What alternative names could Danne go under?
For me, two names come to mind: Annepocalypse and Annerchy.
Good question! 😮
I usually just use Danne, but I’ve seen some pretty good ones elsewhere. The first ones that come to my mind are Villanne, and Doomchuy. Aside from those, I don’t know anymore lol. Annepocalypse and Annerchy are cool alt names. I haven’t heard Annepocalyse until now surprisingly.

Carolina is also seen using more varieties of weapons than any other Freelancer I think - battle rifles, plasma rifles, pugil sticks.

Annepocalypse nails it AGAIN
I'll admit to having not watched season 16 at all (15 was a low point in the show for me and every time I look it up it always feels like someone pushes me away) but I wanted to ask someone with far more investment in the RVB lore than me: Do you think Joe was a good fit for RVB?
Sorry this is so late, I’ve been trying to figure out how to answer this question for a week.
To say “No” would vastly oversimplify my feelings, because there have been good moments these two season–even inspired moments. I don’t want to write off the good that exists in Joe’s work because it is precisely those moments that tell me he could be a good fit for RvB.
He could.
But a lot of what is good about Joe’s style and his grasp of the characters in their less plotty, more standing-around-talking moments is undercut by the way his plots have a tendency to push those characters around and make the story feel distinctly un-character-driven. To me it feels like when Joe has an Idea, he becomes married to that idea, and all the existing elements of the world and universe must be made to serve that idea, including the characters–regardless of how much it works or feels continuous with previous arcs.
Joe could be a good fit for this show. But he needs to get out of his ego and realize that some ideas might not work for these characters and this show, and if he loves them so much they might be better saved for original work. (By “ego” I mean ego as the part of the psyche, not ego as in conceit.) I don’t love the expression “Kill your darlings” because it is so easily misunderstood but I think it applies here.
