Welcome to TTI takes!

A brief intro to tti (for those who somehow stumble across this blog and don't know):

TTI or Total Takes Island is a fan made season made by Mod Joner with a cast consisting on some of the takes mods. The first season was run through a tdi simulator and events were written out based on the results. You can find the results of the simulator over on @totaltakesisland but the story itself is on @total-drama-takes-takes-2 linked in order on the pinned post. If you haven't checked it out I would highly recommend doing so. Once you do this is the place to share all your thoughts on the series!

They did not publicize their relationship though. Jennie and Tae just didn't care who saw them on their romantic stroll. It's possible that they anncounced this "break up" to avoid further scandals and speculation about Tae in the military.

CAS PROJECT

Finding the idea:

Thanks to our great peer Julia who introduced us to the Foundation of Ronald McDonald, the idea came up to organize a project for the children in the hospital where we are volunteering regularly. To make it interesting and useful, we decided to include science so that the children will learn something new.  

Gathering people and choosing the general idea 

In order to make this event happen a group of around 10 people was required. Shortly after Julia’s initiative, we created a group of 11 people. Having gathered the group, we started brainstorming our ideas for the event. A group chat on Messenger was created to keep us in contact and to exchange our ideas. 

Proposal form

After the discussions, the proposal form of the project has been submitted and accepted afterward by our supervisor. It served as a brief outline of our aims and as a short description of what we were to complete.

Reflection

Fortunately, we all strongly agreed on one general idea for the event which allowed us to aim for the same goal. However, at first, the number of ideas we had was very large so unfortunately, we had to eliminate some which as a result taught us how to set oriorities and discuss. 

2. Further meetings and organization

After we agreed upon the general idea of the project we knew we had to take a further step and discuss the logistics with the foundation. Not only did we develop our creativity but also communication and organisation on a professional leverl with the foundiation’s organizers.

As mentioned before, it was necessary to keep in touch with the foundation to plan our event realistically. After some discussions and exchanges of ideas the coordinators agreed to our plan, and so we could take further action into developing the details more. 

Role division and decision about activities

Considering the advices of the foundation’s coordinators we developed a more detailed plan about what we were going to do on the science event for the children. The general idea was to make various science experiment stations scattered throughout a room. First, we gathered our ideas using a survey and then voted for the best ones. After choosing the most favorable ideas we devided ourselves in roles: EVENT MANAGER: Julia K.

Reflection

This stage of planning our project was much more complex as it involved much more details and serous conversations with the foundation’s coordinators, as we had to be aware if the risks of creating such an hotel in a hospital etc. With this also came the awareness of the responsibility we all had in order to fulfil this project with a success. 

3. Preparations and bringing ideas into life

As we regularly volunteer at the hospital, we continued so but put our focus on developing our skills in the context of spending time with children and exploring how they behave. 

Spacial planning

As we got the information about what room the event will take place we were able to create a plan for the room with a detailed plan were which station is places. 

Equipment

As the foundation did not have all materials we needed to comlete all our experiments we had to purchase certain things on our own. We made a plan on who buys what and a summary of costs. In the end all of us have contributed to the finances by paing 20 zl. 

Crafting 

One of the most important features of an event for children are attractive aesthetics wo we put a lot of work in creating decorations for our room. We were preparing posters, decorations etc. on a period of around 3 weeks. It was a great experience, also for us, to get to know each other better. Furthermore, we decided together with the foundation to anncounce this event, to create a professional poster and invitations for the children. 

Reflection

During this part of the project we realised how much work and effeort has to be put in such a short (in time) event. This part took the longest but it was the most creative one. 

4. Final project

The final event took place on the 2nd of June from 2 pm to 4pm in the conference room of the hospital.
