against a tree.
"You know I'd never do that. You guys..were like family to me." She whispered and he slowly dropped their hands into her lap, staring into her eyes. He caught himself quickly and stood back to his feet,
A tear immediately slides down your left cheek, and you didn’t even realize you were on the verge of tears until Anni finished speaking. He can’t even properly respond to her, "Then…why did you leave all those years ago? You left us all, without a word— and never seemed to look back."
"I wish I could give you a solid answer. But things like these…they're more complicated than that, things don't just…happen— they build up. It's not like I left just because I felt like it, it was more to that," Anni takes the time to inhale a huge breath, oxygen exhausted from her trying to speak through her hot and sad tears, "Just because I left, it doesn't mean I don't care. I don't see why it would matter to you. You should be happy with her, Varrick. Just…move on."
"What? What are you talking about?" The words feeling foreign to him as he whispers them. He cocks his head in confusion at her words.
"I'm not stupid, you know. I saw who kept calling you at the diner. I always loved you Varrick, in fact..I don't think I ever stopped....but just let me go, I mean if you really are happy with Amber...then I'm happy for you.." Wiping her eyes quickly, Anni sees Varrick giving her an uneasy but still costive expression. Varrick doesn’t make any movement, not knowing what to say, and she decides to end it here for him, "I don't have the heart to ruin the nice thing you have going with her. I've ruined enough."
"Damn right. And if I were you, I'd run back to your little job before this gets fucking ugly." Amber appears out of literal norwhere— clenching her jaw tightly and grinding her teeth. Her teeth clenching as a wave of emotions wash over her, her boyfriend only stares at her in shock. She refused to lower her voice under any circumstances but here he was on the receiving end of it.
"Oh, you're still alive. Then again i'm not surprised, you always reminded me of a roach, nothing is ever able to kill them.." Anni smirked. Amber could feel her hands beginning to tremble. Not from shock, but from utter rage. She kept it internal the best she could. Somehow, she had always managed to stay alive, and Anni was bound to find out how she did so. Like Anni always said, Amber was far too stubborn to die.
Amber growled and moved her arm up, charging at her and reeling her fist back, before nailing it into her face.
"Amber, stop it!"
"I don't blame you...just go ahead..." Blood cascaded from her nose, little droplets of blood falling against the snow as Anni looked up at her, eyebrows slightly furrowing as Amber only smirked.
"Gladly." Amber sneered. Anni finally managed to take a breath of fresh air as the onslaught of punches to her face halted, her brown eyes opening and taking a look. Her fingers grew numb against the influence of the cold snow, Anni leaning up as she stared down the barrel of her own gun. A sly smirk brewed on the lips of the demon as she watched Anni look through the barrel of her gun, seeing no sparks of fear in her eyes. Anni choked down whatever was in her throat, nothing but Varrick, Cassie, and the rest of her friends flying through her mind in her last seconds of life. Her jaw tightened and he gritted her teeth, closing her eyes and just waiting for it all to be over.
Amber's sharp cries echoed through the air and Anni's eyes popped open, seeing her fall to the ground and blood seeping out of a back wound. Anni looked up at her savior, watching as none other than Varrick ramming the wooden hilt of his knife against the back of her head, knocking her to the ground before literally stabbing in the back— then the head. A bloody knife was cradled in his hand, his chest heaving in pants as his golden eyes stared back at her. Anni couldn't believe how undetected he was; the way he came out of nowhere at the last second to save the day. In her last dying moments, he glared down at her, "I'm breaking up with you."

I AM HERE TO COMMENCE ANGST VARRICK HOURS!
So Anni notices that Varrick had been acting weird all day, like he's just being more aggressive than usual, kinda jumpy and on edge, and he seems to be muttering to himself every once in a while.
Anni isn't sure what to think about it but she decides to take a walk and when she comes back, she can hear crashing and yelling coming from inside her cabin so she practically sprints up the stairs and yanks open the door to find Varrick in the middle of his room and its trashed. There's broken glass and papers everywhere, clothes are thrown across his room, there are pictures of her littered around his room, and there's even a hole in his wall from him punching it. Anni is obviously shocked and saddened to find Varrick just curled up into a ball, having bloody knuckles and he's just crying and muttering random things. So Anni slowly comes up to him and kneels down to ask whats going on but he just sandwiches her in a tight hug and sobs into her neck.
(The rest is up to you, i'm just looking for some good Angst and then a crumb of comfort! TYSM BTW!!! SEND ME MORE REQUESTS WHEN YOU ARE UP FOR IT!)

In the corner of her eye, Anni watched Varrick toss his knife angrily to the ground and stalk back into the garage. Anni shook her head and chewed on her thumbnail restlessly, her arms crossing as she let out an exasperated. She didn't know what the hell was going on with Varrick lately and it bothered her in wondering why her friend was acting the way he was. He was moody, more moody than usual, and he was taking to the bars almost every night. Anni knew that if she asked him outright that she wouldn't get an answer anywhere close to what she asked for.
Anni shook his head and got rid of the thoughts. Varrick was just acting like a whiney school girl going through a hell age of puberty. She needed to clear her head, to be completely honest, she wasn't at all in the mood for his antics.
Anni's hand gently combed through the growing brown strands that fell messily right over her shoulders. The tips of the hair were slightly jagged, but she never minded this. The wind blew against her, whisking against her skin and rustling the grass around her, she enjoyed the coolness if offered. Spring had begun now, it had come later than usual, the brisk and floral hints that had hinted in the air during summer no longer left any trace.
She stepped carefully over logs and through a thicket of bushes as she made way through the woodwork. Her eyes kept a lookout for what exactly she was looking for and finally, she stopped and stared at what stood before her. The white flowers bore their brightness into her eyes with their long, thin petals and yellow tint that airbrushed over the bud. They were living, breathing Georgian White Lilies and Anni had only seen them once in her lifetime. But never did she forget their beauty and the rarity that they held. Softly, she knelt down in the small bed of flowers and picked a couple of the large lilies from the dirt. Only nine were grown in the area and it was one of the rarest flowers.
Perhaps she would pick some for Varrick, so maybe he'd stop being such an ass.
— . — . —
Icy wind blowing from different directions.
Visible stars twinkling high in the night's sky,
competing to out-shine the full luminous moon. Towering trees swaying gently with the aid of the howling breeze. Huddled bushes gruffing as baby deers and innocent bunnies hastily mistake the flowering shrubs of daphnes as a safe haven. Anni had been outside longer than she'd expected, it surprised her.
She waltzed leisurely to her home, only to discover Varrick's body motionlessly lying on the bitter-cold ground, as the pupils of his eyes trembled. Anni's stunned orbs held a torturing stare-contest with the messed up cabin— shattered glass had been sprinkled all over the place, along with red droplets of blood that trailed all over the floor. The very same eyes that were once brimmed with endearing emotions such as love and care were now left being spiritless and dull— she recognized that look, Zalgo must have been haunting him again.
As she makes her way to Varrick, she notices a punctured hole into the wooden wall, and the bits of debris that were scattered alongside it. She managed to push past the piles of clothing that disorganized, and nearly tripped over his knocked down dresser— she constantly almost trips over things, and it shocked her how much mess he's caused in the short amount of time she had been gone. He trembled with sunken eyes and bruised fists, surrounded by pictures of her that were huddled incredibly close to his body.
"Varrick—?" She kneeled down, gently pushing a strand of hair out of his face, "What the hell is going on? Are you alright?" She felt several arrows piercing through her pounding heart - all carrying different emotions but in the same category of negativity.
Varrick's breathing was uneven, he had brought up his left arm and used it to cover his eyes limply before seemingly falling back into a feverish hallucinative state. Anni sighed a bit, observing the man as his chest moved up and down with his breathing, "Varrick? Hello—?" Anni looked down at him.
Anni pushed herself up higher on her knees, leaning over the man's body and reaching for the picture he had tossed aside as well as one of the strange papers that had slipped from him. The moment Anni's hand made contact with the picture she felt a hand grip her side, it startled her into trying to pull herself back to her original sitting position.
Anni wasn't able to, the hand gripped onto her clothes tightly and was then followed by swooping legs that kicked her knees out from under her. Varrick then used his momentum and his grip on her side to remove himself from under her before she hit the floor. In the blink of an eye, Varrick had flipped her under him and placed each knee beside her hips to pin her in place. One arm came down right beside Anni's head, whilst his other he used to swiftly lean down and press his forearm against her throat. Varrick panted slightly, even though he was clearly strong enough to pin her down it appeared like it took all of his strength.
Surprise wrapped within Anni's eyes as he stared up at her, pressed down against the floor, and felt the pressure of Varrick's weight against her throat as he used his arm to pin her further. "Varrick! Get off me, you idiot!" She was finally able to vocalize her thoughts, squirming under the glaring man.
"You won't get rid of me that easily, Zalgo." Varrick's voice seemed hazed with unknown emotions, almost as if his anger wasn't directed at Anni but someone else. He hadn't seemed to notice it was Anni he had been talking to. The hallucinations must have been getting bad.
Irritation grew within Anni, she felt the vein on her forehead throbbing slightly as she glared in annoyance at him. "You're the one sitting here like a sick child, now get off me, you idiot!" Anni reached up and pushed, about to grip onto his hair or collar to try and flip him off him. Before Anni's hand could come in contact with his clothing, Varrick seemed to take on a saddened expression and his eyes flickered about slightly. It was like he was trapped somewhere other than that room, he seemed slightly frightened of something. His strength slowly gave out, the arm he had placed behind her head collapsing and causing his body to fall over hers. "H-Hey!" Anni shouted, cheeks reddening slightly.
Varrick let out a pained mumble, his eyes had fluttered closed the moment he collapsed on top of her. "A–Anni? Oh my god.." Tears started to trickle from his eyes, as he mumbled into her skin, "You're alive. You're…alive. I was so worried— I-I thought…" Her look of annoyance quickly melted into worry once again, what was happening with him?
"I'm here, Varrick. I'm here." Anni reassured gently, threading her fingers in his hair to comfort his panicked state. "I'm not going anywhere, I promise." Suddenly, as if a dam had broken, he sobbed and hiccups. The sobs erupted from his body uncontrollably, as he pressed messy kisses alongside her skin in pure relief that she was okay— that she had been safe from Zalgo.
"He's bothering me again. He— won't stop. I'm afraid he's g—gonna—" He had been hyperventilating rapidly, he could barely breathe, "H—he might—"
"Deep breaths." Anni reminded him.
Varrick began to sob as he couldn't keep all his emotions in check. He had bottled up all his grief and did what he could to keep it locked up. He thought that he had come to terms with the thoughts that he wouldn't see any of his friends again, and the beloved woman that he had by his side. Her brown eyes, her amazing smile, and that warm kiss that always lit his fire flooded his mind uncontrollably. All because of Zalgo.
Anni grabbed him into a hug from behind, tightly keeping her arms wrapped around his chest. Varrick felt a few tears roll down his cheek, "I don't want you to die... I don't wanna be in this world without you."
"I'm alive, Varrick." Anni said calmly and quietly from underneath him, "Don't let the thought of what could have been let you think otherwise. Nothing is going to happen. I can handle myself." He had to stop thinking about his obvious thoughts and start thinking more practical thoughts. He knew that Anni was strong, she had been through a lot, and he knew she could take care of her own when it came down to it.

A/N; Kellin finally getting some coochie
Word count; 2,239
Anni and Kellin had been relentlessly teasing each other while they had been walking back to the mansion— constant stupid jokes being thrown at each other. Kellin ended up laughing so hard that he reopened one of his wounds— much to Anni's dismay. She had forced him to go up to her room, but he only agreed to follow her on one condition. If he got to carry her up to her room.
“Hey, can you put me down now?” Anni stammered out, suddenly unable to look him in the eyes. Thankfully he obliged and sat down at the bed in her pathetic excuse for a clean room.
“I-uh I’m going to go get some bandages …  Do you want any?”
Kellin seemed to ponder on your question before sarcastically snorting out, “Nah, I’d rather bleed out.” An arm is thrown over her shoulder holding her in place startling her out of her trance. A blush quickly erupted onto her face, as she swiftly pushed him off of her—
“F-fine then, bleed out!” Shit, now he knew she was embarrassed.
“C'mon don’t be that way … I know you were checking me out, short-stack.” Anni flushed at his words. Of all the nicknames he had for her, that was the one she hated most.
“OH MY GOD SHUTUP!” Anni shrieked, before storming into the bathroom, to grab the first aid kit. He heard her pounding steps before he saw her. She must be really pissed now.
“Here. Bandage yourself, asshole.” Anni hissed, slamming the gauze onto the table and quickly turning around to check on her own injuries.
“Ow, my feelings.” He snorted, lips quirked up into a self-satisfying grin.
“Suck it up.” She efficiently snapped back. Kellin let out a brazen laugh at her choice of words, setting fire to her cheeks and the tips of her ears.
Her brown-haired enemy sauntered over to her and slung an arm around her neck. He pulled her in close. “Don’t worry Anni. You’re still cute even though you’re so tiny. Especially when you make that angry face of yours,” he cooed in a way he knew would annoy her the most.
Without much protest, she simply gave a huff and pushed the auburn-capped man away, chalking up her lack of response to being too tired from a hard day’s work. She had lost the little teasing battle, and that only gave her good-for-nothing friend delight.
"Idiot…"
He didn’t respond, but she felt him behind her. Anni felt him grip her shoulder, and she could feel the prowess and strength that he had in one hand. Well. Shit. He forced her to turn around by pulling her shoulder forward. When her gaze met him, his eyes were so playful. A slow exhale slipped past her lips, and she shivered slightly with delight; unconsciously shrinking away from him slightly. A smirk covered his features now, and his hand squeezed her shoulder gently. “Help me put on the bandages.” she only obeyed because she hadn’t been thinking straight, if she had been, he would have gotten bandages thrown at him instead of help.
Anni huffed, shaking off the sexual tension growing between the two of them and instead, trying to focus on the deep cut on his chest. “How did this even happen? I JUST patched you up. You're such a dork..” Anni wasn't able to see his expression since she had moved to the sink to grab a clean rag from the desk. But if she had seen it she would have freaked out. He, for the most part, was staring at her ass. In his classic 'easily flustered nature', blush started to arise onto his cheeks as he shook his head slightly. She walks back to him, pushing him onto his back with a little blush on her face. The tension between them started to arise again, and it only got worse when Kellin started to trace his hands along her abdomen.. she could no longer handle it.
Anni's warm lips pressed up against his, making a tremor of indulgence pulse through his body. Anni rested her hand on his cheek and pushed up against him, Kellin leaning back, letting her do her bidding. She swung her leg over him, straddling his waist as she kept her lips locked on his. One hand kept her elevated, her other caressed his chest and her fingernails gently feeling across the white bandages clasped to his skin. He smelled so good. With what lingering joy that was still left in her body, her senses still had some sort of sharpness to them. Scent, touch, taste; it was all so invigorating.
Kellin's hands couldn't help but explore, even though his mind was still mildly against the situation he was in. His hands tingled at the touch of her soft legs, his fingers scaling up to the boundary that were her jagged shorts. Feeling her fingernails scraping down his shirt made his heart hasten; he desperately wanted to feel those nails on his bare skin. He could taste his favorite brand of whiskey on her lips; sudden flashbacks of the one night on the island where he had pulled Anni into a compromising position. He may have been drunk, but he remembered that kiss they had. It was something he was never able to forget.
Anni finally broke the long kiss and leaned up, immediately stripping her shirt off of her upper body. She tossed it to the floor and stared down at him, her brown eyes vivid with anticipation. Kellin's jaw tightened at the look she was giving him; also not being able to tear his eyes from her shirtless composure. The only thing keeping her from being completely shirtless was that strapless bra hugging her bosom. Anni tilted her head at him, seeing the hesitation in his eyes. There was a battle brewing in that head of his.
"What's wrong?" She asked, seeing Kellin struggling not to look at her nakedness. She rolled her eyes, "Think you're taking advantage of me?"
"Just don't want you..." Kellin almost bit his tongue, "Regretting it later." As he spoke those words, he looked down to her thin abdomen, seeing that still-healing scar from the knife that was wedged into her skin.
"I won't regret a thing." Anni said and Kellin's blue eyes met with her stare,
"You say that now." Kellin said sternly and Anni shook her head, leaning over his face as her brown locks dangled off her shoulders,
"I don't regret one thing when it comes to you. What makes you think I'm going to start now?" She whispered to him, her free hand pressing up against hers cheek, "Are you afraid that things will change between us?"
"I don't know." Kellin said, obviously lying about the real reason. Sex always preceded an awkward, regretful situation after the fact with practically every girl he had been with.
Anni got closer to Kellin's face, her lips brushing up against his, "Let me prove it to you..."
Anni pushed her soft lips against his once again, reached up behind her back to let go of the tightness around her chest. Kellin's heart slammed against his sternum when he felt the soft material of her bra drop down onto him. Anni took no time to toss it aside and slumped down, her breasts pressed up against him. Kellin shuddered at the sudden warmth of her body on his, blood rushing through his body with eagerness. He feverishly kissed back, finally letting himself go. 'Just trust her... don't think about it anymore.' he thought to himself. His hands finally traveled her body more, this time, up her tight back and across her smooth hips.
His fingers crossed the light chasm of her healing scar and her felt her lightly flinch at the touch. But she paid it no mind, keeping those intoxicating lips fastened on what she wanted. He felt her tongue traverse his bottom lip, and he couldn't help but return the favor. Anni breathed in sharply when she felt his hand slide up her ribs and his thumb brush up the side of her breast. Underneath her, she could feel the warmth of his waist lighting up with excitement, causing her thrill to intensify. She broke the kiss once again and leaned up, her fingers nimbly picking at the button of her shorts.
She slowly slipped her hand into his drawers and he inhaled sharply when he felt her soft hand grab onto his member. Anni gently pulled it out of his pants, signaling to Kellin exactly what she wanted. Her hand let go and her fingernails lightly raked up his stomach, smiling when she saw the dazed look on Kellin's face. He then lowered his waist and Anni bit on her lip when she felt the warmth of him rub up against her wetness. Her jaw chattered in anticipation, and before she knew it, she had finally gotten what she so desperately wanted. Anni's fingernails dug into Kellin's back as her own arched, her mouth gaped open and her head tilted back. His entirety was finally inside her and the sensation was almost overpowering to both of them. Kellin's jaw was tight with bliss as he slid into her, she felt so slick and perfect all around him. She was tighter than he was expecting her to be; how could a girl as stunning and charming be like this?
He paid it no mind as he began to rock his hips to and fro, sliding back and in, grunting under his breath with each push. He opened his blue eyes and stared at Anni, his mind leaping when he watched her face twist and turn with satisfaction. Anni whimpered and gasped, her fingers wrapping around the back of Kellin's neck and dug her nails into him once again. Kellin's hand slid down her leg as she wrapped it around his back. Anni's stuttered breaths clashed against his face as she pressed her forehead against hers, pushing back against him and he continued to thrust into her. Her fingers tangled into the comforter on the hotel bed below the pair. Anni began to move her hips and clench her muscles, a light smile crossing her lips when she felt Kellin grip onto her leg tightly.
"Harder... please." She managed to breathe out. She didn't have to say anymore for Kellin wanting to obey every word that came from her mouth and every movement that her body made.
His strong hips slammed up against her and a loud whimper rolled out of her throat. He removed his hand from her thigh and wrapped his forearm under the small of her back, pressing her up against him. She twitched each time he swept in and out of her, the inebriating pleasure not only rolling through her, but him as well. Her wet, warm walls were intoxicating and it was hard to keep that animal he had inside kept under control.
Anni's breathing started to become more erratic the harder and faster Kellin pounded. Her fingers trembled on the back of his neck, but as she could feel her body lighting up, her hands smacked onto his back. Her claws scraped along his back, and as they did, they passed ridges of skin that barely registered in her mind. She bit down on her lip and held her breath, trying to stifle the moans that were trying to escape her throat. She only listened; listened to the grunts and staggered breathing from Kellin's mouth, making her thrilled with delight.
In the pit of her stomach, a sensation sparked and slowly crawled up Anni's spine. She knew very well what followed the last few moments of that sensation. Even though she didn't want it to end so abruptly, she welcomed that pleasurable ecstasy that Kellin had finally given to her. Kellin could feel her muscles tightening around him and with his mind set; he worked his hips faster and pushed into her harder. Her hands tremored on his skin and she pressed her forehead against his collar bone, closing her eyes and feeling her heart pounding in her chest.
— . — . —
Varrick's eyes narrowed slightly, as his hand aggressively tightened around the bottle of whiskey he had been drinking. No words could describe how much he wanted to beat Kellin to an absolute pulp from the noises he had been hearing from upstairs— the bottle was on the verge of shattering underneath his intimidating grip. It didn’t help that Zalgo had been messing with his mind lately, and there was a possibility that he had been blaming those emotions on Kellin. "Fuckin' hell…I'll kill that son of a bitch."
"Why are you so pissed? It's not like you're even dating her." Fang questioned out of genuine curiosity, as she raised a brow at Varrick's jealous behavior. Fang saw his eyebrows twitch in annoyance, his nose wrinkling, and mouth twisting into a grimace. "Ohhh— are you jealous because you have a small dick or something?"
A popped vein appeared on his face.
"It's okay, it's actually common for men to hav—" A glass bottle had been thrown straight at her face, shattering on impact as she stumbled onto the ground. A little blood staggered from her nose, and trailed down her face as she looked up at him curiously, "Geez…struck a nerve there, huh? I guess you do—"
"I DON'T HAVE A SMALL DICK."

Hi there! So I have a few ideas, here's on for Oc-verse.
So Lucien gets dragged back By ocv Fang and Viper and just rants to The Shadows (Enids proxies) about how adorable and cute the humans from the Cp universe are. Everyone is sitting there like..."Wtf I sound so fucking weak." like Kellin is talking about how big of a pussy he seems and Lucien talks about human Anni and describes how small and "cute" she is and Varrick is like..oh? Ocv Anni obviously is not happy about being so "weak" in the other universe and she just scoffs and ignores Lucien. Demon Varrick though...he listens and gets curious. So he goes to Cp verse and finds Anni. She's in the woods and he kinda watches her until she spots him and just sees glowing eyes. In an attempt to run, she slips on a rock and hits her head on a tree root, and gets knocked out.
Waking up she sees this demon dude who is just staring at her, she is slightly concussed and very confused and he says who he is and she's like...."uhhhh....what?" but he just stares at her eyes, her freckles, how small she is, and even takes notice of her hands lmao. All in all its adorable and cute until Ocv Anni pops out of nowhere, pissed and annoyed and she tries to get Varrick to come back but he refuses and grasps onto human Anni. Ocv Anni, being pissed off, she just leaves and goes and finds someone else to intimidate and then flirt with lmao-
(tysm, this is a lot so no pressure and feel free to change or add anything!)

A/N: Lucien beng a little shit is so funny. He doesn't care if he's getting hateful glares, bro just keep TALKING. Lawd. Also, this isn't proofread, so if it doesn't make sense, I'm sorry- I was just writing and was hyperfocused. Writing without thinking?

Fang stood with her arms crossed, her eyes flashing with anger as Viper tried to defend himself. They were standing in a dimly lit alleyway, the only source of light coming from a flickering street lamp above them. Fang's long black hair whipped around in the wind as she glared at Viper— creatures of sorts crawled and scrambled amongst Nightmare's realm. The luminous sky above adorned not one— but three moons, all shining down on the three figures in the dark.
"Are you kidding me, Viper?" Fang spat, the little fox on her shoulder growling along with her, as if to emphasize her anger, "We were supposed to capture Lucien two hours ago! And now, because of your incompetence, we're going to be in so much trouble with Nightmare. What are we supposed to tell her?! That you got your feelings hurt, and fled to another realm?! I can't believe you decided to pull this stupid bullshit on the most unforgiving Goddess we've EVER worked for!"
Viper rolled his eyes and shrugged. "Well, maybe if you didn't reject me, this wouldn't have happened!" She retorted, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
Fang's eyes widened in disbelief. "This is not the time for this, Viper!" she shouted. "You're being unreasonable!"
Viper stepped closer to Fang, her face twisted in anger. "Unreasonable?" She growled. "You're the one who's always been so cold to me! Maybe if you had just given me a chance, we could have worked together better and caught our target on time. Maybe— I wouldn't have to resort to finding a Fang who would actually appreciate me!"
Fang shook her head in frustration, "This is not about us, Viper!" she yelled. "This is about our mission and our duty to Nightmare. You need to focus on the task at hand and stop bringing up irrelevant issues."
Viper took a step back, her anger deflating slightly. "I know," she mumbled. "I'm sorry. I just...I'm frustrated. I feel like I can't do anything right when it comes to you."
Fang softened slightly, her anger giving way to sympathy. "It's not about you, Viper," she said gently. "It's about our duty to Nightmare. We need to focus on that and get to our target before it's too late. Before we get a public execution— one slip up, and she's going to feel us to the rats."
Lucien was being dragged while tied up, his arms bound tightly behind his back as Fang stood before him, a look of determination on her face. She had finally caught him, after hours of chasing and battling him, and now she had him right where she wanted him. But Lucien was not deterred. Even in this precarious situation, he couldn't help but flirt with Fang. "You know, you're even more beautiful up close, and that other version of you? So adorable. " he said, his voice low and seductive.
Fang rolled her eyes, trying to ignore the way Viper audibly growled at this man— she had absolutely no time for their antics right now. "Save it, Lucien," she said sternly. "You're going to pay for what you've done."
Lucien smirked. He marveled at Fang's determination and the way her darkened eyes seemed to flicker like an unsettling fire. The radiant strength that seeped off her body was contagious, and being next to her, Lucien felt like he could stand up to anything that was in his way, "Oh, I'm sure I will," he said, his eyes roaming over Fang's body. "But maybe we can come to some kind of arrangement? I'm sure we could both benefit from a little...negotiation—"
"I will slaughter you, and feed you to my hyenas if you continue to flirt with her." Viper let out an unsettling growl emerge from her throat, her eyes glistening a mischievous glint as she reached for her scythe to deliver the last blow to Akuma's pathetic and irritatingly strong son— Lucien only laughed at her— her threats meant nothing to him.
The moon shone down on the deserted street, casting an eerie glow on the empty buildings and silent alleyways. It was a night of stillness and solitude, a time when most people had retreated to the safety of their homes. But then, out of nowhere, a group of figures appeared in the distance. They were cloaked in darkness, their movements swift and silent as they made their way towards Fang, Viper and Lucien. They called themselves "The Shadows," and their presence was enough to make Fang's skin crawl with absolute annoyance— what the hell were they doing in Nightmare's realm? Last time she remembered, they weren't allowed here.
As they approached, their condescending laughter rang out like the howls of wolves, echoing through the empty streets. Fang and Viper stood their ground, but they knew they were outnumbered and outmatched. The moonlight glinted off the blades and weapons that The Shadows held, casting a chilling glare across their faces.
"I'd never thought you would actually return, Fang. After all, you're still just a little human— you can barely fend for yourself." Anni laughed, their eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity, as if she was a creature of the night themselves. Fang felt a surge of anger and frustration. These Shadows had been a thorn in her side for months, always popping up when she least expected it, always causing trouble. She was tired of their games, tired of their taunts and their laughter.
But as they closed in around her, their menacing presence looming over her like a dark cloud, Fang knew she had to stay focused. She couldn't let her fear get the best of her, not when the lives of her friend and the safety of the city were at stake.
With a deep breath, Fang stepped forward, her eyes blazing with determination. "What do you want?" she demanded, her voice steady and strong.
"Hey! What's up guys? Was wondering when you would show up!" Lucien was clearly unable to sense the tension in the air— this air-head seemed to chat with just anybody, even if they considered him an enemy. "I need to tell you about the crazy fucking things I saw! You will never believe this— but you guys were all humans in this universe I went to!"
"Humans? What the hell are you talking about, Lucien?" As the night sky hung heavy above, a silvery luminescence cascaded down from the full moon, casting an ethereal glow upon the world below. It was in this otherworldly light that Vince finally showed his face in the street light. The moonlight seemed to dance upon his skin, illuminating every facet of his being.
"I wouldn't even talk to him if I were you, this guy is a complete fucking nutcase." Kellin rolled his eyes, also stepping into the comfort of the moonlight— his blades glinting. Despite his precarious situation, Lucien remained calm and collected. His mind was a steel trap, sharp and agile, and he used it to carefully consider his words as he spoke to The Shadow proxies that surrounded him.
"Oh yeah? Well, you can always see it for yourself, I have the exact portal coordinates," They loomed large, with faces that twisted and contorted in the flickering light, yet Lucien did not falter. He spoke with an air of confidence and authority, as if he were a scholar lecturing to a room full of eager students. "First of all— you should have seen Varrick, oh dude— he was human! A cocky human at that— he was much smaller of course, but man, that guy had some balls, I'll tell you that. He threatened to kick my ass so many times— even if he knows I could kill him, can you believe that?!" Lucien laughed loudly, his sounds of laughter echoing off the streets— causing Varrick to narrow his eyes slightly.
"A little human wasn't scared of the son of Akuma? He seems so brave, and confident— I like that in a man." Anni let a little smirk tug at her lips, putting her hand onto her hip as she listened to this tale that Lucien told. Varrick— who was right beside her— felt oddly offended.
"I'm confident too.." Varrick muttered quietly, while Anni slipped a hand onto his face, teasingly brushing her gloved hands against his sensitive and untouched skin.
"Oh please, we all know you're lying to yourself, Varrick. You just have to accept that there is a more handsome version of you out there." Anni teased, nudging the much larger man with her hip as he slumped with a little sigh. The Shadows listened intently, their forms shifting and swaying in response to Lucien's words.
"And Kellin! When I tried to speak to your human version, I kid you not, he started screaming because there was a spider on my shoulder! Never in my life, would I have thought I would hear any version of you scream. I couldn’t stop laughing, I wish I recorded it.." As Lucien spoke, the moonlight seemed to intensify, casting them to glare down athim. Yet he remained unafraid, his voice ringing out clear and true in the night. He knew that he had stumbled upon something extraordinary, and he was determined to share it with them.
"What the fuck? I sound so fucking weak. I didn't kill hundreds, just to be patronized like this." Kellin felt his cheeks flush with embarrassment as the group erupted into laughter. His eyes darted around, searching for a way out of the situation, but he found no escape. He had made a foolish mistake, and now he was paying the price. The laughter continued, growing louder and more raucous with each passing moment.
"Vince, don't even let me get started on you— when I saw you, you were wearing an apron and you were holding a tray of cupcakes!" Lucien continued to laugh, tears started to even spring to his eyes as he howled with laughter, "Your human version even offered me one!" Vince could feel the weight of his group's amusement pressing down upon him, suffocating him with its intensity— he crossed his arms angrily and waited for the laughter to die down.
"Oh my god— and Anni? She was so small, and cute. I swear, she had the cutest little freckles on her face and get this—" They seemed to be drawn to the tales he wove, their interest piqued by the stories he told of the other world he had seen. His descriptions were vivid and intricate, each word carefully chosen to paint a picture in the minds of his captive audience. "This Anni was actually….nice!"
"No fucking way." Kellin crossed his arms, "You're so full of shit, Lucien."
"Am I?" Lucien challenged, his Chesire-like grin carved onto his face, "Go see it for yourself— you won't regret it."
Anni's voice was hushed, almost reverent, as she began to insult this supposed version of herself, "I seem so fucking pathetic. I can't believe a version of myself even exists— I'm so glad humans barely exist in this world, they fucking disgust me." She said, her eyes alight with annoyance. "I'm done hearing about this weird shit. I have more important things to do."
Varrick's face flushed as he felt a warmth spread across his cheeks, the telltale sign of a blush. He couldn't believe how much of an effect Anni had on him with just the very thought of her being not only human, but a kind-hearted human— the thought of it had his heart racing, and he was going to take Lucien's advice— he was going to go see this Anni from another universe.
— . — . —
Anni wandered through the woods, her senses heightened by the eerie silence that surrounded her. The trees loomed above her, casting dark shadows that seemed to follow her every move. She couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. Unbeknownst to Anni, Varrick was indeed watching her from a distance, his eyes fixed on her every movement. He had been exploring the woods when he stumbled upon her, and something about her had captivated him. He couldn't resist the urge to follow her, to see where she was going.
As Anni walked deeper into the woods, Varrick stayed hidden, his eyes never leaving her form. He watched as she stopped to inspect a flower, her delicate fingers tracing its petals. He saw the way her hair caught the light, making it seem like it was on fire. But then, something changed. Anni's head snapped up, her eyes scanning the surrounding area. Varrick froze, hoping against hope that he hadn't been spotted. But it was too late. Anni's gaze settled on a pair of glowing eyes in the darkness, and she gasped in fear.
Before Varrick could even react, Anni turned and ran, her movements quick and panicked. She didn't see the rock in her path until it was too late, and she tripped, her head hitting a tree root with a sickening thud. Varrick rushed to her side, his heart pounding in his chest. He saw the blood trickling from the gash on her forehead and knew that he had to act quickly. He cradled her in his arms, his hands gentle as he tried to rouse her from unconsciousness.
"Anni, can you hear me!?" he whispered, his voice filled with worry.
For a moment, there was no response. But then, Anni's eyes fluttered open, her gaze unfocused— before she immediately fell back to sleep. Varrick let out a sigh of relief, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders.
— . — . —
Anni groaned as she slowly opened her eyes. She tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through her head, causing her to wince and fall back onto the hard, cold ground. Blinking rapidly, she tried to assess her surroundings, but all she could see was darkness. She could barely remember what had happened, but she knew she was in trouble.
Suddenly, she heard a deep purring sound coming from beside her. She turned her head and saw a large demon standing over her, his glowing eyes fixed on her face. He was massive, with weapons that stretched out behind him and a set of razor-sharp claws that glinted in the darkness. Anni's heart raced as she realized she was in the presence of something otherworldly.
The demon spoke, his voice low and guttural. "Are you alright?" he asked, his eyes still trained on her.
Anni was so disoriented that she couldn't find the words to answer. She just stared up at the demon, trying to make sense of what was happening.
"I am Varrick," he said, his voice echoing through the space around them. "I know you, and you know me, but…in another world."
Anni tried to sit up again, but the pain in her head was too much. "What's going on?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Don't be scared," Varrick replied, his eyes still locked onto hers. "I'm not here to hurt you— I would never dream of it." Anni's eyes widened as she realized that this large demon strangely resembled the Varrick she knew. She tried to sit up again, but the pain in her head was too much. She felt dizzy and disoriented, and she couldn't focus on anything. Varrick seemed to notice her discomfort, and he leaned down closer to her. His eyes scanned her face, taking in every detail, from the freckles on her nose to the small size of her hands.
Anni's head throbbed as she slowly opened her eyes once again. She groaned and tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through her skull, causing her to wince and fall back onto the hard, cold ground. She was disoriented and confused, unable to recall what had happened. As she tried to regain her bearings, she noticed the demon who continued to loom over her. She squinted, trying to focus her vision, and saw that it was the same demon and glowing yellow eyes. He was staring at her intently, as if he were trying to read her thoughts.
"You're so…cute. Lucien had mentioned that you were a human— but I'd never imagine you to be so…adorable." He mentioned, his voice deep and rumbling.
Anni blinked, still trying to process the situation. "Uhhh...what?" she managed to stammer.
The demon's eyes never left her face as he spoke again. "Sorry," he said. "Was that too much?"
Anni's heart raced as she realized she was in the presence of something otherworldly. She tried to sit up again, but the pain in her head was too intense.
"What happened?" she asked, struggling to remember how she had ended up there.
"You hit your head against a tree root— hard. But I brought you to a cabin I presume was yours, it had your scent." Varrick replied, his voice surprisingly gentle. "You're safe now." Anni felt a sense of relief wash over her as she realized she wasn't alone in this strange place. She looked up at Varrick, taking in his intimidating presence, but also sensing a kindness in his gaze.
"Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Varrick nodded, his eyes scanning her face with a look of curiosity. "You are different from the other Anni I know," he said.
Anni furrowed her brow, confused by his statement. "What do you mean?"
Anni felt a shiver run down her spine as Varrick reached out and traced his finger along her freckled nose. She was taken aback by the sudden intimacy of the gesture, but she couldn't deny the warmth that spread through her body at his touch.
"You are very cute," Varrick said, his voice low and husky.
Anni blushed, feeling a flutter in her chest at the compliment. She had never been called cute by anyone before, let alone a demon. Varrick continued to trace his fingers across her face, taking in every detail. He gently brushed his thumb over her lips, causing her to gasp in surprise. His touch was surprisingly tender, and Anni found herself leaning into it, wanting more.
As Varrick's hand moved down to her palm, Anni couldn't help but feel a jolt of electricity shoot through her body. His touch was sending tingles up her arm, and she found herself wanting more of his affection.
Varrick seemed to sense her desire, and he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her ear. "You are so small and delicate," he whispered. "I could hold you in my arms forever."
Anni's heart raced as she felt Varrick's breath on her skin. She was both scared and excited by his closeness, unsure of what would happen next.
But instead of doing anything more, Varrick simply sat back and looked at her, his eyes filled with a mixture of tenderness and curiosity.
"You are different than the other Anni," he said, his voice soft. "You have a purity and innocence to you that she lacks. It is refreshing."
Anni felt a sense of pride at his words, grateful that he saw something good in her. She had always felt like an outsider, never quite fitting in with the people around her. But here, in this strange realm with a demon, she felt like she belonged.
"Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Varrick simply smiled at her, his eyes twinkling with warmth. "You are welcome," he said. "I am here to protect you, Anni. You are safe with me."
Anni felt a sense of contentment wash over her as Varrick continued to trace his fingers along her skin. She was captivated by his gentle touch, feeling as though she could stay in this moment forever. But that moment was shattered when a sudden noise echoed through the darkness. Anni jumped, her heart racing as she looked around for the source of the sound.
And then, out of nowhere, OCV-Anni appeared, her eyes blazing with anger. "What are you doing with her? We were supposed to be out on a mission— and youre cuddling with a pathetic human version of me?" she demanded, her voice sharp and menacing. Anni's jaw had practically dropped— was she on drugs, or did a more badass version of her just casually break through the door— what the hell was happening?
Varrick stood up, pulling Anni up with him. He held onto her tightly, as if protecting her from Viper's wrath. "We were just talking— shes so…cute." he said, his voice calm and even.
OCV-Anni scoffed, her eyes flicking between Varrick and Anni. "She's just a human," she said. "What could you possibly see in her?"
Varrick bristled at her words, a little smile tugging at his lips— hugging her closely. "She is not just a human," he said. "She is you! But nicer— and kind— I want to take her home with me…she's just so precious. I've never met someone like her.." Varrick was obviously being dramatic— he had only known this Anni for about five minutes, and yet he couldn't keep his hands off of her.
Anni felt a sense of gratitude towards Varrick for standing up for her, but she also felt a sense of fear at the intensity of the situation. OCV–Anni seemed to sense her discomfort, and she turned her attention back to Varrick. "Fine," she said, her voice dripping with disdain. "Do what you want. But don't say I didn't warn you. I'm gonna go explore, maybe bring home some humans. Demons will kill each other over a single piece of human meat." And with that, she disappeared into the darkness, leaving Varrick and Anni alone once again.
Varrick turned to Anni, his eyes filled with concern. "Are you alright?" he asked, his voice soft.
Anni nodded, feeling a sense of relief that the danger had passed. "Thank you," she said. "For protecting me."
Varrick simply smiled at her, his eyes twinkling with affection. "Of course," he said. "You are special to me, Anni. I will always keep you safe."
Anni felt a sense of warmth spread through her chest at his words. She was grateful to have found someone in this strange realm who cared for her, who saw her as more than just a human.
But as she looked up at Varrick, she couldn't help but wonder what other dangers lay in store— I mean, what the actual hell was happening? This entire situation was just so confusing— was this demon even actually Varrick, or was it just some shapeshifter claiming to be him? She had a hard time understanding this situation, anybody would be confused— and it all started with that mysterious woman, apparently named Viper.
