starting my healing journey
The last month or so has been really hard. I’m in one of the worst depressive episodes I think I’ve ever been in. And that seems so ridiculous; I know that anyone who sees what my life is like would tell me that I have nothing to be depressed about, but they don’t get to see what’s going on in my head and in my soul. They don’t see all the scars, all the holes, all the places where I feel like I’m falling apart at the seams.
I heard a song today on a random Spotify radio station I made, and it hit me in a pretty profound way. So I decided to get back on tumblr and use this as my healing journey journal.
Thank you to Anna Clendening for writing this song.
“Now I'm slowly sinking, caving, try to fight it but I can't breathe Chest is heavy, hands are numb, I'm tired but I can't sleep Choking on my pride, my tongue is tied and now I find myself reaching out for help I could really use your help right now Fight or flight, I feel I don't know how to stand on my own or which way to go”

Invisible || CS55 x Mechanic!Reader
Warnings: 18+, unprotected sex, oral (m), self inflicted orgasm denial, (slight) sub!Carlos
Wordcount: 1.1k
I actually love this so much
She told herself that she would focus on her work and not her love life. That seamed to go right into the drain when she started working for Ferrari’s F1 team
There was one person who stood out from the rest of the crew. One of the drivers actually
Carlos Sainz
She adored him, not because he was a driver, and a god damn good one, but because he was pretty
He had pretty eyes, his hair was pretty, his smile was pretty
She was in love with him
But she has to do it from a distance. She was pretty damn sure he didn’t even know she existed
She admired him from a far. From the back of the garage
He had DNF’ed in the race. Crashing into the wall during a turn where he had hit the apex a little to far out
He was furious as he slammed the door to his drivers room
She decided if it was worth it going over to him, knocking on the door, asking if he was okay
But seeing she had probably been invisible to him, he wouldn’t who she was, and that wouldn’t be worth it
But when Leclerc had gotten the fastest lap the next lap, she decided it was worth trying
She walked over to his room, avoiding the other engineers and mechanics
She hesitated for a moment before knocking softly on the door
“What?” His tone was stern and it slightly broke
She opened the door slightly, just so she could peek in. His eyes were puffy and red. He had been crying
“I’m sorry, I just wanted to see if you were okay” She saw the confusing look in his eyes “Oh, I’m one of the mechanics” She said, opening the door further
“I know. Y/N, right?”
He knows me
“Yeah” She smiled slightly “Are you okay?” She asked now fully stepped into the room
“Why are you asking?” He was now standing up, taking a step towards her
“You were furious, and I’ve never seen you like that, so I wanted to know if you were okay” She stuttered slightly as he walked closer
“I don’t- We don’t even know each other” He closed the door behind her, stepping so close she was pressed up against it, but still leaving space for her to slip away
“I know, but I’m a nice person, and you were in a bad state, just making sure you’re okay” She gulped as he hooked his middle pointy finger under her chin, making her look up
“With those gorgeous eyes looking at me, I’m so much better” He stepped closer, leaning his head down, lips mere inches away
She put both her hands on his jaw, pulling him close, connecting their lips
He kissed back, putting his hands on her hips, trapping her body between his and the door
As the kiss got more sloppy and wet, his hand went to the lock on the door. She took the opportunity to turn them around after he had locked it
Her lips traveled to over his jaw and down his neck, leaving a trail of marks, surly to deepen in the next half hour
“Fuck. Hermosa” He whimpered when she found and sucked on his soft spot below his ear
“Yes?” She teased, going to her knees, pulling his race suit from his hips and down to pool at his ankles
She pulled his boxers down as well, looking up at him doing so
“You’re so fucking- Ah” His sentence was cut short when she started placing kitten licks on the head of his cock
He threw his head softly against the door, screwing his eyes shut, scrunching his face together
He grabbed her shoulders as her hands went to the back of his thighs. She licked up a thick stipe his now fully hard cock
He moaned when she took all of him into her mouth, hollowing her cheeks. She choked around him when he hit the back of her throat
“Fuck” His breath shuttered as the vibrations around him
He forced his eyes open to look down at her. She was already looking up at him. The most beautiful eyes from below him
He moved a hand into her hair, making a make believe ponytail as she started moving her head
She grabbed his thighs harder, making marks with her nails, as he started thrusting into her mouth, making more moans leave his mouth as he hit the back of her throat at every thrust
His other hand came up to his mouth, trying to silence his moans so the whole garage wouldn’t hear him
She would’ve loved to hear his loud moans and whimpers, but she knew they couldn’t get caught
She started feeling him twitch inside her mouth as his body shook slightly
He pulled her head back by her hair, whining at the loss of contact between her mouth and his cock
“What? Want to come in my instead” She smirked, getting up with a small groan from the pain in her knees
“Why else would I stop that close to my orgasm?” He asked, but kissed her lips before she could answer
His hands traveled down her body, down to the waistband of her pants. She put her hands on his biceps when he unbuttoned her pants
He turned them around when he had zipped them down. She stepped out of her pants quickly
He kissed her roughly. His hands went to the back of her thighs, picking her up, making her yelp and put her legs around his hips
She whimpered low when he drew the head of his cock between her folds. She connected their lips when he slowly entered her, muffling their moans to a low mumble
His grip on her thighs were tight, making sure she wouldn’t slid down the wall
He started thrusting into her. She forced her tongue into him, muffling his moans further, exploring his mouth
She could already start to feel him twitch inside her, but she was no where near her orgasm
Her hand drew from around his neck and down his torso, in between their bodies and down to her clit
She started circling it, her tongue still in the drivers mouth, pressing lightly down onto his tongue
She started clenching around him, his thrusts getting sloppy and his grip on her thighs softer
She felt her orgasm nearing “Come for me, Carlos” Her words sent him over the edge, biting down on her shoulder as his body shook, filling her up
The feeling of his cum dripping down from her cunt to her ass pulled her over the edge as well, clenching rapidly around him
His face was still damp from sweat when he hid it in the crook of her neck, hugging her from behind when they had gotten their clothes back on
“You’re not invisible” He sighed, kissing her neck softly “I’ve always seen you”

Song the title is referring to:
So tired of trying and trying while you were denying
That you never lied, and now you’ve gone in hiding
You can’t even try to fix what you did
You ripped me to pieces, yet, you’re the one speechless
Now my nights are sleepless ‘cause you saw my weakness
A little naïve, and I gave more than I had to give
The heat was kicking your ass, like it was nobody’s business. Your skin was slick with sweat most of the time. You didn’t even see the point in taking a shower anymore because as soon as you stepped out of it, you were already sweating. The clothes on your back were sticking to your skin, and at times it did feel suffocating. You moved as little as possible, laying on the floorboard, half naked, feeling some relief.
You were currently laying on the floor because of the heat, but, mostly because you couldn’t help but ruminate about the events within the last few weeks that led you there. You didn’t know how it came to this. Were you that stupid really? Did he think you were that big of a moron?
You had reasoned yourself that it was all for work, and it was. It was quite a big trial, involving a big name of the pharmaceuticals industry. You understood that he, they had to put in the extra hours. That wasn’t what you had a problem with. It wasn’t that he did cancel from time to time, or that he wasn’t available at times, on Fridays. It wasn’t that he sometimes didn’t answer your calls, especially, because he would call you right back as soon as he had time. It wasn’t any of that.
No, it became a problem with the lies he was throwing in your face.
“Hey, honey,” you smiled widely as you sat next to him in the booth. He pushed a hot steaming cup towards you. “Thanks.”
Matthew had called pretty early this morning, asking if you would mind meeting for a quick coffee. To which you agreed quite quickly, you had not met with each other in quite a while. And since, he was working on this big case, you knew those moments would be rare. So, of course, you would take any opportunity to see him.
“I’m so glad you invited me,” you told him grinning.
“Well, we haven’t seen each other in a while. So, I thought a coffee wouldn’t hurt.” He replied, his smile mirroring yours.
“Yeah, it has been a while,” you nodded. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages.”
He huffed out a laugh, “me too.” He adjusted the glasses on his face, while doing so, he involuntarily gave you a glimpse of the bruise on his cheekbone.
“What happened to your face?” You asked worriedly, reaching out to touch the purple on his face.
“Oh—uh—” he stuttered, adjusting his glasses again, “I tripped taking the trash out.”
“Oh, my god, Matt!”
“It’s alright, I’m alright.” Matt reassured you, reaching across the table and you put your hands in his, “I’m blind, you know. These things tend to happen.”
“I guess,” you shrugged. “Next time, if you need anything done around your house, just call me.”
“I’m not gonna call you to throw away the trash,” Matt reasoned with you.
“No, of course not,” you agreed with him, he frowned. “Just in case you get hurt, you know. I’ll be there to call 911. In case of emergencies, you know.” Matt barked out a laugh.
You had believed him that first time. He seemed embarrassed enough about it. But maybe, this was just another lie.
You sat up, hugging your knees, a long breath passed your lips. You were no strangers to lies. You had lied before, to your father or to your friends, or even to your siblings. No one was above the occasional lie. You lied when you were trying to surprise someone. You lied to hide how you truly felt because you didn’t want to burden them with your worries. You lied to your father because you didn’t want to be punished or yelled at. You lied by omission when it came to your past, you would rarely reveal that your mother walked out on you. Unless you were asked directly. Only because of that one time you provided the information voluntarily; and your father berated you for it.
You were not above a lie. You were human after all.
With Matt, though, things had been different. You had put pretty much everything out in the open. He knew about your mother pretty quickly. He talked about his father and how he had become blind. He had been honest with you, as much as you had been with him. So, why the lies now? What was so important that he felt the need to lie about it?
“Is everything okay?” You asked him on the phone.
“Yeah—uhm—just I can’t make it tonight.” Matt apologized.
“Oh,” you felt the pang of disappointment, you had been looking forward to this date.
“I’m sorry, really, it’s just—we need to go over a few more details.” Matt started to explain.
“No, I—uh—I get it,” you cut him off. “We can reschedule, it’s alright.”
“I’m really sorry,” Matt said again. “I was really looking forward to see you.”
“Yeah, me too,” you sighed. “But I get it, don’t worry. We can always celebrate when you win your case.”
“I’ll make it up to you, I promise.”
“You better.”
You got up from your spot, going to your fridge, pouring yourself some cold water. A sigh of frustration made its way out of your chest.
You hated this. So much. If he was lying about this, what else was he lying about? Could you trust him fully in the future?
This awful feeling, the nagging sense that something didn’t add up, was cruelly clawing at your chest. On the surface, those were reasonable, close enough to the truth. And you believed him, only to give yourself peace. Because you didn’t want to doubt him.
But the list of reasons why he couldn’t call or see you, just kept piling up. The bruises kept showing up on his face, it wasn’t that far-fetched that he might have walked into a wall, or fell down the stairs. He was blind after all. But you couldn’t help but think those may all be lies too. Maybe there was something more nefarious at play, something that would cause those bruises and who knew, maybe worse injuries. Injuries you may never know about, if he kept lying to you.
The uncertainty of not knowing, doubt after doubt that you tried to dismiss to gain a sense of mental peace. But the lies just kept coming and piling up on top of one another. That only brought more doubts. You didn’t know if you should believe him anymore. And along with that there was the agonizing fear that you may be doing a complete disservice to someone entirely innocent.
“Aren’t that Foggy and Karen?” Amelia pulled your attention to the pool tables, “I thought they were reviewing notes tonight.”
“I thought so too,” you replied slowly. “Maybe, I got it wrong,” you shrugged.
“Let’s go join them, then.” Amelia suggested, pulling you behind her. “Nelson and Page,” she called as you got closer.
“Hey, guys!” You waved quickly.
They smiled back at you both, “girl’s night out, uh?” Foggy questioned grinning.
“Yeah, taking a small break before going back into the fray tomorrow.” Amelia nodded, as the four settled in the booth by the pool tables. “What about you? And where’s the third part of your trio?”
Karen and Foggy glanced at each other before either one of them answered. You knew then something was wrong. You thought maybe it could have been a misunderstanding on your part but you remembered correctly. Matt told you they’d be stuck in the office. All three of them, not just him. But then again, this was the same excuse they would give you, anytime Matt skipped on the hang out.
Foggy replied, “oh, well, Matt—is still going over some details. Making sure everything is on the right path.”
Karen gave you a tight smile, “we just needed a break tonight. You know, this case is one of the hardest we had so far.” And you nodded.
“Well, since we reopened the firm, really,” Foggy reminded her. “I still think nothing beats Wilson Fisk’s court case.”
“Oh, yeah, that was you,” Amelia leaned over the table.
You stopped listening after that. The way Foggy and Karen glanced at each other didn’t sit well with you. Clearly something was off, you just couldn’t tell what.
Not only was he lying to you but his friends were covering for him. Which was disappointing because you thought they were your friends too. But you couldn’t be mad at them, of course, they would cover for him. Still, their covering up his lies, felt disrespectful. And you didn’t know what to make of it anymore.
Where did you go wrong? Have you done something that would lead him to lie to you? That would lead his friends to lie to you? Was this him pulling away from you?
You knew you loved him. You were in love with that man, you were sure of it. And parts of you, thought Matt loved you too. The thing was you never said the words, never allowed yourself to say it, because in your mind there was some sort of timeline for those milestones. Barely four months into the relationship was too soon to say the words. And maybe you were wrong about the timeline thing, but you were glad you had not utter the words yet.
That none of you had. It would have made everything that much more painful.
You had to make a decision. If you wanted your relationship to go on, that was. You needed to confront him. You hated confrontations but something was not right there. It felt as though Matt was playing you and you hated that even more. So, you would put on your big girl pants and you would confront him.
It could either fix or break everything.
“I already told you, Matt. I can walk myself home,” you told him as he had followed you out of the bar.
“Come on, sweetheart, it’s pretty late. Let me walk you home,” Matt pleaded with you.
You’ve had enough. Another lie had simply made its way out of his mouth. And you were tired of it, and of course, Karen and Foggy had come to the rescue to cover the lie with another one of theirs.
“No, I can’t do this anymore.” You shook your head, struggling to keep your voice strong and steady.
“What?”
“This,” you gestured between the two of you. “The lies, the secrecy, I can’t do this anymore.” You watched as his face crumbled. “I’d rather walk home alone, otherwise I might say some hurtful things. So, I’m walking myself home, and you can go back inside and have fun with your friends,” you turned to leave, but came back around. “Oh, and while you’re at it, tell them to work on their poker face. They suck at it.”
That was a few hours ago. You simply didn’t know how to go from there. You had ignored many of his calls. He was probably calling to do some damage control, but you refused to answer the phone. You didn’t want to be served more lies. But you also needed answers, and you couldn’t wait another day for them. You needed to know where you stood with Matt. Where you would go from there.
Matthew wasn’t living that far away from you, but you thought it would be safer to take a cab. Matt didn’t know you were coming. You didn’t know why you didn’t tell him. A twisted part of your brain thought you would catch him in the act. And you hated him for it. You didn’t believe that Matt would cheat, but when so much lies had been told to you in those last few weeks, you couldn’t dismiss the possibility of it. You refused to believe he would, but there were no other explanations. Why would he lie otherwise?
Your heart was hammering away in your chest. Your breath shallow as you raised your fist to knock on his door. You froze up. This could be it; this could be the end of your story with Matt. Or it could make everything better between you both. You doubted it, though.
It was too good to be true. This was the moment the other shoe would drop.
You took a deep breath and knocked. Matt opened the door pretty quickly as though he was waiting for you.
“I know it’s pretty late but I—” you started. “Can I come in?” You asked quietly.
“Yes, please,” Matt stepped away from the door, making room for you to go in. You made your way to his living room, as he quietly followed you. The neon lights flashed brightly through his living room; a bright purple splattered across the walls. “Do you—uhm, do you want anything to drink?”
“Just water please,” you replied.
You stood in the middle of the room, remembering all the moments you shared with him in his apartment. Your heart constricted painfully; tears pressed against your eyes. Matt came back and put the glass on the coffee table. He sat down on the couch, his glasses gone from his face. You took the glass, and took a sip of water, in a feeble attempt to calm your own nerves. You sat down in the armchair near his bedroom, putting as much distance as you could between you both.
“Sweetheart—”
“I couldn’t sleep,” you cut him off. “I’ve been thinking about the last few weeks, and—“ you took in a deep and shaky breath, your hands rubbing against your thighs. “I miss you; I really do. And I—” you paused, lips wobbling, taking in a shaky breath. “I don’t think I can do this anymore. I understand that you work, I get that. But you—I can’t deal with the lies anymore, Matt.”
You stood up and started pacing the ground, the pit in your stomach growing by the minute. “All I can think about is how you lied to me. You lied to me for weeks, Matt. Weeks. And I keep thinking maybe I’ve done something wrong. I’ve done something to hurt you. And maybe, that’s why you’re pulling away. Because you don’t want this anymore.”
“No, you didn’t do anything.” Matt stood up to face you, “I—want this, I swear. I want us.”
“Then what? Why are we here, Matt?” You questioned.
“Sweetheart, it’s complicated—”
“Then uncomplicate it,” you shot back. He remained silent, his hands on his hips. His lips were quivering, tears were welling up in his eyes. “Because I’m lost here. To—to think you’re going through life—to think that no matter what you do, you end up being punished for—for—for—” tears ran down your cheeks, “I don’t want to be blindsided because you don’t want me anymore. Because I’ve been too much. Or maybe because I’m not enough—”
He gripped your hand, and pulled it to his chest. “You are enough,” his hand ran up and down your forearm. “I—want you. More than you know,” his lips quivered.
“Then why are we here? Why all the lies?”
“I will tell you everything—just—”
“Just what?” You wiped away the tears that had fallen on your face, pulling your hand out his grip and away from his chest. “I hate this,” Matt took a step towards you. “I don’t want to be this girl who is insecure. I don’t want to be the girl who’s paranoid. I don’t want to be this person. But I also don’t want to stay where I’m not wanted, Matthew,” you took a step back. “And I don’t want to walk away. Not from this, not from us,” tears were falling down his face. “But I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do here?”
“Stay,” Matthew said in a quiet plea. “Stay,” he found your hand and brought it to his chest, once again. “I want you; I want us. Never doubt that, I—” his fingers around your forearm tightened slightly. “I—I will tell you everything. Just—just stay tonight, please.”
His tears fell down his cheeks, his brows were furrowed in sorrow, “no more lies, please?” You begged him.
“No more lies,” he promised, pulling you closer.
“Okay,” you nodded. You didn’t know where it would lead you both. This could be the end, but you owed it to yourself to listen to what he had to say, “I’m staying.”

Can I request a yandere jean x reader thanks
Yes you can my precious anon!
Title: Invisible
Pairings: Jean Kirstein x Reader
WARNINGS: Yandere themes, idol AU
Summary: Jean is your #1 fan, but you have no idea he exists.
“Iʼm in love with someone who doesn’t know I exist
I stare from afar, in my hand-broken heart
While I play pretend
Iʼm in love with someone who doesn't know I exist
And itʼs you, yes itʼs true”
-From “Invisible” by Anna Clendening
The lights were off in Jean’s room. Still, a flickering light lit up the room, coming from the small TV at the foot of his bed. He had laid down on his stomach over the plain green covers, chin resting on one fist as he gazed enraptured at the screen.
On the screen was a group of three girls dancing across a small stage, spotlights following them across the polished wood as they executed their dance moves they had spent countless hours learning from their choreographer. They each had a microphone lifted up to their glossy lips as they sang into them the lyrics of an original love song.
Jean couldn’t tear his eyes off the screen- or, more specifically, the idol left from the center- even if he tried. Even though he was two hours into the performance compilation video, his attention did not waver.
The flickering light from the TV screen lights up the posters on the walls- all featuring a certain idol. The poster above the bed, the clear centerpiece in the collage of Instagram post printouts and Google images, had a signature scrawled across it, reading (Y/n) (L/n). The featured girl had her (hair color) hair tied up in a ponytail and was winking indefinitely at the camera.
On top of the sleek wooden desk in the corner, little action figures and plushies seemed to portray the same idol. He had everything you ever sold, even a dozen mugs with your group’s faces on them.
“Perfect…” the word floats from Jean’s mouth dreamily, “Everything about her is perfect…”
Some people would argue that no one could be perfect, but Jean would readily disagree. You were beyond human standards. You were otherworldly.
Makeup on point, dress unwrinkled, face so cutely asymmetrical, and body with just the perfect amount of curves. Jean couldn’t imagine a more beautiful woman.
You doubled as a songwriter for the group. While some people critiqued the lyrics of your songs for being too cheesy, Jean, again, thought you were perfect. The songs seemed to be speaking straight to him and, when you turned to stare right through the camera’s lens into his eyes and tell him that you want to “kiss kiss kiss” him, he couldn’t help but get flustered.
Jean wouldn’t let anyone else see this side of him. Marco would understand if he saw the inside of Jean’s room, but someone like Eren? Well, Jean would be humiliated.
But if you were to become his girlfriend, like he was sure you would want to, Eren would be so jealous! Jean could never hide a grin at the thought of Eren’s jaw dropping when he saw the beautiful rising star on Jean’s arm.
He reached out his index finger and traced your dancing form on the TV screen, a soft smile tugging at his lips. He had been in love with you for three years at this point, and sometimes he wondered if you even knew he existed.
Of course she knows I exist. Jean reassured himself. She signed my poster at a meet and greet and I’ve been to eighteen of her shows. I know we met eyes during each of those shows, so there’s no doubt she’s got a crush on me. And all these love songs she’s writing are clearly talking about me.
The group began to sing their newest song and Jean’s dreamy smile dropped. This song was all about a girl feeling jealous that her crush was with someone else. At first, he thought someone else must have written it, but you had confirmed in an interview that it was a song you’d written from personal experience.
Jean couldn’t imagine who you could think he was with, until you mentioned “her dark hair” and it clicked. You meant Mikasa! Of course you would feel threatened by such an undeniably beautiful woman.
But you had nothing to worry about- he wasn’t into Mikasa anymore. You were the only girl for him.
But if you kept singing that song with such a sad look in your eyes and such a cute frown pulling on your lips, he might just have to take a drastic step to get back in your good graces.
If Mikasa was dead, would you smile again for him?
